**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

I think the HR functions of Leapsome work very well. Feedback, annual reviews, employee tracking, and certification seem to work very well. The main thing is that the functions that are staff-facing, like annual reviews, employee tracking through org charts, and instant feedback, are easy to use and easy to access.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

Leapsome's LMS leaves a lot to be desired. There are quite a few basic LMS functions that just don't exist, like the ability to assign coursework by group—you have to assign it individually, which is a huge pain. The tests only allow for select multiple questions with no option for short or long answers, select single questions, or matching. Any videos hosted in Wistia or YouTube open in a separate tab and their status is not tracked, making them easily skipped. Leapsome doesn't send notifications for new content. There's a lot of obvious features missing in their learning management system.

Leapsome gives us a central place to store all of our learning information across different brands and helps with orchestrating annual reviews and giving feedback to staff.

The Problem: Traditional annual reviews often result in "recency bias," where only the most recent events are remembered, and employees have to wait an entire year to receive formal feedback or set new goals. This kills engagement and development potential.

The Benefit to Me: The platform fosters a culture of continuous feedback and transparency. Anyone can give instant feedback anytime, which helps tackle issues in real-time. I use Leapsome for evaluation, feedback, and training sessions at work. I appreciate that feedback can be instant and that evaluation is structured. The easy interface stands out to me as a major benefit. I also like that mandatory learnings are available on demand, allowing me to learn independently. The initial setup of Leapsome was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

I would like to understand better how the diagrams of the evaluation work. I would like when I am notified that I got feedback to be able to directly see that feedback instead of searching for it. Sometimes I am notified that there is a task for me, but when I open Leapsome it is not that prominent and I need to search for it. I would like to understand how the diagrams are formed. I would also like to be able to follow the evolution. After the evaluations, I am not sure if the diagram has changed, as there is no comparison in terms of what has changed.

I like how Leapsome has centralized our feedback process, and I appreciate the feature for sending kudos using Leapsome's praise feature. I also find it useful for setting yearly goals within my team. The feedback feature is comprehensive, and I like how the steps are communicated clearly and I'm notified via Slack and email. Having everything centralized in one place is a huge improvement, as now even HR and upper management have access to all the feedback, unlike the previous spreadsheets.

When I used Leapsome to handle my 1:1 notes, there was something not working for me and my report. In Google docs, we can both write in real time and keep a clear agenda based on dates. On Leapsome, that was a bit too structured, and we dropped it after some tries. The move was okay but it needed a lot of training for both managers and HR people.

A little bit of it's confusing. There's, like, diagrams and goals and stuff. I haven't quite figured out. Maybe you can make a tutorial that walks you through how to do that. That would be helpful if you had a tutorial.

**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

What I admire most about the platform is its user-friendly design, combined with powerful features such as performance reviews, employee engagement surveys and goal-setting tools; the way Leapsome ensures that content is accessible and understandable for all employees ( regardless of their specialization), really makes it ideal for diverse teams.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

I wouldn't say I "dislike" it, but I would appreciate it if the recommended "learning paths" after completing a learning module were more accurate to what you have already completed. Sometimes this is not the case.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Leapsome helps by saving time with better workflow management, providing clear steps for performance tracking and development, and keeping survey data safe and secure. This makes my work more efficient, organized, and ensures that sensitive information is protected.

**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

Leapsome stands out as the most intuitive and easy-to-set-up Performance Management System I’ve used. The bi-annual reviews that we set-up take less than 30 minutes to configure, making the process seamless. What truly sets Leapsome apart is the outstanding support from their account managers, all are highly knowledgeable, responsive, and proactive. Their quick, detailed video responses help empower me to troubleshoot and manage the system with confidence. A truly hassle-free experience!

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

There isn’t anything I dislike about Leapsome, but I do wish more of their great features, like the Learning and Skills Modules were included in the base package. Unfortunately, these features are offered à la carte and can be costly. As a small startup, we’re not yet able to invest in all the advanced capabilities, but I look forward to incorporating them as we grow.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to manage a paper process.

seems easy to use, i like the company shoutouts. easy to access training videos.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

i dont think its being used to full potential, we dont use everything  properly - perhaps better training for the end user not just admin.

sending reminders when we need to fill in surverys or complete trainings. easy to access and use.

**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

Leapsome brings everything related to performance, feedback, and employee development into one intuitive platform. I especially love how seamless the goal-setting and progress tracking features are - it really helps align teams around objectives. The 1:1 meeting structure and feedback tools have made a big difference in how we communicate and grow as a team. Plus, the user interface is clean and easy to navigate, which makes adoption across the company a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

While Leapsome is a powerful tool, the initial setup and customization can be a bit overwhelming, especially when configuring performance review cycles and competency frameworks. Some features feel hidden or less intuitive at first, and it took a little time for everyone on the team to get fully comfortable. A few more in-app tooltips or onboarding guidance would make the experience even smoother.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

"Leapsome has helped us centralize and streamline all things related to performance management and employee development. Before, we were juggling spreadsheets, disconnected feedback tools, and inconsistent review processes. Now, everything—from goal tracking to 1:1s to performance reviews—lives in one place. This has saved time, improved transparency, and fostered a culture of continuous feedback and growth. It’s also helped managers have more meaningful conversations with their teams, which has boosted engagement and clarity around expectations.

**What do you like best about Leapsome?**

I am able to set my meetings either repetitively or one time meetings with countless available meeting templates with very useful questions which are directly applicable for the customer support environment and for the meetings that I will be holding.

Also, I like very much the availability to be able to add extra notes which can be visible to the participants and as an extra, I can leave notes privately for myself.

I am using the Leapsome every week for my repetitive meetings with my direct reports. On top of that, I find it very easy and useful that it can sync with my Google Calendar.

Lastly, being able to set specific points for the meetings make every single points very easy to understand, very easy to progress and very easy to insert for my direct reports.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

The only feedback I can give about Leapsome is that it has a bit of a complicated menu.

I believe having a little description which appears when we hover our mouse for the options that are available on the menu, would be very useful.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Leapsome is solving the follow-up problems for me, especially with the weekly meetings I am making with my direct reports.

Can streamline monthly,quarterly and annual reviews and 360 degrees feedback from employees and managers.

**What do you dislike about Leapsome?**

It was overwhelming at first because you have to consider a lot of features.

**What problems is Leapsome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really integrates with Slack and we always do quarterly surveys about the company which helps us voice out what we want and what should be doing and keeps us connected with the company's goals.
