Because I'm new to e-discovery, they also never make me feel like a total idiot. I also like that the desktop doesn't seem as "busy" as other e-discovery platforms, e.g., Relativity. Sometimes, it was hard to read some of the documents due to poor photograph quality. If there is a way to invert the colors to parse those documents, that would be an ideal feature to consider. Some platforms have become "geek fests." That is, they are designed by software engineers for software engineers, and often with functional priorities that are NOT the priorities of the litigator. LOGIKCULL has taken the best of the functionalities that should attend a top tier platform and placed them within an interface that speaks to the legal profession and its mission. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** To date, I have not experienced a "dislike" of functionality or use. LOGIKCULL empowers the user with simplicity, with the tools to seamlessly integrate with the legal environment. But if I had to chose a dislike, it would be the company's selecting a "Frequently Asked Questions" approach to a comprehensive user manual. **Recommendations to others considering Logikcull:** Acquire and implement it sooner than later. You will never regret it! **What problems is Logikcull solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to ingest data (emails and non-email electronically stored information) cleanly, and to search it and create review sets effortlessly. Production is not the major issue it seems to be with most other platforms. Basically, LOGIKCULL runs itself. The benefit of empowerment at the Firm, as opposed to working through layers of project management for something like Relativity is beyond value. ### 12. Allows easy upload of document sets. Allows easy modification and addition of tags and comments. Easily allows mutiple users to collaborate on document reviews. All things considered, is fairly nimble and responsive in terms of load times for an online application. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** 1) Font size eats up MASSIVE screen real estate (especially in table view--which is arguably the single most useful view). 2) Does not allow for preferences, production templates, column settings, tag sets, redaction codes, and other common settings to be either bound-over from one project to another or exported and re-imported for use in more than one project (or if that is possible, there is no guidance on how to do that). 3) The production output menus are, in some areas, less than clear and "hide" settings unless the user specifically knows exactly where to find the settings (for instance page stamping and numbering choices). 4) Production output setup could be streamlined and preferably more automated by using reusable base templates for different / unrelated projects. 5) Does not allow for column settings to be shared with or bound to the workspaces of other project participants to ensure everyone sees the same thing. 6) Search boxes at top of search screen should be collapseable to save screen real estate. 7) Has a tendency to run very slow or lock-up when performing searches using filters. 8) Settings screens are less than intuitive. 9) Does not allow the creation of "Binders" or "Folders" to batch various groups of documents which may have varied and distinct tags (this would be a wonderful way to segregate production sets prior to output and is very common in other e-Discovery platforms.) 10) Re-processes documents too fast if tags are edited and the document is removed from the tag search/filter, resulting in the inability to add a new tag unless the user remembers to add a tag before removing the existing tag. 11) Re-processes search/filter after ever tag modification rather than keeping a "static" document list that notes the changes but does not update unti the user is done working with the list. 11) Not a huge issue, but would be nice to be able to reformat the print setup for Excel spreadsheets prior to production to avoid absolutely massively large documents when ooutput to PDF (I know this is more a function of how the spreadsheets work than Logikcull and is a problem for all e-discovery platforms, but figured I'd mention it). **Recommendations to others considering Logikcull:** Very good platform for small to medium-sized e-Discovery projects. **What problems is Logikcull solving and how is that benefiting you?** Review, processing, redaction, and production of large document sets. I wish there was an option whereby I could pay a little more, have my rep get in touch with the defendant directly, and just have the data migrated over. When I first started, I would receive a large production of documents and send it to my organization's IT person to upload, but eventually that person walked me through an upload process, and now I can do it myself comfortably. I haven't done serious document review myself yet, but I've attended meetings among my attorneys and a Logikcull representative, and the process seems intuitive, and we were able to talk through ways to break an enormous project into meaningful and achievable smaller projects. **What do you dislike about Logikcull?** I don't think this is something unique to Logikcull, but sometimes we receive documents that have been combined into one massive PDF. I believe there are good ways to use the Annotate feature to mark individual pages of the PDF as the team reviews it, but my impression is that Logikcull is much more useful for 3000 2-page documents than one 6000-page document. **What problems is Logikcull solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work for attorneys who need to receive, organize, and assess large volumes of documents.
