I like that it can generate files with formats that are compatible with other popular office suites like Microsoft Office. Though I feel it has many of the capabilities I need to write and edit common office documents, I don't it's at the same level as Microsoft Office. It can be hard to make the adjustment to LibreOffice if you're used the layout and functionality of Microsoft Office or another similar software. Also, LibreOffice doesn't have the same amount of applications that Microsoft Office has. There is no email client or note taking program. Though compatibility is generally good, there are times when certain files don't open in LibreOffice. It can be hit or miss at times.
