It is nice that I can select every individual stroke. However, it sometimes gets in the way of productivity. All you need to do is click on Lumin PDF and wella! You got anything you need, if from Fillion something out with a marker, highlighting something, inputting text, it's got it all. If you ever needed to download it to your computer, its got that covered too! **What do you dislike about Lumin for G Suite?** The only slight problem I faced was when using a drawing tablet and trying to use marker-like handwriting. Sometimes you may accidentally click on the previous text and move it or make random dots trying to right-click and edit somethings properties. It's straightforward and effortless to use, from opening the pdf to utilizing the most basic features required for editing a pdf. One merely has to sign in, choose a file, and select any tool in the toolbar on the top and get to work. Just mess around for a bit, and you'll quickly figure out how to zoom in, move around, etc. Also, as a side note, I love the auto-save feature - no more accidental loss of work (which is incredibly frustrating when doing something more tedious such as editing a pdf). **What do you dislike about Lumin for G Suite?** Its simplicity comes with the price of more minor features. I am using the free version, which isn't as fully featured as Adobe Acrobat, but it does what I need it to do. Other reviewers have mentioned ads - I routinely use an ad blocker, so I haven't really had issues with them. **What do you dislike about Lumin for G Suite?** It took me a little while to figure out how to add a coloured background to text boxes, which allowed me to 'white-out' text. Again, because I'm using the free version, I just work with the features I have. Not matter which device I'm using, since everything is in the browser, I can always count on it whether I'm at work on my macbook, at home on my linux, or in a meeting using windows or my students' chromebooks, Lumin works the same across all of them. The main reason I use Lumin though is to sign documents and fill PDF forms. In summary, I like that the program works without fail. **What do you dislike about Lumin for G Suite?** There are two things I dislike about this program, and it's the ads. OMG so many ads, and they can be pretty intrusive too. It has such a strong dependence on ads that I literally have to disable all three of my adblocker and anti-tracking extensions so that I can use Lumin. I get it; they need to make money, perro se pasan! Overall the ease of use that it provides beats others in competition. **What do you dislike about Lumin for G Suite?** Not many things I dislike apart from sometimes having to reconnect my drive email multiple times, which causes longer load times. Very versatile and useful Online Tool **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2021 **What do you like best about Lumin for G Suite?** The best thing about Lumin PDF is its variety of options to markup a page. **What do you dislike about Lumin for G Suite?** I don't like not seeing an apparent confirmation after syncing a file through Google Classroom. At first, I emailed my learners after syncing my marked-up copy of their work. Then, I was in the habit of re-loading my Google Classroom page to see a visual confirmation that everything worked out fine. A clear message stating something along the lines of, "The file is synced and any edits on your part are now visible to other parties" would give users a sense of security that they can move on with their workday. **Recommendations to others considering Lumin for G Suite:** I would suggest using Lumin PDF as the primary mean of marking student work because it is versatile in its ability to allow users to make different kinds of markup, like checkmarks and exes, freehand drawings, typing text, colouring text (so as to distinguish it from the learners'), etc. **What problems is Lumin for G Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping me mark student work and distribute it back to my students in an online environment. ## Lumin for G Suite Discussions -
