## Kudos Reviews
 ### 1. Fun and Engaging, But Rewards Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like that Kudos makes work fun and interesting with fun elements like emojis, GIFs, and stickers. It adds excitement and celebration to otherwise basic and emotionless text exchanges. I find the setup of Kudos super easy, simple, and straightforward, which I love.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I think it could be improved by offering more things you can redeem your points on, maybe requiring less points on certain things. It takes a while for someone to gain as many points as needed for a prize.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps me find the right person in each department.

 ### 2. Kudos is a Fun and Easy Way to Show Appreciation

I don't have any complaints about using Kudos - it's fun, easy and a great resource for us to use to share appreciation!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiranie R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I really appreciate Kudos for its simplicity and ease of use, which makes it very user-friendly and self-explanatory. The intuitive design, with buttons that clearly break down their functions, allows me to express recognition and appreciation effectively. The platform facilitates easy and effective communication among the team, strengthening connections and fostering a positive workplace atmosphere. I find the initial setup of Kudos incredibly straightforward, which is a huge time-saver and stress reducer. Moreover, the feature that provides a box to express personal feelings is very thoughtful, allowing for personalized recognition messages. Overall, the seamless operation and communication capabilities of Kudos contribute significantly to enhancing our team's morale and interaction.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I don't like the cap on the amount of points you can give. It should be a suggestion and not a rule. If I want to give someone 100+ points, I have to do multiple transactions, which can be tedious in a fast-paced environment.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to show appreciation and recognition, solving communication issues and enhancing team interactions effectively.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s very easy to use and has a number of features that make it simple to tell someone they did a great job. In my organization, which works across multiple countries, I don’t see people day to day, so sending and receiving kudos helps create a culture of recognition and appreciation at work.

 ### 11. Effortless Recognition with a Personal Touch

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neira K.

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I really like how Kudos provides a personal and visible way to recognize my coworkers for their contributions, whether it's something small like picking up coffee or something significant like delivering an outstanding client presentation. The platform enables a casual and meaningful way to express gratitude, unlike some automated message systems I've encountered in other companies. I appreciate how Kudos makes it possible for recognition to be more specific and visible to others, allowing everyone to see and acknowledge the efforts of team members. This personal touch enhances the value of the recognition, as not only the person being recognized knows what they have done, but so does the whole team. Moreover, I find Kudos intuitive and user-friendly, especially with the capability of single sign-on through Google. This ease of use means that new members can easily onboard themselves by viewing how others utilize the platform, making it simple to acknowledge achievements, whether minor or significant, in our projects.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I am frustrated by the limitations on how many Kudos points I can send to people. I can't send 100 points to one person, and sometimes I feel I would like to do so. It would be beneficial if I could specify a custom amount for sending points rather than being restricted to preset amounts like $5, $10, $25, $50, or $100.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to formally recognize and reward coworkers visibly, enhancing team morale. It's effective for casual thanks or significant achievements, making recognition personal and encouraging. It simplifies onboarding with intuitive usage and Google sign-on.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole s.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I really like that Kudos allows us to give recognition to our peers for the exceptional work they do, especially since we don't always get that recognition from upper management. It's great that we can give it to each other for the things we accomplish. I also found Kudos to be very easy to use and the initial setup was great.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I don't like the point system that comes with Kudos sometimes because the recognition doesn't always go through.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to let my peers know I recognize their exceptional work. It gives us a way to provide recognition we might not get from management.

 ### 14. Effortless Recognition and Rewards That Motivate Teams

 ### 15. Great employee recognition software for large or even smaller organizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian H. | Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love Kudos because it incentivizes me to recognize employees for doing a good job. Knowing that real-tangible things can come from continued compliments help me prioritize it every month. I also love that if I'm not giving enough Kudos -- the software reminds me to do so in order to make sure I'm not leaving free "points" or compliments on the table.

I also love that it can link your compliments to core values of an organization. It helps employees still recognize that they're valued even in times of turmoil or difficulty for an organization.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I dislike that not enough Executive Sponsors are using it frequently. This may be an internal organization problem -- but wondering if there is a way for the software to increase the usability by Executive Sponsors.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem Kudos is solving is it is facilitating employee recognition without putting the administrative burden too much on employers.

I wish I could have access to Kudos for my family, it would be an amazing tool to help motivate so its perfect for the workplace and its incredibly easy to integrate into your day to day at work.

The only downside is that your kudos can be public so it may lead some employees to feel left out if they see everyone got a kudos but them, however you can make it private so Kudos already solved that issue!

Kudos is basically like giving my coworkers a virtual high five that they can redeem for real world gift cards, its been amazing for lifting morale in the office and increasing employee engagement

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I can share my thanks, blessings, greetings, happy wishes, or anything that will put a smile on someone face easily from my desk. Immediately I get a response from that person or even a visit letting me know they saw my message and they're grateful for my words. It's also nice being on the receiving end! The customization and cute stickers and use of emojis makes it lots of fun as well! You can really make the messages come from you! It's like a personal card!! I love using this platform and no longer miss the physical kudos cards.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

It's digital, but that's the world we live in. It would be cute if there was an easy print option! I'd love to have my kudos printed out, but this is just as functional lol.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos is helping me share my thoughts and recognition of my peers. It helps me communicate with those I can't physically thank as well!

 ### 19. Encourages Teamwork with Rewards, Needs More Participation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tommy J.

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love the concept of giving a shout out to coworkers who go above and beyond. I also enjoy the idea of being able to trade points for rewards, which gives a small incentive to take that extra step. Additionally, the initial setup of Kudos was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

Not enough coworkers use it. I also think there could be a few more options for rewards or the point values could be higher so it's a bit easier to reach the goal of whatever reward you desire.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos for 'Cheers for Peers' to recognize teammates who show extraordinary commitment to teamwork. It gives a small incentive through point rewards, encouraging extra effort. However, not enough coworkers use it, and I'd like more reward options or higher point values.

As an over-achiever, I sometimes start feeling burned out in my work. When I receive Kudo points from leadership acknowledging my hard work, it eases some of the burden I am feeling and offers incentive for me to continue my hard work.

 ### 31. Kudos Makes Colleague Appreciation Easy and Meaningful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha B. | Customer Service Agent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos is a great way to show appreciation to colleagues for the help and support they provide throughout the work week.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

There’s nothing I dislike about Kudos, since it’s a positive reinforcement tool.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos provides an extra incentive to help coworkers. It also helps cover lunch, gas, or small necessities during pay periods.

 ### 32. Great experience using this platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nash D. | Administrator, People & Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love the badges and all the options you have within the platform. I use it quite often, and I love it when I can make someone's day by sending a kind message. The app is user-friendly, easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

Sometimes there are some glitches. For example, I have not been able to use the app because it does not recognize my password, yet when I enter that same password in the internet browser, it works.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making co-workers feel more connected and appreciated. It encourages team building and collaboration.

 ### 33. Useful AI Features, Needs Better Slack Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Software engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I have been using Kudos for almost two years, primarily to recognize my coworkers. I appreciate how Kudos is integrated with our company’s employee list, which makes it really effective for finding things. One of the standout features is the AI-powered text editing. As someone who struggles with spelling and constructing sentences in English, this feature is invaluable as it helps me craft well-written Kudos. It enhances my ability to give meaningful and well-structured recognition to my coworkers. The combination of these features makes Kudos a useful tool for me in expressing appreciation in the workplace.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I find that Kudos seems siloed and lacks seamless integration with Slack. It feels too complex to give someone kudos via a simple Slack message, making the process cumbersome. It would be valuable to have a more straightforward method to award kudos within Slack channels.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to give coworkers a thumbs up for a job well done. Its AI assists with text editing, helping me write well-crafted kudos despite my spelling challenges.

 ### 34. Kudos to Kudos!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan J. | Medical Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

What I like best about Kudos is how it creates a culture of appreciation. It’s such a simple but powerful way to recognize the hard work and positive impact of teammates. It really boosts morale and helps everyone feel seen and valued. There are so many features to enjoy and the implementation of it is amazing!

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I really like Kudos overall—it’s such a fun way to recognize people! If I had to pick something to improve, maybe just making the shout-outs more visible across teams. It’d be cool if more people got to see all the awesome things happening outside their own group!

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos is awesome because it helps solve the problem of people’s hard work going unnoticed. It makes it super easy to give quick shout-outs and celebrate wins—big or small. For me, it’s a great motivator and just makes the workday feel more positive and connected!

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I appreciate the very easy and intuitive setup of Kudos, which allows me to hit the ground running without any hassle. I enjoy using Kudos because it makes the process of giving and receiving recognition swift and straightforward. The ability to give recognition to multiple people at once is a feature I find extremely beneficial, as it saves me time and effort when acknowledging my colleagues. I also like how using Kudos lets me see what others in my team are thankful for, which fosters a positive work environment. Additionally, the platform allows me to turn recognition into something tangible, enhancing motivation and engagement in the workplace. It’s a pleasure to see recognition speeding up the appreciation process within our organization, making it a tool I look forward to using regularly.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I do not dislike anything in particular about kudos

 ### 37. A great incentive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priscilla R. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos is a great way to motivate peers, it feels like the cherry on top of having a great team. Being a project manager it feels like a great way to acknowledge my team when they go above and beyond with their work. Its very straightforward to use, the UI is intuitive, and I´ve never had any problems using it. Its also fun that you can add GIFs and emojis. For those lacking inspiration, the AI feature is a good way to write an eloquent and fun message. I use it at least once a week. I´ve never had to use their customer support, but the setup of the account was super straightforward and I was able to use it right away.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I believe that an improvement would be to make it easier to make your own groups, instead of having to type every member of your team every time. Besides that, there aren´t any features I dislike.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos is a very tangible benefit in our company, since we can boost morale during busy times, give a shoutout, and acknowledge between peers. The fact that there is a feed, we can see who has been giving their extra effort, and how they are keeping up. As a project manager being able to give my team a shoutout with a point system is wonderful.

 ### 38. All the Best of Social Media, None of the Negativity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It feels like the best parts of social media, without any of the worst components. It's engaging but without the negative and comparative pieces of Facebook or Instagram.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

To my knowledge, the functionality is not quite as expansive as Facebook or Instagram. Nor is the population as large as on those international recreational social media platforms.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves, whether or not this is its primary goal, is feeling more like "part of" (belonging). I noticed this was a big problem in my last company, when COVID hit, and we went fully-remote. Now that I'm back in the office (but hybrid) I am still acutely aware of that spectrum from disengaged to engaged.

 ### 39. Transforms Company Culture with Fun Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashlee D.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I really appreciate how Kudos has transformed our company culture into something fun and light while encouraging colleagues to acknowledge each other’s achievements. It creates a space where calling out and celebrating wins is enjoyable and engaging. Unlike our previous method using Google Docs and spreadsheets, which was not well-organized or dynamic, Kudos offers a social media-like platform that makes interactions fun and promotes participation. I've noticed a significant increase in engagement across the company since we started using Kudos. One of my favorite aspects is the ability to leave kudos, allowing us to give and receive recognition publicly, which is both rewarding and motivational. This feature has cultivated a sense of community where one positive message can inspire additional comments and recognition from others, creating a ripple effect across our team. I love how I'm able to go on regularly, comment on posts, and create new kudos because I thrive on offering words of encouragement. It genuinely feels like a platform built to promote positivity and engagement, which is why I believe its value is in how it encourages participation and brings out the best in team interactions.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I'm not aware of using any other software alongside Kudos, which suggests potential limitations in integration options. While not a direct dislike, this makes me curious about the platform's compatibility with other software solutions. Additionally, there is a slight suggestion towards exploring the ability to share Kudos directly on social media accounts.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to boost company culture, promoting encouragement and recognition through a fun, social media-like platform, enhancing participation and making compliments public, which feels rewarding for both givers and receivers.

 ### 40. Empowers Recognition and Boosts Morale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin G.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos to recognize colleagues who make a significant difference in our collaborative work, which shows the platform's effectiveness in fostering a positive work environment. It complements verbal affirmations with tangible rewards, enhancing motivation and engagement within the team. I love how giving Kudos motivates colleagues to continue performing well, noticed by the improved quality of work in the months following the recognition. The features I find most useful include the ability to give Kudos points, the convenient autofill for names, and the AI offerings that aid in refining messages, even though I use it briefly each month. What stands out particularly is the simplicity of Kudos and the fact that employees genuinely like it. Moreover, the ability to tag qualities such as respect and being solutions-oriented when recognizing someone's impact adds a personalized touch that resonates well among coworkers. Kudos just works and integrates seamlessly into our workflow, enhancing our team's morale and productivity.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I think the rewards system in Kudos could be improved. While the current rewards are effective, enhancing them further might potentially increase the impact of recognizing and motivating colleagues. By making rewards more compelling, they could drive greater engagement and appreciation within the team.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to recognize colleagues with tangible rewards, boosting morale and encouraging great work, resulting in more productivity.

 ### 41. Elevates Team Recognition with Fun, Ease, and Effectiveness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I like using Kudos to recognize co-workers when they go above and beyond, and it helps me express gratitude where they can always see it. It's cool that it's also visible to managers, showing them how their employees are doing. What I like most about Kudos is that we can add GIFs and stickers to messages, which makes things fun and personal. It's very easy to use, and the point system is great. The easy setup makes it even better.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I like everything.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos for recognizing co-workers. It helps me express my gratitude visibly to them and their managers, making appreciation permanent. The ability to use GIFs and stickers makes it fun and personal, and the point system adds to its ease of use.

 ### 42. An Easy Way to Show Appreciation from Anywhere

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

that i can show someone my appreciation without physically being there

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

i wish Kudos would give us more points per month to give so i can appreciate more

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps for me to see the updates such as Birthdays for my coworkers and i can wish them and make their day and that makes me happy

 ### 43. Kudos is an excellent platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura P. | National Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos is a fantastic tool for giving recognition in a quick, convenient, and meaningful way. My team is fully virtual, spanning both Canada and the U.S., and I really appreciate that the rewards are transferable across regions. One of the most valuable features is the flexibility—it allows you to decide how much recognition to give based on the situation. Some months I recognize three team members, other months six—it all depends on the impact. I'm using the program often.

Points are received almost instantly, and the redemption process has always been fast and seamless. In nearly two years of using Kudos, I’ve never had to contact customer support, which speaks to how well the platform works.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I have no negative or constructive feedback to offer—the program has been great!

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While Kudos isn’t solving a specific problem for me personally, it provides value to the team by offering a widely used platform to recognize and celebrate each other’s contributions.

 ### 44. Kudos is a fun way to recognize and reward colleagues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Capria J. | Program Operations Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love how Kudos lets you send points in recognition of colleagues efforts but also gives you a chance to publicly appreciate people with words/ emojis / gifs / tags etc. In a busy remote working environment it can be difficult to know if your work is being registered in a positive way and I love that Kudos is such an easy and fun way to tell your coworkers what a great job they are doing.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

My one complaint about Kudos is I feel like it can be hard to see just who I have given recognition to each month. Our workplace gives us a set amount of points to distribute each month and I like to be sure that I'm spreading the love, but it can be difficult to see who I've given points to in the last few months because it is mixed in with all the points others have given me.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is giving us another mechanism to reward and recognize the work of our colleagues besides just bonus and merit raises and promotions.

 ### 45. Effortless Recognition and Easy Setup

I particularly appreciate how it assists with recognition, providing an environment where contributions are noticed and valued, which is important for team morale and motivation. It's noteworthy that the companies that collaborate with Kudos are impressive, adding to the overall value of the service. Moreover, the setup process for Kudos is very easy, which made the initial transition smooth and hassle-free. I realized the benefit of the system in recognizing achievements consistently, which is a significant factor in my enjoyment of the platform. Additionally, my positive experience is underscored by my willingness to recommend Kudos to others, rating my likelihood to do so as a perfect 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

nothing

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**
