What do you like best about Kombo?

We’ve been using Kombo to seamlessly integrate our ATS with external ATS systems, and the experience has been excellent. Kombo has not only streamlined our data syncing processes, making it effortless to keep candidate and job information up-to-date across platforms, but it has also opened a new market for us by enabling integration with a broader range of hiring platforms. The setup was straightforward, and the support team has been very responsive whenever we needed guidance. Kombo’s solution has greatly improved our operational efficiency, allowing us to focus more on strategic tasks rather than manual data management.

What do you like best about Kombo?

Kombo has been extremely valuable in helping us rapidly deploy numerous client integrations, saving us significant internal development work and eliminating the need for error-prone Excel file handling. What do you dislike about Kombo?

There's very little to dislike about Kombo. The only potential improvements we can suggest would be expanding their HRIS coverage and possibly including integrations with performance management systems. We'd love to see these additions in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kombo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Kombo solves several critical challenges we faced with HRIS integrations in our daily operations. Before Kombo, we would have needed to build and maintain individual integrations with each HRIS our clients use (like Workday, BambooHR, Personio, etc.), which would have been extremely time-consuming and resource-intensive. Instead, Kombo provides us with a single, unified API that handles all these connections seamlessly.

One of the biggest advantages is how Kombo standardizes data from different HRIS systems into a consistent format. This eliminates what used to be a manual process involving Excel files, which was not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. The automation and standardization have significantly improved our data quality and reliability.

The maintenance aspect is another crucial benefit. Rather than having to constantly monitor and update multiple HRIS integrations whenever APIs change, Kombo manages all of this for us. This allows our development team to focus on our core product instead of getting bogged down with integration maintenance.

As a result, we've seen dramatic improvements in our ability to onboard new clients quickly, regardless of their HRIS. The time and resources we save translate directly into cost efficiency and better service for our clients. What do you like best about Kombo?

Kombo has enabled us to integrate with the majority of HRIS, ATS and Payroll systems on the market with just one implementation. Our implementation was up and running in just a few days, thanks to the great documentation and OpenAPI schema.

Whenever our customers have additional attributes that are not covered by the unified API, Kombo makes it easy to extend their data model with their "custom fields" feature.

What do you dislike about Kombo?

As the unified API does not cover all the details we require from ATS, we still have some minor implementation efforts for integrating new systems. As an analytics platform, we integrate with multiple HR systems per customer to provide deep analyses. What do you like best about Kombo?

At Linestep.com, we needed a seamless way to integrate our clients' ATS systems with our own. After evaluating several providers, we chose Kombo, and it's been a decision we've never regretted.

One of the standout aspects of integrating Kombo was the exceptional collaboration with their team during the implementation process. The support we received was outstanding from the initial contact through the entire implementation journey. They went above and beyond, helping us effectively communicate the value of Kombo's unified API and integrations to our clients. This level of partnership and assistance is truly unique in my experience working with third-party providers in the ATS integration space.

Another aspect I really appreciate is Kombo's extensive integration capabilities with a wide range of ATS systems. They're very proactive in offering assistance if we need any special customizations, for instance, if a client has specific requirements. So I believe you can count on Kombo to ensure proper integration as long as the ATS provider supplies the necessary API.

What do you like best about Kombo?

As the leading European access and SaaS management solution, finding an HRIS API that prioritized GDPR compliance was essential. Kombo delivers this with ease. Its single, unified HR model simplifies complex integrations, allowing us to offer automated onboarding & offboarding processes across many different systems, which is incredibly valuable for our customers.

The responsive support team (available via Slack) has been very helpful. Also they worked closely with us to build an Okta integration so that it can act as an HRIS. What do you dislike about Kombo?

Their integrations work great. Only a few special cases where differences between HRIS mappings became a problem. With their great support, we could resolve these issues quickly though.

What do you like best about Kombo?

What do you like best about Kombo?

What I like best about Kombo is their deep focus on our use case—ATS integrations—and the high level of expertise they bring to each system. They are clear subject matter experts in ATS data models and the nuances involved in each ATS’s API. Before signing on, we evaluated nearly every Unified API provider and even considered building integrations ourselves, but Kombo clearly emerged as the best option.

We now rely on Kombo for all of our ATS integrations for any client willing to connect their ATS.

Their team goes above and beyond, providing extensive support throughout implementation, new employer/connection setups, and resolving integration issues as they arise. They genuinely listen, are responsive, and are very easy to work with. Their customer support is consistently a 10/10.

Additionally, they’ve been very open to expanding their coverage, readily adding new ATS and features to enhance current integration capabilities.

Moreover, Kombo’s dashboard makes managing integrations and adding new ones simple and intuitive. It’s user-friendly enough that even our non-technical team members can use it confidently to onboard clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kombo?

There’s nothing to dislike about Kombo itself. However, the ATS market has its challenges, particularly with older ATS systems that many of our clients use, which can be tough to integrate. Kombo addresses this exact use case by enabling a smooth two-way integration with our customers’ ATS systems. With Kombo, we can read our customers’ open jobs directly from their ATS, allowing us to match and source talent effectively. Once we source candidates, Kombo facilitates sending those applications back into their ATS. What do you like best about Kombo?

As a heavy user of Kombo.dev, I can confidently say that it has been an absolute game-changer for our engineering team. What do you like best about Kombo?

Their platform has saved us a tremendous amount of time by simplifying integrations of HR systems into one easy-to-use API. What really stands out is how quickly they’re improving the platform—new features are regularly added, and every update has been incredibly helpful.

Their customer support is fantastic, especially through Slack. Whenever we have questions or run into issues, they respond quickly and always have the right solution. It's clear that Kombo values feedback; we've seen them respond to our input and deliver updates that meet our needs.

Reliability has been rock-solid, and the only minor challenge is that not all HR systems provide the same data, but this can be handled with custom fields, making it a non-issue.

What do you like best about Kombo?

Kombo’s unified API is a delight to work with. We integrated it once and instantly gained access to hundred of HRIS & ATS systems. The deep out-of-the-box integration saved our team months of development work and reduced our need to understand each different system. The centralized dashboard provides real-time status updates, and the webhooks and custom field features allow us to quickly adapt to our customers' needs. What do you like best about Kombo?

We went through a very thorough procurement process - speaking to all major providers in the space. Kombo came out on top and we decided to migrate from another provider we had been using previously.

Kombo allows us to read/write data in HR software, without us having to build and maintain >50 individual API integrations. Instead we build a single integration to Kombo. These integrations fuel a core part of our product - which serves >1,100 SMB to Enterprise technology companies in the US and Europe. The key criteria for us were

- Coverage of integrations (wider = better)

- Customisation for Enterprise (we have many Enterprise clients and need our product to be able to support their requirements)
