Once you do it's pretty easy to use **What problems is Logi Symphony solving and how is that benefiting you?** We currently use Dundas BI for business reveiws. Durning the reviews we go through financial metrics and non financial metrics that drive our business. It's really good in building KPI that show where we are at monthly and YTD. ### 2. Interactive dashboards, reasonable flexibility for various scripts, including CSS compatibility for design. Ad hoc product very useful for power users. Very pleasant user interface for the main product, with plenty of room for customization. **What do you dislike about Logi Symphony?** This is not easy to use without a LOT of practice. I found that more complicated SQL stored procedures did not easily import as hoped. Memory issues will occasionally happen on a limited server. The administrative controls are hard to learn at first. **What problems is Logi Symphony solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company has been looking to refine our business intelligence system, in hopes of moving to a full data warehouse system. What works, works 'out of the box'. Security is easy to setup across multiple instances, and the built-in toolsets allow for quick and easy report design and implementation. **What do you dislike about Logi Symphony?** The customization of reports is very limited. There are not a lot of options for designing specific reports that are tailored to customer specifications, and functionality within these basic reports is highly limited (without digging into the code). The user interface also feels rather dated. **What problems is Logi Symphony solving and how is that benefiting you?** The simple and fast deployment of reports is where Logi Analytics shines. Within a few minutes a functional report may easily be created and utilized for customer benefit. The built-in security features also allow for scalable, intuitive deployment across multiple instances and customer bases. What I like best about Logi is the ability to build pretty much anything as long as your know a decent amount about web development and have strong SQL skills. **What do you dislike about Logi Symphony?** There isn't much of an open community to help trouble-shoot issues. And you will run into some obscure behavior if you are heavily using the app where you need that community. Also, you need to to be very good at SQL to take advantage of Logi effectively. **Recommendations to others considering Logi Symphony:** We chose logi for the price and feature set. However, the ramp-up and training time for developers may be more expensive than other industry tools that have a higher license cost. **What problems is Logi Symphony solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Logi for a large range of problems, from high-level aggregate reporting of company health to showing a single sales representative their stats and rank for the day. Once you really understand Logi, the ability to take high-level metrics and drill-down to the very detailed layer can be done in an elegant way for the consumer. ### 19.
