What do you like best about Kombo?

Their platform integrates deeply with all major HR and ATS tools used by EU companies, which was crucial for us as a European compliance automation leader (SOC 2, ISO 27001). Backend implementation took about two weeks, and using their common model was enough. They’re constantly expanding support for more European systems, making them an ideal fit. The single API, common data model, and customizable integrations make setup and scaling seamless. Key features like detailed logs, tool scoping, and multi-language support address major challenges in the European market. Plus, their support is top-notch—fast, responsive on Slack, and always proactive.

From my experience, I’d recommend designing the backend properly and fully leveraging the common model—don’t rush into custom integrations (remote API data) too soon. Last year, we did a quick, hacky implementation with a similar tool, and going too deep too fast made expanding to other tools challenging. Remember, every API has its limits. What do you dislike about Kombo?

Kombo provides us a common HR model as one single API so we don't have to built integrations in every tool. I remember when we were building every integration ourself, there are so many error cases and the maintenance was super painful. Kombo takes care of this for us. What do you like best about Kombo?

Kombo is definitely the go-to platform for HRIS integration. It took us only a few weeks to set-up the integration and offer access to most of the HRIS of the market. The user interface is super efficient and allow customers to connect their system in full autonomy including filtering on scopes and groups. What do you like best about Kombo?

It's great to have an easy-to-use, self-service UI within our app for customers to connect their HRIS to Teamspective. We avoid weeks of development work thanks to Kombo's ready-to-use integrations. What do you like best about Kombo?

We run a specialized job board and Kombo offers a great way for us to easily offer ATS connections for our clients. Without Kombo it would be impossible for our small team to build all the different integrations ourselves. We just finished setting up and onboarding the first clients. We got there really fast and without any big issues. Support from the Kombo side has been very quick and helpful as well. So overall we're really excited about the value Kombo is bringing us! What do you like best about Kombo?

We’ve been using Kombo to seamlessly integrate our ATS with external ATS systems, and the experience has been excellent. Kombo has not only streamlined our data syncing processes, making it effortless to keep candidate and job information up-to-date across platforms, but it has also opened a new market for us by enabling integration with a broader range of hiring platforms. What do you like best about Kombo?

I first came to use Kombo after looking to transition away from a major competitor platform and the difference was like night and day. Kombo's unified ATS APIs are comprehensive, the user onboarding process incredibly streamlined, and the customer support that the entire organisation – both executive and technical – delivers is responsive, timely and very human. No matter what the query or feature request, they will give it consideration and take the time to engage in a dialog; most unlike many other similar SaaS companies!

What do you dislike about Kombo?

There is very little to dislike about Kombo specifically.

In general SaaS platforms of this nature can sometimes result in unexpectedly high scaling costs depending on use-case, but in this respect I would say that Kombo are currently very competitive, and also – crucially – willing to enter into constructive conversations around helping customers to ensure costs scale as expected. My advice to prospective Kombo users in this respect would be to plan budget from the start and keep open lines of communication with Kombo around expectations. What do you like best about Kombo?

Integrations are essential to our SaaS business - without them, customers would be inclined to choose other tools that integrate with their recruitment process more seamlessly. As a result, we embarked on a journey of developing native integrations with our most common ATS's.

Unsurprisingly, this was a costly process and became time consuming to maintain.

By working with Kombo, we have one integration that supports all our ATS needs. It removed all of the headache, maintenance and cost from integrating with systems.

The Kombo team have repeatedly gone above and beyond with adding new integrations, supporting with troubleshooting, and adding useful new features - they are a pleasure to deal with and almost feel like an extension of our engineering team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kombo?

Our team integrated with multiple HRIS in no time. The experience was very developer friendly and enhanced with a great, personal customer success. We were up and running in legitly a week and continued to have a great relationship with the team to hit similar goals. A big plus is also the very profesional, well documented data processesing agreements you have, so compliance in more regulated environments do not become a big blocker.
