My least tech savvy staff really struggle with it, especially on mobile devices, but really in all setttings. If you keep browsers open for a long time without closing tabs, it looks like you're still signed in, but it can't find your saved passwords for sites and you have to troubleshoot and eventually sign back in to get your passwords to auto-population again, but you aren't just naturally prompted for the LastPass password (at least in Safari).

From a user perspective one of the best advantages of using LastPass, is that it generates password suggestions for you that are so much more secure than what a person would make up. This is because as humans we need to remember the password but once LastPass manages them, you only need to remember one master password phrase and it automatically creates, fills and updates all your passwords automatically. While LastPass is excellent for general password management, it lacks advanced features for managing departments within an organization. It would be highly beneficial to have a system where I, as a manager, could assign access levels to specific groups (e.g., Finance, Creative, Marketing, Interns) and manage passwords based on those levels through custom tags or rights. Since becoming a LastPass customer two year ago, our experience continues to get worse over time. The browser plugin consistently has issues now. Users need to sign in multiple times or clear their cache regularly for it to work. The timeout of the plugin rarely works properly and will either sign them out early or not timeout at all. I know it is for my security, but authentication on "unknown devices" often makes it cumbersome to access my LastPass vault from anywhere. I also simply do not like the idea of storing credentials for accessing financial accounts in the cloud, no matter how encrypted. My wife and I utilize LastPass on 5 devices, including a Windows laptop and 4 IOS and MacOS devices. We use the family plan and keep track of inidividual and shared accounts for work, personal finance, e-commerce and other applications. It is easy to install and use, and supports apps, as well as web-based sites. It is especially helpful in assessing the strength of passwords that we choose, and it also supports passwordless operation. The toughest part of using LastPass -- if you're serious about getting feedback on duplicated passwords -- is setting up domain equivalence.
