"Smooth Process, Intuitive Tool, Talented Senior Implementation Specialist"
5/5
What do you like best about Lever?

Lever provides incredible capabilities in support of dashboarding and reporting. The functionality is intuitive, the system is easy to navigate, and the req management is tracked seamlessly with custom feature build outs and best practices built in. Our Senior Implementation Specialist, Alex Lecko was a true SME on the system. he navigated our questions with ease and resources at his fingertips to guide us through the implementation process. We are very grateful he was our point of contact through this! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

The only challenge we've found is specific to our business having grown by acquisition with many entities, currencies, and global components that Lever isn't quite robust enough yet to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worst Support & Buggy Product"
0/5
What do you like best about Lever?

Because their product is an ATS plus CRM, the number of features is high; however, this product always creates problems and is not stable. As a result, despite being a good product, its usage and product adoption are very low. This product sells a lot due to its CRM nature, but there are still many legacy models, and they are slowly improving it. However, if your company hires in large numbers, this product may not be right for you. As I mentioned, it creates a lot of problems, and you won't get any support from them, so you won't be able to solve those problems. Otherwise, it is a pretty good product, but it is not stable, and their support team does not provide any assistance. They do not care; despite being human, they give robotic responses regardless of how you message them. Their response is always the same; in fact, they do not read your messages properly. If you check their reviews, nearly all customers have mentioned their terrible support, and I am surprised that they have not made any changes after that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

There are many reasons to dislike it, but since I myself am a follower of technology, I understand that issues can arise in technology. However, what bothers me the most about this platform is the instability of their product and their world's worst support system. Imagine the worst possible level of your imaging capabilities; that's the level of their support. There are always some problems with their reporting features. Their integration with LinkedIn is very poor, and if you face any issues with LinkedIn integration, they play a blame game and won't provide you with a solution. I have many tickets that have been open for 3 to 4 months, and these people have still not provided any solution. In fact, they don't even pay attention; they just keep replying to your tickets so that you feel they are working, but that is even more frustrating because looking at their tickets, replying to them, and spending more time on them is exhausting. "Lever is a WONDERFUL product!"
5/5
What do you like best about Lever?

I love how easy it is to use. The interface is clean and simple. We also lucked out with having Ally Nguyen as our implementation specialist and she was THE BEST. She made the process wildly easy and was so quick to respond to all our inquiries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

I don't love that the candidates that apply are called opportunities. I think for simplification; they should just be called candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Specifically for campus recruiting, It does the job without any additional benefits or frills."
2.5/5
What do you like best about Lever?

I really enjoy Lever's feedback feature. It's super helpful to host all feedback about candidates in one place. It’s also helpful to have all email correspondence linked to the candidate. From a lateral hiring perspective, it’s helpful. You can track candidates progress and recruiting agencies can easily upload candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

From a campus recruiting perspective, it is basically just a place to store candidate applications. You are not able to track candidate progress or have a history of how many people made it to a specific stage (once the candidate has been noted as no offer). You also aren’t able to pull all the necessary information for each job posting. It would be so much better if the export feature would let you simply customize per job posting, specific job posting questions/responses, export by all school information or application year…

From a campus perspective, I think there are many more other tools out there that have captured that market better than lever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lever?

The UI and organization structure of individual candidate histories is extremely intuitive. It was easy to set up email notifications anytime we received a new application and to add additional team members into the mix with particular candidates or roles. The synchronization of email inboxes with candidate communications on the platform is extremely helpful as well (you can email a candidate in Lever OR in your email and it will track the correspondences regardless). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

Some of the formatting for job postings and posting new roles was a bit cumbersome. I also wish there was a more streamlined way to create new communications templates or edit existing templates without having to navigate away from what you're doing and going into your settings. These are pretty granular pieces, however, and definitely don't outweigh it's usefulness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is a true ATS and does not integrate with our HRIS"

What do you like best about Lever?

Lever generates good reports and it serves as a great repository for resumes and records. The background services company VerifiedFirst integrates with Lever Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

Does not integrate with Paycor. It is truly a stand alone. Does not merge records well. I do not like the offer feature. The system will not allow for you to send out additional documents or policies along with the offer. We have had to make adjustments to our processes to ensure the NDA, and Job Description gets signed during onboarding because these documents could not be a part of the offer template Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great, some things could use improvement but overall; it's better than Greenhouse in some aspects"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Lever?

I really like the ability to save drafts all in one place in terms of emails and scheduling.

Pipeline view is pretty straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

I dislike how you can't view a panel's calendar more clearly when you look at the availability. it doesn't give you the option to expand things large enough to view the names of events on peoples calendars without clicking on the events over and over.

There have been some clunky areas technically (default feedback form we can't change, interviewers/employees we can't set up properly, etc.)

I wish we were able to get more support on how to learn how to use visual insights (have a rep walk us through things). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lever is a great Applicant Tracking System!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lever?

Lever is intuitive, easy to use once you are familiar with it, and very customizeable to your needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

It took a little bit to learn how it works, and when you want to add a new section / feature, you have to do a little digging to find out how to do something, and takes a little bit of trial and error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worth rolling out across the country nationwide!"
5/5
What do you like best about Lever?

We started using Lever at one local store and were so impressed that we quickly rolled it out nationwide! The implementation was smooth, and its user-friendly interface made the transition seamless for our entire team. Lever is packed with amazing features, integrates effortlessly with Checker for background checks, and offers seamless integration with Outlook email. Plus, their customer support is top-notch! Highly recommend for any business looking to streamline their hiring process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lever?

While Lever has potential, we've faced challenges with slow website loading times and some frustrating GUI issues. Tech support can also be quite slow to respond, adding to the frustration. On a positive note, they do eventually address and fix the issues, but the delays can be a significant pain point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
