Seems innovative and is pushing the boundary to be a leading edge of law firm tech solutions. Support is amazing and helps out with issues quickly. Tons of potential for this to be an all in one law firm solution.

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

There can be aspects of the system that are missing that seem simple and critical, like reports for attorney collections and billings. Invoice needs more work too.

**What do you like best about Lawmatics?**

Fully functional client relationship manager.  Automate onboarding process.  Integrates with other services, including income call details from third party provider.

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

Metrics and marketing tracking features do not seem easy to follow or set-up.  UTMs, tracking etc., likely an issue across the industry and might not just be a Lawmatics issue.

**What problems is Lawmatics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing automation and email campaigns.  Follow-up with potential clients.  Collection of information from clients through intake forms. Texting with clients. Collecting information and files and keeping them in one place.

**What do you like best about Lawmatics?**

It is super powerful and highly customizable at a great price. The custom form tools are great, and their automation build out and zapier integrations make it a really powerful platform.

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

Because of its power, it's not as user friendly as I like, and the ability to add custom homepages/dashboards (especially for specific team roles)  would be great. Additionally, we'd like to be able to see the actual content of emails sent through the platform. Lastly, having a lot of problems with emails going through.

**Recommendations to others considering Lawmatics:**

You need to be willing to spend the time training and building it out to get the most use of it. If you want a "ready out of the box" product, go with Clio Grow or something simpler. If you want a more powerful tool, this is definitely it - but be prepared to spend time! (It's worth it, IMO)

**What problems is Lawmatics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to track ROI with various lead sources (e.g. Google LSA, Avvo, Facebook/Google Ads, etc.) is super helpful, and the automations to do followup on various things are fantastic.

**What do you like best about Lawmatics?**

I love that we have complete control over creating as many pipelines and stages as necessary. 

The automation construction capacity is phenomenal. They can be created with a number of different logic trees, if conditions, match on fields, as can be imagined. It's cut down on our workload significantly.

Reports are similarly flexible and customizable. 

Lawmatics makes the system we used before seem like a playschool toy.

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

There are some drawbacks. 

Where it excels as an internal pipeline to move clients, the marketing side of things is awful. I was told by the rep that it could completely replace MailChimp and it doesn't. I wish I had known how limited the functions are for creating audiences. For example, I do not want to send out communication to all 4k contacts in our system without being able to filter on their matter status or custom fields  - but in the Lawmatics universe, you have to choose contacts or matters, and they cannot coexist. And if I try to build an audience from matters, which would bring in both matter and contact custom fields, it gives me great flexibility but excludes contacts that have no associated matters, and my audience is down to 800. The worst part is that if an audience is built from matters - and the contact has more than one matter in our system, let's say 8 matters - they will get 8 duplicate emails, one for each matter. There's no way to prune the audience list or make any edits to it before sending out a campaign or email. It's crazy-making.

The other frustration is that whereas everything is generally very smart and customizable, the task dashboard is beyond limited. Yes, you can sort by soonest due, the assigned team member, by tags...but you can't sort alphabetically to see like tasks side by side. It would be so much better if tasks could be downloaded into a CSV where we could sort by date assigned, completed, and manipulate that data the way we need. Similarly, tasks are not a field that can be brought into Reports.

Speaking of Reports, all of those customizable fields that were built as date fields will download to a CSV as general text. I built a great system for being able to track the movement of our matter and see how many days between each stage....and even though the report looks great, I can't run any meaninful date formulas on it once it's in excel. 

It would be nice if Custom Fields could be sorted and organized in custom folders. We literally have 19 pages of custom fields and if I want to edit one, I have to go searching through 19 pages to find it, even after I sort them by alphabetical order. 

If events are updated or rescheduled or cancelled, the original date and time the event was created gets overwritten with whenever it was rescheduled.

We'd like the ability to sort our matters in the pipeline's stages and order them manually, where the priority is at the top, or oldest to newest based on a custom field date. However they sort to whichever one was touched last at the top.

In general, we have a much better view of what is really going on for our matters and the firm as a whole. It seems that we are more efficient.

**What do you like best about Lawmatics?**

My firm has been using Lawmatics for the past 3 years. It has been very helpful for our Intake Department. One of my favorite things is that we can customize our dashboard, pipeline, matters and so much more. I love how the clients can receive the documents via text and email in a matter of seconds  and everything from the intake form is merged in.

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

Some of the things that we have encountered some difficulty is when the system has some glitches and even though it's for a couple of minutes if at times documents aren't being sent it hurts our numbers because the clients stay waiting for the documents.

**What problems is Lawmatics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have been very good in getting back to us in a timely manner to help us with anything we need. At times we have trouble with the campaigns that we have created and they always have a solution and let us know how we can fix it.

I find that the automations are straightforward and appreciate all the options for reaching out to our clients. Being able to send emails and sms messages directly and knowing if the client has received it and opened it has helped our firm keep in contact

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

Some of the automation could be simpler, and it would be nice to have more customization options on booking forms. It would be nice to be able to schedule emails directly before a particular event. If we could merge Matters (because sometimes clients input their email wrong or use a different one) that would be a bonus.

**Recommendations to others considering Lawmatics:**

The support team is the best and they are always willing to help answer questions! If you need a "one-stop" software for scheduling and managing clients, this is probably it.

Lawmatics has let us keep in better touch with clients and realize when they receive and open emails. I do find that I can be more productive with scheduling and knowing where clients are by utilizing the pipeline and being able to tag matters. Having it sync to Wealth Counsel has saved a lot of time.

It is a learning curve and getting the hang of automations and setting it up is tricky at first. It does require some effort to try to understand fully.

Pulling analytics is easily accessible and helpful to my job.  Also, the tasks can be helpful in making sure everything gets completed for a matter.

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

Not being able to change the venue of a meeting without cancelling and recreating it, resulting in unecessary emails to the client.  For instance, if the client calls and wants to change their zoom consultation to an in-person, I can't just go into the event calendar and change the venue.  I have to recreate the appointment.  Also, random emails (i.e., cancellations or saying it's a zoom, when I selected phone for the appointment.) to clients that aren't prompted by any action on my part.

It can be complex, and they don't give you workflow or email templates to begin with. I wish they did A/B testing orgainically without having to pay attention to analytics.

Having all of the case information right there and being able to customize a lot of it. I like that I can easily find who I am looking for.

I can't stand the way that the task list is. It's not easy to see undone tasks unless you want to see all of the tasks. The documents are also a little clunky and hard to edit.

I appreciate being able to automate responses based on a variety of factors. I also like to see the whole prospect pipeline with flexible kanban views to see the whole picture

Can be hard to learn though the training is truly stellar. I also just hired Legalease Marketing who put together our automations based on years of experience.

**What do you like best about Lawmatics?**

The automations. We are able to use the automation feature to minimize the number of times we "touch" a matter while still focusing on our client's needs. Our previous intake software required lots of manual input to move the matters through the system.

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

Some of the syncing features with our primary practice management and drafting software. It only syncs the primary contact, not any of the related parties. It would be nice to have the related parties information transferred to our drafting and practice management software.

Unique system that works well to cross-communicate with other platforms to help achieve the daily work we need to do in the legal field. Can make adjusts custom to what works well for your own practice. Automations allow for streamlined processes with less effort, allowing for an easy user experience and making sure less falls through the cracks.

Automations can lead to headaches when things go wrong. Sometimes it can be difficult to track the root of a failed automation, and figuring out how to fix the trigger can challenging.

**What problems is Lawmatics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Less attention can be spent on making sure simple forms are sent out, as well as automatically sending forms to clients after the first phone call. Syncing calendar events is a breeze, and Lawmatics as a whole seems like something has been easy for the team to pick up and learn. More specialization is possible as training/knowledge of the Lawmatics system is completed, and there are a lot of really in-depth possibilities!

Lawmatics really helped us with establishing automation for our firm. We didn't have any good automation processes before the implementation of this software. We have had clients tell us that although they recognized that the communications they're receiving are part of automation, they still liked how seamless it was. 

The customer support we've received throughout the onboarding process has been professional and top notch as well.

**What do you dislike about Lawmatics?**

While we like the data reporting functionality that's built in to the software, the custom reports can only be built based on "fields", so if there is no custom field created for a particular datapoint you want to track, there is no way to track it.

This is a great starting point for smaller law firms who don't have any current CRM software.

We have significantly reduced our admin time when it comes to client intake. The automation has allowed us to reallocate the time to other things in our firm and we have become more productive as a result.

The automations are the best feature. Being able to follow up and move the matters through the pipeline automatically without having to manually do anything is a huge timesaver. The forms are also extremely helpful. All potential clients are able to go through the same steps and have a consistent experience each time. The fact that Lawmatics integrates with Clio and we no longer manually set up Clio files has been awesome!

I believe the built-in document builder could improve. The formatting is difficult and not user-friendly. However, it is not a huge deal because we are able to use DocX files instead.

If you are looking for a way to streamline your intake process, at least take advantage of the demo.

**What problems is Lawmatics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we had with our intake process was obtaining all of the information we needed and having a place to store that information. Utilizing an internal form to be able to ensure we are collecting the needed information and knowing once that form is completed the information is readily available to us within the software is a great deal of help. The greatest benefit that Lawmatics has introduced is being able to create and use different forms for different practice areas. Anyone in the firm is able to jump into Lawmatics and create a seamless process for our potential clients.

Lawmatics runs much smoother than other legal CRMs I've encountered. The automation, emails, and client profiles all working together is great for running marketing projects. The ability to connect to zapier is helpful as well.

Automation options could be improved. Would love the ability to trigger based on if someone did NOT open an email. The email system could be improved greatly as well. The organization of emails is really hard if you send a decent amount of emails. The builder could be a little more user-friendly as well. It would be great if we got a few more stats for emails as well as being able to schedule emails to audiences.  Would love if we could send an email from the firm name instead of having to pick a user as well.

We are able to organize interactions with clients, as well as send automated emails and texts to streamline communication.

It's hard to pick one thing to like best-I manage the client experience and love how Lawmatics is allowing us to streamline, consolidate, and communicate with our clients in a way that is best received by them.  Text, email, forms, etc. We can test the success rates of each form and personalize it to our clients.

I would really like to be able to change the colors-I have dyslexia and dyscalculia and certain colors are much easier on my brain.

Automation was our major challenge-I wanted to be able to be in contact with clients without having to touch so many buttons or interfaces-Lawmatics fixed this.

Lawmatics is a well-organized platform that is attractive and easy to use. Excellent support staff who provide Zoom meetings to help you build out a custom system and video tutorials to answer your questions. Our feedback is actually used to help improve the platform.

Lawmatics is still under development. It can run slowly and is a little buggy. Some features that are ideal and available on other platforms aren't (yet) available with Lawmatics.

Scheduling meetings is easy for me and my clients. Custom forms are great. It's easy to build attractive emails. As a true solo, automations help me avoid admin work.

I have not found a better CRM that automates emails, text reminders than Lawmatics. They also have a new client portal that I have been using and my clients have been giving good feedback on.

Lawmatics does take a significant amount of time to set up properly. Make sure you have the manpower to do that on your own (or consider hiring someone who can help build your automations). Once it's all designed and up and running it will greatly improve your firm.

I am using Lawmatics to handle of my client onboard and scheduling of consultations. Once the client books an appointment then I have automations that send confirmation emails, as well as email and text reminders. I also use lawmatics for client intake forms, electronic engagement agreements, as well as client portal to send clients documents.
