I find Lead Onion incredibly user-friendly, which enhances my experience by making navigation and operation straightforward. They maintain regular touchpoints to ensure the product meets expectations and always go above and beyond to help us achieve our goals.

There's nothing we dislike overall. It would be helpful to have more advanced segmentation options as we are within a very niche market, but the team is very open to feedback and has worked closely with us since contract signature to ensure the product meets our needs. They are also actively adding new features to the roadmap based on user input.

Our contact at Lead Onion is also super helpful, incredibly responsive and always on hand to answer any questions or queries straight away!

There are sometimes system issues but the team are always very quick to respond and help solve any issues asap!

The platform is so easy to use. Great weekly support from Becky, she is always there to help with anything needed. A lot of the heavy lifting work is done by Lead Onion themselves making it even easier for us to get to fully utilising the product how we want to.

The only thing I can think of is more personal, finding the time each day to go through prospects & revealing. However, this is more due to my own busy schedule!

Lead Onion has given us a great insight into finding new marketing and sales leads. Throughout the time using Lead Onion and talking to leads it has given insight into their specific problems allowing us to understand our market better.

**What do you dislike about Lead Onion?**

I've waited literally months to review, hoping they would turn things around, but here we go: 

We engaged with Lead Onion for a 3-month trial contract, during which I explored intent, workflows, outreach cadences, auto-reveal, and CRM (called the CDP). This is almost verbatim product feedback that I sent to their head of CS (edited for clarity for non-users):

- Prioritization of workflows (and therefore cadence entry) is based solely on creation date! This was a huge blocker for us, ultimately preventing our use of cadences at all. We needed more sophistication, so we could guarantee contacts would go into the cadence we wanted them to.

- Several cadence replies were "left the company" auto-replies, and Lead Onion treated them as interested replies.

- Editing cadence email copy when not in "content view" doesn't save changes. I found this out the hard way...

- Platform organization/terminology doesn't make sense to us (What does CDP mean? Why are mailbox settings under "cadences" instead of "users" where I connected those mailboxes?)

- Filtering has to be done in Prospecting > Contact Search > Contacts instead of the CDP, which I thought was the centralized bank of all revealed contacts.

- Can't filter web intent by "url contains" -- meaning you can't segment visitors to your career page from visitors to your pricing page.

- Chatbot isn't specific to Lead Onion, just a ChatGPT passthrough? I was expecting to search the knowledge base for product help.

We have no attributable results to using this product for 3 months.

The icing on the cake was after we indicated non-renewal. We reloaded our data credits with the intent to reveal a bunch of contacts to use in outbound prospecting (trying to find some value!), but I couldn't get bulk reveal to work. The platform would error out almost every time, so I emailed the head of CS (who was my regular contact after we indicated churn) and didn't hear back.

I tried loosening auto-reveal settings instead, knowing our contract was expiring in a couple weeks and we would lose access to the data we'd purchased, but couldn't reveal contacts fast enough that way either. Still nothing from CS, so I tried emailing tech support, who just looped back in CS to no avail.

Finally I gave into bursts of manual reveals, knowing I'd never make it through 6200 contacts, but trying to make use of our funds before someone turned off my access.

And eventually, that did happen, which was when I heard from CS again. One back and forth before I just asked to be refunded for the data credits so we could part ways. Finally got CS on a call, where Lead Onion agreed to export our entire CDP and refund us for the data credits we weren't able to use.

That was in late March, and we still have not received a refund. As usual, CS is not replying to my email.

It did not solve problems or benefit us. We've lost a lot of time and money trying to get value from this company.

If there was one thing I would suggest it might be "prompts" from Lead Onion to gmail/whatsapp to tap into surge opportunities.

The amount of data and the options on what you can do with it are amazing. We, and our clients, are getting great value from the platform. The customer service is fabulous - regular online meetings take place to work on our accounts and the staff are brilliant. Once everything is set up, the vast majority of the tasks are automated, which saves time. And the data we receive is great - our sales team love it.

**What do you dislike about Lead Onion?**

The system could be a bit more user-friendly and intuitive to use, but Lead Onion is constantly making improvements to address this. Plus, their support is very good and they have always explained things clearly when I need them to.

Lead Onion is generating quality data for our sales team to act on, and generating leads. The sales team use this for both email and telemarketing purposes, as well as networking on social platforms like LinkedIn.

The product is intuitive and easy to use,  I've been able to successfully develop much more targeted email campaigns than I would have been able to otherwise. The team are very helpful.

I've had to invest a decent portion of my time over the past couple of weeks to the setup. It feels like a young product,  which in my case (targeting by industry and insight) has meant a lot of repetitive copy paste activities when I want to apply a change. I'm sure this could be improved.

We are a small, fast growing business. Whist we scale, I need targeted, value generating outreach engine which is self sustaining.

Lead Onion is a great marketing and sales tool. It combines what every Marketing person wants to see with the kind of that every Sales person wants to get. 
It's the first tool I access every morning.
The implementation took no time at all and they helped us with all the integration and support we needed.

I feel like the user flow could be different, the UI is great, but sometimes I get lost in the menu and dropdown options. But if I have a question or need help, the team is always there for me.

The team at LeadOnion are fantastic - helpful, knowledgeable and able to think with you - they are a large part of why I decided to use the software and I feel we've extended our brand reach considerably since using the platform.

We had a couple of issues in arriving at the 'right' people to target or reveal, but the team were always on hand to support and escalate where necessary.

Ease of use, the ability to find leads that are relevant to our sales personas and only paying for leads revealed is a game-changer, we have been able to build marketing campaigns around relevant leads and put in place a sales process that delivers results, taking away all the hard work of lead generation.

Can't think of anything I dislike, some leads may be out of date but I feel that is more to do with companies/individuals not updating details on the likes of Linkedin so not an issue with the platform.

As stated above Lead Onion enables us to find and source leads relevant to our market, removing the time consuming and previously costly task of either scouring LinkedIn for hours or buying in out of date and often unreliable lead lists. There are a lot of intent data solutions on the market, but very few provide the depth or breadth of information that Lead Onion does. Where other providers often make you pick which types of intent you want to prioritize, Lead Onion ensures that you have access to social, topic and website intent all under one roof, ensuring that our marketing and sales teams leave no stone unturned. 

The support we have received from the Lead Onion team has also been first-rate. Product developments and advancements are shared regularly, with an AM on hand to guide us and answer any questions. 

While we've only used the platform for a short time, we're seeing some really positive results, and have used our findings to inform our messaging and outreach strategies.

**What do you dislike about Lead Onion?**

Nothing immediately springs to mind for negatives. There are features we would like to see but that tends to be the case with most vendors. Needless to say, our AM has done a great job at communicating the roadmap with us, and it's great to see a lot of our suggestions being taken on board for future product development.

- Easy of use. Most of the functionality of the platform is straightforward. After the initial intro to the platform, you can come to grips with it by just playing around.

- A number of handy functionalities of the product are still being built, which is understandable but sometimes you just wish the solution to your problem already existed.

The integration with Hubspot makes it easy to sync contact data from the Lead Onion platform to outreach and nurture campaigns. The Social tool in the intent section delivers great insight into what companies are interacting with our competitors, industry conferences and tracked keywords.

The intent data is high level where you can only see what company is showing intent. It would be great to have a better way to help narrow down which contacts to reach add nurture campaigns and reach out to.

The system integrates with our website really well, the Topic intent function works well too! 
Exporting data in small chunks is easy.

**What do you dislike about Lead Onion?**

The system is quite clunky, on more than several occasions we have had to get in touch with the support team to sort out bugs. the filtering is quite clunky too. There is currently no 
integration with our CRM (Zoho).

There are very few numbers being found for contacts within the UK, you really do have to look quite intensively.

We have managed to get new names in different industries, this saves time and effort from the sales team.
