**What do you like best about LearnUpon LMS?**

I really appreciate the excellent customer support and the ease of use. The interface is simple and intuitive, making it easy for both administrators and learners to navigate. LearnUpon does exactly what we need it to do, with all the essential features functioning seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about LearnUpon LMS?**

There are very few downsides, but if I had to note one, it would be that some advanced customization options could be more flexible. Otherwise, the platform meets our needs efficiently and consistently.

I wish there were more streamlined ways to give credit and create courses. Also, the buttons that close out courses should be bigger and in the center instead of a corner where very few people see it.

Various features such as dashboard banners, custom user data, dynamic rules, and memberships.

The email templates are helpful, but I wish there were more templates to choose from. I’d also like the option to create my own template so I can better tailor it to my needs.

**What problems is LearnUpon LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One feature I use often is “Re-enrol completed users?”. It’s really helpful when a staff member needs to complete the course again not long after their initial completion.

There are many things to like about LearnUpon - UI, Customer Service, ease of use, reporting, etc.  Access anywhere, anytime, any device results in increased usage and engagement.

**What do you dislike about LearnUpon LMS?**

I have yet to discover anything that I dislike about LearnUpon.  From first contact to implementation, LearnUpon exceeded my expectations.

**Recommendations to others considering LearnUpon LMS:**

If you are in the market for a new (or different) LMS, I would recommend having a demo from LearnUpon.  They will be the first to tell you if their company will be (or won't be) a good fit for your company's needs.

The Forum options are fairly limited. It would be nice to be able to pin posts, for example, or sort them in any kind of way that would make it easier to navigate.

Reporting is archaic. I still struggle with finding simple reporting data for something like "Active Course List". When you have multiple portals, the report does not provide accurate data. We have several tickets opened because of this.

The immediate problem that LearnUpon is solving is our organization of content.

In our case, the enrollments and grouping were a bit difficult to create and manage at first,  but after awhile it gets easier to understand

There are so many small issues, It is not intuitive; Usermanagement is difficult for us Support is not working well (especially for technical issues); We had to accept a change of the design, that we didn't like etc.

LU has a lot of options for customizing the branding and has a very responsive support team.

IdP integration required us to build an in-house solution. Also, the mobile app requires users to enter a tenant name which is confusing for staff.

I really like the wonderful API of LearnUpon LMS. It has really good documentation, well-planned endpoints, and easy pagination. I also enjoy the Live Learning setup in LearnUpon. I've heard good things about their great support team, even though I wasn't part of the initial setup.

I don't like that Learning Paths were limited and Learning Journeys that were supposed to replace them weren't enterprise-ready fast enough.

**What do you like best about LearnUpon LMS?**

LearnUpon is a very simple LMS to use if you are sticking to the use case. It integrates well with other software like content development software and CRM's making it easy to make a part of a users information infrastructure.

Also, on the business side, LearnUpon has been a pleasure to work with. They are always willing to meet and discuss a new functionality and I do feel they listen to our feedback. They take customer support very seriously.

If you push the boundaries of the LMS's functionality or have a unique use case, you might encounter the occasional situation where it doesn't work exactly as you thought it would.

**What problems is LearnUpon LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to deliver courses in a variety of styles and formats to various different parties. LearnUpon is a flexible enough LMS to allow us to develop various courses in different ways including Hybrid attendance or "at-your-own-pace". The software also integrates well into our information infrastructure allowing us to make sure we are gathering data in the ways we want to be.

LearnUpon just works. It was super simple to set up, simple to make changes, and never gives any problems. The platform is always working and we do not experience outages.

LearnUpon is limited in what it can do and how creative you can get. While this helps maintain platform stability, I would love to be able to be more innovative with user SSO access.

This LMS is not only user friendly but also scalable. The clean interface makes it easy for first time users. Integrations like with Salesforce make it easy to communicate between systems. Every year we are seeing more robust reporting and more automation available.

Time zones are not set automatically. Learnupon has the learner set it.

I like the overall UX. Easy to find the information, you can schedule your classes, limit access only to the target audience, and allow reviews in your courses to learn more about the learner experience.

At the moment, the thing that I less like from LearnUpon is the number of clicks to get to the content you are looking for. I'd love just to type the course or keywords and find the content I'm looking for, instead of choosing where to perform the search (Courses vs Catalog vs Users vs Groups).

The main reason why I use LU is to publish courses and track completion. It's also very helpful when it comes to learning engagement with the employees of my organization, since it is user friendly.

**What do you like best about LearnUpon LMS?**

I am the trainer for our company and I use Learn Upon every day to help me make our training process easier and efficient. i am able to add new courses, create certificates, and run reports to track scores for new hires and existing employees, this saves me a lot of time. i can easily track everyone's progress and sometimes I have more than 5 new hires at a time. it has helped with our onboarding process and with our continuing education.

there can be some delay getting support but it is there.

Currently, LearnUpon doesn’t integrate directly with our HR system, which creates a bit of manual overhead for our team.

It also consolidates multiple learning mediums in one centralized platform, allowing us to deliver diverse training formats—self-paced, instructor-led, videos, documents, and more—seamlessly to our teams.

The most intuitive and simple interface for learners -there is no learning curve. With new and enhanced features such as Learning Journeys to create a customizable roadmap of course assignments for users, it’s truly a flexible and easy system. Creating courses
Is a breeze utilizing any number of formats to upload/build your content. Need an exam at completion?  Use AI within Learnupon to generate the exam questions from your content. And, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the reporting. Robust options to create your report, AND the ability to schedule the report to send to recipients on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. Learnupon really is an easy tool to administer and use.

Learnupon is growing at a fast pace.  New features are on the roadmap which will be well received by administrators and learners both.  However, with the addition of new features, it can take time.  Learnupon is committed to producing a top quality product, and while it's understandable items why can be delayed, it does happen on occasion.

Learnupon has been an excellent business partner for our company.  The ability to have sub-portals for different training needs all within the same corporate realm is huge!  Having the sub portals allows companies to segregate training based on needs, but still have "top-level" administrators oversee the entire learning environment for our organization.

The standard reports available can sometimes be limited, but the LU support team are always happy to help with something else if they can.

We have a multi-lingual global sales team and LearnUpon LMS means that no-one misses out on training. It integrates with our HRMS and MS Teams alongside content generators so it offers us a useful, simple system that works for admins and learners alike.

There have been very few downsides of working with LearnUpon. Other than lacking a few integrations with systems our business uses (which seem like niche use case), we’ve been very pleased with the product.

Connecting with people at Connect '25 was invaluable. I met so many people from different businesses and industries, and talking to them was really insightful as to how they have integrated LearnUpon and their experience of the platform and support teams.

**What do you like best about LearnUpon LMS?**

It is very simple to learn the basics of the system. Creating a course is really easy and pretty straight forward. My team uses it daily. So far implementation of the LMS to our Firm has been very easy and our users have had good comments on the courses they have taken. We are also able to integrate other course from other learning providers giving our users the ability to stay within one system and not have to switch back and forth between multiple providers. LearnUpon seemingly does this very well. When we have issues the support team is very reactive at answering our questions promptly.

**What do you dislike about LearnUpon LMS?**

There are a few things that can be done to improve the speed of course development. One is the ability to save custom colors or palettes woul d be very helpful. This may be a problem of LMS's in general, but it would be nice to be able to offer live training options without having to have the training item tied to a course. It would be helpful for any LMS to be able to offer trainers the ability to create live class offerings on a calendar and users be able to track these items separately on their dashboard.

The LearnUpon LMS is providing a system that allows all our trainers the ability to create and manage courses easily. In essance all are administrators of learning, and it is not just relegated to a select, specialty trained few.

Our experience with LearnUpon has been largely positive, thanks to its strong organizational tools, customization options, and a user-friendly learner interface. The platform's design makes it intuitive and approachable for our team, and the frequent updates demonstrate LearnUpon’s commitment to meeting customer needs.

However, there are areas where the system could improve. Setting up a single course can be quite time-consuming, and the inability to list admins as managers of groups limits functionality. Additionally, organizing courses on the back end is cumbersome, as there isn’t a way to streamline or categorize them effectively. Lastly, the system retains older versions of courses in the course list, which can clutter the interface and create confusion.

LearnUpon has been instrumental in streamlining our new hire training and providing managers with the tools to support ongoing employee development. By enabling managers to enroll their own team members into courses, the platform has significantly reduced the time managers spend on training while improving team efficiency. **What do you like best about LearnUpon LMS?**

I've been an admin in LearnUpon for the past 4 years. I've enjoyed the system - I find that it gets the job done. I use the system daily. We had a great implementation consusltant in the beginning who helped us launch seamlessly. Customer support always responds to me within a few hours and our team of support is also very helpful. I find that it integrates well with other systems but not all that we use. 

I like the branding options for the main home page - we were able to design the portal to look like an extension of our company website. I like having the ability to copy courses from one portal to another. I would recommend this LMS to others.

**What do you dislike about LearnUpon LMS?**

Our eCommerce page does not look how I would want it to - I would like more branding options.  There have been improvements in the ease of use for learners, but things can be difficult for admins - several steps to accomplish tasks. The new home page setup is not ideal; I've shared this feedback. The good news is that they are working to improve it, and they always have updates coming up.

Our non-profit adopted LearnUpon and it was so easy to use that we were able to make our training online in 7 days. We have it integrateed into Salesforce and rely on it to train our volunteers all over the world. Support has been responive when we needed it, but that rarely happens. It has become a tool that our agency relies on everyday and one that we have recoommeded to numerous colleagues in our field who have had similar results.

There really isnt anything to dislike about LearnUpon. It is robust enough to do what we want, but also fade away and allows our learners to focus on the learning.

LearnUpon has been extremely easy to implement and use without having to worry about a lot of expensive customization.  It's been a great solution for our Telehealth Institute and the customer service/implementation support has been outstanding.  We love the integrations that are available with ecommerce, Zoom, and LinkedIn.

No platform is perfect.  Sometimes the UX isn't as intuitive as I would like it to be.  The product team is helpful in communicating their roadmap to clients and they do listen to us when we have feedback on features that need to be improved.

Our providers can be enrolled in learning pathways automatically through our proprietary system and the Zoom integration has made it easier to take attendance.  The storefront and ecommerce features have made it possible for us to open up our offerings to the public.

**What do you like best about LearnUpon LMS?**

We have been using LearnUpon for five years now to provide end user training for our software. I like that it offers the flexibility of multiple portals. This has allowed us to track onboarding training for users, as we transition to a new product, separately from our exisiting user training. We are currently exploring the ways we can integrate it with HubSpot. I am excited about this possibility, as it will automate a number of steps.

**What do you dislike about LearnUpon LMS?**

There are some features of LearnUpon that are not immediately accessible. In order to implement those features, you have to email their Customer Success department. However, the Customer Success team is always very responsive, so it is a minor inconvience.

**What problems is LearnUpon LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have developed a new product and we have been able use LearnUpon to create onboarding training that is scalable and effective. Being able to track what training users have completed helps our Onboarding Specialist keep clients on track during their implementation. It also provides useful information for our Support team, when new users seek help.

LearnUpon has facilitated our ability to grow our learning products and make them available to our customers. It's a great way to showcase your programs. The LMS is set up in a user-friendly and intuitive way. The customer service is great - I can reach out to our account manager with questions, and if I need further support, they are quick to schedule a call to review any questions.

It's a great LMS, and I don't have many, if any, dislikes. I would say that their implementation of new features is slow, but it's not a deal breaker and does not detract from the already useful features.

Learn Upon is an easy to use, intuitive platform that allows for easy course creation . The booking system for ILT sessions allows for users to easy select a session to attend. The new learning journey feature allows you to create intricate learning paths for individual roles and learner needs. The support team are always on hand and quick to respond to any issues that you may be having. We have felt fully supported during our migration to the platform.

You have to navigate to another package (Easygenerator) to create scorm packages.
