**What do you like best about Litmos?**

We have worked with Litmos since 2018 and I have to say everything has been great with the company! The implementation process was easy, and they give you someone who guides you through the process. They give you training courses to help you set things up as well. Their customer support is great; all our Account Reps and Managers we have had over the years have been awesome! The system works great for us and meets our needs. There are some things that I am wishing for in the future, but the great thing is you can give your suggestions on what you would like to see with Litmos and then vote on it. That is how they enhance their system through customer feedback, which I think is great! Their online library has good material as well. I just love everything about Litmos! Great product!

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

Honestly, the only thing I dislike about Litmos is the fact that you cannot select all when sending out email notifications to the learners in the system. When you select all it is just everyone on that page, so if you have over 1k learners training to a course, you have to send out email notifications page by page. It is very time consuming.

**Recommendations to others considering Litmos:**

We have looked at other systems, and we noticed that if you make a wish list of everything you want to accomplish in the LMS, it makes it easier to select the right one. Play around in the system to see if you would like it for the company. Ask a lot of questions.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Litmos to train on our controlled documents so we stay 21 CR Part 11 compliant with the FDA. We used to train on documents and then sign a training report which was filed in the company by department and month/date for each document. The Regulatory team would conduct internal audits on the departments to make sure everyone is training to the correct documents based on their job duties and job title.

It was very labor intensive with a lot of paperwork. Now that it went electronic, we hope that the auditing will improve and there won't be that many CAPA issued internally. Hopefully the FDA if they show up to audit us, we can have a successful audit with them. We have stream-lined the process for the company and all our divisions. We also use the system for any internal training that we execute throughout the company as well.

We started to implement competency-based quizzes into the training and using their Boost feature. This is helping us gauge who is actually comprehending the training documents and who still needs more training. 

We also are using ILT for training sessions through Teams, so we can run reports to log who attended the training on what days in case there are questions from the FDA in the future on something.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

The support from Litmos is superb, check in's are brilliant and nothing is ever too much to ask! The Litmos LMS system is really good and for both creating content and monitoring compliance - let alone the amount of courses available off the shelf! The ability to SCORM file in is brilliant, it has opened up many possibilities we are currently exploring to make the learning even more interactive.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

Some of the reporting aspects are a little overcomplicated, but there is help available via the Dojo and other useful links. Some of the functionality such as quirky escalation rules means you cannot select all users and must go through each individual page to reset some - in a recent case 35 pages was needed to select all users.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are solving our Training Needs Analysis issue which we have been looking the do for some time. This will mean we are 'water tight' when it comes to audit.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

A highly desired feature has finally rolled out to Litmos customers, which is the Custom Roles & Permissions option! We are a complex organization comprised of various personnel/departments with unique positions and responsibilities. This new Litmos feature will allow us to streamline those unique users into a more intuitive role that suites their needs within the platform. This is truly a gamechanger for how we utilize Litmos across our global network!

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

One area of improvement for Litmos is the reporting feature. They are working on updating this feature, which we appreciate!

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For years, our various training areas throughout the organization have been housed and delivered via different avenues and platforms. The organization lacked a central platform where all areas of organizational training could be created, housed, and delivered. Litmos has solved this problem, and it's been a long time coming for the organization!

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

The ease of use for many in our 29 child accounts. The autonomy that they have over our accounts and the leadership we can provide as a parent account. The recent shift in Litmos account management - customer success has also be very welcomed. We have an outstanding group of customer support, most specifically our Custom Success Manager, Corinne LaPlaca. She has exceeded expectations and then some. Our User Group is very strong and even stronger over the past year with our connection to Corinne and the rest of the team at Litmos (Victoria & Stephanie).

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

Litmos Support, although solid at times, can be difficult to connect with on certain issues.

Provides the right learning managment system to enable quality mandatory trainings to be provided to staff who serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New York State.

The Litmos platform for administrators is very user friendly. I appreciate the continuous improvements which are so intuitive that no announcement or training is needed.  Our account manager provides great support, checking in with us regularly, and recommending improvements.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

If your organization can only afford a baseline package, you'll miss out on great functionality like their AI features, which - consequently - translate to a less-than-ideal end user experience.  Make the extra investment.  It's worth it!

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Litmos ensures ease of access by our employees, enabling us to ensure we drive mandatory training on a set schedule.  The automated reminders make accountability and visibility to leadership easy.  In addition, Litmos makes it very easy for us to create, publish, and assign custom training quickly.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

The ease of use for creating your own content along with the ability to bolt on LITMOS Heroes, thousands of pre-prepared content.  This allows us to keep the internal culture key while also allowing staff to develop in other ways.  When we were looking for an elearning platform there were lots of companies out there however we needed the basics to be done well - this strong foundation along with their continual development made them the perfect partner for us.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

At the beginning the support wasn't as robust as it is now, the UK team have an excellent customer liaison.  There has been a marked improvement in their support over the last 12 months.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to turn our learning platform into an appraisal platform, using the existing functionality along with help bespoking it we are able to find something to meet our needs.  We have used the platform to increase confidence in sales teams when they complete their yearly financial and insurance exams - leading to less time out of the business and more motivation.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

I like the flexibility with the team structure in Litmos. It really helps because at our company, we have specific reporting needs and a chain of command. Litmos allows people to see down their chain of command without having to sort their own data, which is super helpful. Plus, we can give the right permissions at the right spot, making learning delivery more efficient. This setup also lets us automate training delivery based on job title and location, which fits perfectly with our operational needs.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

I wish the activities dashboard kept more than sixty days of data. Sometimes, we have to do an audit and look back at things that happened more than sixty days ago. The reporting engine generally takes care of this issue, so it's not a big deal.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Litmos automates training delivery for our 350+ locations, eliminating manual intervention. It organizes training based on job title and location, providing flexibility in team structure to meet reporting and learning needs without sorting data manually.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

I really appreciate how helpful the Litmos customer support has been. The platform's ability to create content and manage learning paths is a valuable resource for our team training days. It's great that Litmos helps us stay on top of compliance and provides opportunities for growth, aligning with our mission of distributing food and ending hunger in Eastern Massachusetts. Plus, from what I understand, the initial setup with Litmos was very easy, thanks to their support.

I'd love to be able to add or modify the columns in reports to better understand the usage of Litmos. It would also be great to have team members rate content and for me to see those ratings to determine what material stands out and what could be improved.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

I really like how easy the Litmos platform is to navigate, whether from the admin perspective or user perspective. The courses that are already created and available in the library are a great feature. Plus, the AI tool for creating courses is awesome because it is very easy to use, making course creation a breeze. It's so user-friendly and comprehensive that we didn't have to invest much in training to roll out the system to users.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

The AI course creation would benefit from having the assessment questions also being made by AI. The documentation upload process needs fixing to make it easier for users to sign and upload documents.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Litmos for compliant tracking, analytics, and learning management. It's easy to navigate, from an admin to user perspective, with a course library and AI tools for course creation. It helps roll out the system to users without much training needed.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

I like that Litmos is always iterating on their design, constantly trying to improve and make it better and more appealing both visually and technically. I'm especially fond of the option customization for the learner dashboard and login page, which has been greatly beneficial. Plus, the integrations with SaaS single sign-on are really handy. The ongoing improvements to the reporting features and functionality are also a big positive for me, especially how they allow different people to function in their own custom roles and positions. Permissions have been a game changer for us.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

I think they could do more with the reporting feature allowing us to filter things differently and just making it a little more straightforward. Also, it would be great if the manager portal had a little more functionality in terms of changing their learners' enrollments and things like that and being able to adjust those features and customize those for ourselves.

Litmos solves the problem of having continuity across platforms by consolidating training content, making it easy to track and providing one source of truth.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

Infinitely customisable and straightforward to use, it’s easy to create bespoke courses and bulk-upload data. The reporting function is superb, with an easy-to-use export option as well as the built-in emailer. Client support is fantastic too, with regular, real-time calls to ensure our satisfaction and to help us provide the best user experience possible.

Remote access via the app gives users access to all of their completed training, along with any relevant documentation that has been uploaded.

We use Litmos every day for ongoing CPD and compliance training, and all users—from the tech-savvy to inexperienced or first-time users—find it easy to navigate the menus and locate what they need.

We also have a large library of bespoke training documents and videos, and integrating these with Litmos was simple and creates a seamless interface for the end user.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

Until I’ve completed all the levels of the DOJO package and fully understand how the system works and processes data, it can be frustrating to create reports and locate the compliance data I need.

Tracking compliance in real time for a large workforce, while also providing the flexibility for self-guided learning, has been a real benefit. It makes centrally held record-keeping easy to manage and access from any location.

The Litmos course catalogue provides a wide and practical range of courses that support the needs of our learners across different areas. We especially value the compliance courses, which are well-structured, reliable, and meet requirements that other third-party providers have struggled to cover to the same standard. Their content integrates well into our LMS and plays an important role in strengthening our overall learning provision.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

While the course library is strong, we sometimes find there is limited flexibility to tailor or contextualise content for our specific organisational needs. Greater ability to customise or localise elements would make the courses even more impactful for our learners.

Litmos helps us address the ongoing need for high-quality, ready-made learning content, particularly in compliance areas where accuracy and coverage are critical. **What do you like best about Litmos?**

Creating a CAT module is easy and intuitive. So is the process of creating a course and a learning path, along with the options under the setting tab. 'Boost' is another very useful feature. The layout of people, teams and features under account settings is a nice design. Overall, the interface is simple and clean, user-friendly, and mobile-compatible. The fact that it is a cloud-based LMS is a huge plus, since implementation is quick and efficient. We also spend lesser time on user support.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

The reporting tab is not as intuitive and requires a lot of configuration to deliver reports. Tracking specific custom fields and analyzing learner data is a lot more work than it should be. I have also run into occasional issues with the search functionality on the people tab, and when using the reporting engine. Within the CAT tool, I would like to see more options in terms of components, and more flexibility with options like font size.

1. Litmos allows us to create custom learning paths for different cohorts (customers/partners) ensure that learning content is not assigned to the wrong person.

2. Internal compliance training becomes more streamlined, with centralized reporting.

3. The CAT tool helps ensure that we can make interactive learning content and keep our learners present and engaged.

4. The Content Library allows us to deliver bite-sized micro-learning modules for specific use cases.

I like the bulk uploading/creating of people.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

I really don't like that I can't bulk clear out contents from user defined fields. LIke if a UDF changes and I need to clear out the contents from the Custom Fields, I can't send in a bulk update to clear them out. And if i delete them, then nothing changes on the reporting end. It causes confussion for team members who don't understand bulk imports and are pulling the wrong information for their reports (that aren't being monitored)

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

The Litmos platform has been ideal for supporting both our new franchisee onboarding and internal compliance training. We particularly value how easy it is to create, assign, and track learning content across our large and diverse network of both our franchisees and colleagues. It's customisation features are excellent and help make it feel part of our own tech offering.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

The system can sometimes feel a little rigid when we want to tailor content journeys for different learner groups. Reporting and analytics are good but could be more customisable with personalised dashboards.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For new franchisees, it supports a smooth onboarding experience, guiding them through essential learning in a structured, trackable way. For our existing community, it ensures compliance modules and business updates are completed efficiently and on time.

This has reduced the administrative burden for our Learning & Development team, improved visibility of training progress, and allowed us to maintain high standards across a large and geographically dispersed network.

At Whatfix, our major product enablement and compliance learning content is created and managed centrally through Litmos. We extensively utilize every available feature within our Litmos instance from course creation and curriculum management to reporting, assessments, and certifications. The platform’s flexibility and scalability make it easy to manage large volumes of learning content and users efficiently. Its intuitive interface, robust automation options, and detailed analytics help streamline administration and ensure a seamless learning experience for our teams and customers alike.

There isn’t anything specific to dislike about Litmos, but there are a few areas where enhancements could make administration even more efficient. For instance, introducing more automation options across reporting, bulk data imports, and learner progress updates would help streamline repetitive tasks. Additional flexibility in customizing dashboards and generating consolidated analytics reports would also be a great value add for large-scale enablement programs.

As one of the primary system administrators in our Learning & Development team, I have gained extensive experience using Litmos LMS, and it has consistently proven to be a reliable and innovative platform for our organisation’s learning requirements. Litmos distinguishes itself through its straightforward implementation and smooth integration with our HRIS, which greatly reduces manual work and maintains data consistency across our systems. The platform’s intuitive design benefits both learners and administrators, making the adoption process both smooth and scalable.

One aspect I particularly appreciate is our regular fortnightly calls with our Account Manager, Stephanie McGhee-Walker. Her insights into upcoming changes, industry trends, and new technologies have been extremely valuable. Her proactive approach has enabled us to stay ahead and adapt our learning strategy to meet our business’s evolving needs.

In summary, Litmos is a robust LMS that offers strong functionality paired with excellent customer support. It is well-suited for organisations aiming to confidently scale their learning programmes.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

One area that could benefit from enhancement is platform utilisation tracking within the admin reporting suite. While Litmos offers a range of reports, more granular visibility into how learners engage with the platform would empower admins to make more data-driven decisions and better demonstrate ROI to Senior Stakeholders and Leadership.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Following our separation from our parent company, we were left without a dedicated LMS or learning suite. Litmos has filled that gap and enabled us to build a comprehensive learning ecosystem. It supports:
• Soft skills development
• Importing and tracking mandatory training
• Creating personalised learning paths (e.g. central and functional onboarding, leadership development, pre-work)
• Planning for ILT workshops in 2026

Essentially, Litmos has become our one-stop shop for all things L&D, allowing us to centralise and scale our learning strategy with confidence.

I really enjoy that the Litmos reporting has gotten slightly easier. I also like that creating modules is pretty seamless. Creating content is very quick and easy, especially uploading SCORM files. The initial setup was pretty easy and seamless.

I have been using Litmos for the past six months, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! One of the standout features is the excellent customer support. Whenever I have a question or need assistance, their team responds quickly and is incredibly helpful.

My employer chose the Litmos On-Demand Administration for our instance, and it has been nothing short of wonderful. We hold regular implementation meetings to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The system is user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and manage our learning programs effectively. I particularly appreciate the robust reporting functions, which provide valuable insights into learner progress and engagement. I have several saved reports emailed to me weekly to help monitor our learners’ progress.

Another major advantage has been the Single Sign-On feature for our learners. This has made a significant difference compared to our previous LMS, where we frequently had to assist users in resetting their passwords. Now, our learners can access their courses effortlessly, greatly enhancing their overall experience.

Out of the box, it's not the most intuitive interface. It's not bad by any means, but we wanted something that any level of employee could easily navigate and get to where they needed to go. Limited functionalities with integrations. We do have an integration set up with BambooHR. When onboarding new users/employees, sometimes their accounts feed over to Litmos and sometimes they do not from BambooHR. Litmos can be pretty rigid at times.  There are some things that we would like to do in Litmos (that seems feasible in today's software environment) that we cannot accomplish. Setting up webinars feels a bit clunky - which is what I can say about most of Litmos.  It works, but it can feel clunky.  The design feels outdated as well.

As someone who has never administered an LMS before, I find it extremely user-friendly.  The feedback from our learners has also been positive in the ease of its use and it doesn't require too much training/demo for first-time learners.

It's great to see the roadmap of what's to come and see some focus turn to customer training, and not just for internal employee purposes.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

The lack of being able to complete bulk updates to users.  i.e. If there is an instance of an M&A with one of our customers, and all email addresses have to be changed, we're unable to perform a bulk update to those users - including their username.

The Reporting Engine - I would prefer to be able to start with selecting the aspects of what I want in the report, rather than trying to figure out if I want a user report vs a course report from the start.

Both of these enhancements would create a more efficient Administrator experience.

His expertise in explaining various processes in Litmos has been crucial in helping us get the best use of the platform. Additionally, the ability to upload all our training history from previous LMSs into one central location helps immensely. I love how Litmos offers a smooth, consistent way to deliver online training to all of our offices in remote locations. The platform's decent reporting capabilities allow us to consistently track how our learning is completed, which is incredibly beneficial. I find the most baseline features, such as the ability to deliver training remotely either via desktop or mobile device, extraordinarily useful. The capability to host a variety of content types, including SCORM files, documents, videos, and assessments and surveys, is also highly valuable. I appreciate the ease of use associated with Litmos, which is complemented by dedicated support from its employees. The initial setup was not difficult thanks to the assistance from Litmos representatives who helped onboard us and liaised with our IT department, ensuring all technical elements were in place smoothly.

I find the automatic assignment of courses based on job titles particularly useful, as it simplifies the process and ensures that the necessary training is aligned with specific roles. Additionally, the visualization of training by learners and the ability to create content are key aspects that I find valuable.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

I found setting up Litmos challenging due to our organization's large size and unique structure. Customizing roles and permissions was particularly difficult, especially with the various levels of permissions needed for different types of employees, including volunteers versus regular staff. There are also differences in roles and permissions based on job duties rather than positions. Additionally, I am not entirely satisfied with the reporting capabilities. I wish there was a better reporting system that allows team leaders to create and customize reports more effectively.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Litmos to unify training insights across our organization, aiding in role assignment, supporting staff development, and internal and external audits.  It provides an encompassing view of learner training, helping us determine optimal role fits and collaborative support. Lastly it allows us to track hands-on training, which we previously had no way to track/measure completion.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

The greatest advantage of using Litmos is its ability to present and track any form of media you can create or purchase.  I've used it for SCORM files, video files, 3D Interactive models, web pages, as well as external links and ILTs.  Everything tracked with zero problems.  You can do just about anything with it and it has served me well for 7 years.

This program was a breeze to implement.  The transition of old completion records into the Litmos system was easy, and we had help at every step of the way from their support team.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

Reporting (as it currently stands) is weak. It can handle the typical manager and team lead request, but anything more than that requires me to use the API to pull data into a data visualization program.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Litmos has not stopped improving its product features since we first implemented it eight years ago.  This is one of the few programs I've managed that listens to the customer base when it comes to enhancement and improvement.  Most recently, they overhauled the roles and permissions configuration, giving us greater granularity and customization for what our users can do in the system.  That alone has saved my support team hours in maintenance and reporting/assignment work.  The support team is helpful and nimble, which is especially helpful when we have to pivot.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

Litmos a very customizable platform. With all of the updates in the last year especially, it is a modern-looking, easy-to-use platform. We have multiple ways of receiving support, a fantastic Customer Success Manager available to answer questions, and regular webinars that are offered to keep up-to-date with new product releases. The content authorizing tools and AI features have made creating content in-house a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

Not being able to customize email templates per assignment is inconvenient at times.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Litmos is doing a lot to stay on the cutting-edge of LMSs. From the custom roles and permissions to AI Assistant to updated reporting features, the platform is constantly getting better and more easy to use.

**What do you like best about Litmos?**

The pricing model works for our use case.  We built our customer university on Litmos with on-demand learning videos to help with their onboarding/implementation process, and we do not charge for this service, so we have thousands of users.  The pricing model of MAU tier pricing model is perfect cause we have a fluctuating volume of MAU instead of having to pay a PUPM model.

I will also say our CSm is very responsive and good at spending time with us as needed.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

I would say it's pretty inflexible with reporting.  They have a "reporting engine" but i say creating any custom report gives me a headache, and most of the time, after i download the report as a CSV, I have to spend time further revising the report in CSV format.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We built our customer university on the Litmos solution and it allows us to deliver on-demand training that helps with onboarding/implementation of a new customer and new users for those customers.

Customer service and partnership working are second to none. The look, feel, and general UX are great. Incredibly accessible and ever-evolving content.

**What do you dislike about Litmos?**

Genuinely difficult to answer. There are a couple of features, such as deeper reporting and having greater flexibility with creating dashboards, that would be good, but with fortnightly updates, these are not likely to be far off.

**What problems is Litmos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With a majority workforce age demographic of between 16 and 25 in a compliance-driven environment, it is important that our learning offering is engaging and valuable. Litmos does this in spades using humour and up-to-date practices in a way that overcomes challenges of disengagement and 'ticking boxes'. As a multi-site business where only managers have access to IT systems, the brandable app is a key vehicle to reach our people.

It helps us create custom classes that don't fit in our normal process, and it's great for keeping track of courses that we're required to complete from the state. I also found the initial setup of Litmos to be very easy.

One of our biggest challenges was assigning permissions and organizing content access for our wide network of local entities and stakeholders. Litmos' Teams functionality has allowed us to streamline group-based permissions, ensuring that users receive access to the right training based on their specific roles and regions. Additionally, Litmos' localization capabilities have dramatically improved the learner experience by supporting multiple languages natively, which is critical for our global organization. The flexibility to customize collection homepages through HTML and CSS has allowed us to create visually compelling and functionally rich landing pages directly within the platform.
