"Effortless BYOD Security with Full Browsing Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about LayerX Browser Security Platform?

LayerX has worked well for securing remote employees and BYOD environments. Deploying the browser extension made the rollout straightforward, without the need to install heavy agents on devices. Even so, we still get full visibility into browsing activity and data transfers. It also supports multiple browsers, which made adoption easier across different teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LayerX Browser Security Platform?

User onboarding took a bit of explanation so employees understood the purpose of the extension. After the initial rollout, though, the platform has been straightforward and easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the policy controls take a little time to fully understand when you’re setting them up for the first time. The dashboard also shows a lot of data, which can feel overwhelming at first until you get used to where everything is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"LayerX Delivers Strong Browser Security and Visibility Across SaaS Apps"
5/5
What do you like best about LayerX Browser Security Platform?

Most of our day-to-day work happens in SaaS applications, so browser security is critical for us. LayerX monitors file uploads, downloads, and data movement across web apps, which helps us keep better visibility into how information is handled. The identity-based controls also make it easier to ensure employees use only corporate accounts when accessing company resources. On top of that, it flags suspicious activity, such as unusual file transfers, so we can catch potential issues early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LayerX Browser Security Platform?

The initial rollout required close coordination across several teams so we didn’t end up blocking legitimate workflows. A few users also saw warning prompts when uploading files, but that improved once we refined the policies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight Browser Extension Security with Clear Visibility Across Browsers"
5/5
What do you like best about LayerX Browser Security Platform?

The ability to secure unmanaged devices was a major reason we adopted LayerX. Many of our employees work remotely on personal devices, and the browser extension deployment let us enforce security policies without having to install heavy agents. Even with that lightweight approach, the platform still gives us clear visibility into risky activity and data transfers. It also works across different browsers, which made rollout and adoption much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LayerX Browser Security Platform?

User onboarding required clear, consistent communication so employees understood why the extension was needed. At first, some people were concerned about privacy, but once we explained the scope of the monitoring, those worries eased. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
