What do you like best about Koyeb?

The Developer Experience on Koyeb is just amazing! I love using it, everything just works! 🙌

It's really a nice platform to use and as a developer it's my go to! Instead of having to struggle with AWS for example, I can just use Koyeb and deploy my AI apps in different parts of the world.

Also, the CLI is really nice and actually useful! It's so easy to read the logs for example when you make a mistake in your app!

Did I also talk about how pretty it is?! I love the design! 💙

The team is also very responsive if you are wondering how to do something with Koyeb! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

Not much I'd say, but I am gonna continue writing as it's mandatory 😅 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Koyeb?

I love the developer experience using Koyeb. Typically software engineers don't get much experience to work with cloud / deployment platforms. Tools like AWS/Vercel can be very daunting to use initially. But what sets Koyeb apart is the fact that the ease of use and the incredible developer documentation makes it super super intuitive to use. And the additions of GPUs to be able to deploy LLMs with support for vLLM makes Koyeb one of the most exclusive deployment options. All devtools are always driven by good support and good docs. And Koyeb really shines in both these aspects. So huge kudos to the team for not only building a stellar product, but ensuring that the amazing community and the docs well support the product. It is also super easy to implement deployments with Koyeb thanks to the stellar UI and self guided experience using the tool/ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

I will be frank, I don't dislike anything. The user experience, and the UI both are great. I guess the only comment will be - in certain parts of the UI there might be a couple of words which might not be immediately understandable for example when creating a new VM instance. So those can be explained by having a small hover over the word to explain the meaning of that technical term. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

(Original )Information
What do you like best about Koyeb?

In minutes, I went from a prototype on my laptop to a usable demo deployed in different regions (US East, Europe in my case).

Redeploys are super fast (GitHub integration is flawless).

DNS integrations and SSL are great, combined with CloudFlare.

There's an appropriate level of customization.

The UX is great: WebUI to try stuff, CLI to manage on my laptop, Terraform for final deployments.

Edit: their service mesh is also working really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

I didn't understand at first that the free "hobby" plan didn't include the possibility to map domains and SSL stuff, and that the "starter" plan was also free, but with the domains and SSL.

Terraform documentation can be improved (if we compare the experience wirth the WebUI which is really great) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Koyeb?

Koyeb is a breath of fresh air in the platform as a service industry. While other PaaS has their offering exorbitantly priced, Koyeb is priced failrly and provides a great value for money. Their compute to price ratio is best in the industry, making them a no brainer platform of choice.

Moreover, they have plenty of other great features to make working with infrastructure a breeze. Lastly, the team behind Koyeb is also amazing with ready to help attitude. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

I was a little confused with their UI at the time I started, however, they are already in the process to replace it with a new improved design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Koyeb?

Their SaaS / IaaS offering provides a sleek and aggregated UX for users to orchestrate the services from your code commit super easily ( and thus gives best of the both worlds of fully serverless platforms like vercel but also providing the scalablity with possiblity to scale the compute / storage and network bandwidth's in real time , provisioning the architecture and following the deployment logs on the fly.

Also the support staff was in touch on slack channels and helped with troubleshooting session.

I will really recommend for startup teams who want to avoid the excessive cost of hiring the devops or paying elevated bills of cloud resources or migrating app efficiently to use koyeb. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

Only that you need to take some time to read their well written docs / understand usage of their CLI along with checking out the template examples in their github repo's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Koyeb?

We can deploy our docker container on multiple regions super easily.

They are continuously improving their solution with all our feedbacks

There is a light mode :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

The project is still relatively recent; I wish there were more regions to deploy our apps and more features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Koyeb?

If you need a running server, with the scalability benefits of serverless architectures and the great DX of the modern cloud platforms, Koyeb is your choice.

We decided to adopt it to deploy our Nuxt application when we switched to SSR. The onboarding and the getting used to with the platform was super easy and the team super friendly. But we got more amazed when we realized the value per cost that it provides, their pricing options are great.

It's really cool seeing startups building their own stack on top of bare metal servers and doing it in the open and sharing it as the Koyeb team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

Not having native preview deployments (I know it's in the roadmap) force us to build our own solution that's not as optimized, and it takes longer deployment times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Koyeb?

It was really easy to spin up an API service. I spent hours doing devops work in AWS, and then did the same thing in Koyeb in 10 minutes.

Their Slack community is very active and they respond quickly.

Also, the UI is intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

Nothing so far. It's not as feature rich as e.g. AWS or Azure, but instead is much simpler to use, which is a plus for my use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Koyeb?

Koyeb allowed me to deploy my product in a few minutes with 0 downtimes.

The UI/UX is clear, you don't need to have advanced knowledges in DevOps to do anything.

Customer support is excellent, I have direct access to the CPO & CTO for any question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

I didn't see any huge downside, maybe it could offer more databases (only postgresql is available I think). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Koyeb?

Koyeb is an astonishingly easy to use serverless platform that delivers outstanding performance and flexibility for running cloud-based applications. For both side projects and business critical operations, I've found Koyeb to be a robust solution that scales seamlessly along with your needs.

The integration with Github and first-class Docker support stands out from the crowd - deploying code changes or new containers takes just minutes, unlike the headaches I've dealt with using other platforms. And the compute instances are shockingly fast, feeling even more responsive than dedicated boxes from other providers.

But Koyeb's technical capabilities are only half the story. Their team goes above and beyond to help users troubleshoot any issues and provide guidance. Whether it was assisting with diagnosing a dependency problem I ran into or providing advice on optimizing architecture designs, they've always been courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to interact with.

The pricing model is also refreshing - it's pay for what you use, reasonable and has none of the nasty surprises or gotchas I've seen elsewhere. That gives developers complete freedom to experiment without worry. And you can tell the Koyeb team pours genuine care into crafting their platform - the user experience is polished end-to-end.

For any developer needing a "no ops" serverless platform, I can't give a strong enough recommendation to give Koyeb a try. They've delivered an outstanding product that both performs admirably and saves precious time compared to alternatives. Koyeb is now my go-to for deploying personal projects and I eagerly look forward to using them for many years to come as I scale my applications up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyeb?

They release new features and tutorials so fast I can't keep up. There's so many features I want to try that I haven't had a chance to play with. ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
