The bottom line is the open-source LibreOffice just work. I've used every office suite since Word Star and Data Star Were things. LibreOffice is every bit as good as Microsoft Office and it's free to boot. Latest edition of LibreOffice boasts much better compatibility with Microsoft Office documents. LibreOffice is free. It works with Linux which is way more stable than Windows which kept causing my computer to crash. no more computer crashing means I am way more productive than I used to be Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With LibreOffice I have never had any errors
It has all the same features as MS Office, however it is free to use and available on Linux! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I may dislike is that it's not so popular among other users. Thus when working with Libre, I really need to make sure that the formatting stays the same when saving files to the .doc format. Otherwise, MS Word users might find your file designed or formatted. Trying to match Microsoft's platform, but not successfully. I would prefer a more simple interface like Google drive with calc and docs. Different approach more minimal Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a programmer, I like its open source availability, which can help me to understand and improve myself, you can have all office suite programs and it's free! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This one is a bit tricky, although it's free and have all features of its non-free rivals, but its interface is a bit out of date. I hope they will improve it soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
LibreOffice is a program under the terms of the GNU open source license agreement. It is completely free and compatible with the most widely used operating systems on the market. LibreOffice is the ideal solution for a company that does not want or cannot spend much budget on expensive office software licenses, as LibreOffice is a collection of programs with various objectives, including word processor, spreadsheet, relational database manager, drawing and basic design software, and slide presentation software. The worst thing about LibreOffice is that it does not support online collaborative work, something very necessary today, and the inclusion of an email manager is also missed, as its direct rival from Microsoft does include. Sometimes, in text documents or slide presentations made by the competing software, compatibility is not achieved one hundred percent, leading to unexpected results when viewing them. Otherwise, there are no complaints about this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LibreOffice is an opensource software so it is easy to download from its website and it is free of cost. I use LibreOffice writer, for writing my blogs and books reviews and this tool helps me a lot in modifying and spelling check. There are various types of fonts available in it right from Liberation Serif to Wan Quan Yi Zen Hei Sharp. Another advantage of using this software is the PDF conversion of the documents as it is easy to convert. There are many helpful tools available in this software to make a document or a spreadsheet with par excellence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I dislike is about the LibreOffice draw, as there is an option here to edit the pdf documents, but the PDF editing is not easy and the with images it is very difficult and the outcome also not good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
