I like the visual representation of the business process and it is very flexible in the amount of options that are available.

I wish some of the customization via css / Javascript was easier in the Classic Forms designer.

I find Laserfiche easy to use and appreciate the ability to customize forms to the needed data. This allows the requester to provide all the information I need to set up their project and coding to the correct GLs.

I like Laserfiche for its low barrier to entry and how it aids in focusing. The initial setup was easy, especially thanks to having a great vendor.

I find the integration with DocuSign, specifically around contract management and storage, doesn't work as well for me or could be improved.

I like the ease of administration in terms of user creation and the end user's experiences with Laserfiche. The Microsoft Office integration works really well.

The integrations with other platforms like Acrobat could be improved. Also, the ease of add-on installs for the app could be better.

**What do you like best about Laserfiche?**

It has everything we need; a powerful suite of tools for document management, workflow automation, scanning, digital forms, and document repository.  All of the components are full-featured, easy to use, and easy to deploy. The development team at Laserfiche is constantly improving the product, adding new features such as Smart Fields.

**What do you dislike about Laserfiche?**

Some users complain about the web browser user interface for the repository; searching for documents, opening, and printing can be cumbersome but the main issue seems to be the browser itself, and not the application interface. Most issues can be resolved by clearing browser cache, rebooting the computer, etc. but some users require the extra performance of the Windows client, which is very fast and resolves all of these potential issues.

**What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Workflow application helps resolve a lot of automation challenges with handling digital documents, including SQL lookups for metadata.  I believe this is the strongest aspect of the Laserfiche's suite of tools but I'm also very impressed by Quick Fields document scanning and the digital Forms component. We have replaced a lot of cumbersome processes that relied on paper forms, Excel spreadsheets, and email.

Sometimes the attention from the head office is slow, especially in handling cases.

A few things i hope are upcoming.  Out of office on forms letting you redirect to someone (by a particular form).  Also i would like in forms to be able to use a radial to select on a check box .

**What do you like best about Laserfiche?**

Love how flexiable the system is. There are so many ways to automate workflows.
I also love that they have the Laserfiche Answers site, where you can ask for help on anything laserfiche and others can reply to your questions so you get help.  Another create program is the Champions program where you met 1 a month and they show you tips and tricks or new things coming in Laserfiche. There is such a great network of support that you can find help and answers fairly quickly.

**What do you dislike about Laserfiche?**

There has been so many new features, enhancements and training that there really hasn't been a dislike I have found yet.

**What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have created a lot on Automation within our HR and implementing some more solutions to make tasks easier. We have created a lot of new internal forms for Employees to use, so a process that could take a week to be moved around departments now is usually submitted, approved and through within days (sometimes hours). Employees and Supervisors have had been very responsive to using Laserfiche and trying to find more ways to use it in their departments.

Laserfiche can open opportunities for automation while adding structure to a process with Forms. It does take an internal investment and buy in from your org.

**What do you dislike about Laserfiche?**

Some parts of Laserfiche feel a bit cumbersome. I mainly use the Classic Forms Designer because it offers more flexibility. The new designer works well for simpler actions, but since you can’t step back partway through building a form, it feels safer to create the form in the Classic designer instead.

It brings structure through a clear process, especially for onboarding, software procurement, and managing access-rights changes.

I also find their trainings to be very useful, and their customer service is amazing—there's always an expert to reach out to. Additionally, the initial setup was easy.

Sometimes it can be hard to use as a new user.

I enjoy the ease of use, and many case uses such as record management or document storage.

**What do you dislike about Laserfiche?**

Nothing comes to mind. I think if I had to nit pick something is sometimes the error could be hardware related and Laserfiche may not tell you right away.

Laserfiche is helping reduce the amount of time it takes for forms to be completed. One example is instead of documents being sent email to email there is now one place where they can see all task and submit current forms.

I like the search capabilities the best. I also like the records management and work flows.

**What do you dislike about Laserfiche?**

Sometimes I don't understand the terms that are being used to create workflows and what they do. Sometimes I would like more templates.

It's helping us store all of our documents in one place which makes it easier for open records requests.  It's also helping departments collaborate on processes by having a centralized document hub that uses a workflow process. Automating processes are great.

Well structured repository for storing documents and creating workflows to automate business processes.  Very easy to administer and setup security rules.

**What do you dislike about Laserfiche?**

The user interface is a little outdated, but that has been improved recently in version 12.  Would like to see more AI features in the future.

Easy way to store our client documents and ensure the repository security for our users.  Permissions are easy to setup and track.

Laserfiche has granular roles and permissions. It allows me to give users just the level permission they need.

**What do you dislike about Laserfiche?**

User licenses are expensive for smaller organizations. If you don't have several of the optional modules the functionality is reduced

**What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Laserfiche is helping us automate several business processes and we are just getting started.  It definitely has saved staff time and simplified our work process.
