What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

In my opinion, Kong API Gateway is a great choice because of its lightweight nature, also it's ease of installation, and ease of use even for beginners. Moreover, it has an intuitive user interface that is sleek and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kong API Gateway?

The Kong API can be expensive for smaller teams, but apart from that, I cannot think of anything I dislike about Kong API. It's great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monitors API requests, manages API requests, and due to being lightweight, it saves a lot of space along with the time. Also, it's additional functionality to APIs and services puglins helps alot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

Kafka API Gateway is full of security and scalability features which were the main reasons we moved to Kong API Gateway. It is cheaper as well compared to Google API GEE and other API Gateway offerings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kong API Gateway?

Kafka API Gateway needs further simplification. Also resource material needs to be improved. There are not many courses available which can be referred by learner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is solving security requirements and allows me to add custom authentication which is difficult with other API gateway. Also, scalability is another advantage of Kong API Gateway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

I like Kong as an API Managemnt tool because I am using for almost 2 years. It is well structured and there are so many plugins which we can use and play with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kong API Gateway?

There us nothing which I dont like about Kong. However the plugins documentation can be improved or It would be good if there is an example using kong Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kong API Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have everything in one place. It is well serialized. Services -> Routes -> Plugins -> Consumers. At the same time we can multiple plugins and the Kong dashoboard is not so complex. Anyone can be habitual of using Kong in few minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

I love Kong API Gateway because it's very lightweight, very easy to install in different platform and even beginners can also find easy to learn and use, fantastic tool for API development and management like Postman etc. and it's user friendly UI experience. Obviously in every projects there are more apis, sometimes I feel like difficulty in complexity, and also add more details to documents, other than that i didn't observed any other downside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
