## LucidLink Reviews
  ### 1. A better solution for collaborative remote work in entertainment media and beyond.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick S. | Video Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Ease of use versus Dropbox when it comes to new users, or freelancers in particular.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The inability to pause upload/syncing rate to pereserve bandwidth while uploading files elsewhere (to Frameio or via MASV for example).

Dropbox has the ability to "pause" syncing for an alotted amount of time, please add this functionality.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving how we work with freelancers and onboard artists to our cloud, without being a confusing mess (ex. bringing on someone to use our Dropbox when they already have a Dropbox account, causing lots of confusion, wasting time and money.)

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you find LucidLink easy to use, especially for new users and freelancers. We appreciate your feedback about the ability to pause upload/syncing rate, and we will definitely take that into consideration for future updates.

  ### 2. LucidLink Makes Remote Collaboration and Shared File Access Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa B. | Senior Digital Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Our agency works remotely—LucidLink makes it really easy to collaborate and have a shared space to access each other's files.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Occasionally I run into connection issues, but they resolve quickly after restarting LucidLink.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before LucidLink, we were using a self-hosted server that was hard to access remotely, especially for those who live in different states. LucidLink makes is insanely easy to access shared files. We'll work directly from LucidLink so our files are always syncing and we don't have to mess around with uploading/downloading or hunting for missing assets that live in someone's download folder.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> It's great to hear that LucidLink is solving the challenge of remote file access for your agency, making it easier to collaborate and access shared files. We appreciate your feedback!

  ### 3. Game-Changer for Instant File Access and Team Sync

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stanley M. | Client Success Manager, Consumer Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

LucidLink delivers exceptional performance that feels identical to a local hard drive, even when working with sizable files. Our team regularly handles high-res marketing visuals, comprehensive rewards program blueprints and large client presentation decks, and we can open, modify and save these files immediately with no tedious waiting for downloads. Real-time cross-team sync is another major strength. All changes update instantly across devices, so we never deal with duplicate files or version errors while collaborating on client incentive campaigns. The flexible permission controls also stand out; we can assign customized access for internal team members and external clients alike, effectively safeguarding confidential project details and client data. Setup was also a breeze — installation and folder mapping finished in minutes, and the intuitive interface meant our team required minimal onboarding to get fully productive.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The native file search tool is quite limited. With a growing library of campaign assets, program paperwork and client contracts, we cannot filter searches by file tags, metadata or file types, which means we spend extra time manually hunting for specific documents. The mobile experience also leaves room for improvement. When meeting clients off-site, we can view and share files but lack full editing functionality. The mobile interface occasionally runs slow too, which hinders our ability to tackle urgent tasks while working remotely.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using LucidLink, large file downloads created major workflow delays for our distributed team. By operating like a local drive, it cuts out long load times entirely. Real-time synchronization ensures everyone works from the most up-to-date files, putting an end to version mismatches and redundant copies. Overall, the tool streamlines collaboration, saves valuable work hours and keeps our incentive marketing and client projects running smoothly.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're so glad to hear that LucidLink has had such a positive impact on your team, providing exceptional performance and real-time cross-team sync. We appreciate your feedback on the native file search tool and mobile experience, and we will certainly consider that for future improvements. It's great to hear that LucidLink has helped streamline collaboration and save valuable work hours for your team.

  ### 4. Revolutionized Global Media Access with LucidLink

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I use LucidLink connected to Wasabi for our media assets, and it allows our teams working globally to access the same assets in real time. I love the instant accessibility and connectivity, enabling immediate file playback. LucidLink's sharded media feature lets our post team start editing within minutes of ingesting files. Also, the installation process is super easy.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

I wish there was a view showing what has been pinned. As it is, one has to just keep it in mind and then unpin after a project is completed.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LucidLink for instant accessibility and connectivity, which allows our global teams to access the same media assets in real time. The software shards media which lets our post team edit files within minutes of ingesting, significantly speeding up our workflow.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink and Wasabi. We're glad to hear that our solution has provided instant accessibility and connectivity for your global teams, as well as streamlined your post-production workflow. **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sayar K. | Graduate Teaching Assistant, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I appreciate LucidLink's ability to work on the fly without downloading, which is crucial for our mostly remote team. I also value its zero-encrypted security for handling sensitive customer data. The integration with other media platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid is very useful because it allows us to create nice summaries or flyers for our clients based on their needs. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The pricing can be improved. Plus sometimes if internet is spotty there are issues with version controls.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LucidLink to collaborate on large projects without downloading, allowing my remote team to work seamlessly. Its zero-encrypted security safeguards sensitive data, and integration with media platforms streamlines creating client deliverables like summaries and flyers.

  ### 6. Seamless LucidLink + Premiere Pro Integration for Remote Team Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I loved being able to connect lucidlink to Premiere Pro and how they integrate. Makes it very easy to edit videos remotely and with a team. Especially since you don't have to download the footage and reconnect it with lucidlink. Support is great too if you have any issues

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The only downside is that you need pretty fast internet speeds when editing footage directly from the filespace but that's quite achievable with internet speeds nowadays. It wasn't too much of an issue

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lucidlink filled the gap the premiere pro had with remote video editing. You can edit videos directly from the filespace without having to wait long periods of time and using up computer space to download all of the footage and edit locally.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you love the seamless integration of LucidLink with Premiere Pro for remote team editing. Our goal is to make video editing as efficient as possible, and we're glad to hear that it's benefiting your team.

  ### 7. Revolutionized Team Collaboration, Minor Cache Drawback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis E. | Founder / Creative Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I use LucidLink to store files for me and my team all in one place. I really like being able to open and use files anywhere with internet, which means I don't have to lug so many drives around. Another thing I appreciate is that it's quick. The initial setup was very easy, and everything went smoothly.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

it stores large cache files on my computer, which is very annoying. I use LucidLink to reduce space needed on my drive and it adds it by storing a .store cache file on it.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LucidLink to store files centrally for my team, solving linked file issues in video editing. It allows access anywhere with internet, eliminating the need for drives. I like that it's quick.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you and your team are enjoying the benefits of using LucidLink for centralized file storage and easy access. We understand your concern about the cache files and we are constantly working to improve our system to minimize any drawbacks. Thank you for your feedback!

  ### 8. Seamless Cloud Collaboration, Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash M. | Senior Data Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I use LucidLink for fast cloud-based file sharing and collaboration across distributed teams. I love how seamlessly it makes cloud storage feel like a local drive. It's fast, easy to use, and saves a lot of time when collaborating on large files with distributed teams. I appreciate that LucidLink lets our team work on files in real time without waiting for uploads or downloads. It improves productivity, keeps everyone on the same version of files, and makes remote collaboration much smoother for large projects. We switched to LucidLink from traditional solutions because it offered faster access, easier remote collaboration, and a more seamless workflow for large files.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

One area where LucidLink could improve is occasional latency when working with very large files on slower internet connections. The initial setup and permissions management can also feel a bit complex for new users. LucidLink could improve onboarding by offering a more guided setup wizard, clearer documentation for first-time users, and simpler role-based permission templates. A more intuitive admin dashboard and better visibility into access controls would also make team management easier, especially for non-technical users. Configuring permissions, storage integrations, and onboarding team members took a bit more time and could be simplified further for new users.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LucidLink for fast cloud-based file sharing and collaboration, solving slow file access issues. It lets us work on large files directly from the cloud, improving productivity and remote collaboration without full downloads.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink. We understand your concerns about occasional latency with large files and the complexity of initial setup and permissions management. We are committed to enhancing our platform and will take your feedback into account as we continue to improve the user experience.

  ### 9. Seamless Remote Collaboration on Large Media Files with Strong Performance and Security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

The best thing about this lucid link platform s it how seamlessly it enables remote teams to work with large files directly from multiple channel cloud storage platform as if they were stored locally a streaming file system approaches genuinely impressive specifically for media heavy workflows involved in video editing, vfx, animation architecture and creative production. **What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Overall this platform has bit of a learning curve at the initial stage specifically for teams transitioning from traditional local storage or even Nas based environments their performance can also vary depending on Internet quality and bandwidth stability specifically one working with extremely large media files with inconsistent connectivity though this platform is extremely powerful for creative and enterprise collaboration workflows some smaller team with simple file sharing needs may find it more advanced than necessary cloud storage tools out there in the market.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform helps us solving one of the biggest operational challenges which is remote creative and protection teams on collaborating large files without maintaining expensive on premises infrastructure this platform also helps us by removing the friction of sinking terabytes of content between user and enabling teams to work from anywhere while still maintaining or centralised file access in a secured way this has improved or collaborations speed unreduced storage duplication.

It offloads footage I don't need as I move along, so I don't have to manually pin media for each project. It really streamlines the process for me, allowing me to hop in and out of different projects without having to go into Finder to pin and download footage manually each time.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

I don't have any dislikes at this time.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LucidLink for accessing media files across locations, which is crucial since I work remotely. It streamlines workflow by providing immediate access to necessary footage while offloading what's not needed, saving time on manual tasks.

  ### 11. Great service for working remotely in video production!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Korey P. | Owner / Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Removed the hassle of file management across a remote team. No syncing errors - it just mounts like a drive and everyone is always on the same version. Use it regularly for when I work with two companies. It has yet to let me down!

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Pretty solid service- maybe a way to work offline for those times when you have to keep working away from internet.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote access across a team of professionals while keeping files securely in the cloud

  ### 12. The best remote video editing tool, that does not require downloading so much hassles!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash P. | Associate Game Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

The most amazing thing about LucidLink is that it makes my laptop see and attach like the laptop has a 100TB hard disk drive plugged into it. In my video work, we have gigabit-sized files and even can remember a time when we had to wait hours downloading our files with both Google drive and dropbox. Under LucidLink I can just open up the file and immediately begin to edit in Premiere Pro. No synchronizing, no waiting. You make it a magical experience to your remote teams. The installation is extremely simple, my co-workers had installed it in less than 10 minutes.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

At some point where the internet connection is extremely slow or unstable in my area, I have noticed that there is some out-of-match playback in the video player. That is why you have to have a nice stable connection in case you are going to be working with 4K files. And also, it is an expensive one in case you are a small startup or a freelancer yourself this could make up a large proportion of your budget on a month-by-month basis. And another one as well, sometimes even right after the laptop goes to sleep it will disconnect and I have to re-open the app just to be able again see my files.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We resolve the Syncing Hell issue. The previous method was that one of the editors would start editing an older version of a file because the latest one was still being synchronized. Now we all collaborate in the same "Filespace. It simply saves us so much time since we need to have no download or upload, just as it is. It has made the remote working process very smooth, and we have the ability to recruit editors at any location since any location is equal as long as they have LucidLink.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that LucidLink has made such a positive impact on your video editing process, allowing for seamless collaboration and eliminating the need for time-consuming downloads. We appreciate your feedback about the occasional playback issues and connectivity concerns, and we're continuously working to improve the user experience. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

  ### 13. Simple, Plug-and-Play Storage for Creative Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan G. | Graphics Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Lucid Link is a great plug and play solution. It's simple and easy to use. It's a great solution for small teams who don't have a dedicated IT department.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Storage can get expensive if you are storing large files. You still need too keep large files locally in order for it to be affordable.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lucid helps make us cloud connected with our team and extended team members all across the country. We can all work seamlessly without missing a beat.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you find LucidLink to be a great plug-and-play solution that is simple and easy to use. It's great to know that it's benefiting your team and allowing seamless collaboration across the country.

  ### 14. Lucidlink Makes Daily File Sharing with Our China Team Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre M. | Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I use Lucidlink every day, so it’s very useful in my daily work for sharing files with my colleagues in China.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The user interface isn’t very intuitive at first, so it takes a bit of time to get used to.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves a lot of time when sharing folders and files with everyone, whether they’re in France or in China. Before, we used a very slow solution that wasn’t ergonomic at all, so this is a big improvement.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're happy to hear that LucidLink is saving you time and improving file sharing with your colleagues in different locations. Your feedback about the user interface is valuable, and we will use it to enhance the user experience.

  ### 15. Streamlined File Management with LucidLink

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SOUVIK C.

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I mainly use LucidLink for working with big project files without having to download everything again and again. I love how LucidLink streams files instead of syncing everything locally, which saves a lot of time, especially when files are heavy. It feels like I'm opening files directly like a local drive, even though they are actually in the cloud. This setup is much more convenient when working with other people because we don't have to keep sending updated versions, reducing confusion. The smart caching of LucidLink really stands out; once a file is opened, it loads much faster next time because it keeps parts of it locally. Another great feature is that it mounts like a normal drive, so tools like VS Code or even terminal scripts work without any special setup. It feels lighter compared to Google Drive or Dropbox sync, which often tries to sync everything and can slow down the system. With LucidLink, you're using what you need, which makes it much better for real-world work. I also appreciate how it eliminates the trouble of duplicate versions, as everything is in one place and updated live.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

One thing that doesn't always work great for me in LucidLink is how dependent it is on stable internet, like more than normal cloud tools. Since it's streaming files instead of syncing, if connection drops or gets slow, you feel it immediately. Also small thing but caching is not always predictable. Sometimes file I opened before loads instantly, other time it feels like it's fetching again. Maybe depends on cache limit or eviction but not very transparent from user side. Another part is offline usage. With synced tools, you at least have last version available offline. Here if you don't have internet, you're basically stuck.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LucidLink to work with large files without repeated downloads, streamlining our workflow and reducing confusion about file versions. It mounts like a local drive, avoiding duplicate storage and sync issues, which saves time. It's less resource-intensive than Google Drive and Dropbox in day-to-day use.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the seamless file streaming and smart caching features of LucidLink. We understand the importance of efficient file management for large projects, and we appreciate your feedback on the internet dependency and caching. We are continuously working to improve the user experience, including addressing these concerns. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

  ### 16. LucidLink has been a totally different way of working with files as a team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumail R. | Client Success Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Implementing LucidLink really changed how we handle files as a team. I finally said goodbye to the usual mess of synced folders. Before, using different storage tools, there was always some file that didn’t update or someone working on an old version without realizing it. Now I work directly in the shared space and you can really feel the difference, especially when reviewing heavy files. I don’t have to wait for full downloads anymore just to check something quickly. The file opens almost instantly because it only loads what I actually need at that moment. It’s one of those subtle changes that you really appreciate once you deal with it every day.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

I wouldn’t say I’ve had any major issues, but there are definitely a few things that could be smoother. For example, the initial setup can get a bit technical if you’re not very experienced. It’s not exactly a plug-and-play thing for everyone.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest win for me was when we centralized resources from different departments. Before that, each area kept their own copies and everything was totally inconsistent. Once we created a shared space in LucidLink, it wasn’t just the tech that changed, the culture shifted too. People stopped duplicating files and started trusting working directly on the original. On a project with tons of simultaneous revisions, where we normally would’ve ended up with five different versions floating around, we actually kept everything centralized and under control.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that LucidLink has helped streamline your team’s workflow, reduce version conflicts, and improve collaboration by centralizing files in one shared space. It’s great to know that instant access to large files has made a noticeable difference in your daily work!

We also appreciate your note about the initial setup and understand that it may feel technical for some users. Your feedback is valuable as we continue to improve the user experience.

  ### 17. Your files in the cloud, but with the speed of your local drive!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yauhen D. | Senior Fullstask Developer , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

The first time I tried LucidLink was honestly out of pure need. My team was drowning in huge files and a total mess of duplicate versions. What really won me over is that it’s not the typical cloud storage where you have to wait forever for everything to sync. I can literally work with my files like they’re on my own computer, but without taking up space or wasting time downloading stuff. They’ve improved it a lot over time too, adding creative integrations and security features like snapshots that give you real peace of mind.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

That said, let’s be real, it’s not magic. Like anything cloud-based, if your internet connection gets shaky, you’ll feel it. It’s not really a flaw of the tool itself, but it can definitely affect your workflow if your network isn’t stable.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The real change for me happened on a project that was a logistical nightmare. Folders everywhere, heavy attachments flying around in emails. Once I moved everything to a shared space in LucidLink, that friction basically disappeared. We were all editing the same files in real time, no downloads first. It wasn’t some loud, dramatic change, more like a quiet improvement that gave us back our workflow and took away that constant fear of working on the wrong version.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink! We're thrilled to hear that our solution has helped streamline your team's workflow and improve collaboration on projects. We understand the importance of efficient file management and are delighted that our cloud-speed technology has made a difference for you.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the impact of internet connection stability on the tool's performance. We are continuously working to enhance our platform. Thank you for choosing LucidLink!

I really like how LucidLink operates once it's set up. It's just a folder on my computer that updates automatically, removing much of the manual work and friction in collaboration because I don't even have to think about it. As soon as someone else closes their project, I can jump into it straight away, which allows us to work quickly and collaborate efficiently. The initial setup is easy, just a few clicks to make a file space, and it's quite easy to add new users as well.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

It seems like the Mac version has more issues where people sometimes can't connect properly or their cache folder keeps getting emptied even though they pinned files the previous day. And working between Mac and PC still seems to have some issues. The system for pinning is very bad as there's no way to prioritise uploads and downloads. If I am uploading 200gb and want to just quickly save my tiny 3mb project for someone else to use, I have to wait for the whole 200gb upload before that tiny file uploads, which is annoying! The premiere pro plugin is buggy and doesn't often work to allow people to use the cache ranges feature (especially on mac)

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink allows us to collaborate in real-time and change editors between projects easily, eliminating the need for manual file sharing. It removes friction from collaboration, enabling quick project transitions and efficient teamwork.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you find LucidLink easy to use and that it has improved collaboration for you. We apologize for the issues you've experienced with the Mac version and the file pinning system. We are constantly working to improve our product and appreciate your feedback.

  ### 19. Quick and Reliable Connection for Remote Team Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fred S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I like the stability and reliability of LucidLink, we almost never have problems or downtime. The connection is very fast for uploading and downloading large video files, allowing teams to work together as if they were in the same room. I also consider the ease of registering, installing, and configuring as a great benefit.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Missing link for external users (who are not on the team). It would make our lives much easier, without having to rely on external tools (Frame.io).

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink facilitates remote work among teams and solves local storage and cloud backup issues. It offers stability, speed in connection for uploading and downloading large files, and allows working in the cloud as if we were in the same room.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find LucidLink stable, reliable, and fast for uploading and downloading large video files. We're constantly working to improve our service, and we appreciate your feedback about the missing link for external users. Good news: link sharing for outside reviewers has since launched, so that gap you mentioned is now covered — would love for you to try it out.

  ### 20. Stream Massive Media Files Like a Local Drive—Fast, Secure, and Storage-Smart

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

What I like best about LucidLink is that it lets me stream massive media files straight from the cloud as if they were sitting on a local drive—no waiting for full downloads before I can start cutting. For my FX3 S-Log3 footage, which piles up fast on corporate shoots, that's a genuine time-saver. I can drop a client's raw files into the filespace and be scrubbing them in Premiere Pro within minutes instead of babysitting a sync.
As a solo operator serving financial clients, the on-demand caching is the real win: I only pull down the bytes I'm actively working with, so I'm not burning local storage or bandwidth hoarding entire projects. Performance stays snappy even on large timelines, and the security model gives me something concrete to point to when a bank's IT team asks how their footage is being handled. It's quietly become the backbone of how I move projects around without a full NAS setup.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

My biggest gripe is performance consistency. LucidLink is fantastic when your connection is strong, but on hotel Wi-Fi or a weaker uplink at a client site, scrubbing S-Log3 footage in Premiere Pro can stutter or force me to wait on the cache to catch up. For time-sensitive corporate turnarounds, that variability is nerve-wracking—I've learned to pre-warm the cache before a session rather than trust it live.
The other downside is cost predictability as a solo operator. The pricing scales in a way that's easy to justify when you're actively on a project, but it stings during slower months when the filespace is mostly sitting idle. I'd love more granular controls over local cache size and clearer visibility into what's driving egress, plus a lighter "archive" tier for projects I need to keep but rarely touch. None of this outweighs the core benefit, but the performance dip on weak networks is the thing I'd most want to see tightened up.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before LucidLink, moving footage between my field kit and edit bay meant either shuttling physical drives or waiting hours for large project files to sync through a consumer cloud service before I could touch them. As a solo operator serving banks like Comerica and Fifth Third, that dead time was eating into already-tight turnaround windows, and juggling drive handoffs added real risk of a misplaced client asset.
Now I drop everything into a single filespace and start editing in Premiere Pro almost immediately, streaming only the media I actually need. It plugs directly into my existing Adobe workflow, so there's no export/import dance—the filespace just behaves like a mounted drive. Practically, it's cut my project setup time from a half-day of syncing down to minutes, eliminated the cost and hassle of shipping drives, and lets me collaborate with the occasional remote colorist without duplicating terabytes of data. For a one-person shop, that reclaimed time is the difference between taking on another project a month or not, which more than covers the subscription cost.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink! We're glad to hear that the ability to stream massive media files directly from the cloud has been a time-saver for your corporate shoots. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to work on improving performance consistency, especially in weaker network environments. Your input on cost predictability and granular controls is valuable and will be taken into consideration for future enhancements.

  ### 21. Effortless Remote Work with Instant File Access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I love how LucidLink allows instant file access without the need to download large files completely. The byte-level change uploads are fantastic, making syncing quick and enabling remote work seamlessly. The implementation was extremely easy, and the LucidLink team was very helpful in answering my questions before switching. LucidLink works well with Adobe Suite, Cinema 4D, and Vectorworks, which was a major factor in choosing it. The setup was very easy; LucidLink helped set up our storage and assisted in migrating our data from local storage to LucidLink.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

You can't create new folders in the web browser, which would be very useful when creating new access folders. Also, you can't share files externally unless you are an admin, which is inconvenient as no one is an admin user for security reasons.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink allows us to work from any location with near local file speed, eliminating slow VPN connections. It offers instant file access and quick syncing by uploading only the byte-level changes, saving time and enabling efficient remote work.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that LucidLink is helping you work remotely with near local file speed and efficient syncing. We're committed to providing a seamless experience and will continue to enhance our platform to better meet your needs.

  ### 22. Reliable but Limited by Platform Compatibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I like that LucidLink has generally been reliable and fairly fast, which is important because we work with very large files and need a stable system. I also appreciate the good support, advice, and assistance we received during the initial setup, making it easy to get started.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

We are currently using Lucidlink Classic, having been an early adopter of the software. The inability to easily port to the current LucidLink, and currently being unable to access files it from Mac devices like iPads and IPhones is a signficant issue. This may prevent us from continuing to use LucidLink in the near future. We feel it is unfair that as an early supporter of Lucidlink, we have been somewhat forgotten and neglected.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink lets us avoid on-site data storage and manages all backups. It’s reliable and fairly fast, which is crucial for our workflows with very large files, providing a stable and fast system.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and for being an early LucidLink adopter — we genuinely value that history with you.

We're glad to hear the platform has held up well for your large-file workflows and that our support team made a strong first impression during setup.

We also hear you on the frustration with migrating off LucidLink Classic, and we're sorry it's made you feel neglected as a long-time customer — that's never our intent, especially with someone who's been with us from the early days. The newer version does address the mobile access gaps you mentioned (including iPhone/iPad support), and our support team can walk you through the transition path step by step.

Please reach out to our support team whenever you're ready — they can help make the move as smooth as possible and make sure nothing falls through the cracks this time.

Thanks again for the honest feedback and for sticking with us this long.

  ### 23. Lucidlink Delivers Fast, Flexible Cloud Performance with Valuable SSO

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Lucidlink gave us an ideal cloud solution that provides great performance whether the user is in the office, working from home or on the road. Also supporting SSO is a feature we always value and look for when evaluating solutions.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

We occasionally have to re-establish the authentication to the client. Not being able to share a link to outside users for review. I believe this is a feature that is in development.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink seamlessly supports our hybrid workforce, enabling users to work efficiently from the office, home, or on the road. Its fast and reliable performance along with an easy user experience have made it an excellent solution for our organization.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful review! We're glad LucidLink is supporting your hybrid team so well, and that performance and SSO are hitting the mark.
Good news: link sharing for outside reviewers has since launched, so that gap you mentioned is now covered — would love for you to try it out.
We hear you on the re-authentication friction too, and it's on our radar for improvement.
Thanks for being a LucidLink customer!

  ### 24. Secure, User-Friendly File Management with Seamless Remote Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beatrice R. | IT manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

The platform is an ideal tool for most organisations because it offers secure file management, with zero-knowledge encryption that ensures complete privacy, control, and confidentiality when accessing sensitive data files. The software also impresses me with its clean interface, so users face little to no steep learning curve and can use it easily. In addition, its stability in handling heavy files and its seamless remote access help keep work synchronised effortlessly each day for modern distributed teams worldwide.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

One downside of the platform is the lack of a built-in cloud backup feature, which would make data protection simpler and minimise the extra effort required to manage backups externally. Even so, it’s a significant tool for real-time access to complex files.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lucidlink addresses the problem of slow, cumbersome, and insecure file sharing by providing instant access to large files, enabling real-time collaboration, and ensuring complete data privacy through zero-knowledge encryption, which helps keep work both safe and efficient. The platform allows users to streamline workflows by keeping assets in a single, unified place, and it safeguards the file system so users can access what they need easily while restricting resources to authorised individuals only.

**Official Response from Teodora Baldzhieva:**

> Thank you for your feedback on the clean interface and stability of LucidLink. We take pride in providing a user-friendly experience and efficient handling of heavy files for our customers.

  ### 25. Game Changer for Creative Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica H. | Manager, Creative Services, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

My team can reliably and quickly access our files from anywhere we have an internet connection. Even when working on tradeshow booth layouts and video editing, the team has been able to keep projects moving both in and out of the office. And, in instances where we have encountered issues, the support team at Lucid has been great. Super responsive and diligent - always getting us up and sprinting in no time.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Most of the issues we have experienced with the system have been due to monitoring apps that our corporate IT team has installed on the network - some of which were unknown to us until we encountered an issue. In those instances, the Lucid team has always made time to connect with our IT folks and help troubleshoot a solution.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Lucid, we had an on-prem storage rack that could only be accessed when in the building. If a team member needed the flexibility to work from home, they would have to download files onto their laptop or a removable drive before being away. If something came up unannounced and they couldn't come in, or if a file change was needed on something they didn't already download, we were out of luck. Additionally, the materials and staffing costs of maintaining an on-premises server stack, as well as the infrastructure required to provide everyone with a decent connection, were immense.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We appreciate your feedback and are pleased to hear that LucidLink has solved the challenges of accessing files remotely and has reduced the costs associated with maintaining on-premises storage. We're committed to providing reliable support and solutions for your team's needs.

  ### 26. Seamless, Fast Collaboration on Large Creative Files—A Workflow Game-Changer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

What we like best about LucidLink is how seamlessly it fits into our day to day workflow without forcing our team to change how they work. As a marketing agency managing large creative files across designers, strategists, and external partners, speed and accessibility are critical. LucidLink gives our team the ability to open and work from files instantly without the delays of traditional cloud syncing or the headaches of version control.

The biggest difference for us has been collaboration. Our creative team can work on the same file structure in real time, whether they are in the office or remote, and it feels like everyone is connected to the same local server. That alone has eliminated hours of file transfers and reduced operational friction across projects.

Performance has been excellent, especially when working with large assets like video, high resolution graphics, and web design files. Setup was straightforward, and once implemented, it quickly became a foundational part of our infrastructure rather than “just another tool.”

If there is one area we are excited to see continue evolving, it would be even deeper administrative visibility and reporting so leadership can better understand usage patterns and storage behavior across teams. That said, the platform is already incredibly strong and continues to improve.

LucidLink has helped us scale more efficiently while keeping our team agile, and it has become a critical part of how we deliver work to our clients.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

One area we would love to see continue improving is administrative insight and reporting. As our team scales, having more granular visibility into user activity, storage trends, and workspace utilization would help leadership plan more proactively and optimize how we structure projects.

There can also be a small learning curve for team members who are used to traditional cloud storage platforms. However, once they understand how LucidLink functions, adoption becomes very natural.

Beyond that, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The platform is reliable, fast, and clearly built with modern, distributed teams in mind. Most of what we’d like to see are enhancements rather than fixes, which speaks to the strength of the product overall.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink is solving one of the biggest operational challenges for modern agencies: fast, reliable access to large files without the delays, duplication, and version confusion that often come with traditional storage solutions.

Before implementing LucidLink, our team spent unnecessary time downloading files, re uploading assets, managing duplicate versions, and troubleshooting access issues across remote and in office employees. Those inefficiencies add up quickly in a fast paced environment where speed matters to both our team and our clients.

Now, our team can work from a single, centralized file system in real time. Projects move faster, collaboration is smoother, and we have significantly reduced the risk of version errors. It has also strengthened our ability to support a hybrid workforce without compromising performance or security.

From a leadership perspective, the benefit is scalability. LucidLink allows us to grow our team and client workload without worrying that our file infrastructure will become a bottleneck. Instead of managing storage logistics, our team stays focused on delivering high quality work.

Ultimately, LucidLink has helped us operate more efficiently, collaborate more effectively, and build a technology foundation that supports our long term growth.

**Official Response from Teodora Baldzhieva:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink. We understand the importance of administrative insight and reporting, and we are committed to providing more granular visibility into user activity and workspace utilization. We're glad to hear that our platform has helped your team operate more efficiently and collaborate more effectively.

  ### 27. Simplifies Editing Collaboration, Needs Better Update Communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake T. | Creative Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2023

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I really like LucidLink's ease of use. I find that adding editors quickly is a helpful feature. I also appreciate being able to work offline, and I’ve noticed that even with a slow Internet connection, it doesn't really make a difference thanks to the local cache. It's so quick.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Honestly, the communication and the delay of crucial updates, like new features, have been the most frustrating part. I mean, they've been promising this new update since November, actually, September 2024 right. 2025. And, you know, that was, what, six months ago at this point? And they're not updating us about that. I really want some of those new features on the updated platform, and they don't seem to care much about helping us upgrade. Also, the setup process is kind of annoying, especially on a Mac, because you have to go into the settings to reduce security, which is kind of airy, honestly. It's a painful setup process.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink solves the problem of having multiple editors in different locations, eliminating the need to ship or share hard drives and expensive servers. It ensures no missing footage and allows offline work without being affected by slow internet.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that LucidLink has been a dream for your team of editors! We appreciate your feedback on the benefits of cloud-based footage, integrated folder management, and user controls. We understand that slow internet speeds can be frustrating at times, and we're continuously working to optimize performance. If you ever encounter any issues, please reach out to our support team so we can assist you promptly. Thank you for choosing LucidLink to streamline your editing workflow and eliminate the need for expensive servers. Your success is our top priority, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

  ### 28. Great file storage for collaborating team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie C. | Digital Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2024

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Once set up LucidLink is great for storing our files on the cloud so they're accessible at all times. We have a large number of projects and assets and the speed is great when uploading and accessing projects compared to our previous set up. For a small team like us the price is great for what you get

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The only thing I think LucidLink might be missing is a way to share a specific file/folder location with someone externally as we would currently have to create a new user and get them to install LucidLink on their own computer. There are times we need to share large amounts of assets with an external source once off, we end up having to use other means to provide the files, but I appreciate this might not be the easiest to implement currently

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us store our project files so we can access them at the workplace and home/on the go. Its very quick when setting up new projects and managing assets and collaborating

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your experience with LucidLink! We're thrilled to hear that our platform has been a great fit for your collaborating team's file storage needs.

It's fantastic to know that once set up, LucidLink provides seamless access to your files on the cloud, with excellent speed for uploading and accessing projects. We're delighted that our platform offers great value for your small team, considering the number of projects and assets you manage.

We understand the importance of sharing specific file/folder locations externally, and we're actively working on improving our product to make inviting external collaborators easier. While it's not currently a feature, please rest assured that it's on our roadmap as we continue to enhance our platform's capabilities.

  ### 29. Streamlined Asset Management with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I use LucidLink for asset creation, transfers, review, editing, and collaborating. I like its speed, ease of use, and reliability. The ease of configuration and folder-specific access, along with features like workspaces for viewing and editing, bring value by protecting assets and ensuring the right people have the right access. This prevents unexpected changes and saves time, rework, and money on recreating or retrieving assets. Initial setup was very easy and quick, especially with their support.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Even better performance for larger file types and large volume quantity, more compatible with other asset creating platforms and softwares, not just documents or basic images. More integrations with other platforms to allow users to stay with the asset creation tool, this will improve efficiency as a whole.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink solves asset accessibility issues, enabling real-time, multi-location editing, approvals, and eliminates the need for hard drives with secure backups. It saves time, reduces rework, and prevents unexpected changes, protecting assets by ensuring the right access.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that LucidLink has been instrumental in streamlining your asset management process. Our team is dedicated to providing a reliable and user-friendly experience, and we're glad to hear that you found the initial setup to be easy and quick.

  ### 30. Great UI and helpful support, but lag and connectivity issues hold it back

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I think the idea of LucidLink is better than the actual product. I'm sure it'll change over the years as technology gets better, but the amount of issues myself and my team had to deal with on a daily basis trying to edit somewhat basic projects (even going so far as to upgrade internet on multiple ends) it didn't function good enough.

Aside from that, everything else is pretty great. It's UI / UX works great, itit integrates nicely on Mac in terms of uploading, etc.

The pricing is slightly steep, but if you keep the archival footage on a separate hard drive or NAS and only use LucidLink for active projects, it's not bad.

The support Slack, the few times I used it, was extremely helpful for resolving issues

Haven't used anything AI related with LucidLink.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

To make it straightforward, it's quite literally the connectivity issues and lag. Implemented everything the support recommended including better internet, proxies, etc.

That's really about it. In the perfect world, it's actually the best tool ever

And, at least when I was using it, it would be better with a desktop app to access and share files/projects from

Also having something like Frame built in (like Shade.inc) is doing would be a massive plus

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I was using LucidLink, it was mainly helping with not having to deal with upload times.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about the connectivity issues and lag you experienced. We are constantly working to improve our product and address these concerns. Your input will help us in our efforts to provide a better user experience.

  ### 31. Intuitive Local Drive Mount Makes File Management Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I really appreciate that it removes the need for a clunky web interface. Since it mounts directly as a local drive on my machine, managing files feels completely intuitive. I can drag, drop, and organise everything using my native OS, without having to worry about storage overhead.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The pricing structure can be quite steep, particularly if you are a smaller team or an independent contractor trying to manage massive amounts of data compared to other syncing services.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to struggle to keep massive audio sessions, stream graphics, and raw photography in sync across remote collaborators. Having to wait for gigabytes of media to download just to make a quick edit or review a mix became a major bottleneck. Now, with LucidLink, my co-founder and I can open heavy project files almost instantly, as if they were sitting on our local drives. As a result, we’re saving at least 3–4 hours a week on sync time and can push out live broadcasts and content much faster, without constantly having to clear space on our local hard drives.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you find LucidLink's local drive mount intuitive and effortless for file management. We strive to provide a seamless user experience for our customers.

  ### 32. Streamlined Remote Workflow with Minor Upload Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

The biggest thing for me is that with remote work, LucidLink has allowed me not to have to deal with drives constantly, which was always a hassle. I've recently moved outside the city, so now I'm able to get on people's servers and work without waiting for a drive, which has helped the workflow overall. The cache system seems to work well too—playback once cached is pretty clean, and things cache pretty quickly, allowing the job to usually go smoothly.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The big thing for me is when I'm loading things back to clients, I don't ever really get a clear ETA on when they'll get things. Also, one thing that's kind of annoying is people will see that there's files on the server, but they're not actually there yet. They're still uploading. Then I can't even really give them an exact estimate because it shows you what's left and not how the speed is going.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find LucidLink great for working remotely. It allows me to access servers directly, which improves workflow by eliminating the need for constant drive exchanges. The cache system works well, making playback in DaVinci Resolve smooth once cached.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that LucidLink has helped streamline your remote workflow and improve your overall productivity. We appreciate your feedback about the upload process and will take it into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 33. Easy, Seamless File Sync That Saves a Ton of Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritesh K. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

It’s easy and seamless, and it saves a ton of time when syncing files.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

I didn't find anything unusual yet that I didn't like. Just sometimes, it doesn't connect properly on the first try if its mac, while main user has made file path in windows.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncing with the team! It's just beautiful!
Saves so much of time with the file sharing and no chance of file corruption, especially for my video creations.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink! We're thrilled to hear that it's helping you save time and improve file syncing with your team. We'll take note of the connection issue you mentioned and strive to enhance the user experience.

  ### 34. Revolutionized Our Multinational Team's Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I appreciate LucidLink because it lets us work on the same project across three different countries as if we're in the same building, and it can be faster than past experiences of working on the same network in the same building. What I like most about LucidLink is its rapid response, making it feel like I'm dealing with local storage while it updates the cloud version in the background, keeping all production drives on team machines updated. Additionally, I found LucidLink's tools very user-friendly, making the setup process easy for me due to my previous network administration experience.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

I think that LucidLink could be improved in terms of having more real-time control over bandwidth and in terms of file prioritizing. Also, I could have done with a slightly better walkthrough during setup. If I didn't previously have network administration experience, maybe it would have been a little bit complicated to set up.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bridging distance and enabling remote working.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that LucidLink has revolutionized your multinational team's workflow and that you find our service to be rapid and user-friendly. We appreciate your feedback on areas for improvement and will take your suggestions into consideration for future updates.

  ### 35. Convenient Anywhere Access with Stable, Fast Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

LucidLink is highly stable and extremely convenient. It has been a game changer for my team that is constantly traveling or working remote. It really makes no difference where they are working, they always have access to our files with no reduction in performance.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

I do like that personnel with admin rights can share entire files to make file sharing to other companies easy. However, I wish that standard users could be allowed permission to share folders as well, even if it required a password from an admin.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink has solved our issue of relying on VPN and Connectwise which were slow and inconsistent. This has boosted our productivity and employee happiness greatly.

**Official Response from Teodora Baldzhieva:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink! We're thrilled to hear that you find it convenient, stable, and fast for accessing your work files anywhere. We apologize for the inconvenience of occasional disconnections on your laptop. Our team is constantly working to improve the user experience, and we appreciate your feedback.

  ### 36. Effortless Video Collaboration Like a Shared Hard Drive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I like the ease of use and of sharing content. It works just like a hard drive, so everyone knows how to use it. It's also fast with a decent internet connection, and there's so much that it helps with. It's great for transferring footage to editors and finishing projects when an editor is out of office or unavailable, plus it solves our long term storage needs. We had a tight deadline on a project and one of our editors was out, so we needed another editor to hop on and start the edit, and then the original editor was able to finish it. I also chose it for the cost and the amount of storage. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and we had assistance with every step.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

{"I find that sometimes the speed struggles with larger projects.","I've noticed that pinning doesn't always seem to work. I will pin footage, and it will still take a long time to load.","It can be annoying needing to make proxies for every project."}

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team uses LucidLink to edit and store video content. It solves transferring footage to editors, finishing projects when an editor is out or unavailable, and long-term storage. It's easy to use and share, works just like a hard drive, and is fast with a decent internet connection.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that LucidLink has been instrumental in meeting your tight project deadlines and facilitating seamless collaboration among your team. We appreciate your feedback and are continuously working to improve the speed and performance for larger projects.

  ### 37. Lucid Link: Near-Instant Sharing for Remote, Multi-User Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim F. | Video Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Lucid Link is great for a remote project with multiple users. It allows almost instant sharing of outputs for clients.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

I don’t have a large boot drive and initially LucidLink took up 70 gigs and left me with little space. I then learned you can set the cache onto another drive and reduce LL footprint on your boot drive to a minimum

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Immediate access to uploaded footage for the editor and outputs for the client

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with LucidLink! We're glad to hear that it has been great for remote projects with multiple users and allows for almost instant sharing of outputs for clients.

  ### 38. Instant Access to Raw Footage for Remote Editors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I use LucidLink for my remote video editors, who edit a whole bunch of raw footage through it. What I like most is that it makes sharing raw footage and large files very, very fast. With Dropbox and other file sharing services, remote editors could take a day overnight to two days to download footage, but with LucidLink you can access it instantly. It's very easy to use, very intuitive, and cost effective. I don't really use any specific tools within it, I just like the functionality of sharing files very quickly. I use it alongside video editing programs like DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro. We switched from Dropbox and WeTransfer, with WeTransfer being our primary tool, and we moved to LucidLink because of speed and the ease of collaboration. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

{"The one thing that I would make clearer is how much you are being charged for the month if you remove or add storage space.","I think the prorated amount shows up. It's very confusing. It's small.","I wish there was a way when you added files it gave you a pop up with the additional amount to be charged almost as a notification."}

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink makes sharing raw footage and large files very fast for my remote video editors. With Dropbox or other services it could take a day or two to download footage, but with LucidLink you can access it instantly. It's easy to use, intuitive, and cost effective.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink! We're glad to hear that our service has made sharing raw footage and large files very fast for your remote video editors. We appreciate your feedback about the clarity of our pricing and will take it into consideration for future improvements.

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

It works as advertised. I can seamlessly move from the office to home or any other location and continue working on my projects in the cloud.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

As the admin for the account, getting people signed up and on board can be a challenge. It is a little confusing

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working as a global team. With members in various offices around the world we have all real time access to our projects to work on together.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

I use LucidLink for file organization and storage in the cloud, and it's great for letting others access my files easily. It makes storing and organizing files easy and simple. I love that the upload speeds are fast and that I can view files instantly without having to download them. What stands out most is the simple UI interface and the seamless feeling that LucidLink is just an extension of my desktop file system. It's incredibly fast and easy to use for cloud file storage. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Does exactly what I need it to do, and what was advertised

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink makes storing and organizing files easy and simple. The fast upload speeds and instant file viewing without downloading are amazing. The simple UI feels like a seamless extension of my desktop, and it's easy to use for cloud file storage.

  ### 41. Native Mac Integration and Smooth Workflow

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

I really appreciate how well it integrates with my Mac. The UI is easy enough to use, and once I connect and it shows up as a folder, the whole experience feels completely native. The workflow feels natural, almost as if I were editing locally.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

This isn’t necessarily a problem with LucidLink; it may have been more about how our team set things up. That said, I did run into some weird account issues a while back.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's a great way to upload large quantities or qualities of files — I use it for video editing and it's been useful in collaboration across multiple users

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you find LucidLink's integration with Mac smooth and the workflow natural. We strive to provide a seamless experience for all our users.

  ### 42. Simple, reliable, and clearly the future of creative workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | Creative Tech Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

- The user interface is simple and easy to navigate, and it’s great even for those who are less tech-savvy.
- It’s reliable and works consistently — our creative team use it everyday.
- Files stored on LucidLink load really fast.
- Integration with File Explorer and Finder makes it extremely convenient to use, especially the menu items like Pin and Share link.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

It’s more expensive than competitors like Shade. It would be amazing if it included basic asset management features. The file pinning feature is good, but I can’t truly use it offline because I still need to mount the file space while online first before I can see any of my files, including the pinned ones.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve reduced storage costs, and we’re also wasting far less time uploading and downloading files, since staff can now access large files much faster.

**Official Response from Teodora Baldzhieva:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive feedback on LucidLink! We're thrilled to hear that you find our platform simple, reliable, and fast for your creative workflows. We appreciate your suggestions for improvement and will take them into consideration for future updates.

  ### 43. Game-changing file storage for video editors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben H. | Strategy and Operations Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

LucidLink's block-level streaming technology is an incredible boon for video editors looking to share large files. We can collaborate as a team on footage as soon as it starts uploading to the drive, and we have been able to utilize our own Cloud Storage platforms that scale with us as needed. This is so much better than an on-prem server, requires less maintenance, and allows editors from all over the world to access our footage.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

There is not much to dislike, other than latency issues on slow internet connections. This is to be expected, and can be mitigated by pinning particular folders to your cache if your connection is slow. Overall this limitation is expected with the technology.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink is helping our distributed team collaborate on files for video editing purposes to editors that are thousands of miles away from our studio.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with LucidLink, Ben!

It's amazing to hear that our block-level streaming technology has been a game-changer for your team's collaboration on large video files. We appreciate your feedback on the latency issues and understand the impact slow internet connections can have. Your suggestion of pinning folders to the cache is a great workaround. We're constantly working to improve our services and address any challenges our users may encounter. If you have any further feedback or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to support you and ensure your editing process continues to run smoothly.

  ### 44. Seamless setup made remote video editing collaboration painless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

The ease of use stands out the most. I work in video editing, and getting a distributed team set up to work off the same media without the usual sync headaches was surprisingly simple. Setup itself was fabulous — I was up and running quickly without needing a long onboarding process or heavy IT involvement.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

pricing feels on bit of higher end as compard to other competitors

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's let our editing team access and work with large media files without the delays or version-control issues that come from traditional file transfer or sync tools. That's made remote collaboration on video projects much smoother day to day.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that LucidLink has made remote video editing collaboration painless for you! We appreciate your feedback about the ease of use and seamless setup. We understand your concern about pricing and are constantly working to provide the best value for our customers. Thank you for sharing your experience!

  ### 45. Easy, Plug-and-Play Service That Fits Seamlessly into the Adobe Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Motion Pictures and Film | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

It’s pretty easy to use and navigate, and it integrates nicely into my workflow with the Adobe suite. I’ve run into some buggy buffering and caching issues, but there have always been workarounds.

The price is good overall, but if you need extra storage, the costs get insanely high. I also haven’t had to use support yet, since it was easy to onboard myself and my team—it felt like a straight out-of-the-box, plug-and-play type of service. I wasn’t aware there was AI integration.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

the buggy caching issues that we sometimes encounter

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

solves the issue of sharing footage with my video editing partners around the globe

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that LucidLink has seamlessly integrated into your Adobe workflow and made it easy to share footage with your team. We apologize for the buffering and caching issues you've experienced and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the service. Regarding the pricing, we understand your concern and are constantly evaluating our pricing structure to provide the best value for our customers.

  ### 46. Efficient Global Collaboration, But Needs Improvement in Connection

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rocio T. | editor de videos, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

What I like most about LucidLink is that it allows you to work on the same platform and share content with people from various countries. I had never known before that you could have a platform where you can share work in this way, and honestly, I was surprised and pleased that it exists.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Sometimes LucidLink crashes when I use heavy programs like Premiere or After Effects. It's not just a problem for me, but also for my work group. This happens especially with heavy programs, which should be improved to prevent the programs from closing unexpectedly. Although it has happened to me a few times personally, it happens more often to my colleagues.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LucidLink makes collaboration easier by allowing us all to work on the same platform, regardless of being in different countries. It solves connection issues and improves teamwork.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that LucidLink has made collaboration easier for your team. The ability to work fluidly with files is one of the key benefits of our platform.

**Reviewed by:** Finlay M. | Assistant Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

The ease in which I can work collaboratively on Premier Pro projects with freelancers.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Sometimes freelancers can't tell if something has finished uploading or not

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborative working on Adobe projects and as a general file space everyone can access remotely with very little setup no matter where they are. Also allow studios to upload footage and we can start editing instantly.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you find LucidLink's collaborative features helpful for working on Premiere Pro projects with freelancers.

  ### 48. Seamless Remote Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

LucidLink makes remote collaborative work run seamlessly!

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

Personally, I haven't found a downside to LucidLink. It's the only tool we have found that lets us work the way we want to work.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team wasn't satisfied with any of the other offerings we were using to manage our workflow. Other services took much longer to update, and would sometimes write over work that had already been done, losing us days of work. LucidLink lets us hand off documents immediately with no wait time, and we love having a backup in case something were to go wrong.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're thrilled to hear that LucidLink is helping your team collaborate seamlessly and efficiently!

  ### 49. Seamless Workflow and Top-Tier File Management, But Pricey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph R. | Video Production Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

Lucidlink makes my workflow seamless. There are very little headaches for me as a video editor worse than trying to constantly hunt down media, and stay connected whether I'm at home, at the office, or on the move. I love how Lucidlink allows you to work easily, without need for hardware or extensive setups.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

The only real con to Lucidlink for me is the price. It is very expensive, but you get what you pay for which is the gold standard of file management.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to access media quickly and efficiently among a team of editors.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're pleased to hear that LucidLink has enabled you to access media quickly and efficiently, benefiting your team of editors. We understand that pricing is an important consideration, and we appreciate your feedback. We're constantly working to provide the best value for our customers.

  ### 50. Fast, Straightforward File Sharing Across Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about LucidLink?**

It’s easy to upload and download files and share them with multiple team members in different locations. Upload speeds are faster than I expected, and the application is straightforward to use.

**What do you dislike about LucidLink?**

I wish there were access to more storage space. It feels limited in terms of the file sizes you’re able to upload.

**What problems is LucidLink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of waiting hours to upload files and then generate a link to share with others, Lucid link helps me upload quickly and give other team members access in much less time. The support team is also helpful whenever I have questions.

**Official Response from LucidLink Marketing:**

> We're glad to hear that you find LucidLink easy to use and that it has helped improve your file sharing process. We appreciate your feedback about the storage space limitation, and we will take it into consideration for future improvements.
