What do you like best about Kong Konnect?

Its very easy to configure. plenty of option available to run the data planes right from VMs to EKS etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kong Konnect?

Nothing to dislike so far. its a new product and takes away a lot of complexies from on-prem Kong mesh/gateway platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kong Konnect solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Kong konnect for API Management. It very easy chose from a large number of ootb policies to protect and govern our APIs.

Kong's Enterprise API Gateway allowed us to deliver a high performance, scalable and low-maintenance API management platform to serve our microservice ecosystem. It also helped reducing the time-to-market of new features and applications, thanks to internal tools we created that leverage Kong's RESTful admin API used to configure routes and upstream "as a service"." What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

Kong is a robust and stable tool that handles load without latency issues, as it is built on top of Nginx. It is also highly feature-oriented, offering thousands of plugins for various use cases. What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

The way it works and how routing is easily managed by the api. I am using the Kong API Gateway as an Ingress and a stand-alone gateway in which both setups are easy to integrate either with helm, manifests, standalone or with etcd datastore. I am not using support but usually find most of the things I need in the docs or forums.

What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

It can handle large number of Transactions per second which makes it suitable for high throughput requirement applications.

Since it's built on nginx it can be disturbed achieving horizontal scaling is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Even though it's powerful, Kong can be complex for initial setup specially for users who lack infra knowledge or API gateways knowledge Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kong API Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?

In IDFC our infra is baed on Mule where gateway is embeded with runtime. So, IDFC is paying high price even for proxy which doesn't require emebeded runtime. What do you like best about Kong Insomnia?

Simple to use for the Fresher and learn about Rest APIs

Some times Postman is confusing while using for Pre Test and Tests No extra steps or confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kong Insomnia?

We cannot create Automation suite or write tests like we can do it on Postman.

Websocket support is not available.

Mocking is also not allowed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kong Insomnia solving and how is that benefiting you?

I manual testing the API using Kong.

Unlike Postman, I don't have to register the my self to use the functionalities.

All the API Json suites created in the Postman can be imported in Insomainia Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
