Pros:
1. Kubuntu is an official flavour of Ubuntu but uses the KDE Plasma Desktop instead of the GNOME desktop environment. Some people like the simplicity of the KDE and and some find it unintuitive.
2. As it is part of the Ubuntu project, it uses the same underlying systems. It is robust.
