## Lineview Reviews
  ### 1. Insightful Dashboards and Strong Collaborative Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gareth P. | Continuous Improvement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

I like using LineView for analyzing our performance data on-site, which pinpoints where our losses and opportunities are. This is really helpful for our performance management meetings. I also appreciate how it allows us to assign projects and engineering resources effectively. The navigator feature, especially, with its insightful dashboards and detailed information, is a notable step improvement from the previous version. The collaboration with LineView has been positive, and the team's response to issues is pretty good. Having used it with Power BI in the past, I found creating bespoke dashboards to visualize data a real time saver. Overall, it's a valuable tool for supporting performance improvement.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

When I'm looking at the data, sometimes it can be a little bit of a light depending on when it's updated. Also, the initial setup, especially with the earlier system B five, was difficult and required a lot of resources and time. For the legacy lines, not having a full license on every machine center was challenging, especially when dealing with conveyor signals.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LineView gives us a clear view of where our losses and opportunities are, helping us address issues quickly. It integrates into our performance meetings and allows us to measure our KPIs effectively. It's also useful for assigning projects and managing resources.

  ### 2. CI usage

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Lineview factory view (old lineview that is web based) is easy to navigate, extract information, visually managed to clearly show losses. The SIC function is easy to use and clear.

Lineview navigator is not as user friendly. The cloud based system has a user interface which is not as easy to navigate, use or clearly see where losses are. I think the positives of old LV need ported to navigator.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

I've stated that its navigator I don't enjoy using. The UI needs work, navigating through the different windows is not as easy as old LV. The visual management isnt as good either. It's definitely not as flexible either, using navigator, you can only view previous 7 day losses. Any larger timeframes require using the BI dashboards which are slow and not really useful anyway.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It shows losses on the lines which is good, navigator needs to overhauled and I'd suggest reviewing what went well with the web based version and replicating it to navigator.

  ### 3. Easy to View Top-Level Data at a Glance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam R. | Operational Excellence, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

It’s easy to view top-level data and information at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Keep it simple. Unfortunately, I feel Lineview is moving away from what they do best and is overcomplicating something that already works well. There’s just too much going on in one place now, and I’m not sure how much of it actually adds value for the customer.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lineview doesn’t directly solve problems; it provides insights into where assets are not performing. However, the data isn’t valuable if it isn’t used, and the level of granularity I need is sometimes missing or too far between.

  ### 4. Intuitive UI, Smooth PLC Integration, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

LV ver. 5 has a fairly intuitive UI that allows operators to enter the necessary data to support line improvements and ongoing monitoring. It also integrates easily with line PLCs and the broader IT/OT infrastructure. Support has been quick and helpful across the board, with personable assistance from the customer care manager(s).

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Pricing is high compared to other options, both for licensing and for on-site support. It also needs a lot of server-side resources; otherwise, performance slows down. Another issue is that I’m unable to change historical errors in SKUs, etc.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collects runtime data and line performance, helps identify issues, and supports categorising errors and other problems. The metrics are clear and easy to understand.

  ### 5. Clear, Precise Collaboration That Keeps Everyone Aligned

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** carl h. | digital manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

The collaboration helped make the data clear and precise.
the software allows multiple users to react to the same issues and clearly shows these.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Admin updates to the new navigator platform have made learning the system an ever-evolving process, with changes that feel like a constant rotation.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Line stoppages under one minute that would normally be forgotten.

  ### 6. Instant Live View Access, Strong ERP Integration, and Improved Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Instant access to live view performance. Works with our ERP well and the team support has been better in recent years

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Cost of changes (even minor ones) is a limiting factor in some occasions. The UI is easy to navigate but the performance can be slow at times and it would be helpful to not have to refresh the live view intermittently

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to view the line without attending on site. Deeper understanding of issues being observed by operators and a signpost for technicians to address issues

  ### 7. Real-time analysis to apply corrections instantly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

The way of interpreting the results allows analyzing the information in real time and, in this way, apply the necessary corrections.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

In case of having two sites, it is necessary to exit one to be able to view the other, which would be more valuable if it were integrated into a single module.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers opportunities to detect critical and recurring failures, allowing corrective action to be taken first and then preventive measures to avoid major stoppages. This benefits the outcome of the operation.

  ### 8. Lineview is the first MES system installed on our site that adds value.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** andrew c. | Continuous Improvement Expert., Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Up to date, easy to revue data, excellent customer support.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

As a global product, some of the KPI metrics are fixed and not fully aligned with other Suntory metrics.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly quantifies & identifies production losses.

  ### 9. Unmatched Real-Time Insights and Outstanding Support from Lineview

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakshith R. | Operational Excellence Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Lineview is incredibly insightful -it provides detailed, real-time visibility into every aspect of machine performance, down to the second. This level of detail makes it much easier to understand what’s happening on the line and identify opportunities for improvement.

Another big upside is the passion and support from the Lineview team. The Lineview site itself is full of useful resources, and people like Dave Barrett are especially helpful and knowledgeable, making the whole experience even more valuable.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

One downside of Lineview is that users have limited control over the interface. It would be even better if a more bespoke or customizable interface were available, allowing users to tailor the layout and display to their specific needs and preferences.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lineview solves the problem of limited visibility into production performance. It provides real-time insights into machine losses, tracking every second of performance - including speed, scheduled downtime, and unscheduled downtime. This level of detail helps teams quickly identify inefficiencies, reduce losses, and make data-driven improvements to overall line performance.

  ### 10. Great Trend Insights, but Slow and Limited Date Ranges

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny C. | Site Production Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Trends and data insights at the click ..

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Can be slow and unable to date range all pages

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Machine performance and top losses through causal loss to build an action plan

  ### 11. Automated Insights, Needs Interface Streamlining

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Govert L.

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

I really appreciate LineView's feature of automatic categorization of losses, which significantly simplifies the identification of inefficiencies in our manufacturing line. This automation allows us to pinpoint where the losses are occurring, categorize them effectively, and assess the duration of stoppages, saving us valuable time and effort. The extensive details and data available in LineView also stand out as a plus, providing a wealth of information for analysis that can drive improvements. The ability to delve deeply into this data helps us identify opportunities to enhance production and understand areas where we struggle, making LineView a valuable tool in optimizing our operational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

I find the overview in LineView sometimes overwhelming and confusing, especially with the many colors used, which make it hard to distinguish different elements. Additionally, on the main screen, I cannot see what mode is running, which is crucial for my workflow. Technically, I feel some improvements could be made, like allowing losses to be merged by drag and drop and making it easier to change modes retrospectively using a dropdown menu instead of inputting dates and times manually.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LineView to report production KPIs, automatically categorize losses, and analyze detailed data, helping us identify improvement opportunities and production struggles.

  ### 12. Good to see new innovation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

The development is ongoing to improve the value of the reports

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Poor communication when doing updates. it would be nice to have advanced notice and inform you of what the update will change

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would like to see Navigater reports and dashboards updating as live as possible. Currently some reports are nearly two hours behind.

  ### 13. Essential Tool for Asset Downtime Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wine and Spirits | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

Helps pull through essential data on asset downtime, which, in turn allows the line to direct focus towards specific assets through the use of SIC's. Lineview have also been helpful in allowing us to capture data from potentially missing categories.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Some of the PLC codes do not seem to pick up properly for specific assets on our line. This results in potentially skewed data as its solely relying on what someone puts in, rather than being able to trace back to a fault code. This is more at risk of happening if operators are having issues on an asset and it takes them a while to get round to filling in comments. It also seems to pull through a lot of incorrect stoppages associated with particular assets that should have been put elsewhere.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used lineview as a focus point for projects that have been started on two different assets on the line. Through the use of lineview we have been able to capture a start point of total number of hours/mins a particular issue has caused, and where we now are with this issue.

  ### 14. Review for Lineview at CCSWB

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** carlos h. | Continuous Improvement Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

The tool makes it much easier to understand what’s happening on the production line in real time. It’s very user-friendly, so both operators and leadership can quickly see performance and identify issues. It’s been a solid support in driving awareness and improvements across the line.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

One of the current challenges is that the system doesn’t yet change SKUs automatically, which would make the process more seamless. We understand this may be something planned for the future, but at the moment it’s a limitation we work around. Aside from that, everything else has been working well!

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LineView gives us clear visibility into what’s happening on the production lines, which used to be harder to track in real time. It highlights downtime, speed losses, and overall performance so we can quickly understand where issues are coming from. This helps us focus on the right areas, reduce wasted time, and improve efficiency. Having everything in one place also makes it easier for operators and management to align and make faster decisions.

  ### 15. Transformative efficiency & actionable insights—delivers fast ROI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

LineView delivers truly actionable insights that empower teams to act immediately, rather than spending hours analyzing data. Its automated True Causal Loss tracking pinpoints root causes of inefficiencies right down to machine faults, allowing highly targeted improvements. As a result, we saw noticeable gains in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). LineView even guarantees a minimum 10% increase within six months. The real‑time monitoring, intuitive interface, and rapid ROI compared to traditional MES/SCADA systems make it particularly compelling for bottling and packaging operations.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

While LineView excels in its domain, it may feel somewhat specialized—its strengths shine in high‑speed bottling and packaging environments, but may not be as versatile for other types of manufacturing. Additionally, some users have mentioned that reporting capabilities and historical data ranges could benefit from more flexibility and customization, especially for deeper analysis or long‑term trend insights.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LineView helps identify and address the root causes of production losses through its True Causal Loss tracking and real-time line monitoring. This enables faster, data-driven decisions and targeted improvements that directly boost OEE and reduce downtime. By making operational performance visible at all levels, it fosters a culture of continuous improvement and helps teams prioritize actions with the highest impact. The result is greater productivity, reduced waste, and a measurable return on investment in a short time frame.

  ### 16. Insightful Production Data, But Manual Start Is a Hassle

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

I appreciate that it provides a good amount of information about the production line, including details like machine efficiency, line utilization, and the number of cases produced.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

LineView does not automatically start when a filler begins running; it needs to be started manually. The same issue occurs with modes, and there are times when operators are too busy managing the equipment to enter all the necessary information.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lineview is assisting us in reviewing our data to identify opportunities and better understand how our facilities are operating on a daily basis. However, the reporting website, Navigator, is not very effective when it comes to pulling reports to review our data.

  ### 17. Outstanding Tool Backed by Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helen H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Lineview?**

It is not just the tool but the support around it that makes the difference

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

The tool is great and is continuously improved so any flows are subject to upgrade. There is nothing in particular I dislike.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding the drivers of loss and supporting the team find true root cause to push performance forward.

  ### 18. Streamlined Processes, Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Lineview gives us complete visibility into our production performance in real time, which makes it so much easier to identify bottlenecks and make quick, data-driven decisions. The interface is intuitive, the reporting is powerful, and the support team is always responsive and genuinely invested in our success.

**What do you dislike about Lineview?**

Occasionally, certain custom reports take a bit longer to configure than expected, but the support team is quick to help and usually resolves it promptly. Overall, any minor challenges are outweighed by the value the platform delivers.

**What problems is Lineview solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lineview helps us identify production inefficiencies in real time, track OEE accurately, and quickly address issues before they escalate. By having all performance data in one place, our teams make faster, more informed decisions, which has improved uptime, reduced waste, and boosted overall productivity.
