## Kudos Reviews
 ### 1. Transforming Workplace Appreciation with Kudos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vamsi Krishna A. | Sr. Systems Performance Engineer, Insurance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

The Kudos app is a standout platform for building a positive and engaging workplace culture. Designed to make recognition simple and meaningful, it allows team members to easily appreciate one another’s efforts in real time—something many organizations struggle to do consistently.
One of the biggest strengths of Kudos is its user-friendly interface. Sending recognition takes just a few seconds, yet it feels personal and impactful. The ability to tie recognition to company values is especially powerful, as it reinforces what truly matters within the organization and encourages behaviors that align with its culture.
The app also excels in boosting team morale and engagement. By making appreciation visible across the organization, it fosters transparency and creates a sense of belonging among employees. Whether it’s celebrating small wins or major achievements, Kudos ensures no contribution goes unnoticed.
Another highlight is the reporting and analytics features. Managers and HR teams can gain valuable insights into employee engagement trends, recognition patterns, and team dynamics. This data can be instrumental in improving performance and retention strategies.
Overall, Kudos is more than just a recognition tool—it’s a culture-building platform. It helps organizations create a supportive, motivated, and connected workforce. For companies looking to enhance employee engagement and strengthen team relationships, Kudos is a highly effective solution.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

Could benefit from deeper integration with more third-party tools
Customization options may feel limited for some organizations

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos solves the common problem of lack of timely recognition and appreciation in the workplace. In many organizations, employees’ efforts often go unnoticed, which can lead to low morale, disengagement, and reduced motivation. It also addresses communication gaps by providing a transparent and easy way for team members to recognize each other’s contributions.
For me, Kudos has made a noticeable difference by creating a culture of appreciation and positivity. It motivates me to perform better, knowing that my work is acknowledged not just by managers but also by peers. It has also improved team collaboration, as recognizing others encourages stronger relationships and a more supportive work environment. Overall, it helps me feel valued, engaged, and more connected to the organization’s goals.

 ### 2. Fun Recognition and Insightful Manager Dashboard, Minor Comment Flaws

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle M. | Senior VP / Chief Financial Officer at Baton Rouge Telco FCU, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos for recognizing my coworkers. It provides a forum for cultural-related feedback, congratulations, and appreciation when a coworker helps out. Kudos makes it fun to provide feedback by offering animated GIF memes and ways to cash in points. I also think leader dashboarding is a nice feature because it allows me to get more insight into the usage my team gets out of the program.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The weakest part of the platform to me is the comments on posts. You can't edit or delete comments after you post them. There are no animations available to post in comments or reactions to other people's posts. Also, the emojis in the software are outdated. These are very minor complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Kudos:**

Would it be helpful if your staff received positive feedback from their peers and colleagues? Or would you consider that to be a distraction? Would you like an additional avenue for providing incentives to staff?

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos for cultural related feedback and appreciation in my team. It makes feedback fun with animated GIFs and offers points to cash in, boosting morale and insight into team usage. I've been surprised by how much the service helps cross organizational silos and

 ### 3. A Motivating Recognition Platform with Clear Praise Levels and Automated Milestones

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit G. | Cloud Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Dedicated digital employee recognition and rewards platform designed to boost workplace morale and culture. The Performance Index: Praise is tiered into clear, motivational levels like Thank You, Good Job, Impressive, and Exceptional. Core Value Alignment: Every message links directly to the organization's unique corporate pillars to reinforce good behaviors. Automated Milestones: The system handles virtual greeting cards and announcements for birthdays or work anniversaries automatically.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

Monthly Point Ceilings: Users are restricted by a hard cap on how many points they can distribute each month. No Point Rollovers: Unused allowance points generally expire at the end of the month rather than rolling over. Diminished Reward Value: Frequent collaborators often feel they run out of points too quickly, which can make the token appreciation feel insufficient or less meaningful.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low Employee Engagement: The platform combats workplace disconnect by providing a central space for regular appreciation. Siloed Departments: Peer-to-peer recognition helps break down barriers between remote or isolated teams. High Staff Turnover: Recognizing employees regularly improves job satisfaction, which helps retain top talent. Invisible Contributions: The public feed highlights hard work that managers might otherwise miss. Vague Corporate Culture: Tying praise directly to core values makes abstract company mission statements tangible.

 ### 4. Great Incentive Program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabella G. | Administrative Support Consultants, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It is a great incentive program where you can show appreciation to your colleagues, for their help, performance and work in general. To have the possibility to send Kudos is really important because for sure I know that is an honest message from a colleague that is genuinely thankful or that is really recognizing our work and the job that has been done.

It is a really friendly app, doesn't require any training to understand how it works.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

To have a limit of points available for a same person...there're some cases where we interact mainly with a person or a department so the appreciation can be repetitive.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes employees can feel that their work is unrecognized or goes unnoticed but with Kudos there's a big opportunity to receive recognition from anyone in the organization, which also promotes teamwork and engagement.

 ### 5. Easy, Wholesome Kudos That Strengthen Company Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** silindokuhle m. | Consultant Insights, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like that it gives me to give my collegues some appreciation for all their hard work. It makes the thank you feel more impactful.

I like the fact that I can also see other people's kudos within the company and feels really wholesome and push a beautiful company culture.

The software itself is easy and quick to use. I really enjoy using the gif feature especially if I run out of words to say when sending out kudos. Being able to see the overall kudos I have received is also lovely and builds my spirit especially when having a low day.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

It is a pretty great software but there are delays at times on when vouchers reflect when trying to redeem the vouchers. Where things that time to reflect and I have to go to the finance lady and show her screenshots to prove that I redeemed a voucher.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A great way to build a positive company culture and make everyone feel appreciated through out the year and projects.

 ### 6. Employee Recognition with added Bonus

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard C. | Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

As a manager, I value being able to offer something beyond a simple “job well done” or “thank you”—something more tangible that carries a monetary value, no matter how small. Giving employees the option to choose their own gift card and tailor it to their preferences makes the recognition feel more meaningful, since they can apply it toward specific items they might not otherwise buy for themselves. In my opinion, these elements make it feel like more than just a small cash bonus, and the interactive experience of redeeming Kudos adds another layer of meaning to the appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The downside is when an organization has this in place, but not everyone uses it consistently (or is properly informed). When someone passes along a sincere “thanks,” but no kudos follows, the recipient can end up feeling like that appreciation is somehow less valuable. There also tends to be less buy-in (or incentive) for employees to give kudos to others when there are no redeemable aspects. As a result, people who don’t have kudos points to send (not in managerial positions) often don’t use this feature very much.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using kudos regularly makes a “thank you” feel more meaningful by attaching a tangible gift or token of appreciation to the message. While it isn’t the same as a bonus, the small monetary token (and the ability to give larger kudos rewards depending on the nature of the task or what’s being recognized) is an excellent way to pass along acknowledgments. When kudos is used consistently by everyone—especially at management and upper-management levels—it creates a positive morale boost through tangible reward.

 ### 7. Helping recognition land in a remote team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** phumzile s. | Senior Global Programs Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

What I like best about Kudos is how easy it makes it to recognise people in the moment. It creates visibility for great work across the wider team, reinforces the behaviours we want more of, and helps keep morale and connection strong, especially when we’re working remotely.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

What I dislike about Kudos is that it can start to feel a bit repetitive or transactional if it’s used as a quick “thank you” tool without much detail. I find it’s most valuable when people include clear context (what was done, why it mattered), otherwise the recognition can lose some of its impact.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos solves the problem of recognition getting lost in day to day work, especially in a remote environment where good work isn’t always visible. It creates a simple, consistent way to acknowledge contributions publicly and in the moment.

 ### 8. Empowers Team Recognition with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavan S. | Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos to recognize and appreciate colleagues for their contributions and teamwork. It helps highlight employees who go the extra mile and makes recognition visible across the organization, which encourages a positive work culture and keeps teams motivated.

What I like most about Kudos is how simple and quick it is to recognize colleagues. Appreciation is visible across the company, helping build a positive culture and keeping employees motivated. I also like that recognition is shared publicly, so good work gets noticed by both peers and leadership. The initial setup of Kudos was also very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

One area Kudos could improve is the depth of its insights and reporting. It would be helpful to have more detailed analytics on recognition trends, along with clearer ways to see how those trends connect to team performance. Also, recognition messages can sometimes feel a bit repetitive, so offering more personalization options or better prompts could help people write notes that feel more specific and meaningful.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to recognize colleagues and make appreciation visible across the company. It addresses the issue of good work going unnoticed by offering a central place for recognition, which helps boost engagement, transparency, and overall team morale.

 ### 9. Bridges Gaps in Remote Recognition with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saud S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos for peer-to-peer recognition which works well for remote teams by making recognition visible and frequent, even if people are working in different locations and time zones. The social feed keeps everyone connected and aware of each other's contributions, which is critical in a distributed environment. It helps solve the challenge of maintaining team culture and recognition in remote work environments, bridging the gap created by physical distance. This improves morale, strengthens team connections, and encourages ongoing team collaboration. Sometimes recognitions are sent in small prizes, but they are enough to help you get recognized across the team and keep working toward your goals. In a remote setup, engagement requires more effort, but Kudos has made it easy to recognize employees across geographies.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The rewards catalog is limited depending on the region and not all options are meaningful. Engagement seems to drop if leadership does not promote Kudos.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to make recognition visible and frequent across remote teams, bridging physical gaps and strengthening team morale and connectivity.

 ### 10. A Simple, Meaningful Way to Recognize Hard Work and Build Team Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emil C. | Assistant ENgineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

What I like most about Kudos is that it offers a simple, meaningful way for us to recognize each other’s hard work. It helps bring attention to contributions that might otherwise go unnoticed, and it strengthens a positive, supportive team culture.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I’m not able to manually enter Kudo points. For example, I wanted to use points to recognize two people, but to use all 50 points I have to send three different Kudo messages.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps address recognition gaps by providing a structured way to acknowledge contributions in real time. It makes sure that efforts—both big and small—are seen and appreciated. For me, this boosts morale, strengthens a positive team culture, and helps me better understand and value the work others are doing across the organization.

 ### 11. Effortless Team Recognition, Boosts Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shreyansh J. | CA Industrial Trainee, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos to recognize colleagues for their support, teamwork, and achievements. It’s a simple, straightforward way to show appreciation for good work and help keep the team motivated. Kudos also makes it easy to appreciate colleagues, boost team morale, and keep everyone engaged without needing a formal process.

What I like most about Kudos is how it makes appreciation simple and visible across the team. It helps me recognize good work right away and encourages a positive, motivating work environment. The initial setup was very easy as well—I received an official email to sign up and was able to start using it immediately.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

One area Kudos could improve is offering more customization options and stronger notification features. At times, it would be really helpful to have additional ways to personalize recognition so it feels more tailored.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to recognize colleagues for their support and achievements. It makes it easy to acknowledge team efforts quickly and publicly, which helps boost morale and motivation without needing a formal process.

 ### 12. Makes Recognition Visible and Meaningful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin K. | Senior Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

What stands out most about Kudos is how it turns recognition into something visible, consistent, and meaningful—making appreciation part of the culture instead of an afterthought.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

What I like least about Kudos is that recognition can sometimes feel repetitive or surface-level, making it harder for truly meaningful contributions to stand out.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos solves the problem of recognition being inconsistent, invisible, or forgotten—especially in busy or distributed teams. It creates a centralized, transparent way to highlight contributions in real time, so people don’t have to rely on occasional shoutouts or annual reviews to feel valued.
For me, that means better visibility into what teammates are doing, stronger morale, and a more connected team culture. It also helps reinforce the behaviors and results that actually matter, which makes expectations clearer and recognition feel more aligned with impact rather than just effort.

 ### 13. Versatile Recognition Tool with Robust Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fady G. | Director Project Delivery & QAQC, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like the different ways or categories of saying thank you, from exceptional praise all the way down to a simple 'thank you.' It's great that Kudos allows us to use our own words to express appreciation. The AI feature that helps rewrite comments in a nice professional way is also a plus. Additionally, I appreciate the versatility in converting points into useful and practical items like gift cards. Kudos gives us several options to choose from, which is really nice because it lets people decide how they want to spend their points.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I can't think of something specific right now. In our company, we have employees and contractors. So I think sometimes the contractors are not able to benefit from this. So I realized that this is probably a company policy. It also would be nice to sometimes be able to [extend Kudos] to people that are not employees.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos allows us to quickly recognize and award employees virtually, providing flexibility in how we express gratitude. We can personalize appreciation with different categories and use AI to refine our messages. The platform's versatility in converting points to gift cards adds practicality.

 ### 14. Loving Kudos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love how easy it is to recognize colleagues and team members for the excellent work and contributions they make to our organization. I like the ability to add Gifs, tag leaders, and if needed, use AI to help craft your message. I also love the eCard feature which allows me to recognize individuals with a variety of card types. eCards are a great way to welcome new team members or celebrate those special moments in their life such as birthdays, graduations, new grand babies!!!

Then there is the marketplace for cashing in those Kudos rewards!!! I love the options of gift cards, merchandise, or donate to charity! What a fabulous marketplace!

From an administrative point of view, the system was easy to implement, maintain, and support.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

It would be great if points could be given with an eCard. It also would be fantastic if a user who doesn't want a post to appear on their wall to mark it private themselves (or only for theirs if its a group post) without having it go to the admin as inappropriate content.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This allows individuals to recognize the great work of others, which increases Employee Engagement and the Employee Experience. This supports the Culture that we seek to foster in our Health Care System.

 ### 15. Kudos Makes Employee Recognition and Engagement Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vijaysing P. | Test Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos’ greatest asset is its recognition program for employees which helps in recognizing and acknowledging the achievements and fostering company’s core values. Peer to peer recognition tools, social interaction applications, and reward system make it an excellent tool to foster positive work environment through encouragement of employee recognition and engagement.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

nothing to add this time from my side everything seems fine

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos provides an excellent solution for sustaining consistency in recognizing employees, engaging with them, and building culture within the workplace. It is advantageous to its users since it helps them recognize the effort of others instantly while promoting the values of their organization, enhancing employee morale and engagement.

 ### 16. A Motivational Boost with Org-Wide Shoutouts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoey S. | SDR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It’s been a great motivational boost at work, and it lets us send shoutouts to others across the org, not just within our department. It’s also a helpful way to see what others are doing internally for the company, which supports everyone’s success.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I haven’t encountered any downsides so far. Overall, this platform has been better than most of the others I’ve used in the past.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping solve burnout because I’ve been able to get recognized for my accomplishments in the company, instead of just being told I’ve done a great job. It motivates me to keep doing what I’m doing, and it’s also a great way to be rewarded with points that I can then use to get gift cards or other gifts.

 ### 17. Empowers Remote Appreciation and Rewarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navjot Kaur G. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos at my workplace to appreciate and thank my co-workers, which I really like because it helps me express gratitude even when I'm not very expressive. It's a great way to express thanks, especially when working remotely, because I can send Kudos to say thank you to people. I also appreciate that my colleagues can redeem Kudos for rewards they like, which adds to its value.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I will really appreciate if more gift card options can be added for grocery stores

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I might not be that expressive, but Kudos gives me a chance to thank my coworkers, even remotely. It's a great way to express myself, and they can redeem Kudos for rewards they like.

 ### 18. Essential for Employee Recognition and Detail

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | National Sales Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos to recognize employees for their great work and make sure that the right people get credit for the amazing work they do, which contributes toward customer satisfaction. I like that it gives me plenty of space to enter in critical details that embellish someone's results in as much detail as possible. The ability to use 1000 characters allows me to provide a detailed review of a certain project that highlights the employee. The initial setup of Kudos was simple.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

nothing because it's simple

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to recognize employees for their great work, ensuring the right people get credit and contribute to customer satisfaction. It allows me to provide detailed reviews, giving me plenty of space to capture the details of someone's achievements.

 ### 19. Kudos Makes Company-Wide Recognition Easy and Rewarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica F. | Field Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos makes it easy to recognize coworkers and highlight great work across the company. I like that it offers different levels of recognition depending on the impact, so you can give a quick thank-you or a larger acknowledgment when someone goes above and beyond. It also helps give visibility to employees outside of your immediate team. Our company also ties points to rewards, which adds a fun incentive and encourages people to actively recognize one another.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

There isn’t much to dislike, but like many recognition platforms, it works best when people actively use it. If teams aren’t consistent about recognizing others, the impact can be a little limited. It would also be nice to see even more reward options or additional ways to surface top recognitions across the organization.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps solve the challenge of recognizing great work across a large organization where many contributions might otherwise go unnoticed. It creates an easy and visible way for employees to thank one another and highlight impactful work across teams. For me, it’s beneficial because it helps build a culture of appreciation, increases visibility into what others are accomplishing, and makes it easy to recognize colleagues who go above and beyond. The points and rewards system also adds a fun incentive that encourages more people to participate in recognizing great work.

 ### 20. Perfect for Boosting Team Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Júlia K. | Senior customer advocate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos makes it really easy to recognise teammates for their help and hard work. I like that you can give appreciation in the moment instead of waiting for a review or team meeting. Seeing recognition shared across the company helps create a positive vibe and reminds you that your work is noticed. It is a really easy app to use.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I don't like that you can send an award with no points sometimes.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps keep morale up, especially in busy or high‑pressure work environments. It encourages people to support each other and say thank you more often, which makes a real difference to team culture and motivation. It helps with getting small bonuses throughout the year too.

 ### 21. Effortless Recognition Platform with Real Life Rewards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary "Ganon" J. | CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) Banking Representative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like that Kudos provides a platform that gives recognition to coworkers and awards them with points that can be turned into gift cards and other things they can use in real life. It's super simple to set up; I just logged in, and all my coworkers' information was there, so I could easily search them to give them recognition whenever the time was right. I’d give it a nine out of ten as it’s a really good product. It's a great way to recognize teammates, and I think more companies should use Kudos or a similar product that gives recognition to colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The only thing I wish I could do is give more than 50 points to one individual in a month. I think if they deserve 100 or 120 points, I should be able to send them.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos doesn't really solve any problems, but it's a great tool to recognize coworkers and peers. It gives recognition and awards points that can be turned into gift cards and other usable rewards.

 ### 22. Easy-to-Use Kudos with Helpful Reminders and an AI Writing Boost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aisha C. | Pharmacist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I enjoy being able to give recognition and, in a way, give back to my colleagues who help make my everyday work enjoyable and fun, and who also support me. It is super easy to use on a day to day basis. I like that we get periodic reminders in our email so that we can remember to give thanks. The website performs well and is super easy to use. I also like the new AI feature as it can refine and make our Kudos more easy to understand

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

It takes a bit of digging to figure out how many Kudos I have and what their cash value is, which can make them a little difficult to use.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps bring colleagues together by reducing the distance between us and creating a more positive environment.

 ### 23. Empowering Employee Recognition with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan L. | Integrated Designer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like that Kudos serves as a good incentive for staff beyond just the salary we receive. Within a few months, we can accumulate enough Kudos points to pay for a voucher or an item, like the sneakers I recently bought. I find Kudos easy to use, and I appreciate how it allows me to share points with other staff members either through a public feed or privately. I only use the private posting feature because it lets me reward colleagues without others seeing how many points I awarded anyone else.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The only issue I have is when you have to cash out points. There are many different stores or vendors to choose from, but it lacks the ability to cash out specific amounts which in my opinion would be amazing. Also, the initial setup took a bit of back and forth with the team to make it applicable to the South African market.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos serves as a good incentive separate from salary, allowing us to reward each other monthly. It's easy to use, and I value the private posting feature to avoid any public judgment about who receives points.

 ### 24. Empowering and Appreciative, But Points Need Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santino E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I appreciate that Kudos gives others an opportunity to share positive feedback for the work they do. I like being able to recognize someone for their hard work and dedication. It's nice to send descriptive messages to people along with points as a show of appreciation. The initial setup of Kudos was super easy, just needed my work number and my own password. It's really nice to show appreciation for others and also use your own points for gift cards and whatnot. I highly recommend it because it effectively allows me to appreciate and recognize colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I don't see any problems with it other than having to try and recognize everyone but 100 points only allows me to recognize 11 people with 5 points when I want to give everyone at least 10 or more.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos lets us share positive feedback and recognize hard work, which I appreciate. I like sending descriptive messages with points to show appreciation.

 ### 25. Reliable, Easy-to-Use Recognition That People Love

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy G. | Global Implementation Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It's positive features for the person giving as well as the person receiving (LOVE the little unicorn & rainbow that's just appeared!). Really helps us use it, and want to use it. It works reliably and is really easy to use. It would be nice for companies to be able to reduce the amount of points behind each recognition, in case it's too expensive for a period, but we can still keep using it.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

When we have to switch off the reward amounts behind the recognition, that has felt very negative & I think has turned many of us off using it, while we adjust, unfortunately. But I think that's more our company's policy, rather thank Kudos'.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team morale, company morale, it REALLY helps us work remotely/cross-borders/cross-languages.

 ### 26. Easy Recognition and Tangible Rewards That Boost Performance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth James D. | HR Staff, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I was able to recognize people for their efforts while also giving them tangible rewards for it.
it also gives way to reward performance while giving feedback to their actions

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

giving more people to recognize talents and be able to interact with a bigger scope and larger audience makes kudos an enjoyable experience. It also give others platform to promote and share both professional and personal experience.

the usual downside is more on the availability as well as some possible accessibility issues

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More than just its capabilities, Kudos has helped me create the personal space to express myself and to recognize others’ help and achievements in the workplace.

 ### 27. Easy, Meaningful Team Feedback—Kudos Gives Recognition a Purpose

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos is easy to use, and a thoughtful way to provide meaningful feedback to my team. It fills a gap that I'm not sure would happen otherwise... as it can be hard to communicate how you feel about someone's work day-to-day. Kudos gives you a place and purpose.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

Unless you're actively thinking about it, it goes unused. In addition, like many recognition platforms, the downside is that the same people get recognized over and over again (as it's the same people providing feedback over and over again), and can become more of a popularity contest. However, the product itself seems to work great and I haven't personally run into any issues.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recognition is the obvious answer here, as it creates a space for colleagues to recognize each other and their exemplary work. That helps to create a positive working culture and would hopefully reduce turnover (without direct attribution).

 ### 28. Effortlessly Elevates Team Recognition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasad K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos at my workplace, Relatient, to recognize my colleagues on a broader platform so their work is appreciated across the entire organization. It helps ensure that individual contributions don't go unnoticed and creates a culture where people feel valued for the effort they put in. What I really like is how easy it is to acknowledge someone's work in real time. Whether it's going the extra mile, helping the team meet deadlines, or consistently delivering quality work, Kudos makes it simple to highlight those efforts. Overall, Kudos has become an important part of our workplace culture, helping us celebrate achievements and build a more engaged and supportive team. Kudos solves a very important problem of ensuring that recognition is not limited to immediate teams or managers. It also addresses the challenge of timely appreciation. Instead of waiting for formal reviews or feedback cycles, I can instantly recognize a colleague's effort, which makes the appreciation more meaningful and impactful. Another key benefit is that it promotes transparency and visibility. Kudos helps improve team morale and engagement. What I like most about Kudos is how it makes recognition consistent and not dependent on formal processes. It allows appreciation to happen naturally as part of daily work, which helps a more supportive and encouraging environment across the team. One feature I value the most in Kudos is the ability to give recognition instantly with a short message. It allows me to appreciate a colleague's effort right when it happens. The initial setup of Kudos was very straightforward and easy.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

One area where Kudos could improve is adding more customization options. Allowing users to personalize recognition messages or categories more flexibly.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps recognize colleagues' efforts across the organization, addressing the issue of unnoticed work. It allows for timely appreciation, improving team morale and engagement by offering transparency and visibility.

 ### 29. Enhances Team Recognition, Needs More Engagement Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsea R. | Customer Journey Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like Kudos for scheduling automated emails for Birthdays and Anniversaries, which saves time for our managers in recognizing their teams. I also enjoy the ability for team members to redeem points for gift cards to get items they want but perhaps can't afford. It's an easy way to make people feel appreciated. Additionally, the initial setup of Kudos was very easy, and the team was very supportive.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I wish there were features to create polls or make it easier to run contests/activations. Built-in software tools like those you see in other communication platforms would be great. Allowing teams to create polls to vote on topics and adding pictures to a shared album would be helpful.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to connect remote teams, create a positive work environment, and encourage recognition. It helps managers make teams feel appreciated with scheduled emails and lets employees redeem points for gift cards, saving time and personalizing rewards.

 ### 30. Innovative Credit Card Advisor, Room for Smoothness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavan A. | Entrepreneurial Experience, Chemicals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like how Kudos uses 'Checkout Intelligence' to not just view credit cards as point earners but also as tools that offer benefits such as Purchase Protection and Extended Warranty. This is really useful when it detects a high-value item in my cart. Another aspect I appreciate is Kudos' ability to take a complex credit card benefits guide and translate it into a quick alert. It's incredibly helpful to have that information about hidden card benefits like 'Return Protection' appear right when I'm making a purchase. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

While Kudos is a powerful tool for maximizing rewards, it isn't perfect. From an analytical perspective—and based on common user feedback in 2026—there are a few areas where the experience can feel a bit 'clunky' or could use some fine-tuning. There's the issue of 'Bank API Silos'. In the U.S., tools like Kudos use 'Open Banking' aggregators (like Plaid) to securely 'read' your card benefits and balances. The problem arises with many international banks that have stricter 'walled gardens' or different API standards. If the tool can't automatically pull your specific card's terms, you are forced to enter them manually. This turns an 'automated AI assistant' back into a 'manual spreadsheet,' which is a clunky experience.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to see my credit cards as insurance tools, not just point earners. It gives quick alerts on card benefits at checkout, helping me make smarter, insured purchases.

 ### 31. Kudos - Why isn't every organization using this platform???

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paula C. | Supervisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

The most valuable asset any organization has, is it's staff. Kudos is a very easy to use platform that helps me to recognize the members of my team and others.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

There are no down side to using Kudos, however I would like to see leadership be able to use the endorsement feature with more than the 1 point. I propose that leadership be able to endorse with 5 or 10 points. 5 points requiring nothing, and 10 requiring the leader to make an additional comment.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos makes it easier for me to acknowledge people outside my department. This way, I don't have to look up their immediate supervisor, tell my story to them and just hope that they share it with the employee. Plus, I have the opportunity to recognize them publicly or privately, which really matters to some people. Thank you!

 ### 32. Effortless Employee Recognition with Fun Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** bob d. | Service advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I find Kudos to be an easy-to-use employee recognition tool that I use to highlight strong performance across the team in real time. I enjoy being able to recognize my fellow employees. I also like the buttons I get to press and the Memes. The initial setup was really easy as it was done for me.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

nothing

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos is an easy-to-use tool for highlighting strong team performance in real time. I enjoy recognizing my fellow employees with the buttons and memes it offers. Everything works as it should.

 ### 33. Easy Recognition with Fun Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elmira H. | property manager/realtor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I really like using Kudos to give positive reviews to my team members at my brokerage. It's an easy and fun way to touch base, thanks to the built-in emojis and descriptions. I particularly enjoy using the smiles and laugh emojis. Setting up Kudos was easy, and it effectively lets my teammates know that I acknowledge their efforts. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I don't like being restricted in the ability to give more points to certain people.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to let teammates know I acknowledge their efforts. It's an easy and fun way to touch base.

 ### 34. Fun, Easy Recognition Platform with Flexible Gift Card Redemptions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda W. | Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It's fun and easy for staff to use. I LOVE how you can see all of the amazing things folks are doing for members and other employees around the company. The variety of options for gift card redemption ensure everyone can get something they like. One of the best decisions our company ever made. Another cool feature is creating admin accounts for special recognitions like high survey scores and catching fraud.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

What i disliked is being fixed with the upcoming changes! Things like getting rid of the "canned" recognitions and being able to see how my points you have to give and earned on the home page... good stuff. Just waiting on the ADP single sign on before we update ours...

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR loved that they could stop buying and tracking physical gift cards and use the system instead. AND that we can budget for the upcoming year. Accounting LOVES that...

 ### 35. Empowers Team Recognition, Needs UI Tweaks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maddy S. | Sales Development Representative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like the fact that you can recognize other employees, share gifts, and share fun messages and points. Kudos really provides the motivation and recognition that we need to be successful, striving to be better employees, and contributing to the organization. I think it contributes so much to the culture, which is super important to me in any organization. I also appreciate how easy it was to set up as a user.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I think the user interface could be improved. It's kind of annoying to have to toggle through several pages to get to, like, the KUDO store or just to see your points. I definitely think the main screen could be improved.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to recognize colleagues and show appreciation for their hard work, which boosts our team and organization culture, motivates us to grow as SDRs and strive to be better employees.

 ### 36. Empowers Employee Recognition, Needs Streamlined Point Allocation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alloch B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos to recognize employees and see how they're being recognized by colleagues across different departments. I like that my staff enjoys this recognition system. It serves as a great staff satisfier because employees know that managers will acknowledge their peers' efforts. I appreciate Kudos for allowing both management and employees to recognize each other. As a director, I really appreciate the dashboards that let me see which managers are giving out Kudos points and which employees are receiving them the most or the least.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I wish Kudos would let managers assign points right away when employees give recognition, instead of having to write another review. It would streamline the system and still show recognition from the management level.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps us recognize employees, fostering satisfaction by allowing management and employees to acknowledge each other. It provides a compliant and HR-approved way to reward staff, making recognition transparent across departments.

 ### 37. Fun, Easy Recognition with Great Prompts and Diverse Rewards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon B. | Mental Health Counselor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It's fun to use! There are great prompts and ways to celebrate coworker's contributions and milestones. There are more diverse rewards now which I appreciate. It's easy to learn how to use as well, there is very little training needed to use it. It integrates with our work well, and it consistently performs well even with a large company.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I haven't disliked anything about the product.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos is an affordable way to help celebrate the positives of what is going on at work. It reminds us to look for things to celebrate!

 ### 38. Empowering Team Motivation with Seamless Reward System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos to reward my team and colleagues for their hard work and dedication. I like that I can highlight and encourage employees, and I really appreciate the integration with other employees to make rewarding each other seamless. It's rewarding when I do a good job, and I can also reward team members when they work hard. I also find reviewing Kudos points helpful, and the initial setup was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

the time line is a little cluttered

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to reward my team for their hard work. It helps highlight and encourage employees, integrating well with them. I love the reviewed Kudos points and rewarding colleagues when they excel.

 ### 39. Instant, Visible Recognition That Boosts Morale with Kudos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya K. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love how Kudos makes employee recognition instant and highly visible. The platform is very easy to use, so we can celebrate team achievements smoothly and without any hassle. The points system genuinely boosts morale and helps keep everyone motivated, engaged, and truly valued every day.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The platform doesn’t offer much in the way of deep customization, and the strict point caps feel limiting. The analytics also seem fairly shallow when it comes to tracking long-term engagement. On top of that, reward redemptions are sometimes delayed, and the mobile app interface can feel a bit clunky to use.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos aims to address a common workplace problem: employee isolation and a lack of appreciation. In many environments, people’s hard work goes unnoticed or is only recognized during annual reviews, which can contribute to burnout and lower engagement over time.

 ### 40. Easy-to-Use Kudos Rewards That Strengthen Workplace Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markelle G. | Communications Content Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

The Kudos platform is a great way for employees to acknowledge each other's hard work while also offering rewards that are impactful and useful to the employee. Redeeming points at the end of the year feels like an extra holiday bonus or gift. The system is easy to use and contributes to a better workplace culture, especially in a hybrid work environment.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I do wish the points you give out carried over into the following month. Sometimes time gets away from you and you don't always remember to give out all your points. And it can be hard when you end up with just a few points leftover but wish you could give a colleague more.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me offer praise and encouragement to my colleagues in a way that seems more personal and impactful than a simple Teams message or email. Because I work with a lot of people I don't see in an office every day, it feels good to be able to show that kind of recognition and make connections.

 ### 41. Easy, Values-Based Recognition That Strengthens Engagement and Morale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nirushka Singh M. | Global Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

What I like most about Kudos is the culture of recognition and appreciation it fosters. The platform makes it easy to acknowledge contributions in a meaningful and timely way, which helps strengthen engagement, collaboration, and morale across teams. I also value how Kudos aligns recognition with company values, reinforcing the behaviours that truly drive performance and a positive workplace culture.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

While Kudos is a strong recognition platform, one area for improvement could be ensuring recognition feels consistently meaningful rather than transactional. As with any rewards system, there’s a risk that frequent or generic recognition can lose impact over time. Continuing to encourage specific, values-based recognition and educating users on best practices would help maintain authenticity and long-term engagement.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos addresses the challenge of inconsistent and often overlooked employee recognition by providing a structured, visible, and values-driven way to appreciate contributions. By making recognition easy and accessible, it helps reinforce positive behaviours, improve engagement, and strengthen team connection—especially in hybrid or distributed environments. For me, this results in higher motivation, a stronger sense of belonging, and better alignment with what the organisation values and rewards.

 ### 42. Fosters Team Unity with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abeer K. | Freelance Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like how easy Kudos is to access. It's got such an easy structure that makes it simple to send a kudos, and I appreciate the options for making it private or public. It's a very social and beautiful place where we can see who is performing well and interact with the team. I also find it very easy to set up and get started with Kudos since everything is nicely lined up and divided into easy sections. It's just a great platform overall.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

There is nothing specific that I don't like; it's an easy and very structured platform. And it serves its purpose well.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos brings the team together, making our connections stronger. It's a good medium to show appreciation and reward hard work, encouraging everyone to work harder. It fosters team interaction in a social place where achievements are visible.

 ### 43. Easy, Intuitive Recognition with AI-Refined Messages and Rewards

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

On this platform, you can congratulate and motivate people by sending AI-refined messages and attaching a reward that can be exchanged for real money or other items adding more value to the message. You can also share these notes on other social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, which is a nice extra and helps spread the love even further.
It's very easy to use, reliable, quite intuitive and people barely need any further costumer support to use it, but they are very helpful when needed. Nice price/value exchange.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

There's really nothing to deslike about it

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to acknowledge the work the team makes in a different way that they appreciate a bit more than just words.

 ### 44. Effortless Appreciation with Kudos

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos to appreciate the great work my colleagues are doing at my workplace. I like the simple user interface of Kudos. The simple user interface makes my work hassle-free. Also, the options to encash Kudos points are really vibrant, providing me with a variety of coupons to enjoy my Kudos points. Additionally, the initial setup of Kudos was pretty easy and not much of a hassle.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I feel the number of Kudos points given to each member can be increased from the current 80 to maybe 150.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to meaningfully appreciate my colleagues, and its simple user interface makes my work hassle-free. The variety of encashing options for Kudos points, like vibrant coupons, is really enjoyable.

 ### 45. Effortlessly Recognize Team Members, Needs AI Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shridhar b. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I find Kudos very easy, simple, and quick to use. It's really helpful for quickly recognizing my team members, so I don't have to wait for other means of organizing. The initial setup was very easy too, as we just log in once after registration and then logging in is seamless. I just click, and it launches.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

Could be improved. Yeah. Maybe if the kudos can help us with some pre-texts about the recognition that might help. Otherwise, nowadays, we are using AI tools to write the text. If Kudos can put in some draft text, it will be a fill.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to quickly appreciate and recognize my team members' work without having to wait for other means.

 ### 46. An Effective and Easy-to-Use Recognition Platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Winzor José F. | Encargado Regional Tecnologia de Informacion y Comunicacion, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos is an excellent recognition tool that enhances employee engagement and accountability. I like how recognitions become effective through redemptions that allow monetizing that recognition, adding value to collaboration and gratitude. Additionally, the platform is excellent for recognitions. I love the ease with which you can redeem Kudos, as it is not limited to a single card company and has a global reach. The initial setup of Kudos was intuitive and simple, taking less than a minute.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

For Latin America, you must open more commercial stores. Get in touch with different local businesses in Latin America and not only with those that have a global presence.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to bring people closer and materialize recognitions, improve engagement and accountability through effective redemption.

 ### 47. Elevates Team Morale with Meaningful Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angélique S. | (J-1) Visa Specialist (ARO), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love being able to award points each month in a way that benefits my colleagues monetarily and allows me to acknowledge special qualities. It's helpful to use word tags to highlight qualities in my colleagues that made a difference to me. Kudos helps maintain morale, especially during peak seasons.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I wish I could pick different point classes (Thank You, Impressive etc.) for people on the same Kudos compliment. Sometimes, several people helped me on a project, but with varying degrees of involvement.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos for recognizing team contributions, boosting morale during peak seasons, and awarding monthly points that benefit monetarily. I appreciate using word tags to highlight special qualities, which helps me acknowledge impactful colleagues.

 ### 48. Company-Wide Kudos That Make Everyone Feel Valued

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zinzi S. | Team lead, Talent Coordinator and Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I really like that it enables me to make someone feel special and recognised for something they did. It also makes me feel valued when I receive Kudos. I especially appreciate that the whole company can see what people value and recognise in each other.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

It’s a shame that you can’t save any unused kudos past the end of the month. If you’re OOO at month-end and still have kudos left to give, you essentially “lose” the chance to send those kudos for that particular month.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it helps bring the team closer. It’s especially useful when I’m hosting a meeting and want to start with an icebreaker. For example, I can offer kudos to the first person who gives the correct answer. In my experience, this is a good way to draw attention to the meeting and encourage more people to participate and stay engaged.

 ### 49. Easy, Friendly, and Effective in Recognition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalia B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It is very helpful for me to be able to recognize the collaboration of colleagues from other teams, such as in a testing or focus group. I like how the work can be recognized publicly and not just symbolically. I find it very easy to use and it has a friendly look and feel. The function of tagging supervisors is very useful to me, as it makes the recognition have more impact in the feed, which could even trigger a reward from the recognized colleague's boss. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy thanks to the direct login with the company's account.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

In Argentina, there aren't many companies for rewards. And you might have a lot of Kudos, but monetarily it's very little money.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to recognize colleagues' collaboration, allowing for public and visible recognition that can bring real benefits. I like to mention the supervisors of the recognized people, as it amplifies the impact of the recognition.

 ### 50. Great for Recognition, Challenges with Navigation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** j m. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I genuinely enjoy using Kudos and think it's a great program overall. One of the biggest things I like about it is how well it works across departments, making it easy to recognize people you don't necessarily work with every day. It's important because so much good work happens behind the scenes, and it's nice to be able to call out someone's effort and know it will be seen and appreciated by others as well. Kudos is great for celebrating wins big or small. Whether it's finishing a project, helping out at a busy time, or just going above and beyond, the platform gives people the space to say thank you in a meaningful way. Seeing those recognitions pop up is genuinely uplifting and helps keep morale high. It creates a positive ripple effect where people feel valued and more motivated to support one another. I feel it gives me an easy public platform for thanking those who go above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I feel the site can be a bit cumbersome to navigate and the prizes to redeem are difficult to find. It took a while to learn, and the initial employee buy-in was small.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I enjoy using Kudos for recognizing people across departments, celebrating big or small wins, and publicly thanking those who go above and beyond. It uplifts morale, creates a positive ripple effect, and makes everyone feel valued.
