**What do you like best about Klue?**

It has a great feature, similar to an RSS feed, that pulls all the news and articles into one place associated with competitors you're tracking. Also, the interactive battlecards are great when correctly set up, meaning a curator has to input most of the SWOT data manually. The platform has the potential to provide great insights to your team as long as enough curators are educated on how to use it and get the most value from it. Really great support team at Klue, and they provide great training and resources on how to use it.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

There's lots of manual data entry and upkeep required to gain the most from the battlecards. Also, depending on how many companies you want to track will determine how much time is necessary for a curator to go through the alerts/feed every day and select the items most relevant to their team(s).

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue is nice in that it provides all your competitive research in one place/ dashboard. We have only just started the initial rollout to the org, so we are excited to see what value it will bring.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue’s battlecards, intelligence, integrations, and customer success and support team.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Klue has been great so far. There is a slight learning curve, as with most products, but Klue has a great team and resource center to quickly get your questions answered.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems: We wanted to stay on top of the competition, centralize competitive content, and win more deals. 

Benefits: constant useful market updates and quick access to relevant info.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue's functionality to pick and choose various tidbits of information about a competitor for a battlecard allows my team to create battle cards quickly and efficiently. As we grow, we'll be able to do so for more nuanced roles within our sales organization, as well as change information on the fly as new data becomes available. We've already been able to make some changes to our intelligence notes based on new information we've gained through our monitors as well, all without having to switch between multiple applications. 

It's been a breath of fresh air compared to our old tool!

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

While the monitors are immensely helpful, they are also very sensitive at the start. It's worth spending the time to fine-tune your monitors so you don't pick up unnecessary changes, but once you get there it's a great way to gain insights. 

The workflow around the feed and the digest also take some getting used to, we had our Klue rep walk us through it and it was a big help in making sense of how those features work. If you're lost, just ask them for help! They'll be happy to hop on a call and show you.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We largely use Klue as a quick reference and education cool about our various competitors within our industry. Previously, our battle cards were very long-winded and hard to read, with Klue we've been able to format that information into smaller, more snackable bits of information for our sales reps.

An unforeseen side effect to this is being able to find and correct old information much faster than we used to. Since information is presented in a cleaner battlecard, our writers are able to see mistakes or outdated info faster, rather than getting lost in copy.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Super impressed with the onboarding process where Klue is mutually invested in our successful launch.  Klue is prepared with customer teaser videos, digest templates, best-practice templates, and great help documentation!  
Boards come with 30 automated cards to get you started and provide a wealth of data.  Customizable boards, as well as multiple boards per audience for the same vendor, are amazing!  
Great integrations with productivity apps that you are already in place - Slack, Salesforce, Seismic, Email
An amazing collaborative platform that's made accessible through all mediums - making it easy to access and share intel

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

pricing can be high.  Not geared for a small business - this is designed for a medium to large-sized business.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a center of excellence for all things competitive - a system of record for competitive collateral and intelligence.  Increasing our closed deal rate against competitors and reduce churn as well.  Increase confidence and swagger among our sales team.  Manage competitive content and make sure it's available and tracked for effectiveness.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

With the battlecards, even on an inbound call, you can quickly access information and be knowledgeable of your competitor's strengths and weaknesses.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

I have had issues with the google extension, but I believe it was on my end. I updated chrome and now it works marvelously!  My only critique is it would have been helpful if it prompted me to update rather than shut down.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Klue to store intimate records and details of my competition. I work in a space with a lot of technical companies competing for business and my competition comes up in every conversation. Using Klue to quickly access my battlecards for said company helps me win deals!

Having internal support from management is crucial to adoption, which has been the most challenging part of using Klue. It's extremely important for reps to understand the value of Klue for it to be used effectively.

Klue's offerings and solutions for Competitive Intelligence and Competitive Enablement are everything we need and more. Klue's platform is powerful! From Alerts, Digests, Monitoring to Boards, Battlecards and Klue Everywhere... Klue delivers the actionable insights we need and at the speed of now. 

Klue's support, help, and partnership are everything. Their focus on adoption and training sets the above the competition. 

Klue helps me collect, curate, and deliver competitive and market intelligence across every department of every business. I can easily stay on top of the competitiion, Track and sort relevent new and dig deeper into CI. Klue boards but all the information at my fingertips.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Not a dislike per say, like any CI platform, it requires a ramp period and set up. But Klue is there all along the way to help and set ramp time expectations.

I do wish there were more templates/examples of boards from similar or adjecent businesses in our space to see how they are executing their boards and battlecards, but Klue is always adding helpful guides, blogs and webinars. And their support team is world class to help get set up and optimize.

There are so many things to love about Klue! Just a few of my favorite things: 
A central location for all competitive intel. It’s quick and easy for the sales teams to find battle cards and have the latest and greatest information at their fingertips during any deal. 
Easy peasy. As a curator, it’s so easy to update cards or build new battle cards.
The ability to track secondary and emerging competitors without affecting my budget. 
The competitive intel digest keeps everyone up to date on the market and has eliminated so many random chats and emails. 
Klue business practices. After every experience, I've said - "Wow. They are awesome." The sales process was terrific and the onboarding experience is top-notch. 
The entire Klue team is awesome.

There is nothing significant to dislike.

The entire experience with Klue has been excellent. Every interaction, from consideration to purchase to launching the solution, was amazing. I couldn’t rave about the company, people, and product enough. Klue takes care of most of the equation; the other part is on your team. Plan to have dedicated resources to put in the work to set up Klue correctly.

We manually created battle cards with documents saved in multiple locations – there was no single place or process for intel collection. With Klue we’ve created greater efficiency in competitive intel collection, and our sales teams now have up-to-date battle cards at their fingertips.

We often need information on companies that Klue has not yet included for previous clients so it takes a few days for any information to populate. Sometimes it takes a specific request of Support to manually pull information.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

I can quickly find comprehensive competitive data, whether 101 or 401 level information, that makes my job infinitely more accessible. I can easily navigate different products and competitors and not only understand the technical comparisons better but also let me gain insight into their products and solutions, whether on my laptop or mobile, any time of day or night. For example, we had some competitors announce a big launch of product and offering at their conference and not only was I able to eliminate multiple Google searches and sifting through FUD, but I was able to find the high-level information as well a direct link

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

I would like to see more alignments/subsections like information specific to verticals but more features to add than improvement! I do wish there was more high level information on startups, but that is a very tall ask and may have more to do with our internal resources at my company. Being able to possibly have a custom view with a mixture of technologies would be huge. For example, I may have a customer that is refrshing multiple types of technology at once in a sales campaign. If I could then take all three to five aspects of the complete solution for this customer and have a complete, holistic view of all competitive insight(especially if it is in direct competition to the technology we are proposing), that would be absolutely monumental

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

Think about how much time you spend researching specific information about your competition or if anything else, how much time you and your peers spend keeping up with the latest information on your competition's company as a whole, not just their products. Klue delivers that quickly and efficiently on laptop or mobile 24 hours a day with SSO integration for security.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love the proactive and reactive research for keeping me up to date with my competitors with little to no "spin" on the announcements, which allows me to stay informed and ahead of the competition! Not only can I see what is new with the competition, but I can also now link my customer's install base to exact information points found in Klue for consistency with my interaction with them no matter if we talk daily or yearly, I know that I can rely on the consistency of the platform being available, reliable and up-to-date

**What do you like best about Klue?**

How much information Klue collects and organizes. It's great to see market overview, the number of employees, and other interesting information that would otherwise be a pain to collect. We use much of the collected information, but it would be nice to have a printable report for a longer-form competitive report which includes fancy graphs in order to satisfy our more demanding users. It will be interesting to try out the new feature where Klue will track trends in Twitter, as we often see relevant news stories pop up when our competition tweets about it. We are just in the early stages of testing that feature.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The cards are too simple - it would be nice to add graphics, large tables, or links easily and not throw off the entire lane. We also are planning to enable partners with battle cards, and the permissions could use a little granularity, as we either allow everyone to access them or not. Since we usually try to have a "Jetpacks"  section with each card, it would be nice to have one "golden" card so that we don't have to change the wording on each lane for each competitor.

Take the time to think about the layout of cards and what information you will need on every competitor.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are building competitive intelligence. It forces us to publish only the most relevant, short, and helpful info rather than pages of semi-relevant stuff. We have standardized the lanes that we are using for each competitor and spend a lot of time on the Why We Win and Why We Lose sections, as well as Competitor Landmines.

It's simplicity, and ease of use are the best features of Klue. Everything is logically laid out within the interface, making it simple to compare information across different competitors.

There really is not anything you can dislike about Klue. It is a simple, yet really powerful tool for competitor analysis.
One feature that would be nice to have would be the ability to submit feedback or mark comments on the battle cards.

Mainly to speed up the new starter and oboarding process, it is the one stop place for competitor analysis. The ease of use is key in this area, for new starters.

Only as good as the info your company has. Not specifically a Klue issue, but would be great if there was somehow a way to crowdsource competitive intel via publicly available docs

The platform at first can be a bit disorganized and messy, but once you figure out how to properly flow the information it gets organized much quicker. There are also some tracking features, like website tracking, that at the moment you're not able to integrate into your existing dashboards.

Centralized competitive intel. Tracking competitive updates and announcements within the market. Revenue teams have quick, easy access to the materials they need to win deals.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue’s sales, contracting, finance, implementation, and account management staff have been amazing! They have a great customer service messaging feature in the browser that also sends email records of your conversations. Their staff are always prompt, helpful, and kind, and occasionally hilarious!

Klue is super easy to use, we haven’t had any difficulty training any new users. The help documents and support staff are also excellent. 

We really love Klue’s unlimited unpublished boards (Companies) which allow us to keep track of adjacent and upcoming competitors. The automated cards are great and the boards and battlecards are easy to configure and digest. We also love the automated feed with all its filter options, RSS support, and ability to better curate the RSS feeds we’ve crated through Google Alerts. The page monitors are interesting but a bit too noisy and difficult to curate. The Weekly Digest has been very helpful to simplify and standardize our review, analysis, and distribution of current news. 

Oh, and there’s a mobile app and browser extension!? These things are amazing, roll them out to your team. Find something interesting? Klue it. Curators see these insights and can easily add them to the Weekly Digest as-is or with revision and they link to the original URL. Important new info for the board or battlecards? Add it to the board’s scratchpad for the next time you revise that board, Klue usually knows the right board or you can tell it or correct it.

Slack integration!? Well, we’re not cool enough for Slack but Klue has it.

Salesforce integration!? Sales wants it and we’re working to get it prioritized in our Salesforce dev queue. Not because it’s hard, but it does require a company.my.salesforce.com URL so we need to do that on our side.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The most difficult part of my process with Klue was agreeing on payment terms. their maximum payment terms (net-X days) are reasonable but you should request them during your exploratory process and confirm your company will approve them. Although our Crayon rep said they could do longer terms, we'd already decided on Klue as a better fit for our needs and a substantial savings. We ended up figuring out a work-around through a virtual credit card payment process. Like many cutting-edge B2B software or SaaS solutions, Klue has some little UI bugs that they haven’t prioritized above more impactful development tasks. I agree with their prioritization and greatly appreciate their pricing and the valuable features they roll out in frequent updates.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

Ask your Treasurer for the minimum payment terms (e.g. net-30, net-45, net-90) that will be approved during the timeframe appropriate for your contracting phase. Check these with Klue and request email confirmation from their Senior Bookkeeper or higher. If your minimum terms arent compatible with their maximum terms, work with your Treasurer and Accounts Payable to figure out a workaround. Virtual credit card worked for both sides in our agreement. Be prepared to justify the need along the lines of "vetted multiple vendors, Klue is best fit for our team and lowest annual cost."

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've standardized and optimized our current news discovery and curation, created battlecards for 5 of our 10 published boards (higher tiers are available with more boards,) and completed our initial build of niche sources and RSS feeds.  We in marketing have buy-in from leadership and sales, just working through internal processes for Salesforce integration and sales team onboarding.

Jess Maloney and her team are one of the core reasons for our team's success and referral for the product! They truly care about identifying ways to build the best product and service while empowering our team to gain the most impact using Klue.

Klue's slack integration supports our efforts of enabling sales, product, and customer success teams become curators of comp intel data. This workflow is very powerful and has been readily adopted by our salesforce. The usage dashboards are also a great benefit.

More data brings more time needed with a lean team. It would be great to have a dedicated competitive intelligence resources to sift through comp intel data and update our battlecards in real-time. Product wise, there is some time needed to understand how to use the boards, dynamic cards and overall user interface. Klue does provide a lot of knowledge base documentation to help with this transition.

Occasionally the formating of content within cards can be cumbersome. Once you understand some of the formating workarounds, it's an easy solution to use.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

I've only been using Klue for a couple months but so far, the things I like most about Klue are: 

- The ability to customize alerts for easy competitive monitoring - we used to use google alerts and would get 100s of alerts a day. Love that I can customize words to not include and that the tool gets to know the type of news we like overtime.

- Being able to track emerging competitors without using a live board - this gives us more flexibility with how we use our 10 boards

- The competitive intel digest - the company was stoked about this! 

- The Slack add on - makes it super easy to share insights with Klue whenever someone drops in a relevant article or other nuggets of competitive data

- The whole Klue team - the CSM team was great at helping to get the product up & running and my sales experience was stellar

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

So far, overall I really like Klue. There are a few things that I've noticed while using it which are:

- It would be nice if there was a bit more flexibility on building the boards - like drag & drop lanes/cards, more text customization, as well as the ability to build tables within the cards a bit easier. 

- Another thing I noticed is that when I shared a picture via slack, the image doesn't drop into the feed - instead it links back to the Slack message. This means when I open the feed, it takes me back to the message where they I have to copy/paste the image. Would be nice if this happened automatically!

- Would love to see a more intuitive (less HTML) intel digest builder. Something similar to just a regular word or google doc where I can build it out without having to constantly check if I coded something in correctly.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the product continues to develop and what they come out with next.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our market is becoming more saturated with competitors and being a global business with a lean team, it can be challenging to keep the field up to date with competitive insights. Klue enables us to stay on top of emerging threats - we are tracking over 35 competitors so far - and provides a consolidated spot to host competitive info. 

Before our team had competitive insights in lots of different places - which can be frustrating for the field team. When you're on the phone with a prospect, you want to be able to quickly search for and have the information you need immediately. 

Another benefit of having this tool is that it enables the entire company to submit competitive insights easily and provides a consistent way to stay up to date with competitive news. 

The CSM at Klue (Dani - she has been amazing) is helping us track usage and I'm looking forward to seeing some quantitative results from using the tool after a few months. So far all the feedback from our sales team has been positive.

What really caught my attention were the battle cards that Klue had to offer. Having battle cards that are always up-to-date and in a format that is extremely user-friendly is exactly what we were looking for. I also like that we can set-up defined primary and secondary competitors.

automation with Klue is key. I love how you're able to automatically update specific cards rather than manually creating instances and always keeping an eye on everything. i like how every time I log in, certain pieces of information are already updated for us. The Slack integration is also key, but the best way is how the information is been displayed and presented to the sales teams. I feel information distribution is done in a much more streamlined and concise way, helping my sales teams focus on what they need to know without looking across endless lists of documents.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The UI could be improved in my opinion. Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming with all the cards presented under each battlecard. Also, a two way integration with Slack, which I know is coming, will be a huge win!

The team is fantastic to work with. From the consideration stage all the way to launching the platform. I don't have many recommendations to add. A couple from a product standpoint would be that a two-way Slack integration is something that's currently missing. Another recommendation would be to add more analytics to the platform as well as enable more customization for the email newsletter.

The ease of use: Klue is a well designed and intuitive tool.
The service: every point of contact with Klue has been great so far. We have been in contact with 5 people (Megan, Brandon, Adam, Mohammed and Alex) and they have all been very service minded, friendly and likable.

As it is a fairly big tool, there is a relatively long time-to-value (this is to be expected with any CI tool)

If you have decided to invest in a CI tool, Klue will be a really good alternative. Remember that this will be a tool you will be using daily, so having a nice tool to use is really important here. 

Everyone in our company has loved it so far and I think we got more buy-in from other stakeholders internally then we would have with the competitors. Also the onboarding was really great.

We come from far. Our competitive intel was previously scattered and low quality. With Klue we have been able to centralize it in one place for the whole company: Sales, Product, Executives, you name it. The product marketing team is able to assist our sales teams (increase win-rate) and inform the product team about upcoming competitive features.

As our Product marketing team is part of our brand team, we also wanted to help drive our competitive narrative and have a system that fits perfectly with our values.

Klue is so great for getting quick fire facts and competitive differentiators. It is so easy to use / navigate and find out / explore information. I like how visual it is, how the information is informative yet concise and how it presents strengths and weaknesses for different competitors. When explaining an area of strength or weakness, it gives a combating argument for how you could compete and respond to any challenges / push back.

There isn't much I dislike about Klue but maybe that's because I only use it for competitive differentiation battle cards and quick fire facts. I suppose it could be better by including when it was last updated and including more forward looking statements / references about what competitors are doing or what is coming on their roadmaps. Another thing that might be useful is having a section that includes customer references and success stories or conversely stories of failed deployments.

I only use Klue for gaining insight into competitive intelligence but I find it extremely useful to find out information about competitors, what they are selling, where they are doing well and where they are doing not so well. I always have look in Klue before a presentation or demo to gain insight and to gather some quick fire facts. It helps me tailor my demo in a way that sets us up for success, as I can anticipate scenarios that show off our strengths. It also allows me to anticipate scenarios other vendors would focus on and the traps they might have laid for us.

I use Klue for competitive differentiation and also to find areas where our offering is strong versus competition and how we can combat any challenging arguments / pushback. The benefits I have realised are strengthening our competitive position and allowing me to anticipate questions from the prospect. I am resourced starved but need to stay on top of all the growing list of competitors, so I got a Klue, and my life is already improving dramatically. What was once a very manual process to search out updates from a dozen competitors is now all served up nicely in an easily shareable format. I really like the automated information I get that I wasn't previously tracking like employee and social media followers over time compared to my company and even the search engine keywords that they are using. I never have to stress that I missed a key press release or pricing change that will put us on our heels.

I've just launched to the sales and product teams, and no negative feedback yet. I wish I would have purchased this long ago.

I needed help keeping my competitive intel current so that the sales team was not caught off guard or looking foolish with outdated information and positioning. Implementing Klue with the automated intel collection and AI to assist me in surfacing the important updates has been a huge time saver. Plus, it was a struggle to get the sales team to search through my disorganized documents in the old, manual system. Klue is a CI proactive search and identify tool that can turn competitor information into actionable insights and directions to your sales force.  Google can do searches, but Klue's automated crawls based on my requirements save me time separating the signal from the noise.  Best part however is the battle cards you can create based on their templates to make the competitive information actionable.  The customer service ( via RT chat on the site) team responds fast to any questions or issues.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Nothing really.. there's a learning curve like all software, but the customer success group has really helped break down the transition to using Klue into nice manageable chunks. ( with lots of followup!)

Klue is easy to use and get started with.  Klue makes it easy to collect, curate and share competitive information across the entire organization.

Something for the suggestion box would be to include the ability to tag competitive intel in a way that enables you to then create a new board based on tags.  For example Product Management would like to see all the competitive intel on a specific product. So collecting that automatically from all other boards would be a real bonus.

Keeping competitive info in documents means they are not easily accessible to others and are often outdated quickly.  Klue solves both issues by simple web access, a good search feature and time stamps that show when intel was last updated. Additionally the integration to SFDC and Slack means the broader team can easily contribute.  We've created much more communication around competition as a result.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The platform is intuitive and easy to use but at the same time can address the complexity I need. Also, Klue’s drop-down integration is exactly what we needed for the sales team to easily access and leverage battlecards during for their deals. A huge thank you to our Klue CSM, who is resourceful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Sometimes it's hard to navigate back to the Dashboard - a one-click Dashboard button on the toolbar would be great. Small navigation improvements between battlecards and lanes would be helpful as well.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales team can not only quickly respond to competitive solutions in deals, but also preemptively identify our strengths compared to our competitors. Sales team members are confident and empowered in deals, thanks to Klue.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The alerts function in Klue has been a game-changer for us. Being about to customize what relevant articles we want to see and then sharing with the broader company keeps us in the know and ahead of our competition. Integration with Slack is a winner, too, making it easy for our Revenue team to send to Klue.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Battle cards are still very text-heavy. It would be great to have the ability to utilize more visuals/imagery.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

Utilize your customer success manager. Ours has been fantastic from Day 1, checks in regularly, and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we are set up correctly, help us with best-practice templates, as well as answer all our crazy questions.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue keeps all our CI in one place, and with a combination of boards/cards, digest, and battle cards, it's easy for teams to digest and understand. We are getting competitor information out to the Revenue teams faster, and we're staying on top of changes to competitor websites/material. We're also able to write content about relevant trends based on what we see in the market.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Outside of authentic customer support, the technology truly enables the CMI team to respond to competitive moves rapidly. From being alerted on competitive news to drafting a customized Digest, I'm not sure you could have a more efficient approach.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

It's hard to find something to dislike with the platform. Klue has always delivered on its promises.

Klue will allow you to move faster than the competition in the areas that are foundational to success.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are identifying and deploying actionable intelligence across all departments within the organization. We are solving for speed of influence, and the technology and customer support of Klue has allowed us to optimize our approach.

I love that it is very user friendly and it gets the job done every time. I do market research and it is super convenient to be able to have all our intel in 1 place. They also are very responsive to questions and help issues when they arise.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue is a very easy-to-use tool. Focus on the information, and the battle cards are easily digestible. With Klue, I can find information that I wans't able to find on our sites or colleagues. In addition, since technology and products change rapidly with Klue you can be always up-to-date with the latest comptetive information. It is the tool that I was looking for.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

I cannot find any negative points since all I've needed to do I can do with Klue.  An addition could be that since Klue right now supports English only, to add content in other languagues.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

Every company that needs competitive intel should try Klue.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, to find competitors and understand the differences, I had to search on multiple websites to find the information I want or ending up reading out-of-date documents.  I wanted a single source for competitive information, and I got that with Klue.
