This tool can do everything! I got it set up in minutes, love that there's no waste (most swag gets thrown out) and that the person getting the gift actually felt valued. **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** Nothing so far. The dashboards are helpful to see the current status of the gifts and I can check in with people easily if the email address I have for them is wrong. I always felt so awkward asking for personal home addresses and L&T solves that! **What problems is Loop & Tie solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have to ask for home addresses It's sustabinable It helps build relationships I got it set up and running in about 5 minutes Love that it also collects thank yous from people! ### 2. Unique gifts that give back! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Kendra C. | Senior Program Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2023 **What do you like best about Loop & Tie?** I used Loop & Tie for the first time this past December to send some holiday gifts to colleagues of mine, and I have to say, I'm really impressed for a few different reasons. First, the gifts in the various Loop & Tie collections are more unique and elevated than other gifting companies. I went searching for a new company to go through because I was tired of the usual suspects available on other gifting platforms I'd previously used - movie night themes complete with popcorn and bowl, luxury candle and chocolate combos, cute tumblers plus tea bags. All lovely gifts, but they seem to circulate a lot, at least where I work, so I wanted to offer something a little different. The gifts that my colleagues ultimately selected for themselves through Loop & Tie included: an air fryer, handmade Morrocan glassware, a ceramic baking dish, a nice bottle of bubbles, a Mexican citrus juicer, a wine chiller, and a succulent garden, to name a few. It was really interesting seeing what everyone selected, and there was something for everyone. Gifting through Loop & Tie felt more personal than the other options available. It seemed like my colleagues could choose items that felt special to them - things they actually wanted. For that reason, I didn't want to have to pre-select a gift for my colleagues - it was important to me to find a company that allowed the recipients to select a gift for themselves. I love that Loop & Tie allows you to select a collection of gifts at a certain price point, which your recipients can then choose from. They're not the only company that has this option, but a lot of gifting companies don't, and I think it's essential. It also means you don't have to go to the effort of personally collecting addresses for your recipients, which they may not even want to share with you. Your recipient simply enters their own shipping address after selecting their gift. Another thing I really like about Loop & Tie is the account dashboard view you have access to as the gift-giver, which gives you data and analytics on your gifting. For instance, it tells you how many people have opened the email for their gift, how many people have redeemed their gift, which gifts they've selected and whether they've been shipped and delivered. It also tells you how many recipients have sent back thank you notes (another nice function built-in with Loop & Tie), when automatic reminders are scheduled to go out to those who haven't chosen a gift yet, and what your gifting impact has been. This leads me to my last and biggest point of praise for Loop & Tie, which is that giving back is built into how they do business and their value system. Loop & Tie plants one tree for every gift given, and the dashboard displays that impact right at the top of your view - for instance, mine currently tells me that 15 trees were planted and 232.5 lbs of carbon sequestered thanks to the gifts my colleagues have redeemed. It also tells me that 11% of my gifts were donated to charities, which is my favorite Loop & Tie feature. One of the options in the collection I purchased for my colleagues was to choose to donate the value of their gift (in this case, $100) to a charity partnering with Loop & Tie, such as Charity Water or Mothers 2 Mothers. Several of my colleagues opted for this option, and it felt great to be able to provide it to them. Some people don't feel comfortable accepting gifts themselves, but to be able to take your gift and pass it along to a cause you align with is a gift unto itself. **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** To be honest, I can't think of a single thing I would have wanted to improve about my experience partnering with Loop & Tie. It was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. **What problems is Loop & Tie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Loop & Tie is solving for a lack of unique, higher-end gifts on the market, as well as the desire for recipients to be able to select their own gift from a collection rather than receive whatever their gift-giver assumes they'll like. This means that people are receiving gifts that are much more meaningful to them, and therefore reducing wastefulness. On that note, Loop & Tie is also pioneering more conscientious gift-giving by partnering with charities, supporting small businesses, including women-owned and BIPOC-owned, and helping to heal our planet by making environmental sustainability and carbon regeneration a cornerstone of their business model. ### 3. I have confidence that even a C-suite recipient is going to have a really straightforward user experience, without any additional frills/difficulty, and that is huge! **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** Ongoing upgrades that personalize the portal to your company's look and feel, like featuring both a gif and a redemption banner would be great (I think this is in the works). Otherwise, would love to see more options for fancy bottles of wine/nice bottles of whiskey to include as gifts, but also know that alcohol delivery can be tricky. **What problems is Loop & Tie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instead of picking a gift or selecting our own non-profit to receive a donation, we can rely on L&T's platform to do the heavy lifting and leave the selection to the recipient. It feels more personal that way and takes the headache of shipping out of your hands. ### 4. The platform is very user-friendly and the customer support is superb! It is so useful to have real-time access to our swag inventory and to have insights into our swag usage. Christina is always responsive and helpful - when I send her a question or a request, she responds immediately and gets it taken care of. **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** It would be nice if I could toggle between the gifting view and the supplier view. It always takes me a few minutes to figure out how to get from one to the other. **What problems is Loop & Tie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Loop & Tie makes sending swag and gifts to our partners so easy and smooth. This platform allows us to keep track of what we are sending, who we are sending it to, why we are sending it. It streamlines our internal processes for managing swag as well. ### 5. First, our staff and friends of the organization love that they can select something that they want, it allows gift-giving to be personal. Second, our administrators can select and send notes for a variety of gift-giving opportunities. Recipients can also select to donate their gifts and there are always causes that are relevant to donate to. **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** Some of the downsides could be related to the repetition of the gifts if you have to send the same people the same available gifts in a short period of time. I think that the customization options if you would like your packaging and branded enclosures included in the items you send, is pricy for smaller businesses and non-profits that are on tighter budgets. This is optional of course. **What problems is Loop & Tie solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the problems that Loop & Tie solves is supporting giving gifts to remote staff. Ultimately we like giving the autonomy of gift choosing to our speakers and partners makes them even more satisfied with the gift because they chose it. **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** Downsides are that the non-profit friendly (no alcohol, no cbd etc) collections had to be specifically curated (versus readily available). Would also be great to have collections corresponding to key areas like BIPOC owned products, etc. **What problems is Loop & Tie solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a fully remote team often giving gifts to people across the country, it's streamlined our operations greatly. You can simply send them a link and anything they see, they can get! Gone are the days of having to guess if your customer will like this, or that. Now they're guaranteed to love it because they picked it out! This not only works with customers, but you can use it for birthday, Christmas, almost anytime you need to give a gift you can use this service. **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** This is a personal dislike as I'm sure many would disagree with me, but not always changing the items. I was able to get a beautiful set of wooden bowls but they've been discontinued on the site. I have several friends and family who have commented on the bowls and would love to get a set if they are able. **Recommendations to others considering Loop & Tie:** DO IT! If you have the chance to utilize the Loop & Tie services, just do it! It's easy to use, their customer support is top-notch, and I have nothing but great things to say about this company. **What problems is Loop & Tie solving and how is that benefiting you?** I really think they're solving the age-old question of, "what do you get the person who has everything?". Gifting can be cause anxiety because you just never know what someone's taste is. Loop & Tie takes that guesswork out and just allows you to still say "Thank You" to your customer and showing your appreciation, while allowing them to select the gift of their choice. ### 9. Giving our clients the ability to choose their gift (or donate to a cause) is truly what makes Loop & Tie stand out from any other gifting platform, and we've received nothing but positive feedback and gratitude from using this platform. **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** I've yet to find anything I dislike about Loop & Tie, everything works well and the team is very responsive if/when we run into hiccups. The team is so quick to respond and is always so helpful and kind. They go above and beyond to ensure that every campaign is executed flawlessly. This gifting experience takes out the guess work in trying to determine addresses - the recipient can follow the SUPER user-friendly UX to select the item of their own choosing and send it to their address without the worry of our storing their personal/home addresses. I absolutely love that the recipient can select an item that they actually may want - and it's not branded. No one needs a million more branded mugs in their home. 11/10 would recommend this platform. **What do you dislike about Loop & Tie?** Would love to see some more granular analytics based on individual sends. I am sure that this is on their roadmap - but this is the only qualm I'm seeing at this point. **Recommendations to others considering Loop & Tie:** It has, without question, completely taken the stress out of the direct mail process. It has also eradicated the need to buy thousands of branded products only to be shipped to addresses that we "think" are correct. The world is trending more towards reducing clutter - allow your customers and prospects to pick something they ACTUALLY want and/or need rather than inundating them with "junk mail" or branded stress balls. **What problems is Loop & Tie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Loop & Tie has revolutionized the direct mail space in this new world of "Work from Home". It has also brought a more personalized element to the gifting arena. Enabling recipients to select an item feels so much more sentimental than a random one-off item. ### 13.
