What do you like best about Lob?

What do you dislike about Lob?

We found many bugs in LOB java SDK. We opened several support tickets. It seems like LOB doesn't have any testing for their product.

In Jan 2023, they released 5 versions, including 3 versions within 3 days. It seems the java SDK is not very stable.

Lately, I found a simple bug. I contact the supprot and got this reply:

"I appreciate your patience with my reply while I looked into this error for you with my engineering team. They have confirmed this is a bug within the Java SDK and have captured it to review for their product roadmap. However, I unfortunately do not have a timeline yet for when they will be able to release a fix for it. "

This is a very simple bug to fix. (support ticket 166857).

As a result of this bug, we started looking for a replacement for LOB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lob?

I like lob's advanced product that allows us to make our direct mail campaigns as targeted and dynamic as our digital campaigns.

I like that lob has an excellence customer success team that has been extremely helpful, proactive and knowledgeable.

What do you dislike about Lob?

Some opportunities for improvement:

1. The UI does encounter lots of bugs. It's comes up several times before when theoretically the UI could do something, but because of certain stipulations, we can’t use the UI and the Lob team has to do it for us anyway. Ie. hard to see what the final print design looks like without stitch lines. File capacity limits. limited functionality when seeing costs and sends over time.

2. Sometimes feels like the use case of the end user, someone who is not a developer and wants a simplier experience, and their experience and needs are not taken to account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lob?

It's simplicity and effectiveness, as well as fairly easy to integrate with custom solutions/apps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lob?

Uploading a file (manual sending of letters) is sometimes buggy and it rejects it for various trivial reasons. For example, the size is a couple of pixels smaller/larger than it has to be. Or the platform doesn't like something about the address. An easy fix would be to automatically fix those problems (uploading <> resizing) or suggesting an address that it can recognize. What do you like best about Lob?

I've had a great experience using Lob so far. Their customer service and account management teams are always prompt with responses. Their platform is easy to use and the updates they've made since I've started using them are well done and clearly show they listen to their customer base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lob?

In the past the reporting was more minimal but they've made a lot of improvements on that! Really the only downside is their pricing is dependent on mail prices changing but they don't determine that obviously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lob?

We have a time sensitive marketing segment who we need to send daily direct mail to. Lob's Salesforce integration has allowed us to completely automate this process. Having this process run in the background is very valuable! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lob?

The fact that the Lob team rolls out new features so often, means that there are sometimes some "rough edges." However, once the team is notified, they resolve any issues quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lob?

What do you like best about Lob?

I love that it's very easy using are Salesforce program connected to LOB and with just a click, letters are mailed and our letters look seemless Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lob?

Maybe we would like to be notified of changes that happen. Like if our Product team uploads a new letter template, if theres a way emails can be added that get notified of that? Not sure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
