Inability to turn off output sound on a device during an event (we want to use two cameras but have to plug in headphones as output sound won't go to zero) It's buggy with the unmute and turn on/off camera. I organized a 1st roundtable as a test and thought i was in a free trial : after 15mn, Livestorm told me it could expel everyone in 5mn if I did not pay. I never had this information before. I found myself paying 120EUR to be a business user for a month whereas I am not convinced by the tool. - The app is complex to understand and requires to invest time to understand it. - For a roundtable, the question system is complex to understand - and hardly accessible to people who are on their phone. - I find it globally uneasy, not intuitive, and expensive, and I will go back to Zoom and GMeet in general, Teams for corporates. **What problems is Livestorm solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking for an app for video conferences and webinar, and was interested in testing alternatives to Zoom, GMeet, Teams. The app was more complex, i did not see clear advantages. I appreciate its easy access, after a short training I was able to use it with no problem. I also appreciate all the options : being able to receive questions, answer them, being able to download the information after the webinair. They offer the possibility to do different types of webinars which is great. As a speaker I find it user friedly : easy navigation when I'm live on a webinar. Another good point is that it is easy to do reportings. The Customer Support is good, everytime that I had to deal with them, they provided me with a quick and good quality response. **What do you dislike about Livestorm?** The only minus that I would put to the platfom is that when you want to register a participant to a webinar a lot of times you will have a captcha that is appearing on your screen. I do get the importance, but I feel like it's too much. **What problems is Livestorm solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps us plan in advance all our webinars, sending reminder emails and recordings. Sorry! **What do you dislike about Livestorm?** The UI is very poorly designed and confusing and I could barely figure out how to use it. During the event, the screen sharing only allows you to share one window so if you need to switch windows you have to "unshare" then "reshare." You must use it in browser and it must be in Chrome. The overall aesthetic of the platform is dated and bland. I was dissapointed that my company partner switched from Lu.ma to Livestorm--big downgrade. Tons of necessary features allowing great interaction with webinar participants - starting from polls and ending with questions with voting systems. Also, the addons, that allow to give handouts, share pdfs, design the room the way you want it - are just amazing. Also, I really love that it is easy to register people, and then analyse the data after the events - who participated, if they have asked questions, how they voted etc. Really extensive analytics from the xls. reports. I have not yet checked all of the integrations with other software, but it seems to support quite an extensive list of apps with many built-in features. Upd: I really like the integration with HubSpot - it is really convenient to use. And, one last thing, the customer support was so far quite helpful and fast in answering questions. **What do you dislike about Livestorm?** Some features are made a bit in an, let's say, illogical way. Lot's of repetitive tasks - if I want to make my own design of the registration page of the event - I have to set it up separately for every event there is. No template creation is available. If I want to make the design of the room - same story as before, you always need to set it up again. Same goes with the automatic emails before/after the events. Lot's of repetitive tasks, that could be easily avoided if there were templates. One other thing - quality of the video. If on Teams, Zoom, Google Meet the quality and speed is (almost) always impeccable, on Livestorm it is quite often slow or lagging (and no, it is not a connectivity problem). The video freezes, says it tries to reconnect... It's just not good. The only solution in this case is to be in the presentation mode all the time (and have presenter's video in a small screen where people can't see lags). For some weird reason - uploaded pdfs don't lag (but if you share your screen - it will lag). And one last thing - the pricing system of tiers is quite exponential. 100, 200, then immediately 500 participants - it's a big quantity of people and, eventually, a price hop. They are not flexible with that. **What problems is Livestorm solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows to host the webinars in a way that suits us, and helps us to connect to relevant stakeholders. ### 45. As far as implementation, it's fairly intuitive but there is no formal onboarding, you have "Livestorm U" tutorials and then you can set up a Q+A with your rep. We had an issue with SSO and tried reaching out for assistance, the chat is impossible and unfortunately our rep was OOO, our systems team got it sorted out on time thankfully. I'ts nice to have the option for polls, chat, and questions. Though the ability to have anonymous Q+A would be a welcome and needed addition. **What do you dislike about Livestorm?** There are still mobile issues that need fixed. Users have had problems with polls not going away after dismissing them and being uable to watch the rest of the content. Automations are nice but clunky, you have to 'x' out of them to then continue the stream.
