**What do you like best about Kula?**

It's a developing product so it's cool to see how much has been changing and improving ever since we started using it and I can imagine the experience with Kula getting better and better. I already love the Notetaker, the CV summaries are great, and it's been also very easy to onboard the whole team to use it as the UI/UX are quite intuitive for most things. 

The support team has also been amazing. They always reply quickly and try to find the best solution to all our issues, and they even follow up to check if everything's going well.

**What do you dislike about Kula?**

During the sales calls before we made the decision, some things were promised to us that didn't end up really working as promised. I think we'd still have went with Kula and I don't feel like it was done on purpose, but more because the Sales team wasn't fully informed about all the features. 

For instance, we were told we'd be able to integrate with Personio but the integration didn't actually work because we don't have the right package on Personio and the Kula team was not aware of this being an issue. 

We were also told that there are GDPR features implemented that would automatically delete candidate's data after a period of time, but it seems like we'd only be able to do that with custom requests to the Kula team which is making the process a bit more time consuming for us.

**What problems is Kula solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's been much easier for us to schedule interviews and we also love the AI features that take the load off of interviewers and let us focus on candidates and the conversation with them.

**What do you like best about Kula?**

AI resume scoring, all kinds of customizations, an AI conversational agent, and an AI notetaker. Kula only uses in-house built small language models across their AI application, so the data is not sent out to any frontier models; it’s all stored within the Kula system itself. The Implementation Managers (Rithwik specifically) and our CSM (Erin) have been incredibly helpful and have guided us through each step of the process, sharing best practices for situations that are specific to our org and how we operate. This level of guidance was missing with our last ATS, and therefore we probably weren’t able to get the most out of that platform.

**What do you dislike about Kula?**

There are a few learning curves for my org around the interview plan workflows and the related activities, but we’re excited to understand them better and put everything into motion.

**What problems is Kula solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kula will reduce our manual workflow activities, which will help us move faster. Because the platform is relatively new and built on AI, there are a lot of benefits compared with outsourcing and trying to tie together different tools. I also appreciate how open they are to feedback and how willing they are to consider it for their product roadmap. Overall, Kula will continue to support my organization’s specific needs based on how we operate.

**What do you like best about Kula?**

Kula is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, even for hiring managers who are not in recruiting tools every day. The interface is clean, workflows are logical, and most actions take fewer clicks than traditional ATS platforms. Implementation was fast and far less painful than expected, which is rare for an ATS, and we were able to migrate and get live quickly without heavy technical lift.

From a recruiter perspective, automation and AI-assisted features meaningfully reduce manual work while still keeping humans in control of decisions. I especially value how easily I can manage high-volume pipelines, track candidate progress, and keep hiring teams informed without chasing people down. Integrations and scheduling also work smoothly, which saves significant time week to week.

Customer support has been excellent — responsive, proactive, and genuinely open to feedback. It feels like a partnership rather than a vendor relationship, which matters a lot when you’re scaling quickly.

**What do you dislike about Kula?**

Because Kula is evolving quickly, there are occasional features that are still being refined or expanded, especially around deeper reporting customization and some edge-case workflows for complex hiring structures. While nothing has been a blocker, there are times when we want more advanced filtering or reporting views as our org and hiring volume scale.

That said, the product team has been very receptive to feedback and we often see improvements rolled out quickly, which makes this feel more like normal growing pains of a fast-moving product than true limitations.

**What problems is Kula solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kula is solving the biggest problem most ATS platforms create: administrative burden. Instead of recruiters spending time updating stages, chasing feedback, and managing disjointed tools, Kula centralizes and automates much of that work so we can focus on candidate experience and hiring quality.

It also solves for consistency and visibility. Hiring managers can clearly see where candidates are in process, feedback loops are faster, and leadership has better insight into pipeline health and hiring velocity. This has helped us shorten time-to-fill, improve candidate communication, and maintain strong hiring standards even as we scale.

From a People Operations and compliance standpoint, having everything in one system — sourcing, interviews, feedback, and offers — reduces risk and improves process integrity, which is critical in a regulated industry like healthcare.

**What do you like best about Kula?**

What I like best about Kula is how easy it makes referral submissions. The process is super simple, everything is clearly tracked, and I always know what’s happening with the candidates I’ve referred. It saves time, avoids confusion, and makes the whole referral flow feel smooth and transparent.

At first it can feel a little overwhelming because there’s a lot going on. You kind of need some time to get used to all the features. But once you’re in the flow, it’s pretty smooth.

Kula solves the confusion and manual follow-ups around referrals. Earlier it was hard to know what was happening with referred candidates, but now everything is in one place and easy to track. For me, that means less back-and-forth, more transparency, and confidence that my referrals are actually being reviewed.

Kula stands out for its incredibly smooth and intuitive automation workflows. While Kula is amazing overall, there are a few areas that can improve. The analytics dashboards could offer deeper insights—especially around outreach performance, funnel drop-off, and team-level benchmarks. I’d also appreciate more customizable templates and advanced filtering options to fine-tune candidate targeting. These aren’t deal-breakers, but polishing them would make the experience even better.

What I like best about Kula is how, despite being a relatively new product, it already offers many of the robust features you’d expect from a top-tier applicant tracking system. Its clean interface, automation capabilities, and seamless integration with recruitment tools make it both powerful and easy to use. I also appreciate how Kula focuses on improving recruiter productivity and candidate engagement — it feels modern, intuitive, and built with real recruiting challenges in mind.

Since Kula is still a relatively new platform, there are occasional bugs and minor performance issues — for example, some pages take time to load or certain features don’t always sync smoothly. However, the team seems responsive to feedback and is constantly rolling out updates to improve stability. I see that as a normal part of growth for a new ATS that’s evolving quickly

The AI scoring works well, and the interface is intuitive. As an ATS, Kula is meaningfully better than the platforms I’ve used in the past, and it’s been a smooth system to work in day to day. As a team of one, I rely on the automated scoring for initial triage, especially on high-volume roles.

Some basic features you’d expect from a more mature ATS are missing, such as the ability to cap the number of interviews scheduled in a day. And like most AI-based screening, highly optimized resumes can occasionally score very well without corresponding real-world experience, though it sounds like the team is actively working on this.

**What do you like best about Kula?**

I have been a Kula user for almost a year now and I’ve been really impressed with the tool. The AI notetaker during interviews and AI candidate scoring have saved me a tremendous amount of time and made my recruiting process much more efficient. Beyond the product itself, the Kula team has been fantastic, I meet monthly with our account manager, and have had great interactions across the board. They’re incredibly receptive to feedback and genuinely proactive about checking in to learn how they can improve the product experience.

**What do you dislike about Kula?**

A few areas for improvement: 
- I struggle getting the data I need from the reporting tool from time to time. The conversational feature is nice, but I think it hinders the ability to adjust filters and requirements for reports.
- We'd love for the job posting page to be more customizable to fit our teams branding 
- We'd love to be able to export a candidate profile (scorecards, resume, offer docs etc.)  for record keeping

**What do you like best about Kula?**

I do enjoy the interface of Kula and how it makes recruitment so much more easier for me and my candidates. We use Kula as our main recruitment tool on a daily basis and its really one of the best systems I have used to date. Not to mention, we have a separate support desk for any questions and issues that we have. The support team at Kula is really quick and I am very happy with the way they help to fix our issues!

**What do you dislike about Kula?**

Perhaps reporting wise its not the best and sometimes some functionality can be better, like for example once a candidate submits their assessment and you move them to the next stage, you are not able to see it again. You need to revert the whole process to access the file. I feel like they did not think through some of the features. Perhaps having all attachments in one place would help. There's also no job integration with indeed or jobstreet, I believe this is something that they are working on.

I have nothing to point out, but as per what I have mention the integration to other boards could be better.

**What do you like best about Kula?**

Features are great and has been by far one of the most intuitive ATS software I have used in the past.
The implementation was quite quick and the migration from our previous ATS was quite seamless.
The integrations are quite seamless with daily use tools that reduce manual effort and helps in creating pipelines for future roles quite seamlessly.
The Customer support has been quite swift. I have always received very quick responses and resolutions for any kind of issues we have had.

**What do you dislike about Kula?**

A few features could be added:
- Adding interview panels to the jobs which could help define the interview panel quite early.
- Sending emails to employees of their referrals when they have been rejected or have progressed to further stages.

Profile screening with AI is one of the best features. Saves a lot of time in finding relevant applications
AI job creation - Helps with creating JDs for roles that need a starting point
Future role pipelining - Helps create dedicated projects so that we can create passive pipeline for any roles that might come into picture

**What do you like best about Kula?**

Kula is a very user-friendly platform that is very easy to implement without being too overwhelming for users. It features a clear UI and a multitude of modern tools that facilitate fast hiring processes. The highlight would definitely be the AI scoring model, which brings to light the highest quality candidate profiles that are aligned with the business requirements.
Their Customer Support team has been very proactive and helped with every challenge we've faced until now.

No feature that engages internal employees on Kula for referral campaigns.
Adding users to the interview panel for the hiring team to appropriate jobs is not yet optimised for.
No customisations for designing a dynamic career page.

Super easy to use, nice user experience in the platform. The most valuable thing is the extension which help to save time while managing the candidates in the process and using LinkedIn at the same time. And it's easy to manage the process and change it in each job.

The reporting part - it does a lot of mistakes, the information is wrong in it and there is no change to see deeper information - funnels by the stages and it collideas all the actions into interviewing stage for example, when contacting or having a phone screen is not the same, but there is no way to change the reporting funnels. All the final information there is wrong in the final stage, so it would be super useful, but we are not able to use it at all. That's annoying and if someone needs ATS with great reporting insights - I would not recommend Kula.

Kula is still a relatively new tool in the market, and like any early-stage platform, there are a few areas still being refined. The upside is that their team is incredibly responsive to feedback, which makes the growing pains far easier to navigate. One of the best parts about getting in early is having that direct line to the team and seeing your feedback quickly turn into improvements.

Product Feedback
There have been a few times I’ve shared enhancement suggestions — for example, the ability to add comments to individual competency ratings on scorecards. These aren’t dealbreakers by any means, but small improvements that would make the user experience even better.

Occasional Bugs & Early Glitches
As with any new product, we’ve run into a few bugs. Some have been minor — for instance, if you use AI to fill in your notes, you’ll want to do that before typing your own, since it can overwrite manual notes. The team is aware and actively working on it.
We also experienced a larger issue tied to a Zoom permissions change on our end (not Kula’s fault!) that temporarily prevented me from scheduling hiring manager interviews. For a short time, I had to manually send invites and take notes outside the platform. That said, Kula’s support team identified the cause, communicated clearly, and had it fully resolved within a day — which speaks volumes about their responsiveness.

Overall, if you’re comfortable adopting a newer tool with cutting-edge functionality, you might encounter a few bumps along the way. But honestly, the innovation, responsiveness, and ease of use far outweigh these minor issues — and their stellar support team makes every hiccup feel manageable.

It's an all-in-one tool! I don't have to worry about scheduling integrations, notetaker integrations, etc. And the ability to use AI to make my job more efficient is a huge upside - both the AI scoring & the notetaker summaries. Plus the team is incredible - between implementation & customer success I have no complaints and feel really well supported! My next step is to integrate a new HRIS with Kula which is already a preferred partner.

I don't have many complaints -- the only area I'm excited to see further development on is reporting. I am a big data nerd and my leadership loves looking at data. They've have been very quick to take my feedback and enhance reporting so I can meet uniquely high demands and requests on activity & insights.

Extremely easy to use - very straight forwards, AI use, responsive to improvement suggestions

The search bar when looking up candidates - it would be great if it would bring up most recently searched candidates etc. I quite often type in a candidate's name and it brings up lots of other candidate profiles I haven't interacted with before.
