Kong can scale to the developer and user needs as applications grow. Although a bit of a learning curve can be expected, this outweighs the benefits of a flexible API solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kong has a learning curve if you are not familiar with API management and solutions. Also the use of Lua for plugin integration could be improved upon by provided developers the programming language of choice, such as Go or Javascript. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
