## Lokalise Reviews
  ### 1. Great Features, but Some UI elements should be more intuitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Robust localisation platform so far. I have a been using if for several months now and it's performed well so far

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Still get confused about some UI elements

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for a better management of UI strings from our products

  ### 2. Great support for iOS, Android apps, with a convenient Fastlane plugin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Easy to use web interface for adding strings for both iOS and Android platforms, including plural support. The fastlane action is great for pulling the translations.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Better search support: regex filters in particular would be lovely.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developer workload is reduced - we enter keys/values into the Lokalise web UI, and from that point forward all we need to do is pull down translations. No managing localization bundles ourselves.

  ### 3. Modern, efficient, convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorota T. | Freelance Translator and Reviewer from English/French into Swedish, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I use Lokalise on a daily basis and fint the interface clear and user-friendly. The platform also has a convenient commenting feature for communicating with project managers and other team members, it gives you an easy overview of ongoing tasks, complete with status and workloads, plus it has a convenient AI translation feature and a super friendly and efficient support team.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I wish there were more ways to adapt the interface in terms of fonts, font size etc.
Not able to search for a word on a page using the simple Ctrl+F feature, you need to go via the interface
It would be great to have reference screenshots opening in a different window/tile so that they can be open during translation
Placeholders are not always easy to insert in target, sometimes there is no other way than copying the entire source string into the target segment to be able to insert the correct tags

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The AI translation feature is helpful as it allows me and my clients to save time by pre-translating files.

  ### 4. An invaluable tool in FE internationalisation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikolaj O. | Frontend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise makes an extremely tedious task such as internationalisation actually enjoyable to implement as a developer. Furthermore the end users have an easy time of understanding the UI, when they are managing their translations.

I am working with Lokalise on a daily basis both as a developer but also as support for our Marketing department. For all of our frontend solutions (Next.js, React.js and React Native) we are utilizing Lokalise for internationalization in three different ways:

For our Next.js website, Lokalise is connected via a webhook that I have set up for every domain. This means that any changes made by our franchise users are shown on the website in about 10 seconds. The integration of the webhook and connection to the Next.js API worked flawlessly and was very easy to do. Furthermore, the use of the useTranslation() hook makes it extremely easy to use the translations in your code on a day2day basic.

For our React.js integration we are mostly using Lokalise for storing all of our text content (everything is in English here). At one point we expect to do a proper localization of this application and I am sure that Lokalise will make it just as easy for us. One thing that we do not have in the client-side React.js app is the use of server-side API routes to trigger via the webhook and update the stored translations. I am excited to see how we will solve this challenge other than rebuilding and redeploying the project.

In the React Native application we are currently utilizing App Center to trigger a small in-app update for the users whenever a translation is changed.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

For our franchise solution we need to have different variants of e.g. the english texts. While this can be solved on the web with our headless CMS solution it is not as intuitive in our app, where we have to rely on creating multiple sub-versions of every locale in Lokalise. This means that the multilangual view can get cluttered very quickly.

Some of the franchise users also have a hard time understanding the use of {{brackets}} for dynamic variables in the text, which sometimes causes UI bugs until it is noticed - maybe this could be done in a more user friendly way?

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise makes it viable and actually possible for our team to manage a cross-country franchise solition across different FE stacks. The integration capabilities, particularly the webhook setup for our Next.js website, enable us to reflect user-generated changes on our website in near real-time. This ensures our content is always current - a core requirement from our franchise customers. Although handling dynamic variables with {{brackets}} can be challenging, Lokalise provides the structure needed to manage this aspect, allowing for the use of personalized and context-sensitive content. Lokalise is a core part of our web facing setup.

  ### 5. Great platform for localization management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lidziya L. | Localization Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I've been using Lokalise for about 5 years as a localization manager, and everything seems good to me. I might not use all of its features in my work, but here are the key upsides I'd like to share:

The interface is user-friendly. It's quite easy to find anything I need, as well as to handle all 40 languages on the platform, they are well shown on a single page.

The support team is great. They are always ready to help, respond quickly. I've never had any issues when interacting with the support team of lokalise.

It's very convenient to use the lokalise grammar checker which really helps not to miss mistakes or any other moments. As well as the issue notitifier in general.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

It would be great if more languages had access to the grammar checker.
Sometimes the file import is very long, and there might be some small bugs (for example, name of the copied key) and we also have difficulties importing plural keys with excel (it requires the complex form that might be broken easily by any occasional move. However, these issues have insignifican impact on the workflow.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a localization manager Lokalise keeps all translations in one place and they are easy to find.

  ### 6. Best localization platform I've used

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johann K. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Good user experience, easy to learn and make changes. Great support!

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Hard to point out anything. If you haven't use a localization tool before, it might take time to learn, but that's not Lokalise-specific.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are operating in several markets that need local context and Lokalise solves it very well

  ### 7. Great Integration with Our Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

1. Integrated in our ways of working
2. Lots of customisation possibilities
3. AI integrated
4. Can order translations

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

1. Quite costly
2. Sometimes the app is a bit buggy

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translate our saas app to many languages

  ### 8. Our recipe app team loves Lokalise

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joy H. | Localization Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

A user-friendly, easy to use platform that saves a lot of time and energy for multiple teams who are collaborating on multilingual content, as is the case for our recipe app. Our developers, designers, translation manager & freelancers couldn't be happier with the intuitive set-up of the platform! Can't comment on the AI translation quality, but we're super happy with the app integrations and customer support. Keep up the good work!

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Contributor settings could be smoother when adding contributors to new projects

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create & manage multilingual content for a recipe app in 5 languages - esp with Figma plug-in

  ### 9. Lokalise has enabled us to provide our product in a user's language of choice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise is easy to use because it allows you to separate all your translation jobs into separate projects so that your work is manageable. There is no limit on languages per project, meaning you can carry out all the translations you need in one place, if necessary, and not have to create a project per language.

With Lokalise, all I had to do was download the en.json file for my application, upload it to Lokalise, select the language I needed it translated to, select a translation engine and put the order through. There was no integration or dev work required to get the translations from Lokalise. Obviously my team had to do a bit of work to apply the translated content but there was no need for us to connect our app to Lokalise to get the translations we needed (I just downloaded the translated json file from Lokalise and our dev implemented that in our app).

Lokalise's customer support is outstanding. I raised a ticket and one of their support members understood the problem immediately and offered a solution without a hassle or any back and forth.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

There are a lot of user types and permissions required which can be very confusing for Admins. For example, making someone a manager which is supposed to give them full access, doesn't automatically mean the user can edit content/languages - there are different permissions for that.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are expanding outside the English-speaking world and Lokalise is helping us support multiple languages to extend our reach.

  ### 10. Top-notch technical support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diogo N. | Localisation Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I really like the technical support and their readiness to help.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

- The fact that it's not possible to reopen a closed ticket.
- The fact that you have to create a new task when you want to add a new language to an ongoing task.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a localisation manager, I can safely say Lokalise solves 90% of my problems.

  ### 11. It's the best localization software out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It's easy to use and onboard new collaborators. Managing permissions, creating tasks, editing them, working with the AI or the different MT engines is super easy. It's fast, reliable, and scalable. There are not many software with all these characteristics together.

It's also easy to implement and integrate in your software environment to localize apps, webpages, legal documents, etc.

You can have all your users collaborating at the same time, every day, and it also notifies you in real time if someone else is working on a key, so you can skip that one.

Also, if you have any issues, contacting the Support Service is fast via chats and their turnaround is also very fast.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

There are few downsides really. Sometimes it hangs if there are lots of large keys, but that's rare and it's always best to split very large texts into multiple keys.

Deleting templates is not possible unless you delete the task from where you created the template.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localizing apps, webpages, legal documents, customer services responses, FAQs, into multiple languages, having a glossary and working with the help of multiple MT engines and an AI.

  ### 12. Greate developer experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Developer tooling and docs are very helpful

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Namespacing has proven difficult thus far. We have many small translation files that we want to lazy load, but it's not immediately clear how to do this with Lokalise's architecture.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translating text in web app

  ### 13. Super easy to configure and use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep K. | Technical Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise is super easy to set up and great for managing translations. What I really like is how flexible it is, especially when connecting with other tools.

I use webhooks to automate tasks based on specific events, which saves a lot of time. I also created a local tool to handle custom translation formats for our database, making everything more efficient.

The integrations with GitHub and S3 are a big plus for managing static content. Setting them up is simple, and once they're in place, everything runs smoothly. For dynamic content in our database, webhooks come in handy again.

The Lokalise API is another highlight. It gives me the flexibility to pull or push translations as needed, and it works without any issues.

Their customer support is easy to reach. I used in-app chat support and I was able to connect in few minutes, and when I had a question, they responded quickly and resolved my issue right away.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I'm using Lokalise for almost half a year and haven't seen any think I dislike, just one suggestion,
To get key info which were part of order translation, we have to first fetch order info then use get keys API, if there is a direct API or filter which can return keys translation info by order Id it would make the workflow easy for automatic data sync.
If lokalise can provide direct MongoDB or SQL DB plugin to sync data it would be a great win.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Lokalise to lauch our app in global marketplace with multilingual support so user can use it in their native language, and lokalise made it super easy to integrate it with our mobile app, web app and for DB data translation it supports with APIs and webhooks to setup DB integrations with custom key formats

  ### 14. Okay for web/app, definitely not for more complex integrations and offline content

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Ease to use, instant customer support, open to feedback to improve the experience and easy to integrate for web/app.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Project-base dependency, lack of global settings implementation, lack of customization and connection to internal tools, ambiguous TM usage, not thought for offline content localization

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick web/app localization, option to use a common shared glossary across all teams, use translation memory as repository.

  ### 15. A Powerful Tool That Could Be More User-Friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefania G. | Freelance tecnical translatorand software localizer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise provides useful data to understand the context of translations and offers robust features for managing Translation Units (TUs). The platform is powerful and well-suited for managing large-scale translation projects.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The interface feels very developer-oriented, which can be challenging for translators and editors who may not be familiar with Markdown or HTML. A preview of the final document below the translation area would be helpful, eliminating the need to interpret codes manually.

Additionally, organizing TUs alphabetically would streamline workflows, and a simpler way to view matches and fuzziness percentages is necessary. This is especially relevant for editors who are paid based on match percentages and need to work efficiently on higher matches.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No idea, sorry. I am just a translator/editor

  ### 16. The kind of simplicity you expect from great products.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Breixo F. | Senior Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like how simple it seems and how fast the learning curve goes. You naturally discover more features, and deepen in the usage naturally. Great job with IxD!

I love how "AI smartness" subtly interfaces with the conceptual model of lookalise. It seems the right approach to me, it provides value, it improves my choices, makes me feel I'm in control.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Not super fan of how comments are approached. I find it opens a door to communicating directly in the app, but you find it limiting quickly.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage internationalization of our products, ensure consistency in vocabulary, conviniently translate directly in app.

  ### 17. Packed with features, but pricey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

- Powerful yet easy to use
- Flexible
- The new workflow feature is promising

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

- Plans lack flexibility when it comes to available options
- Overall, the service is quite expensive

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Makes it easy to offer our SaaS in multiple languages
- Facilitates collaboration between developers, UX writers, and in-house translators

  ### 18. Quick solutions on the Queries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I was facing some issues regarding my account and i contacted support team. they provided quick solution and less time. It is easy to use and we can implement changes easily.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I didnt find any problem yet. I will let know if any

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is quite easy to use and add new keys. it makes translation easy. works effectively.

  ### 19. User frendly tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It's very easy to use and it helps to have the work done fast

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

If you have al lot of projects opened at the same time the app starts running slower

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can have all the languages translated so fast, and it's very easy to use

  ### 20. I apply for localization of the back end service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergey M. | разработчик программного обеспечения, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Like integration with services such as git for the ability to continuously work with code CI

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Sometimes there are technical shortcomings or inconveniences (more details can be seen in the dialogues with operators)

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides the ability to localize the user interface for different regions, multi-access to the dictionary, as well as automation in translation.

  ### 21. Does what it should

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It does what it should to some degree. Easy to collaborate and several integrations.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Expensive to use very basic AI features. I could probably build 99% of the features I use in Lokalise myself over a weekend.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration with team mates.

  ### 22. Essential for multilingual apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

The intuitive UI and real-time collaboration features are amazing. It makes it easy for the team to update copy without needing dev support

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

While there are many integrations, some of them could use more documentation or customization options

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise helps us centralize and manage all our translation files, which used to be scattered across different repositories. Now, developers, product managers, and translators can collaborate in one place, which reduces errors and accelerates our release cycles

  ### 23. A good tool with a great Customer Service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It's easy to mantain our keys and to change them quickly when needed. It's deeply integrated with our software and when we need a fix the Customer Support is always eager to solve any trouble in 24 hours. We use it on a daily base and we can't really do without it.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The one thing I find difficult to deal with is to empty all fields of a single key. I don't know if it's possible, but if there's a feature it's not really easy to find.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easy to change a feature name when you deal with a very complex localized project. As a designer and FE Developer is great to search all the terms i need to change so I can fix them.

  ### 24. User friendly CAT tool powered with features like translate with AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasad K. | Translator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise is a great CAT tool with user friendly interface and its features such as translate with AI make it even better. Many a times during translation, we have character limits, the 'shorten' feature in Lokalise allows me to meet that limit without changing the meaning of the source text. It also has features such as 'Rephrase' and 'suggest variants' which I use often.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Two minor issues that I would like Lokalise team to fix are:
1) I can't see exact number of tasks I am working on, if they are more than 9. It will only show 9+.

2) If I save and complete a segment using keyboard shortcuts then it does not move the cursor to next segment, I have to use mouse for that every time.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have worked on many CAT tools in the past. I am using Lokalise since February 2024. The problem that Lokalise is solving for me is the way tags are displayed and inserted in a target field. It is quite user friendly, inserted with keyboard shortcut keys and the coloured tags make the work interesting, unlike other CAT tools which display tags in the same monotonous color. Additionally, inserting glossary terms is supereasy with keyboard, which feature is unique in Lokalise. Options of Google translate and Microsoft translate enhance my productivity when I translate complex and technical text.

  ### 25. Time of localising process is reduced with this tool to minimum.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Ease of use of this product in multi-language project and great user-experience.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Sometimes is loading time slightly longer, than I would expected, but nothing serious.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed, quality and consistency of translation in our SaaS solution.

  ### 26. A powerful tool for managing multilingual content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise helps me manage all my translated content efficiently. The tagging system makes it easy to organize by project or feature. I can quickly find missing translations, handle many language variations, and the API integration was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Some settings are confusing at first but stable once configured. The UI always defaults to base vs all languages, which makes navigation tedious when dealing with many translations.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of all the languages we support, and being able to manage all the content. With Lokalise it's very easy to find what's missing and organise the content for our products.

  ### 27. Fast and easy to set up for designers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amina M. | Product Designer (I wasn't able to upload a screenshot on the next question, the submit file button didn't work), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like how fast and easy it was to export the screens, change the translations and hand it over to the developers and copy writing for double checking.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

It seemed complicated at first, felt like there were so many options and things to consider but once I got started it was actually easy.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the problem of having duplicate screens in Figma just to show translations. It makes my work as a designer a whole lot easier to be able to switch between our languages and then ship it to the developers.

  ### 28. Happy to utilize Lokalise for localization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** June N. | Localization Project Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise is an engineer-friendly platform that has also developed technologies and integration tools for comprehensive localization. I'm also happy with the CS widget, very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Some features, like search and filter, are not yet fully linguist-friendly. Bulk actions also have room for improvement.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise helps our company localize product content for 13 markets and also functions as a partial content management system.

  ### 29. Lokalise is a game-changer for multilingual content management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darci V. | Product Operations Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

We've been using Lokalise to manage our front-end changes and keep our Intercom help center updated across four languages, and it has been a game changer for our team. Lokalise makes it incredibly easy to centralize our translations and collaborate with my teammates. It integrates seamlessly with our system.Highly recommend it to any team looking to scale their localization efforts. It just works. My team loves the new AI translation offerning, which allows us to keep our costs down.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

As a new user unfamiliar with translation management system, it took me a couple tries to feel comfortable using it, but I appreciate the resources that were available to me to get help.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to keep our help center content up to date in four languages is time-consuming and difficult for our small team. Lokalise helps immensly to speed up this process and makes the impossible, possible

  ### 30. Support from Lokalise team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

They are very responsive and always eager to resolve the issues faced asap.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I didn't get reminder for payment so couldn't do the renewal on time

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to maintain multiple versions of translation for various customer and integrated them in our CI/CD build pipelines. Translators have easy access to change.

  ### 31. Absolutely amazing service!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 경민 . | Frontend engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise has an intuitive UI and offers many options for your project, such as setting up file directories, auto-generating PRs, and self QA features. Plus, when you get an error or run into a problem you don't recognize, you can connect with an agent and they'll respond promptly and kindly. Lokalise is the best, it's the best on the market.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The downside of Lokalise is that sometimes things like error logs aren't immediately communicated to users. For example, I had a minor issue today where I sent out a PR and it didn't respond, so I thought it was a bug, but after connecting with an agent, I realized that the commit hadn't gone out because there were no changes. It would be nice if this could be fixed because it's hard for users to see it right away!

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We serve three main countries, Korea, the US, and Japan, and it's great to be able to quickly and easily localize and serve them with Lokalise.

  ### 32. Incredible Support for Translating and Localising Our Products

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giulio P. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Integration with other tools we use, such as Gitlab, Jira, or Wordpress, has made it even easier and smoother. In addition, thanks to string management and advanced translation options, we have maintained the consistency and quality of our texts in all languages.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Automations, for example, are very useful but cannot be configured by adapting them to all needs.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Lokalise we had difficulty creating projects quickly and integrating them into our stack without the help of a development team, now we can handle these initial steps much more easily.

  ### 33. Superb customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael L. | Content Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Responsive support with high quality guidance, namely screenshots, relevant examples and links. In addition, the implementation team are highly competent and greatly assisted our implementation of a new content design process through their Figma plugin.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

As a UX writer, it isn't a strong content management system for source language. We're attempting to use it for its basic offering and hope that's sufficient. The Figma plugin tool of linking keys could be improved.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End-to-end process of content creation to production in source and multiple languages. Personally, it's allowing me to use Figma as the source of truth within my company, across design, product and dev.

  ### 34. Very comprehensive feature set, growing all the time, plus top customer support.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul S. | Content Operations Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I've never used a SaaS product with such excellent customer support before. Online chat support people are knowledgeable and very responsive (usually within seconds).
Feature requests and suggestions are taken onboard and quite often added.
The more I use it, the more I find features that are helpful to me, that are already part of the product, and helping me to streamline my processes.
Most of the features are well thought through and very useful.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Probably the main area of frustration is in the handling of duplicates and linked keys. There are some tools but they are a bit simplistic and could be improved. I've raised this with the team and hope to see improvements soon!

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have text for our website in a variety of files within both front and back end systems. Lokalise allows us to input the English, translate, review and then push other languages back to the repository or other systems easily. Due to integration of Lokalise and our repository we no longer have to handle files manually in most cases.
We can also make use of translation memory and linking of keys to avoid re-translating the same phrases again and again.

The benefits are quicker handling of translations, and reduced error from manual handling of keys and files. We also benefit from the review process being within Lokalise where screenshots and comments can be added to help reviewers.

  ### 35. Lokalise

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

One of the best support chats I've worked with - always helpful, timely and respectful in their answers
Very easy to use - newly onboarded team mates can ramp-up very fast due to how easy it is to navigate the tools
It's the main tool that our team uses
Number of features has significantly increased over the past years, providing tools that make work more simple
Glossary management works really well

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

There are outages from time to time
The tool can be a little slow when processing large operations
There could be more languages with spell-check support, or at least options to integrate outsourced spell-checks

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise provides a one-stop-shop for translation management. It allows task creation and assignment, it's easy to use both for content managers, project managers and linguists, allows for bulk actions that truly save time and seems to be pretty secure to use. Managing large amounts of keys to a large amount of languages can be very tricky, but Lokalise makes it simple. We can count on Lokalise to help us achieve our translations goals with hundreds of daily users. It is a complete tool for localisation needs.

  ### 36. A diligent partner, striving to make our localisation better, be it through technology or process.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anushka W. | Platform Enablement EU Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

They work closely with their clients to find solutions that work for them and are always at hand to help, whether through consultancy, their handy 24/7 online chat-support, or just by their well-documented developer portal. Integration is simple, whether manually done via the GUI, or automated via their CLI/REST API. There are also a whole raft of additional integrations, such as the Figma plugin, that allow you to shift left the localisation process and create faster feedback loops, whilst maintaining consistency between the designs and your production app.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

There has been quite a lot of re-organisation going on, which means we've had to work with a rotating cast of Lokalise CSMs and Account Managers. We would also like more visibility of our long-standing feature requests and for these to be addressed at some point.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise provides a fully-fledged Translation Management Systems that solves the problem of businesses manually submitting translations requests in Spreadsheets, and often via email.

  ### 37. Lokalise tool used by other clients

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Quick implementation and integration. And I used it frequently

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 38. Great product, great people.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob P. | International Growth Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

The product is very intuitive, and helps with all types of localization work. The people in the company are friendly, accommodating, and super fast at responding.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Nothing. So far our experience has been perfect.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise has helped us translate our product in a cost-effective way, as well as integrate and localize other parts of our business like help files and chat support.

  ### 39. Easily localising global animal health research tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mateusz G. | Digital Product Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I've been using Lokalise on several projects and am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The tool is user-friendly for product managers or designers, who can easily update copies in the app without needing to involve developers. Just edit copies under a relevant key and with the next build, the app will automatically pull the most up-to-date content.

My dev colleagues who handle integration with web and mobile apps never had issues with setting this up irrespective of tech stack.

Recently, we explored the Figma plugin, thanks to the Growth Customer Success Manager, Liene. This new feature appears to be a powerful addition, potentially saving us significant manual effort by ensuring consistency between the text in our app designs and Lokalise.

Additionally, purchasing translations is straightforward, with transparent and easy-to-understand pricing.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I wish the Figma plugin could be offered as an add-on for an additional fee, rather than requiring an upgrade to the Pro plan. We don’t need most of the Pro plan’s features, and the price difference between the Pro and Essential plans is significant. As I’m not a power user, this is my only concern.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise simplifies the setup and maintenance of multi-language mobile and web apps, allowing for the separation of app content from the code. This means that text changes can be made without needing developer involvement.

  ### 40. Excellent product for localization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inga V. | Frontend Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like that lokalise is easy to use for developers as well as for translations. I often have to use their search and it works great. Adding and editing new keys is easy.
Also, they have excellent customer service that is available all the time. All my issues that I've had have always been resolved quickly and efficiently

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I cannot think of anything that I don't like

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can lokalise our product very easily. Adding new languages is also easy and simple

  ### 41. Easy to use and the support team is super helpful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It offers great options to automate your processes with automation and workflows. The support team is amazing and quick to respond to each question you may have.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Would love the option to be able to filter the source text by the modified date, this is now only available for the translations.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translations services for our apps and educational content

  ### 42. Incredible Localization Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Desiree H. | Technical Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I love that Lokalise has a bunch of different options to be able to translate content in multiple formats into multiple langugaes. The AI translation is one of the best I've seen. Most importantly, their support team is incredibly helpful and responsive and offer several solutions to ensure we can get what we need working. My team uses it almost everyday.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I wish they could handle complex Excel workbooks automatically.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's cut our translation costs down because we don't need to use an exterior resource to get things translated. We're able to translate lots of content in several media types.

  ### 43. Great Support Team, but Lacks Essential Context Features for Gengo Translators

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

1. Lokalise’s interface is pretty intuitive. It didn't take me long to get the hang of it, and everything is laid out in a way that’s easy to follow. The dashboard is clean, and you can quickly find all your translation keys, languages, and project files. Also love the dark theme.
2. I really appreciate how Lokalise integrates with tools we already use like GitHub, Figma, and Slack.
3. The reporting tools are great for tracking project progress and keeping an eye on budgets. I can see which languages are complete, what’s in progress, and how much is left, which is super helpful for staying on top of deadlines.
4. The support team has been amazing! They’re responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping out.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

1. Lokalise is definitely on the more expensive side, especially if you're a smaller team or an individual user. I feel like some features are great but not essential for every use case, so it would be nice to have more flexible pricing options.
2. The comment button is gray/dark blue, which tends to blend into the background on a dark theme. It doesn’t stand out visually when a new comment from a translator appears, making it easy to overlook.
3. It’s really disappointing that essential features like Translation Memory (TM), glossary support, and character limit checks aren’t available for Gengo translators.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise to order, keep, and manage all our translations in one place, which has made the process way more organized. It’s like having our localization team and tools directly embedded in the workflow, which saves us time and keeps everything up-to-date.

  ### 44. Lokalise is a powerful tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomás S. | Softwate Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It has integration with multiple Git Repo's, automations and team projects.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

It has different project settings for each element of the team and it would be good to be possible to set these settings as global.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handle multi-lingual app for different markets.

  ### 45. A very responsive, modern, and flexible translation management system.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel R. | Localization Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Competitive pricing, responsive support, intuitive tools, multiple integrations with 3-party services, instrumental diversity allowing management of various projects, support of a big variety of source files, high flexibility in everything related to customized integration to client's services.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

It would be nice to have a secondary subdivision of subprojects within a single project. Currently, a system of tags is in use, which can be worked with, but not ideal.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Lokalise for a variety of projects, including continuous translation of a software product along with massive marketing and educational projects running simultaneously.

  ### 46. Improved our platform's localization capability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It's easy to integrate and it's easier to translate our contents in different languages

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Could be tricky to use during the first weeks. But it's a matter of finding the right way to structure the projects.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's much more faster to translate our contents in multiple languages and integrate it with our platform

  ### 47. Great for localising your mobile app for multiple languages or multiple brands

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

The Lokalise platform is an easy to use platform, with a fast and easy to use web portal with extensive functionalities. Functionalities like, providing automatically translation suggestions and QA suggestion, speed up the work process and make it a breeze to quickly add a new 'key' to your translations. The extensive CLI tooling als makes it easy to implement the localisation process into your development pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Lokalise is a bit on the pricy side when you want to have integrations with Figma or have the automatic translation service. You then quickly end up in the more pricier tiers.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintining translations for a mobile app over different languages and brands.

  ### 48. Really helpful to implement & handle multiple languages. Easy to integrate.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It gives suggestions with its accuracy based on base language while editing other language data.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

there is no problem or nothing special dislike.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we need an app to use multiple language supported. then we can go with Localise to reduce the complexity and ease of implementation.

  ### 49. Lokalise is a powerhouse in a cage

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karl S. | Translator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I use lokalise as a translator every day and appreciate the following:
- Quick loading times
- Quick support responses
- Translation interface is good

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

As a power user the following annoyances appeared to me:

Urgency 11/10: Colorful placeholders are nice to look at in the translation view but PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD lokalise needs to make the product manager who uploads a translation task double check the file to clean up the returns/newlines so that we translators are not presented with a mess that is an editing nightmare. Lokalise needs to implement a sanitation/normalizing module for that and show an example view of the task so the uploader sees the mess.

Urgency 10/10: Translators should have the option to download reports with match numbers, just like the management team of the company that assigns tasks to us. That way, we can write invoices ourselves and use stepped pricing based on those matches. Now, we are reliant on the management team to receive their reports in time, which is an abysmal situation to be in as a freelance translator. Plus, the report word counts between the management and translator reports differ which is odd and possibly a bug of this platform.

Urgency 10/10: DeepL should be integrated more, in the sense that a translator may use their credentials to log into their DeepL-account to be able to use their glossary and settings within lokalise.

Urgency 8/10: Prevent CSS repainting (page jumping) when a translator moves to a key that they want to translate (by clicking with the mouse or using the keyboard). Currently, my eyes lose track when the grey match list gets opened. Its appearance shifts the page layout, resp. scrolls the page a bit up or down. It would be better if your grey match list gets assigned fixed size boxes. This helps with e.g. DeepL results that take a couple of seconds to arrive and may be long. Additionally, the grey box should be treated as a "position:absolute" item that never interferes with the page layout.

Urgency 8/10: Introduce mandatory field for the project owner to make them set the deadline time. The date without time is useless, since it depends on the tasker's opinion if they mean the previous or mentioned day. Some taskers write the date/time into the info field but some forget it. There needs to be a mandatory date/time field.

Urgency 3/10: Option for setting keys as translated in bulk (instead of mind-numbingly clicking each orange circle).

Urgency 2/10: Translation of a key: The "Cancel"-button should be further away from the "Save" button to prevent accidental hits.

Believe it or not: I've sent this list to the lokalise team in 2021 and still these pressing issues aren't fixed while they only fixed one minor thing with urgency 1/10 (show task title in task view). Lokalise seems to be a company with 5 managers for every 1 programmer.

I still would recommend lokalise as it saves time and money, but it definitely doesn't live up to its potential.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise is a platform where product teams put their translation tasks. For translators like me and product managers this is a major help as the platform takes care of progress tracking and has tools for efficient translations and reporting. Would I use lokalise or a traditional approach? Of course, lokalise is better and saves time besides the issues I have with it. Is lokalise headed in the right direction? For me as a translator I can say no because I don't see progress on the tools and interface for us.

  ### 50. Good tool for translating software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benoit R. | Développeur, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Retrieval of texts by GitHub. Ease of identification of untranslated texts. Translation assistance tools.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Not yet fully autonomous to update the repository on GitHub.
Change the order of the texts in the files.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Management of translations not accessible to people external to the project.
