## LifeLabs Learning Reviews
  ### 1. Empowers New Managers with Immediate Impact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elsa S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I love LifeLabs Learning for being amazing in helping people new to management figure out how to be managers. The workshops are super interactive and allow our team members to take action the next day, if not the same day. I appreciate the way we can practice the skills we're learning in each workshop and share them out accordingly. The admin side of the membership platform is really helpful to oversee if newer managers are completing required trainings and to follow up where needed. I'm such a fangirl of LifeLabs Learning, and I'm always trying to get people involved with Culture Club and sharing their resources, I've even shared LifeLabs content with mentees at my local SHRM chapter or friends who have recently become managers at different companies. They’ve been incredibly supportive with allowing us to pilot initiatives to follow up workshop content via a the book study approach. I would give them a 12 / 10 if I could!

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

The only thing would be cost and figuring out how to implement longer term. As a smaller organization that's also a nonprofit, we don't generally always have a big enough group to run our own cohorts, and we're not always able to afford the membership. Figuring out how to refresh content affordably longer term would be helpful.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps new managers figure out their roles, offering a full manager core implementation and interactive workshops that enable immediate application of skills. It helps our team foster a shared vocabulary around crucial interpersonal skills.

  ### 2. Empowers First-Time Managers with High-Impact Skills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle S. | Head of People, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I like how LifeLabs Learning can accommodate our global workforce very well. I also appreciate the training for first-time managers, helping them to develop important skills in a time-bound and digestible way. I find the approach to skills development particularly valuable as it breaks down skills into smaller, manageable steps, making it less overwhelming and easy to apply directly in the workplace. The tipping point skills concept is another aspect I enjoy. Furthermore, I value the high-quality training and the quality of instructors provided by LifeLabs Learning. The flexibility of booking training sessions as and when needed is quite convenient. I've taken the annual membership for accessing LifeLabs Learning training because of the positive experiences from past engagements.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I think it's a shame that you cannot customize for the organization that you're in, which does mean at times that the training feels quite transactional. But I understand that that would be difficult because it's not the product that LifeLabs Learning offers. And it's not the model.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps develop essential skills for first-time managers in startups, which is crucial as many are promoted from within. They break down skills into manageable steps, making them easier to apply immediately in the workplace.

  ### 3. Immediate, Actionable Strategies and Tools You Can Use Right Away

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kali B. | Associate Director, Talent Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

One of the biggest upsides of using LifeLabs is having immediate strategies and tools you can start using right away, then implement with your team.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Sometimes the strategies and tools shared would benefit from more examples or opportunities to practice, so it’s clearer how they can be applied in my organizational context. Although some tailoring is offered, it would be even better if we could meet the trainers earlier to share more background before the sessions, so that context can be incorporated into the training.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

Spend time with your LifeLabs coach to identify which trainings and strategies matter most, and to brainstorm additional ways to make the best use of your team’s time. They bring a wealth of knowledge and are especially helpful when it comes to prioritizing your needs and tailoring the approach to what you actually need.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Evidence Action, our work is often quite ambiguous, and we face more adaptive challenges than technical ones. LifeLabs provides structure and practical tools you can apply right away, which helps reduce ambiguity across many parts of our leadership and managerial work. After each training, the team walks away with a few strategies or tools they can implement, adapt to fit their needs, and then share with their teams.

  ### 4. Effective Manager Training with Supportive Facilitators

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I appreciate LifeLabs Learning for being cost-effective and easy to use. It helps us train managers and individual contributors in conflict management and effective communication to prevent employee relations issues. The examples used by facilitators are easy to apply to real office issues. The 'deblurring' approach is frequently referenced by employees and helps in making communication clearer. I also like the ease of getting in contact with support, how helpful the facilitators are during trainings, and the PDF worksheets provided, which are easy to follow along and can be printed out for day-to-day application.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Pulling the data can be quite tedious and manual. Having a streamlined process where we don't have to reach out for help would be good. The website is limited on the data we can pull.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps us train managers and individual contributors to handle conflict and communicate effectively, preventing future employee relations issues. The 'deblurring' approach improves our communication, making it clear and specific.

  ### 5. Empowers Managers with Tailored Training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I use LifeLabs Learning for our Manager CORE program, and I find it really valuable for teaching people managers at my company. They focus on important skills like coaching and feedback, which our manager population needs help with. Their facilitation is top notch, and I like how they use research and frameworks to make the learning actionable, with ample discussions. The SOON funnel for coaching skills was particularly impactful. I also appreciate the additional resources available on their platform for people managers. The tailoring of LifeLabs Learning to our organization is great, and their flexibility to shift sessions around busy seasons is a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I think not being able to share the slides can be challenging

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps improve our people managers' coaching and feedback skills. Their facilitation is excellent, and they use research and frameworks to make learning actionable. The program is tailored to our organization and flexible with our business needs.

  ### 6. Empowering Leadership Training with Practical Impact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maya E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I really enjoy the content of LifeLabs Learning because it's clear, practical, and easy to understand. I appreciate that the trainers are very well prepared and do a great job guiding the sessions. I find it valuable how easily the trainers explain the content, making it accessible for all levels of management and employees. The management trainings are definitely a highlight for me. I also like how LifeLabs Learning provides people with verbiage to handle different situations, which has been beneficial for addressing issues with employees and peers.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Sometimes the facilitation style can feel a bit over complimentary, with very enthusiastic reactions to comments that may not be particularly insightful. I would prefer if they did not overreact to the things people share.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LifeLabs Learning for leadership and people-skills training. It provides clear and practical content that helps managers and employees handle different situations effectively.

  ### 7. Connective Community, Insightful Trainings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marissa C. | HR Business Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

They have consistent and relevant training topics and materials for me to immediately apply to my day to day work.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I still think having more pay as you go courses would be beneficial to roles like mine, HRBP, who helps share different training options for employees who are looking for growth in various areas.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

This is a user friendly, straightforward, and comprehensive platform. You likely won't need another training resource after working with LifeLabs.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lifelabs has ongoing trainings that support my ongoing development- I specifically appreciate their Culture Club that has ongoing trainings for things such as building impactful goals, inclusivity, and performance reviews. It helps me as an HR professional stay on top of best practices and they deliver the content in a very digestible way.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback! The idea for "pay-as-you-go" courses is interesting- I'll have to share with our product team!

  ### 8. Engaging Workshops, Transformative Learning Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

I have had a positive experience with LifeLabs Learning as our L&D partner, where their workshops focus on manager skills, leadership, growth, and productivity. I've found their service and support to be excellent. The courses are engaging and not passive, with instructors who are really engaging and experts at keeping everyone engaged and comfortable to share. People who have taken the workshops provide excellent feedback, asking when the next ones will be and what topics will be covered. I appreciate the more options for courses, varying lengths, and continued strategic relationship.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

N/A

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning hosts 8-10 engaging workshops yearly, focusing on manager skills and productivity. The courses are interactive and receive excellent feedback, enhancing day-to-day work and leadership growth.

  ### 9. Learning Partnership Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

A few things that consistently stood out from our learner feedback was that the workshops were:

Highly practical and actionable - our participants walked away with tools, frameworks, and language they could immediately use in their roles.

Engaging and interactive delivery - the sessions were not passive and there was strong facilitation with real-time practice and space for reflection, which made the learning stick.

Clear, structured frameworks - concepts like 1:1 structure, feedback models, and development conversations were broken down in a way that felt simple, memorable, and easy to apply.

Relevant to real work - The content mapped well to actual manager and employee challenges, making it feel like a strong use of time.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Nothing major, but a few consistent themes emerged such as:

The desire for more depth or extended time - Some participants wanted more time to go deeper into practice or explore more nuanced scenarios.

Pacing could feel fast at times - Because sessions were content-rich, some learners felt they had to move quickly through concepts.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

I would absolutely recommend partnering with LifeLabs Learning especially for organizations looking to move beyond theory and give their managers and employees tools they can actually use. Their workshops struck a strong balance between structure and flexibility, and they met learners where they were while still raising the bar on what “good” looks like.

I also want to highlight how impactful our partnership was with Sheena Varghese, our Impact Consultant Lead. She was instrumental in helping us shape program design aligned to our goals, providing thoughtful recommendations and resources to support rollout and communications, and acting as a strategic partner during program planning and for future considerations.

That level of partnership made a real difference, not just in the sessions themselves, but in how we approached the broader strategy.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through our partnership with Lifelabs Learning, our aim was to be able to equip Amplify managers and employees with practical structures and tools that brought more consistency and to day-to-day conversations and workflows. We were also seeking to provide managers with clear, actionable frameworks for coaching, feedback, and 1:1s so that those interactions felt more purposeful and drove performance and growth. And lastly, we wanted workshops that delivered learning experiences that were engaging and interactive, with tools employees could apply in their very next conversations.

Our goal was to have managers and employees have more intentional conversations, with clearer expectations and a stronger sense of progress and development.

  ### 10. Practical Workshops, but Course Availability Need Improvement

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The content and frameworks used in the workshops are simple and practical tools that managers can use. The facilitators were also good at engaging with the group.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

The #1 issue is the limited availability of courses. The rep looked at feedback and coaching courses for me to trial and the coaching class was 4 weeks away and the rep didn't even find a feedback course within 2 months, and said I guess the schedule still needs to be released. The platform could also use some UI updates. I was informed that there was an AI coach feature but was not allowed to trial it even for a day. And when the rep screen shared the AI coach feature there seems to be limitations where you have to choose a specific topic and sometimes we received an error message in response.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

I would explore competitors as well. I trialed other competitors and was able to also test the AI features and take multiple courses within a 2 week trial.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs offers instructor led virtual workshops for individual contributors, managers, and senior managers. It offers my company a scalable and flexible way to ensure all our managers take foundational leadership training.

  ### 11. Great training partner with easily digestible content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vicky T. | Manager, People Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

Easy to work with, love all the free webinar content they provide, and for over 10 years they've provided a HR community group / virtual space (Slack) to connect and meet others.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

No comments, there's nothing worth mentioning

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs provides easy digestable training content for innovative, forward-thinking companies that focus on emotional intelligence and what makes us human. I have always appreciated their content and how straightforward the topics are (and it doesn't make them any less important) such as delivering effective feedback, having difficult conversations, the art of delegation, and more. Even our most senior leaders could use a refresher on the very same topics.

  ### 12. Exceptional Facilitators and Enriching Learning Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

We primarily have one facilitator (Jennifer Allen), but have also worked with a few other facilitators. They all create a learning environment that makes participants feel comfortable and open to sharing. Jennifer has also recommended several books for follow-up, and her recommendations have been very helpful to deepen our learning.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

In addition to using LifeLabs for company-wide trainings, I have also done the LifeLabs membership, which I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend. However, as LifeLabs rolls out new trainings, I do not want to purchase another membership for one or two trainings. It would be helpful if LifeLabs offered a discounted membership/rate for people who have already had a membership if they would like to take some of the new trainings.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

If you would like to learn more about LifeLabs, attend one of their Culture Clubs, listen to their podcast, or check out The Leader Lab book.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs offers interactive, evidence-based trainings for a variety of audiences (senior leaders, middle managers, individual contributors). We have offered Feedback Skills & Coaching Skills to our middle managers, and many of them listed these trainings as the most helpful trainings they took. These trainings offer practical tips that can be implemented to improve and foster a supportive supervisory relationship. For our individual contributors, we have offered Delivery Skills, Productivity & Prioritization, and Influential Communication.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Hi Amy, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and provide us with some valuable feedback. I will make sure to share your recommendations with our product team!

Additional courses or topics can be added as your organization grows in complexity or by topics. We found it approachable, immediately applicable, and with tools and tricks to encourage managers to remember how to apply the learnings right away. The instructors have always been knowledgable, great communicators, and real. One of the things I appreciate most about LifeLabs is the quality of the instruction and the instructors.

We used LifeLabs for Core Manager Development so that all our managers would have a similar base of skills they could draw upon when managing others. I also participated in the trainings and found them quite useful.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lina V. | Principal, Leadership Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

That we could work closely with our account manager and facilitators to adapt the delivery to our audience

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Some of the feedback from our participants referred to the content/ delivery being very US-centered (we are based in Europe), but we have been able to share this feedback with the facilitators and adapt

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

I would really recommend LifeLabs trainings due to their practical and applicable content and strong interaction element

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been partnering with LifeLabs in delivering our leadership trainings for over 3 years now and the programs have really high engagement and satisfaction. numbers

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The teachers are collaborative and promote an open and safe learning environment where students can learn from one another.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

It is too hard to take 2 hours out of my busy work day to attend a live training even though I enjoy it. It would be nice if it was slightly more condensed.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been part of multiple LifeLab learning classes over video and I also have used LifeLabs learning async through Culture Amp and I really belive the skills I learned through LifeLabs helped me land my current manager position.

> Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, Lilli! I'm so thrilled to hear that the skills you learned at LifeLabs have helped you in your career. I look forward to seeing you in another workshop or Culture Club event soon!

I really appreciate the interactivity of LifeLabs Learning workshops and the thoughtful structure of the content. The actionable takeaways are easy to integrate, which is fantastic. I've found immense value in upskilling staff with people management and feedback skills, which boosts productivity and collaboration. Employees consistently rate the sessions as high value and high impact. I love the sticky skills and newer resources that allow us to host sessions to refresh and reinforce skills, effectively reducing the forgetting curve. The support from their representatives, offering recommendations based on our business challenges, is also something I value. I'm very satisfied and would rate them a 10 for recommendation.

LifeLabs Learning enhances our internal communication and management. The virtual aspect allows managers from different locations to collaborate effectively.

  ### 18. Good bitesized learning opportunities

Really broad range of topics that you can learn about, also with the new AI era.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

If you're looking for a variety of trainings/skills to develop your professional development. LifeLabsLearning is a good fit! Although it's still really important to follow-up yourself to apply what you've learned. LifeLabsLearning is sending nudges to remind you of this.

LifeLabs Learning offers a great variety of training topics. In addition, they provide sessions in different time zones, making them accessible to a wide audience.

  ### 23. Practical, Engaging Training That Delivers Immediate Results

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

What I like best about LifeLabs Learning is how practical and immediately applicable their training is. The sessions are highly engaging, focused on real scenarios, and provide simple, science-backed tools that our team can start using right away. The facilitators are excellent at creating an inclusive learning environment, which makes the training both enjoyable and impactful.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

There isn’t anything I strongly dislike, but if I had to choose one area for improvement, it would be the limited time available in each session. The workshops are so content-rich and engaging that it sometimes feels like we could benefit from more time to go deeper into certain topics or practice the tools further.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

I highly recommend LifeLabs Learning to any team looking to strengthen their communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. The workshops are practical, engaging, and immediately applicable, making them a great investment in team development. If you’re looking for training that delivers real impact in a short amount of time, LifeLabs is an excellent choice.

As a result, our team is more confident, aligned, and able to create stronger engagement and better experiences for our members.

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

They are adaptable, always looking at current best practices, and consistent with their communications.

We’re still actively participating in courses, and we can already see the impact—our managers are thinking more strategically, communicating more effectively, and finding new ways to grow as leaders. LifeLabs has truly helped shape our management team into being not just better managers, but better problem-solvers and collaborators.

I find the support from live experts very valuable while using LifeLabs Learning.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I wish it was cheaper so more people can utilize it. I also wish they had even more topics. I think more hours offered and shorter times would be better; 2 hours at once is too long.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helps with developing new managers. I find their live experts valuable.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! Their facilitators are world-class and I can trust them to meet our business where we're at through customization and tailoring to our company's tone, priorities, etc.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The sessions are focused on real-world challenges, from leading effective 1:1s to giving and receiving feedback. Each workshop leaves me with simple, actionable frameworks that I can immediately use with my team. What sets LifeLabs apart is how memorable and sticky the learning is — I’m not just attending a training, I’m building lasting habits.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Nothing at the moment. It has been great so far.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning is solving a major challenge many teams and organizations face: the gap between knowledge and execution when it comes to essential leadership and interpersonal skills. Most professional development programs are either too theoretical or too generic to make a real impact. LifeLabs takes a different approach — delivering practical, research-backed tools in short, digestible sessions that make it easy to apply what you’ve learned right away.

  ### 34. A lifesaver for small People Teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

What I like best about LifeLabs is how practical and actionable everything is. The sessions are engaging, easy to follow, and full of simple tools you can start using right away.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I wish they had more specialized content geared towards specific teams like "managing a sales team" or "escalation for customer success agents".

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their workshops are super practical and engaging, and the follow-up nudges make it easy to actually put what we’ve learned into practice. We’ve seen our leaders grow more confident and our teams work better together,

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you so much, Taminy! We've loved working with you and your team.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I don't think there is anything I dislike about my experience thus far

With new leadership and constant changes within our industry, we had LifeLabs learning come in for a Feedback session (in-person and virtual) for our leadership and are bringing them into our extended team. The sessions were incredibly helpful and engaging, and we felt well supported in the set-up and follow-up resources.

  ### 36. Great team to work with

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fran N. | HR Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The team is super responsive and has built out a really nice online platform to manage this training.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

The only downside I can imagine is that they've already developed the curriculum, so you have to choose from their library, but their content is strong already.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs has helped our start up company and our newer managers solidify management principles, through a toolkit of actionable methods. The reception and feedback to this training has been positive across the board.

  ### 37. LifeLabs makes scaling manager training a breeze!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keely M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The facilitators at LifeLabs Learning are highly skilled and make learning fun. I also love that the tipping point skills taught are simple and actionable.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

The only downside is that is is an investment to make to train using LifeLabs, but at scale it is feasible.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lifelabs Learning is helping us scale manager training to a large globally diverse team of managers who might otherwise be challenging to scale training to internally.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us, Keely! I'll make sure to share your review with our facilitators.

  ### 38. LifeLabs is great - well worth the money!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gigi G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The workshops are thoughtfully designed - not overly corporate, condescending, or dumbed down. Instead, they strike the right balance between being professional and accessible, making their workshops fun and impactful. Their facilitators are excellent and always ensure that the sessions feel interactive and customized to the specific needs of our organization.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Honestly, not much. Cost is always a concern, but this proved to be worth it for our organization - and they made sure to work with us in order to work with our budget.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

One consideration to keep in mind is that LifeLabs Learning does not run workshops on Fridays. While this wasn’t an issue for us, it’s something to factor into scheduling if your team typically prefers end of week sessions.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most recently, we used LifeLabs Learning primarily for workshops on giving and receiving feedback, both for managers and individual contributors. One of the biggest benefits has been the creation of a shared language around feedback, which has helped normalize and destigmatize it across the organization. It's helped us immensely with conducting end of year performance reviews and giving 360* feedback in a constructive way,

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, Gigi! We appreciate you.

  ### 39. An incredible platform to upskill employees at any point in their career

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katarina R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

LifeLabs understands that while training starts your learning, you need reminders to put habits into practice. LifeLabs sends automatic reminders to test out micro skills from their workshops so you can truly incorporate them into your habits.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Sometimes I want there to be a level 2 or level 3 in the workshops. For right now, LifeLabs offers solid foundational skills, though I would love to see them expand this in the future.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many issues that arise at work are things that need to be learned through trial and error -- communication skills, coaching skills, feedback skills, prioritizing workloads, and more. At LifeLabs, experts in workplace psychology and process have found ways to digest what matters most about these habits of work and mind and created incredible training, both synchronous and asynchronous, that helps individuals unlock their potential. My coworkers and I have used LifeLabs learning for whole-team training, individual professional development, and coaching, and I've seen a huge transformation in how we work together.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you, Katarina! I'm so thrilled to hear that you've seen a huge transformation in how you and your team work together since taking LifeLabs Learning trainings. We appreciate you!

We had a completely positive experience working with LifeLabs.

The soft skills workshops are highly valuable, offering practical exercises backed by scientific research and data. The trainers are empathetic, engaging, and highly knowledgeable

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I would recommend allocating more time for practical exercises during the sessions. While the workshops already include several, additional hands-on practice would further reinforce the learning

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

Selecting the sessions topics according to the employees profile helped a lot to make it successful .

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In today’s competitive market, soft skills are essential for success. LifeLabs has helped our employees stay current in this area and continue developing their skills effectively.

  ### 42. Amazing professional development resource for executives, managers, and individual contributors!

If you are looking to bring a professional development resource with facilitation and excellent content, then LifeLabs Learning is for your organization.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LifeLabs Learning helped us launch our first ever manager cohort with manager foundations training. The excellent faciliators and practical content kept our managers engaged during the trainings, and afterwards they actually put into practice what they learned. People still talk about it as being essential to their manager skillset.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> I'm so glad to hear that you had a great experience working with LifeLabs Learning! We appreciate you!

  ### 43. Engaging, Practical, and Impactful Leadership Training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The interactive live workshops make learning engaging and hands-on. The content is practical, easy to apply, and consistently gets great feedback from our team.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Nothing significant—our team has had a great experience. If anything, we’d love even more session availability to accommodate different schedules. And some sessions to be shorter so it doesn't take up too much of their workday.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

It’s a fantastic investment in your team’s development. The workshops are well-structured, engaging, and lead to real growth. Highly recommend for leadership training!

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 44. Thoughtful, Helpful, and Meaningful Manager Training in Small Doses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The cohort facilitators are very knowledgeable. The content is great. The sessions are 100% interactive. You cannot sleep or multi-task. LifeLabs staff are great to work with. Their platform is very easy to navigate. I can't really say a bad thing about LifeLabs. Plus they have lots of free webinard to attend and provide more great tools and techniques and theory in these webinars.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I have no dislikes. LifeLabs has never disappointed me.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

When I was trying to identify a training solution, I was working with my Lattice, my Performance Management platform. As I was speaking to my Lattice account person, I asked them what they used for this purpose and they said LifeLabs. They could not say enough good things about LifeLabs. I have a great deal of respect for the endorsement given by Lattice, and then I did a deep dive follow up on my own. LifeLabs will engage your managers to the fullest extent. All of my managers love the training. I get great feedback from them on the workshops, they love the tools, and they keep telling me this training should be given to all our employees, not just managers...they love it so much!

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a performance management training solution that provided our managers with theory and action-oriented tools in small doses of time that fit their schedule. We are a federal contractor with managers and supevisors working on various contracts in a mostly remote environment. LifeLabs is able to train on CORE Manager skills that are modern and relevant to manager interacton with their direct reports -- such as Coaching Skills, Feedback Skills, Productivity and Prioritization, Effective 1:1s and Managing Remote Employees. We are moving into our second round that focuses on Strategic Thinking, Meetings Mastery, Leading Change, and People Development. In addition to the cohort training for over 50 managers (5 cohorts in total), I can assign this training to new managers to catch up to their peers. They attend classes on their own with other virtual attendees via sign up on the LifeLabs platform. LifeLabs solved all of my manager training problems, and then some.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We're happy to hear that you had such a great experience with Manager CORE 1 and are now introducing Manager CORE 2! We look forward to seeing you all in a workshop soon.

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

The personal experience. Their account managers are great and are dedicated to recognizing the value LifeLabs may add to your specific needs as an organization.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Can't say there's anything I specifically dislike so far.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, a small biotech company without a dedicated Learning and Development (L&D) function, LifeLabs was the perfect addition to offer training to our staff.

  ### 46. Great job on a quick turnaround!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about LifeLabs Learning?**

Off the shelf content that can be tailored to context to some degree.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

Even more tailoring to context would be better.

**Recommendations to others considering LifeLabs Learning:**

If you’re looking for off-the-shelf training, you can’t do better than LifeLabs. For tailoring, you probably will do well here, but I’d explore alternatives as well.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a training on conflict management. Ideally, we were looking for more conventional conflict management, but the approach of leveraging conflict for mutual gain was a great alternative, even if the traditional approach would have been a good intro first. Ultimately, since we were moving on very short notice, I was very impressed with the turnaround.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! I'm glad that we could be a good fit for your team. I hope to see you in a workshop or Culture Club event soon!

  ### 47. Wonderful, action-oriented, engaging way to learn

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

I love the instructor and the topics that were discussed. The content was engaging and actionable to where you could start using the skills the same day.

The company is incredibly organized, easy to work with, and use a great software with managing learning.

**What do you dislike about LifeLabs Learning?**

I wish there were a way for people to connect more between sessions. For example, a forum could be set up to ensure we continue conversations and keep learning in mind.

Additionally, it would be an awesome supplemental tool to allow participants who are going through a program to have a printable packet of info to follow and keep afterwards.

**What problems is LifeLabs Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team was looking for ways to engage our early career employees and equip them with new skills to be better prepared for growth within the company.

**Official Response from Mary Elrod:**

> Thank you for your review and feedback! We do offer supplemental resources that learners can print out to follow along with their workshops and keep afterward. I'd be happy to connect with you via email and share some resources with you if you'd like!
