This is not a dislike but rather a concern based on a prior experience. When I updated the Accounting Unit, the system processed the change correctly; however, the original Accounting Unit was overwritten, making the historical record untraceable. What I like best about Crunchafi Lease Accounting is how simple and accurate it makes compliance with the new lease accounting standards. As a non-profit with a single capital lease, the software takes what could be a complex and time-consuming process and automates it. It clearly tracks the lease details, calculates the amortization, and generates the monthly journal entries, which saves time and reduces the risk of errors. It also provides confidence that our lease is being accounted for correctly and consistently, which has been especially helpful from an audit standpoint. Crunchafi has greatly reduced the amount of time we spend on our operational lease accounting. We manage over 150 vehicle leases and around 20 property leases, and before using Crunchafi, we relied on Excel spreadsheets. That approach was not only cumbersome but also led to frequent errors. Although the initial setup with Crunchafi was somewhat challenging, once we entered all our leases into the system, the process became much more efficient. Now, everything runs smoothly.
