What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

Kong API Gateway is excellent for docker-based microservices. I used it quite a time and was very impressed by it. It is easy to use and it is super fast in terms of performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kong API Gateway?

But API aggregation is lacking as we have to implement the extra layer to get that. The extra layer may be microservice and serverless , but no build-in support is there Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kong API Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I mostly use microservices (docker containers), so kong is a really good option as an API Gateway. it's support for docker is really good and easy. that is why I use cong for projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kong API Gateway?

Kong API Gateway is very simple to use. Plenty of quality documentation and community forums online are available to help me learn. The product is constantly evolving and improving. The Kong team has been accommodating and they truly want their customers to succeed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kong API Gateway?

There is not much to dislike about Kong. Occasionally we found features we needed that were not available at first. We raised feature requests which made to the backlog. Many of these requests were fulfilled in the upcoming releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kong API Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?

Kong API Gateway allows APIs used across the organisation to be managed through a single platform. This platform promotes consistency and increases our security posture immensely.

What do you like best about Kong Insomnia?

I used insomnia last 2 years and I love to use this tool as a rest API test and call API. I can easily and quickly send REST, and SOAP requests within these tools. UI of this tool is built as an easy to understand what I have to do next. I get what is expected from the API tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kong Insomnia?

The dislike part about insomnia is this tool is used by some software developers only. Several times I had to send another tool proof to my client as they did not use insomnia. The community is small and taking time to get the answer from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kong Insomnia solving and how is that benefiting you?

Insomnia solves the problem of sending the API call and providing a good and understandable response from the API also I used insomnia last 2 years and I really enjoy with this tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
