I love that you can customize the point system to your specific policy. This can be done school-wide or specific to your classroom. Points can be attached to certain behaviors that you want to support or see more of. We are using this strictly as a PBS system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app does not hold login credentials. It would be much more useful if we were able to actually use the app on our phones. Points could be awarded in the hallway or outside. Not being able to do this is a huge opportunity missed as this is when students need the positive reinforcement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like using LiveSchool because it has multiple functions that make anyone who wants to give some content or a course to take advantage of it in a very satisfactory way, it also makes the students involved have the desire to commit much more to their educational process. Since the system offers you the option of giving incentives to students through points that they can earn with small tasks. I really like to use it in my work when we have to train staff in a certain subject, or when we teach a course, because it allows me to monitor their progress and commitment. Sometimes it can crash when logging in on some mobile devices, or it gets stuck and one is forced to restart the phone. It is much better to use it from the computer, since sometimes the same application becomes slow on the phones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the versatility of the platform. There are so many functions that work well together. The software is well integrated and well thought out. The path from one page to another is logical and intuitive. Every time I had a problem with liveschool, I would get a response quickly. And they are also eager to accept suggestions.
As an alternative school, we still give grades and needed a platform that would allow for professional looking reports. This software also allows you to optimize and customize the reports according to the preferences of each teacher. Fast, highly flexible and detailed model deployment. Easy to use, you can quickly create different what-if scenarios or custom dashboards to keep track of. I like how easy it is to use grade placement, find grades, set parameters, and make changes at the student level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really don't like the feature that moves all assignments from one year to the next. I change assignments every year and now I have to delete them as we go from one grading period to the next. It can be cumbersome to adjust the grading scales, although I don't know if it's a software issue or an administrative issue at the school I currently serve. I like that you can track behaviors. It allows you to identify issues easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not as user-friendly as I would like. I can use paper and pencil to log the same information more efficiently. The student-view is not helpful for students to truly understand where they lack because they have to scroll so far to see their points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing LiveSchool offers are the paychecks, the ability to modify categories to fit your school needs, and provides a space to easily track trends- negative and positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is biggest issue. It crashes often and stalls a lot which limits what you can do with it as a classroom management tool in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite part of using Liveschool is that it allows me to reward students who are exhibiting desired behavior. It is also a polite nudge to those who are not. By implementing a reward system that runs quietly in the background, Liveschool can be implemented for all grade levels. In addition, the point system is independent of any reward system - allowing schools to select rewards for certain point levels and consequences for points lost. If I could change anything about Liveschool, it would be to make finding individual student reports easier. As it is, I feel like I have to jump through hoops to get there, and I often forget the pathway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
