**What do you like best about LogMeIn Resolve?**

I have used GoToAssist since it's initial release.  It was and is far superior to original support tools like VNC from many aspects.
It has saved me invaluable time, money, and miles.  It has allowed me to service clients and support them from anywhere - just like I was at their desk.  Clients appreciate that they don't to wait for a site visit and that their needs are immediately evaluated and addressed.  It saves both of us time, money and resources... time for me as a support provider and down time for the client who no longer has to wait for someone to visit their premises.  Plus- less travel so it's even climate conscious.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

I don't have any real downside to using the GoToAssist product.  Could they add a future module that allows me to beam myself to a client site when the rare occasion arises where a physical visit is necessary?  😂

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves scheduling and travel time issue for support calls.  In many instances what may seem to be a huge issue to a client can be fixed with a quick remote support session.  That translates for greater efficiency for me and greater flexibility.

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Resolve?**

The platform makes it easy for IT Support staff to assist remote workers with fixing local problems of connectivity, access, and/or general support.  The process is much cleaner than other programs we've used.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

I don't know much about how good the support side is when the program doesn't function as intended since I am usually more on the receiving end of the IT support.  I have heard things from colleagues that the support could be better.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoTo Resolve is helping our central office support local and remote employees get the most out of our internal systems and platforms.  It allows tech issues to be resolved quickly and efficiently.

I like the ease of use of the program. It is a simple login to enable remote access with my IT person. They no longer have to come to the office to check on an issue

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

There is nothing to dislike at this point. The program is so simple. Its one step to allow access remotely, whether IT support, working with one of my employees or working with one of my companies.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Go To Resolve solves the problem of waiting for IT support to physically come to my office. Remote access makes things run so much smoother and I dont have to wait for IT to show up.

The ease of use and the ability to connect with clients to assist with their needs. Users can easily connect using a variety of technology, from desktops, and laptops, to android phones.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

Users will occasionally run into lag time, and clients who have not educated themselves about the product may run into problems using the software. It is a bit pricey compared to similar products.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be used to obtain diagnostic info from the host computer and have other IT members join a diagnostic session. Team members do not necessarily have to be on a laptop or desktop to access; they may use their smartphones. The software also comes with dynamic controls when running on a mobile device. It is easy to connect with users via the fast support link; if necessary, one can use the live chat feature.

Well, it can run automated commands on multiple devices simultaneously. It runs on all operating systems like windows, android & MacOS as well. This really gives edge on all competitors

Ease of sign up. Very easy to use. Allows to provide remote help, manage updates status, provides quite comprehensive reporting, good integrations with Microsoft Teams, Slack etc

So far too early to say. I do not see many apparent disadvantages.

Eliminates the necessity to travel, a substantial number of issues can be timely dealt with remotely. Allow to maintain control of various client infrastructures and ensure their workability.

The support was excellent for our small team, especially during the lockdown, We are a small team and we spend most of our workdays in meetings and issues always happen, It was great to reach out to someone whenever we couldn't fix the issue on our own.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

Sometimes i would have issues when it came to using my ipad but then again i do have an older ipad so maybe its just my device. Maybe the only thing would be to make sure older devices are compatible with GOToAssist.

The problems being solved are just minor technical issues, Internal/External requests and time management. I think this was most helpful when we had to be remote.

I really like the seamlessness it creates for managing support tickets, as an QA professional, anything that makes that part of my job eaiser and more automated, I consider it a win.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

Due to it's fresh and new feel it is quite difficult to try and get other clients to jump on board, change is difficult but so can be managing tickets, which woudl you prefer.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know how to emphasize the importance of managing service tickets in an IT world and making sure that digital aspects of our business are working as they are expected to, or as advertised.

It is very easy and available on all major platforms. It has a simple user interface, making it easy to understand and use. Like, users can manage their accessibility. It is one of the best software that supports the best remote access services.

Sometimes you may encounter some errors while transferring long files. I also wish I could maintain full control over my screen.

Simple to use to connect customers and virtually offer tech support and troubleshoot their issues from anywhere.  Easy to use for any level tech savvy customer or user.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

The one issue is not having an override or access to the admin account based changes that a customer may need in order to solve their problem, but let's face it this is kinda hard to accomplish.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting with customers to solve their tech problems remotely.  We use this on a daily basis which makes both our jobs in IT and the customers issues they are dealing with much simpler to do.

The most helpful thing about GoTo Resolve is the ease with which you can sync daily tasks and communications in just one forum. I am constantly misplacing key aspects of my presentation. GoTo Resolve allows for the excellent organization of all necessary tasks.

It is sometimes challenging to sync with my existing calendar or other software that I may be using while also using GoTo Resolve. This issue is easy to fix by using a second screen.

Go To Resolve is helpful when communicating over many different platforms and with various clients worldwide. My business performance has increased dramatically.

It was really easy to use for client meetings.  They were able to log on without any issues.  We were able to track our productivity and increase it with the use of this software.

This software was very easy to use and we did not have any issues.  We had very good training and the support was excellent and well received by employees in our group.

The day to day use lined up with the claims the company made and provided our company some much-needed solutions to problems we had at the time. Overall, it worked well and helped us save time and money.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

We encountered issues when connecting with clients who used more than one monitor. It requires a few extra steps and can be cumbersome, especially with less technically inclined clients. Sometimes there was an issue with lag or slow file transfers, but it was manageable.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provided an easy tool to assist our clients in diagnosing and solving many issues remotely that may have otherwise required us to travel. It's also a trusted source, so we didn't have any issues with anyone downloading and using it, which was an issue in the past with similar software.

It is one of the most secure application among other remote support applications. The layout of its features is straightforward and thus, easy to explain to the clients.

It has some issues with connection where at some destination machines, one needs to either update the software or install a new version to get connected to host machine.

With its help, I could access clients' and advisors' computer desktop remotely and assist them with their needs. It gave me a capability to manage my time dealing with multiple issues at the same time.

That I can work from home and still perform actions on a users computers as if I was standing at their desk. A common problem for users is not to be able to install the software they need to perform their job and with this software I can access their laptop and provide the administrator credentials to do the install without having to risk security.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

If the users connection is not great then it can take a long time to perform some of the tasks. I've been disconnected a few times and had to re-restablish the session but not a huge deal.

I can work remotely and still support my user base. As corporations move away from in-office and in-person work this kind of software becomes invaluable to organizations.

GoToResolve is an easy-to-use tool for remote support.  The program allows quick connection times and a valuable tool to allow screen sharing and remote control.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

There are more steps involved in getting connected than there needs to be, but they steps are easy.  The multiple steps do make GoToResolve more secure, but some could be encapsulated better and still maintain security.

In my business I have to connect to MANY remote computers and devices of many types.  GoToResolve allows ALL of those connections in an easy and concise manner.

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Resolve?**

GoToAssist performs reliably every time I need to connect with a customer's computer.  It's fairly easy to get them connected, and there never seems to be any downtime. Plus if I'm traveling and I need information or a document that's only on my home computer, it's easy to connect from anywhere and get what I need.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

The only downside I can think of is the name "fastsupport."  Somehow about half the people I tell the URL to seem to think I'm saying "staff support," and they end up on staff-recruitment sites until I spell it for them.

**Recommendations to others considering LogMeIn Resolve:**

If you need to perform remote support, it's hard to find a product which will work better.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a software reseller and do a lot of technical support.  I can't imagine being able to do that without seeing the customer's computer and - at times - troubleshooting issues myself, rather than telling them how to do it.  Some people are not terribly tech-savvy, and don't know how to follow the steps involved in troubleshooting.  For instance, if I say, "Open File Explorer" and they don't know what that is, it slows everything down.  So much faster to do it myself!

I enjoy the fact that I can go to this website to help me navigate any new remote software.  Any question or challenge I might have, Go To Resolve will help me or teach me how to use this.

The main downside is not having all availability of new software in my field.

I was able to use Go To Resolve to figure out a feature in Quickbooks Online software. It benefited me to hear from other users that had the same problem as I did.

A bit outdated and slow. iOS app is clunky and very hard to see others users screen.

If you have an IT issue, you can connect to a tech support agent instantly to troubleshoot your issue, often done remotely. 
You might have to permit the agent to control your device

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Resolve?**

Simple and responsive web UI.
The client is light in resources and easy to be installed by end-users.
Is not an all-in-one solution and that is great. This product is then maintained correctly and focused on performing as expected.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

I wish the other tools I use would have integration with GoToAssist but that is not necessarily this product's fault. I would like to see the public IP of each client in the listing but that is not a deal-breaker at all.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I could remote easily and fast into any computer even if the client was not previously installed by us. Installing the client into as many computers as we want and being charged just for the technicians using the service is excellent. This allows great flexibility in providing assistance to whomever we need.

I can connect easily to any of my devices when I need to from my laptop.  I can organize all my devices under folders in which I can name.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

Nothing to state at this time.  I have been using this product for four years without any complaints.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease to join a user’s computer while they are on it or not on it at the time of remote desktop access.  Interaction with the desktop is very close to real-time.  Very little lag time between keyboard and mouse interactions.

It is occasionally difficult to link to a live representative, which is inconvenient. I loathe having to lead the customer through the installation process every time. This tends to delay and stay on the slower side of remote assistance and support. It's also difficult to communicate with remote customers.

Extremely easy to get connected to a remote PC and secure. Once connected I have full control of everything needed on that PC, I can even reboot the PC. If they have multiple screens I can slide from screen to screen with ease.  If I need to communicate with the end-user I can use the chat option.  I also like that I can pull someone else into the remote session, share the screen, so they can assist or see what is taking place.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

I'm not sure if this is an issue with GoTo or our own IT security, but our IT dept. does not allow end-users to install software and if working on a remote PC where something triggers what appears to be an "install", the security application pops up saying you do not have rights to install software and if you wish to continue you need a code - contact xyz dept. At this point, I lose control of the remote mouse in the GoToAssist session and have to either ask the end-user to kill that security screen or I have to restart the GTA session and hopefully, the end-user is still there to assist with reconnecting.

**Recommendations to others considering LogMeIn Resolve:**

One last thing to mention, it is easy to admin and install. I can run reports to see usage and can even record sessions.  The one weak area as admin, I wish I could run one report for all users that would provide the number of times they have used it in the last year.  As it is now, I have to run a report for each individual user, hence, I run many reports as to one.

**What problems is LogMeIn Resolve solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I'm understanding this question correctly, GTA is used to remote into someone's PC and see firsthand what the problem is. As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words and seeing someone firsthand duplicate an issue saves us a ton of time. Mostly because many details do not get mentioned in an email or service ticket. Having the ability to control the remote PC allows us to test and troubleshoot, we also know where to go to view log files, settings, etc. which saves a ton of time from having to walk the end-user thru various clicks.   We have been using GTA for about 10 or 12 years and have no complaints, no issues.

We also use GTA for unassisted remote sessions, we can remote into a PC or server at any given time to run various reports, check the status of something, etc.

The nicest part about GoToAssist would be that end customers may be emailed an invite URL or an assistance code, and they will be prompted to download the application on request. An application that is simple to use and enables the rapid and reliable initiation of numerous meetings, remote management, and file sharing. Great support is always sensitive to user needs, allows me to write notes while in the session, measure time invested, log my meeting, and export it for archival and training reasons, and is quite simple to start and deploy.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

It demands strong internet connectivity to function correctly; connectivity issues can create lags in posting and sharing data, so we must have a quick and consistent connection. The customer must pay extra fees to use the phone app. Usually, after establishing a remote help connection, the support specialist loses track of the end mouse and user, and it takes a few presses in a specific pattern to regain control.

It is a handy program with low pricing and a great utility that's also worth investigating. Controlling virtually is among the activities that we employ more frequently currently to assist customers, and I suggest the GotoAssist team.

The software lets users quickly download, install, or access the application via a browser window. In addition, it self-uninstalls, so it doesn't leave behind junk/garbage applications on the customer's machines after use unless they opt to go the product installed for reuse later. 
The application intuitively allows any connected user to screen share and grant keyboard/mouse controls along with clipboard access to share files and content easily between devices (based on configuration settings). In addition, the higher subscription options can white-wash the share links. Hence, they appear to come from the company instead of an unknown product from the user's perspective, allowing for increased comfort.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Resolve?**

There is no downside to using GoToResolve.  If you have customers call that you need to remotely connect with to provide technical support to without physically being at their machine, then this is the best product for you to use.

GoToAssist (now GoTo Resolve) has been a reliable, intuitive program that has saved countless hours of travel and allowed me to resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently!  Excellent customer service team, too!

The only challenges with GoTo Resolve would be connecting with post-Catalina Macs (requires two sessions and permissions changes in the Security and Privacy sections) and Chromebooks. There has been one (quickly resolved) outage in the last ten years.  Virtually no complaints here!

An area that should be better trained is the option of using the system with the mobile application since when it is sed it is very slow, it tends to fall and makes users feel unpleasant, which is why it is annoying and it an id, not the same to use it as on a computer or desktop, apart from its cost is a bit high for which they should make it more accessible and add more benefits so that more users can use it.

GoToAssist has been our main tool for remote support for the last few years. It works great, the unattended installer is a fantastic way to connect with your employees' machines without much hassle. The ability to easily escalate to administrative priviliges is also a huge boon.

A web interface that is both simple and flexible. The client uses few assets and is simple for end-users to download. This solution is properly handled and concentrates on working as desired. The potential to quickly ascend to administrator privileges is also quite beneficial. Putting the user on as many systems as we like and just getting paid for the professionals who use the solution is fantastic. This gives us a lot of leeway in assisting anybody we have to.

I want some other services I use to be integrated with GoToAssist, however that is not exactly the error of this application. I'd like to have the public IP addresses of every user listed, although this isn't a big deal. I get a problem when I'm linked to a client's PC and the procedure, we're performing needs admin login details to be input. I lose control after the client provides them. I'd like it if the consumer could confirm that they need me to keep command of the mouse.

Software works easily, systems can be added quickly, and software download works quickly and efficiently for many platforms.  Had no issues using this product to work on PC's or Mac's.

The price is much higher than comparable products.  When Office 365 users can use Teams and achieve similar functionality, it makes the cost seem a little prohibitive.

I like that it is simple to invite another tech to join a session. The process of connecting to a customer's account is very easy for them to understand even if they are not tech-savvy.  No windows are lying over the connection to control the program, everything is out of the way above the screen.

The only issue that I have difficulty with is when I am connected to a customer's machine and the process we are doing requires admin credentials be entered, Once the customer enters those, I no longer have control.  I would like if there was an option for the customer to affirm they want me to be able to retain control of the mouse.

I am a tech with a software company so I use GTA every day to connect to customers who are having issues with their program. This program makes connecting with customers very simple. I also really appreciate that I can easily invite an additional tech to join when there is a very difficult issue.  The unattended support option is also a great feature that allows me to connect to users after they have left for the day, making it easy to correct their problems without disrupting their workday.
