PhishER is a great piece that allows us to remediate true phishing emails that have been submitted through the KnowBe4 system.

The phishing templates are great as well and it is easy to use.

I wish the user provisioning was a little easier to troubleshoot and update. Ours currently pulls from local Active Directory. Maybe it seems more difficult because we rarely modify it, but it would be helpful to have an easier method of configuring this - like an app with a GUI.

It is helping our end users identify and report suspicious emails. It is also helping us determine malicious emails and shut them down before damage is done.

It also creates awareness for the end user of how easily and often they are falling for phishing emails.

KnowBe4 has the ability to train all my users at whatever skill level they are at. From my most basic beginners to my very IT-knowledgeable users.

Sometimes the videos can be formulaic without actually sharing new information.

Primarily, it is used for educating my entire organization about the bad players out there and their tactics (from phishing emails to social engineering).

Users find it fun and informative and enjoy becoming a part of our security posture. It strengthens security as an organization when the most vulnerable segment is well informed and actively hunting threats as well.

On the security side of the house in IT we may just have too much extra time on our hands 🙂

It absolutely eliminates the problems all IT departments have with trying to educate end users. It arms them with the same information we have and even exposes them to realistic threats and scenarios which helps them and often even us to realize what we should be looking for. It creates a pillar of strength at the core of our organization and helps to create an overall security-focal mindset.

It trains the end users on what emails they should watch out for.

Our company doesn't enforce it as a policy that needs to be completed.

It is a great tool for teaching staff about ways scammers can phish you via email. My favorite feature is the integration with outlook to allow you to report phishing emails.

My least favorite part of KnowBe4's interface is their admin portal as it is not as intuitive as I would like it to be and can be rather difficult to find some things.

It has been a wonderful resource for educating the staff on emerging cybersecurity threats and it does it in an easy way for the non computer user to still be able to understand.

I like that you can target specific users with industry-specific training. If there are people in finance, you can send them finance-related phishing emails.

I would like to see more training videos at lower levels of subscriptions.

I use to create phishing emails and phish our end users myself. This was more spear phishing. I also was not being phished or trained. This was a problem. Knowbe4 has given us a platform that solves all of these problems for us!

The ability to simulate reported phishes

Some of the reporting tools aren't conducive to use when wanting to show consistent clickers or wanting to show who are the persistent offenders

It is making our staff aware of the importance of our security posture and information them that they are our first line of defense

The interface is really easy to use and navigate and tracks your progress well!

The KnowBe4 web console is very easy to use. I can create and implement phishing and training campaigns in minutes which is very helpful when juggling many other tasks or projects.

The placeholders in email templates have given me some trouble but support was able to help quickly. Sometimes it is difficult to find specific reports, but that is mainly due to the fact that there are so many features.

KnowBe4has great training courses for our end users which help with their security awareness. It is also great that I can generate reports to send to the higher-ups.
