I like that this tool allows everyone to connect face to face when we are unable to meet in person. You can have a large amount of people in the same room to provide communications at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that there was more sound settings Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It really is user friendly. I can call or be called as well as attend 1scheduled meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it had background options like in Google meets and I also wish that participants had emojis to choose from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease in which you can make a video call to a colleague from the desktop application and share/discuss documents with them. The room systems we have are cool too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say that there are downsides particularly to using Lifesize. There are a couple of features that aren't currently available in it which are available in other products but they weren't that significant in our decision making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using Lifesize for several years and it has proved to be a game changer for us, as a business spread across the UK, Middle East and Far East.
The high quality (4k) video and audio in our meeting rooms, on laptops and mobile devices allows us to work remotely, communicate effectively and maintain high quality conversation easily.
The effectiveness of Lifesize has become very clear over the past few months during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface has previously felt a little dated, but it is quickly improving. New features roll out quickly
As a standalone platform, it's also important that it integrates nicely with other comms software. Currently, Teams yes, Slack Not so much.
Relatively high implementation costs, if you opt for the meeting room setup. If you operate in a meeting room environment, it's worth it though.
Occasionally we experience technical / sound / video issues, but this is often the result of poor performing home broadband. Worth noting, as this may affect some remote working staff, or those in areas of the world where FTTH is not available!
The lack of ability to do much with a shared screen (draw, make notes, annotate) can sometimes be frustrating, especially when you have Slack available to offer it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lifesize has proven to be intuitive to set up and use. Most importantly, Lifesize is flexible. I have been able to use it across PC and iPad meetings seamlessly. Simple to set up, simple to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd prefer that the app did not set itself up to automatically load when my PC starts. I know I can change that, but the default should be to let the user decide upfront. That's a drain on resources when not needed. Otherwise, very satisfied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lifesize is very reliable. I rarely, if ever have an issue during meetings. It's very easy to have guests join meetings - no signing up required! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used Lifesize to host virtual D&D games during COVID and not being able to set a particular participant as the "main" screen to display can be frustrating. It shows the active speaker/noisemaker but sometimes we only want to see one person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite feature is the meeting rooms in LifeSize. We have multiple teams and this really helps with setting up our daily huddles. It is easily accessible and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any dislikes at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lifesize does everything you'd expect it to, which is often rare among other conferencing technology solutions. I've never experienced a problem with video or audio quality, joining meetings, creating rooms, or anything else. Just the confidence that the solution will work for me and others who will be joining meetings, even when external, is a major benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike. The usability of the app could use a little bit of work, but that is nitpicky, since it's still pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use and I am able to connect with my coworkers throughout the state with a click of the mouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I have found that I dislike about LifeSize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
