Some of the best features in Laserfiche is the ability to see forms as they go through a business process, who has been assigned tasks in instances and who will be responsible for the next steps. Automatically generated email notifications and communications have helped considerably. The ability to look up and auto-populate data in the forms have also greatly improved many of our business processes. The security features and the ability to create and manage user access through our active directory has reduced our workload and enhanced security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Laserfiche? 3 years ago I had a list of things I found problematic, integration with Oracle database, SAML integration, and the high cost of licenses. Laserfiche has worked over the past couple of years to eliminate the issues that I found troubling, including introducing education subscription licenses, more and better integration, and improved form creation that I no longer have any pet peeves. Recommendations to others considering Laserfiche: Spend lots of time learning about laser fiche capabilities and then really map out your business processes before trying to automate. that will save you several do-overs, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you? During the pandemic, we were able to quickly create and start using forms for many things that had been done on paper when people were working on campus, with a high percentage of our staff teleworking we were able to move to purchase approvals, onboarding, community education class registration quite rapidly. Also, as the federal government passed legislation impacting our staff and students we quickly created and deployed forms related to the Families First Coronavirus response act. We are also using newly developed Lasefiche forms and workflow to take applications for college admittance and to track locations and contact information for our staff.
