What do you like best about Magento Open Source?

There are a ton of developers that understand the platform and are easy to find. It's a strong ecommerce platform for a very low cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Magento Open Source?

Cost are based off of server licenses. If you have more servers to manage traffic, it will increase the cost signficantly..losing it's value over elite ecommerce platforms like Demandware & ATG. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Magento Open Source:

It's great for small to medium business and ease of use. The upgrade to 2.0 is happening in March, so it might be good to wait until then to implement Magento, so you don't have to upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
