The most helpful thing about GoTo Resolve is the ease with which you can sync daily tasks and communications in just one forum. I am constantly misplacing key aspects of my presentation. We encountered issues when connecting with clients who used more than one monitor. It requires a few extra steps and can be cumbersome, especially with less technically inclined clients. It has some issues with connection where at some destination machines, one needs to either update the software or install a new version to get connected to host machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That I can work from home and still perform actions on a users computers as if I was standing at their desk. A common problem for users is not to be able to install the software they need to perform their job and with this software I can access their laptop and provide the administrator credentials to do the install without having to risk security. GoToResolve is an easy-to-use tool for remote support. The program allows quick connection times and a valuable tool to allow screen sharing and remote control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are more steps involved in getting connected than there needs to be, but they steps are easy. The multiple steps do make GoToResolve more secure, but some could be encapsulated better and still maintain security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GoToAssist performs reliably every time I need to connect with a customer's computer. It's fairly easy to get them connected, and there never seems to be any downtime. Plus if I'm traveling and I need information or a document that's only on my home computer, it's easy to connect from anywhere and get what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
