  ### 1. Unclear cancellation flow, billed for months with no usage

**What do you like best about LeadMagic?**

There are many similar tools on the market that offer comparable lead enrichment and workflows

**What do you dislike about LeadMagic?**

We canceled in July and received a refund, but importantly, I had to confirm with support that the subscription was actually canceled because the process/status was not fully clear. Later we reactivated in August and used the product briefly. After that, we stopped using it (credits kept accumulating), and I clearly remember canceling again in September, but billing continued for several months. The cancellation flow is not transparent enough, and it’s too easy to stay subscribed without realizing it.
Their Terms say “no refunds,” but their Help Center also says refund requests may be reviewed case-by-case, especially when credits were not used. I contacted support with billing and usage evidence and I’m still in correspondence, unfortunately, no refund has been processed yet.
Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but charging customers for months when the product is clearly not being used doesn’t feel like a sustainable long-term strategy, it erodes trust. A clearer cancellation confirmation and a fairer “unused months” resolution would go a long way. I’m still hoping this gets resolved as a goodwill refund for the unused months, based on the account usage records.

**What do you like best about LeadMagic?**

I enjoy the great support experience LeadMagic offers. It's an always evolving product that is cost effective. I appreciate how multiple enrichments are possible with a single credit system. LeadMagic's ability to find both business and personal emails is valuable, and the feature that lets me find LinkedIn profiles from emails really helps with my workflows. I also found the initial setup extremely easy, just a couple of clicks and a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about LeadMagic?**

I think they could increase even more their email discovery rate, which is already great.

**What problems is LeadMagic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LeadMagic to find high-quality business and personal emails cost-effectively and quickly. It's great because it also helps me find LinkedIn information and enriches my workflows.

**What do you like best about LeadMagic?**

We use lead magic primarily as a data enrichment tool for bulk lists of emails that we pull from other data platforms. Its great and using it really ensures that we clean our data lists before sending to ensure that our mailbox remain healthy and we don't end up in spam folders. Platform is easy to implement and very easy to use, its very straight forward, it integrates with all our Outbound tech stack and we use it weekly for creating email campaigns.

**What do you dislike about LeadMagic?**

Like all data enrichment tools it doesn't get everything right 100% of the time but it is pretty much there in terms of what it offers for the cost.

**What problems is LeadMagic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Essentially Lead Magic enables us to improve the delivery of our email campaigns, thus improving our conversion rate leading to closed won sales deals, overall providing better cost per lead, better hit rate and improved ROI.

Nothing it's a scam product

**What do you dislike about LeadMagic?**

I am extremely dissatisfied with LeadMagic due to several issues. Firstly, the setup process, while easy, was misleading. They claimed to offer 100 free credits, but these were never provided, even after contacting their support team. The promised credits did not materialize, and the support's response was ineffective. Furthermore, the primary service feature, intended to enrich data by providing phone numbers, was largely inaccurate. Out of 100 attempts, fewer than 15 were successful, and most of these were either incorrect or fake numbers. This inaccuracy rendered my subscription to LeadMagic a complete waste of time, money, and effort, as it failed to deliver on its core promise, impacting my business operations negatively. Overall, the operations of LeadMagic appear to be deceitful, to the extent that I strongly perceive it as a scam. I regret investing in their service and wish to warn others not to fall for the same trap. I remain completely unsatisfied with any aspect of the service provided by LeadMagic.

**What do you like best about LeadMagic?**

Great enrichment product and reasonably priced

**What do you dislike about LeadMagic?**

After using the platform for a year and spending hundreds of dollars per month, they decided to remove 70k credits (more than $500 worth) from my account after accusing me of abusing their email finding api, saying that I was sending "fake names" to use it to find mx records of the domain. The fact is we target local businesses and was trying to find emails associated with their domain. 

Just for context, we use 2 other email finders BEFORE Lead Magic (we use icypeas and findymail) and have never had any issues with them even though we are sending them the same contacts to enrich. 

After following up multiple times for multiple days in a row to try to get on a call with their team to show them that I was in fact using their api for what it is supposed to be used for, I have received 0 responses from support. I would steer clear of their product, as a small business it's too risky to spend money on credits only to have them removed without question.

We mainly use Apollo for finding leads, but sometimes it failes to deliver results.

LeadMagic has a way higher number of working leads for us

Eveything is fine, they could add a way to get single phone numbers/email straight from the website UI.

**What do you like best about LeadMagic?**

You only pay for what you use - no monthly subscription! 
Lead Magic shows me the company that has visited my website AND the individual (with their contact details!) and it happens in real-time. This allows us to very accurately and economically retarget them through our advertising.

**What do you dislike about LeadMagic?**

There is nothing to dislike at this stage. Senior management is super helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering LeadMagic:**

If you use your website for lead generation for sales, I would strongly recommend you try Lead Magic. The visibility and accuracy of the data were shockingly good. 
Probably our best purchase all year. Easy to buy, easy to use and very effective (we had payback in 30 days).

**What problems is LeadMagic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead magic provides the most accurate contact data I have found - and we have used them all. Leedfeeder, Lusha, Zoominfo, Slintel to mention a few. Hands down, Leadmagic has accurate data. The onboarding was super easy. They are very focused on customer success. We were literally live within 60mins of signing up - they even set up a couple of custom filters for us.

With the large number of people working from home, intent data has become somewhat useless. I'm not sure how they do it but Lead Magic have nailed it - we are getting contact data of the individuals that hit our site even when they are home-based.

 Our sales team loves it - they get a real-time heads-up on who is looking at our products and are able to reach out super quick.

**What do you like best about LeadMagic?**

Identify website visitors. 
The data is accurate. 
The notification comes through very quickly so I can strike while the iron is hot.
Get contact details and know which companies are looking at your services. 
We invest a decent amount to get people to our website. They don't always submit the form or engage with one of our lead magnets. Knowing which companies are visiting the site really helps with our account-based sales and marketing strategy. 
It's really effective.

**What do you dislike about LeadMagic?**

Not much to dislike. 
It does what it says on the box. At some point in the future, it would be great if their accounts allowed for billing in AUD, but for now, we will accept that we need to pay in USD.

**Recommendations to others considering LeadMagic:**

Give it a go. We used the no credit card sign up to give the product a full trial. 
If you do not have a solution like this (or are using one of the less effective alternatives) then there is absolutely no reason to not try.

**What problems is LeadMagic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

95% of website visitors don't engage or submit forms. That means we will never know who there were. 
Now we get a notification and identification of which company the visitor was from. This means we now KNOW that company is searching around for solutions like ours. That gives us a massive strategic advantage in prospecting.

Great accuracy and speed. It outdoes the nearest competitor by at least 20%, while being a fifth or lower of cost.
