## LivingSocial Reviews
 ### 1. Shein version of Groupon -- Don't use!

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taiya K. | Director of Sales, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2023

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

Truthfully, I've only had bad experiences with LivingSocial which has prompted me to stop using the app after they didn't deliver my product multiple times and received no refunds.

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

Living social have acknowledged receipt of money yet failed to send goods or to offer a refund. All they offer is a credit on another order. Watch out for this company, it feels like a scam.

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing, this business has caused more problems than solved any for me and I would not recommend. Use Groupon which is tried and true rather than this sad excuse for a business.

 ### 2. A Boost To The Future

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt H. | Social Media, Administrator & FOH Lead Coordinator, Restaurants, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

The opportunity to build business sales and reach new customers through a popular website is great

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

Most of the companies are for massage and hair cutting and places where the price points don't reflect the high cost of the product. It seems like the service is more of a coupon than a certificate

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to boost sales and bring in new business and reach new customers by providing them a new incentive

 ### 3. Living Social

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

This app is great for people who want to be adventurous but also save some money. It has the same set up as Groupon. Many dining, activities, traveling, spa, and sporting activities are available to buy a discounted certificate for. It also pin points your specific area to offer you more local opportunities. This app allows many more people to participate in fun activities because of the discounted prices. When you do end up buying a voucher for an advertised service, it gets neatly stored in your "my vouchers" so you can easily find it later. if you can quite convince yourself to buy something in the moment you can add it to another feature they have called "my wishlist", making finding just what you want later, easier.

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

Most offers have expiration dates. People either do not have time to use it before that specific date or they do not realize they have passed the deadline, making their offed now invalid. There is also problems sometimes when redeeming the offers or switching over their currency.

**Recommendations to others considering LivingSocial:**

If you enjoy using Groupon or saving money, you will enjoy using LivingSocial to find great deals!

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using this app provides me with an opportunity to see what is out in the community. Seeing all the options of activities out there makes it super easy to want to go out in town and get involved. I would suggest this app to anyone looking for a good deal. This is also a great thing to use to buy gifts for others.

 ### 4. Great social amplification platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2020

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

Very great UI. Very easy to use without many bugs. easy for users to share as well.

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

Would help if we got more direction in terms of the gamification methods. How to get users more engaged.

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was another role in itself pretty much, but it was definitely a helpful tool to get the word out and increase overall engagement.

 ### 5. Living Social Provides Discounts for Everyday Needs and Indulging Wants

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

Living Social offers discounts on events and admission to events and facilities at a discounted rate. From holiday beer tastings, to pampering at the spa, to restaurant credit, Living Social deals make great gifts for friends, family and co-workers. Discounted items are also available for purchase.

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

Sometimes, the fine print of the deal excludes using the deal in the way I intend to. For example, I may intend to visit a location that I bought a deal for, but the fine print limits to weekday visits only, so I'm not able to visit on a weekend like I intended.

**Recommendations to others considering LivingSocial:**

While I'd always enjoy seeing more diversity and options in available deals, I highly recommend purchasing a deal early in it's availability so it doesn't sell out. The "selling fast" icon feature alerts you to these type of deals.

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Living Social is beneficial because I often like to try new things, like visiting a museum, dining at a restaurant I've never been to, etc. Co-workers and I enjoy visiting places near our office and Living Social provides the means to do so at an affordable cost.

 ### 6. Outstanding Platform For Every Day Deals

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawn M. | Owner, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

I like that living social is a platform that offers a large variety of deals that make dining and travel convenient and cost friendly. They make it easy to grab a good deal on our printed goods and client gifts that are great quality.

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

I wish there were an easier way to purchase more than one deal at a time. There are times when we like to purchase deals, such as tickets to a performance, but the platform requires one ticket purchases when we may need two or three. It would be easier to be able to purchase multiples at one time and be given a limit to how many can be purchased (if that's the reason it's one at a time).

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to get great discounts on our printing materials. That's improved our marketing costs and our bottom line. We've also been able to reduce the cost of our client gift budget through the ability to shop living social's great deals. These gifts also make outstanding giveaways, which bring us more traffic.

 ### 7. Living Social- Catered to you

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lena N. | Sr. Full Life Cycle Technical Recruiter, Confluence & Enterprise Cloud , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

Living Social is a great site to use to find catered deals for your own personal & work needs. You can find great experiences for your specific area/location, as well as group travel, shopping, beauty & spas, food & drinks. I've also used living social for accessibility to plan group dinners & team bonding events. It's a great way to save money on group prices, rather than individual prices.

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

There is nothing that I dislike about the company.

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Living Social is accessible, and customized specifically to cater to your own personal & work needs. Oftentimes I'm trying to find team dinners/happy hours that can allow big parties, as well as accommodate a specific budget. Living Social makes my job so much more easier & affordable.

 ### 8. So easy & so much fun stuff!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kassie K. | Lead Research Assistant, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

They have so many fun options for gifts or for fun things to give yourself!

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

I wish there was a link to external reviews, rather than just in-app reviews.

**Recommendations to others considering LivingSocial:**

I recommend getting the app for easy browsing on the go!

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are a lot of options for group outings/social events & it's easy to make in-app purchases, very efficient!

 ### 9. Buy and sell with ease!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

You can find some really great deals for last minute trips! Discover areas you wouldn't have thought of before. Easy to use and saves a ton of money. There are also all sorts of different options available - from exciting trips to getting your nails painted!

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

Sometimes there aren't enough options. I also hate when deals expire before I have a chance to grab them. On occasion, the site has frozen or there has been a bit of a delay in receiving my confirmation emails.

**Recommendations to others considering LivingSocial:**

Definitely worth checking out, you never know what you'll find!

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the benefits are making services and trips more affordable and accessible to everyone. Great when you are trying to plan something special or when you want to get a thoughtful gift for someone.

 ### 10. Good Place to buy goods and services at a discount

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick T. | Web Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

cheap hotels or products similar to Groupon. Easy to navigate see what kind of deals you want local or pick the city you are going too for food deals or hotel deals.

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

emails all the time about deals locally not that fun getting multiple emails a day.

**Recommendations to others considering LivingSocial:**

a good way to get your company some business and build your brand!

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

saves bussiness money which is great but doesnt seem to help businesses selling on there platoform which allows you to sell but they keep 30% or more of money being made

 ### 11. Okay app but groupon always has better deals for corporate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ibrahim A. | Accounts Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

Good and cheap deals - you find a wide array of things and I like the fact that you can sort by price and view specific deals for your company

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

I don't like how its very individualized (for the individual consumer) and not very much geared towards larger corporate groups (i.e. 12+ people).

**Recommendations to others considering LivingSocial:**

Play around and look at different areas/cities to find better deals

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us organize fun work events and social gatherings for the team. Benefits: everyone gets much closer after a competitive round of bowling.

 ### 12. Cheap thrills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judea H. | Family educator/ Special education teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about LivingSocial?**

I love how I can get great deals on all local activities for me and my son to do when we are bored on a weekend. I’ve found things to do, and clothes to wear on the site.

**What do you dislike about LivingSocial?**

Sometimes, it takes a while for some things to load and I wish they let you buy more than 1 a day on some items.

**What problems is LivingSocial solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m a teacher, so finding cheap deals on supplies and using some outings on field trips are great for me. I used a voucher I purchased on T-shirt’s for me classroom.
