"Improves Scheduling, Needs Better Time Punch Accuracy"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

I really like the better user interface for store managers in Legion WFM, and its capabilities for configurations centrally are impressive. The company’s attention to customer feedback and willingness to adjust over time is something I really appreciate—even if it’s not always quick, it's clear they're trying to meet our needs. I’m also excited about the new capabilities and roadmap, especially the agentic AI experiences aimed at specific use cases to cut down on manual work for employees. These features could potentially bring insights to district managers to ensure better labor decisions at the store level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

The accuracy of time and attendance punches compared to the pay file creation doesn't always match, which means manual edits are needed before going to payroll. Also, the initial setup took about 14 months, and there were stability concerns with time and attendance going down regularly during the first year. Although it seems to have stabilized now, these were issues initially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Scheduling and Real-Time Insights"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

I like how the schedule optimizer in Legion WFM can significantly reduce the time spent writing schedules, allowing the GM to post a schedule in minutes. This feature can save hours weekly, giving GMs more time to spend with employees or guests on the floor. The real-time attendance provides valuable labor insights that can be actioned in real-time, helping us understand what is happening at the moment to better respond to business needs. Additionally, the demand forecast greatly improved the accuracy of our forecasts compared to before using Legion WFM, which enables us to plan more accurately with labor scheduling and be better prepared to deliver great guest experiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

The report generator has a learning curve to be able to understand how to build custom reports and extract the needed data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Optimizes Strategy with Intuitive Employee Engagement"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

I like the user-friendly mobile app for frontline workers. It really engages employees in the scheduling process by enabling availability updates and allowing them to claim or offer shifts. The forecasting and labor optimization functionality stands out as a key differentiator, helping us to optimize our labor investment across retail stores efficiently. I also found the initial setup to be relatively easy, as we went from discovery to rollout in six months for scheduling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

I have issues with reliability during releases. Core functionality can degrade or fail, causing problems. For example, I'm unable to print schedules or the UI shows coverage requirements that do not align with actual requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Features, Some Implementation Hurdles"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

I like Legion WFM's UX design and the API for data connections, as it facilitates easy data extractions that help us make better business decisions. The easy clock-in and out system with customizations is reliable for associates and is attractive for store employees. I also appreciate the customer support and communication, especially the customer success team, which is available and interested in improving accounts and partnerships. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

It's challenging with forecasting and schedule creation. It would be more beneficial if these features were rolled out during implementation rather than later. Store managers don't trust the schedule and the schedule score, and it's tough to get adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Interface, Easy Transition with Scheduling Benefits"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

I like Legion WFM because it's easy to use. The user interface is simple, which helps me post the amount of time I'm available, and I can easily communicate with other associates or team members to see their availability and pick up shifts. I also like how it keeps track of the hours I've worked. The ease of use is great for interacting with team members, posting schedules, and communicating with my manager or district manager. Being able to DM specific team members is a nice feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

The paid time off part of it doesn't ever factor in how many hours that you've been given or the amount of estimated pay that you'd be given for those hours. It's kinda hard to keep track of it in your weekly schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Improves Scheduling but Complex Reporting"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

I find Legion WFM easy to use for our managers, which is a big plus. It’s been a great benefit for our store employees with the app, as it makes it very easy for them to submit time-off requests, availability, and visualize their schedules. Using their traffic forecasts helps us maintain adequate staffing levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

Reporting has been a challenge for us. Getting custom reports for our specific needs is complex and usually requires the Legion team to help build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Promising Disruptor, but Gaps in Manager Functionality and Implementation Support"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

The mobile app is modern and intuitive, driving strong adoption among frontline store teams with minimal training required. InstantPay is a real differentiator that competing platforms don't consistently offer and has been well-received by hourly employees. Employee self-service capabilities such as shift visibility and swap requests have meaningfully reduced routine administrative burden on managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

Implementation was the most significant pain point. Legion's project management was disorganized, creating delays and unclear ownership that put undue burden on our internal team. For a platform being sold to enterprise customers, the implementation experience did not match the maturity we expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Admin Setup, but SSO Login Issues"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

As a newer user and Administrator of Legion, I have been incredibly impressed by how intuitive and user-friendly the interface is. Often, enterprise-grade WFM systems have a steep learning curve, but I was able to get a firm handle on the administrative configurations relatively quickly.

A standout feature is the automated timecard approval workflow. The ability to set granular filters is a game-changer; it allows the system to handle the "business as usual" approvals automatically while still flagging specific exceptions that require a manager’s manual intervention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

The SSO login and account recovery process for associates is a significant pain point. There is often confusion among employees regarding the difference between using SSO and a standard email/password login, especially when they get a new device.

As an Administrator, I lack the ability to reset these accounts or resolve these credential issues directly. Instead, I have to reach out to support for an account reset and then put the associate through the entire re-onboarding process from scratch. This creates a repetitive administrative burden and a frustrating experience for the end-user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Compliance with User-Friendly Interface"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

I find Legion WFM user-friendly for end users. It aids significantly in compliance by helping mitigate risks, and acts as one central database. I also appreciate its adaptability and the partnership it offers—understanding our needs and partnering to ensure those needs are covered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

I think the forecast accuracy could be improved—it would help to have a clear threshold of what they consider accurate enough. Also, I feel like the documentation should be created based on our business setup for better relevance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Labor Forecasting, With Room for Integration Improvement"
What do you like best about Legion WFM?

I like how Legion WFM adapts and evolves with our evolving labor model. It continues to support our stores as we grow and evolve, which is really important for us. I also appreciate that it allows us to schedule and staff more effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legion WFM?

We're still early on with our adoption but so far the only frustration has been around integration. Not super easy but it was expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
