GoToAssist allows you to authenticate as an admin while in a remote session. Normally in a remote session, the remote screen would be obfuscated but this solution does not.
Also, if the request for remote access is not answered, the screen locks the active session but allows another account to be used.
There is a mobile app for the Android (we don't use Apple products) that allows administrators to view the OS and it is free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The method of updating the clients (example, version 3.2 to 3.3) is not always smooth and may cause a delay. There currently does not seem to be a way to force the update a head of time. The update seems to only occur at the time of connection.
Also, The mobile app can only an "over the shoulder" experience. Once connected, there isn't any remote access for smart phones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoToAssist allows for quick remote connection to any users I require working with and provides both a code and email method for me to create a connection. It also does not limit me to the software that I am supporting. I have full access to the users machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compatibility with MAC OS is limited in comparison to Microsoft. Sometimes the copy and paste function does not work and something I copy on my end will not paste onto theirs or something I copy on their end will not replace something I recently copied on my end. Unattended support. In my domain we setup our PC's for unattended support. As long the system is on, we are able to remote in without asking the user to clicking on a link or going to www.fastsupport.com and putting in a support ID number.
The chat feature is great when communicating with my users when provide updates when working on their system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More of a gripe. When supporting a user, then connects to VPN. The session freezes. The session sometimes disconnect and doesn't resume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The intuitive simplicity of Citrix is it's best attribute. It is software that just works. I can login on my personal computer, access my virtual desktop at work, connect to multiple monitors, and be productive anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only minor complaint I have is that for the software to truly work you must download the dedicated app. The 'Lite' version is not as good. This is very nitpicky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First, GoToAssist allows quick access to my clients' server via email links and providing my clients the access codes to be connected right away to their computers or servers. Secondly, I can record a session which the client can save the session I case an issue re-occurs again or the client can access the recorded session for future reference. Third, the ability to send a file when necessary via a file transfer tool, this way I can send my self an error messages, logs, and documenting to resolve my clients' server issues. Last but not least, GoToAssist is always reliable, and secure because it allows the end users to provide access to the mouse and keyboard in order for me to takeover the computer/server and resolve any issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Installing a plug-in for Non-IT users can be a challenge. Also, I would like to see a support for Tablets specifically IPad, Hopefully the developers can incorporate GoToAssist which can be compatible via tablets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This gives us the ability to remote into a user's computer and assist them with technical issues they are having. This helps reduce the time the customer has to spend on the phone, as well as gives us a visual way of teaching Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are times when the connection can be slow, or disconnects in the middle of a session Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have always liked the fact that GoToAssist has a very easy to understand User Interface. It is also very simple to explain to the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
