Kong is a highpowered and highly customizeable Nginx service which has been given a lot of attention when it was being created. Kong has some of the best documentation of any application I've ever deployed. Kong also offers lots of options when it comes to configuration, setting up configurations is super easily with the provided DecK tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kong is just an application designed to get you to pay for the advanced featues. Authentication plugins should not be a paid for premium feature and should be available for all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how Envoy and Kuma, two open-source projects that are widely used in the service mesh industry, are included in Kong Mesh. For Kubernetes and VMs in any cloud or environment, Kong Mesh offers corporate functionality and support. Additionally, Kong Enterprise interacts seamlessly with it, providing a full-stack connection platform for all of my services and APIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much wrong with Kong Mesh, but I'd like to see more tutorials and instructions on how to use it well in various situations and use cases. The GUI interface, in my opinion, could benefit from more customization and filtering choices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
