What do you like best about LucidLink?

I work in a production company so it's always nice to be able to share files so quickly once someone is set up even if they're halfway across the world. It's so useful and easy to use! It's also so easy to implement and integrate in a team setting and have a whole group of people work off of one file without the need to download it onto your desktop. I use it fairly frequently (every day) at my job and it's been such a great experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

It slows down my computer when I upload large files to it. It's quite cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's allowing my teams to collaborate more easily so that file sharing is quick and painless. I'm also able to share briefs and resourcing with freelance faster and get them onboarded into our internal system more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LucidLink?

The simplicity/ease of use to manage for our administration. It is able to use the full speed of users bandwidth and is not relying going through a vpn etc like our previous remote workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

Downsides would be trying to have hydrid setups where users are back in the studio under the same roof while others are remote. There is no simple setup for that.

No out of the box 2factor authentification for users unless your company already uses Okta or the other option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ability to have full remote artists using the same server without the bandwidth limitations of our own in house systems.

What do you like best about LucidLink?

LucidLink has worked exactly OR better than sold/expected. The onboarding, knowledge of the product, support responsivness and easy implementation all favorites so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

The more local data center is not currently avaliable but performance has NOT been compromised. The current version of the LucidApp will only allow mounting 1 filespace. The next version (which i have seen in action) will allow more than 2 filespace mounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

We recently merged with a smaller firm that had zero IT infastructure. We were having all of our newly merged employees remote in to a local workstation to work. Now LucidLink allows users multiple geographic locations to author in the same Revit model with out hosting our model in Autodesk's cloud solution. What do you like best about LucidLink?

It allows me and my team to work from anywhere knowing we have a single source of truth for our files. It also allows me to easily add clients as users so they have access to their assets without having to send weTransfer links etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LucidLink?

Sometimes can be a little slow when my internet connection is poor. The install process for the new apple silicon is a little complicated but easy enough when you've done it a couple of times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LucidLink?

The ability to keep our raw video files and photos within easy reach for each member of our virtual team has been a real time saver and I didn't have to be an IT expert to use it or get it set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
