LibreOffice its an office suit that offers all the necessary tools for any administrative work. It's similar to microsoft office it has all the applications like word, acces, and so on. Easy to use. Every application works correctly plus its completly free so you can't complain much about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are other sofwares (not free) with more content, visually prettier and more updated. Sometimes LibreOffice has some compatibility problems when working with documents made with other more popular softwares and vice versa when openning documents made with LibreOffice and openning with other programs. easy to use, Intuitive, endlessly customizable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not the fault of LibreOffice but sometimes there are problems converting more complex documents to Microsoft Office. For simple documents, there is usually no problem. Converting to many other formats, especially open source, is usually not a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software indeed has all the features I need. For a cooler office, using and learning Libre is easier than Microsoft Word, as Word had a lot of features that are not necessary for a beginner. Almost replicates Microsoft Office, minus the license. Extremely useful for saving coats. Even otherwise, this application allows you to do more than your role might require. Since the project had a limited budget, LibreOffice was a great cost saver and easy to dismiss. At the beginning of my career, I used to use the drag-and-drop feature to create SQL queries for thousands of records on LibreOffice. It is a great way to save on licensing costs when basic features like viewing and sending doc files are required, which do not use highly specialized or complex features. As an open source solution, there are certainly complexities and some quirky features, where perhaps things are not as simplified as Microsoft Office, but if you learn how the platform works, you can quickly discover that you can do everything necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my opinion, the best free alternative to Microsoft Office, better than OpenOffice, from which it has derived... In the 4 years I've been using it, I haven't missed Microsoft Office at any time, with versions for text editor (Writer), spreadsheets (Calc), presentations (Impress), databases (Base, I haven't used), and others that make it unique like equation and formula editor (Math), creation of graphics and VECTOR DESIGNS (Draw) beyond what Microsoft offers in some areas. It also offers a portable version, which you can carry on a pendrive and use without the need for installation on any device you are on... a feature we miss a lot in Microsoft Office, it's a great advantage to have the programs you use most in your pocket and never be without an Office program again! I like the Microsoft Office User Interface more, the fact that the menus change according to what you do makes it much easier, but it's not a very popular opinion here at work... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
LibreOffice is the best free alternative to Microsoft Office that you can find, and you can use it on any operating system, no matter which one you have. This program offers you all the tools for administrative work, such as creating documents, presentations, and it also supports many document formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface could be improved as it doesn't seem very modern, to say the least. Putting that aside, I don't see any other drawbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like this office because firstly it is open source and secondly it is very easy to use, all the functions are very easy to use. and best thing we don't have to pay a huge amount for this software since it is open source.
Best office for Ubuntu operating system.
It has the lite theme which makes the processing of the operating system faster and easy for user to understand which icon is of what use.
which can open document of any format in this office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has some issues in power point as it lacks some features which are available on MS office power point , else writer and spreadsheet are very good.
It has a large no of formats in which we can save the document which makes me sometime confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best feature is that I can open/write/save in all Microsoft Word formats including latest .docx. And, I discovered that I can OPEN my password protected Microsoft Outlook email .pst file with LibreOffice. That's pretty amazing to be able to see emails I wrote 14 years ago! I have not found anything to dislike. It works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The intelligent coding framework is one of the most delightful component that the LibreOffice bundle offers. I utilize it almost ordinary. Additionally they have courses for new clients wchich are extremely decent and offer the fundamental information you require. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Calc and a large portion of the projects are exceptionally steady however when utilizing the Math-device I encountered a few accidents and precarious circumstances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease-of-use with word documents and spreadsheets is fantastic very similar to the more well-known Microsoft products. Some of the formatting is lost using publisher and Excel when the files are opened with LibreOffice. It's very fast and requires very little ram to work smoothly. Formatting can be lost when opening publisher files with LibreOffice. fonts are lost, as well as the position of objects and photos Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has all the features you'll need from an Office Suite, and the fact that it is open source makes it available to all. It is robust and has an active community of coders developing it. It's compatible with Microsoft Office file formats which is useful if you have to exchange files with its users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe the fact its interface doesn't look as modern as some of the competition, but this has no major importance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
