**What do you like best about Klue?**

The most helpful feature is Klue's ability to auto-capture intel and fill some of the competitive cards with basic company info (financials, people, blog posts, etc.) which saves us a lot of time. 
Also, the ability to create battlecards or customize existing templates for different audiences (technical vs sales) is really helpful, as it improves our competitive sales strategy.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The interface is not very intuitive when you start using it

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue helps collect competitive info and publish it internally, creating a single up-to-date repository that people from different departments can access. The main benefit is that we can better tailor our messages based on who we are competing against, without having to do our own research and spending a significant amount of time.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

We recently made the move from Crayon to Klue. While we've only been with Klue for a few months, we're already seeing benefits. The product is very user-friendly, and their development team is constantly adding new features and improvements. Klue's pre-sales and implementation teams are some of the best I've ever experienced in the tech space. They communicate regularly, are always available to answer questions, and seem to truly care about what they do. One of the features we really love (our previous product didn't really offer that) is detailed usage reporting. It's helped ensure our Sales team members are interacting with the intel and content available to them.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

I can't think of one thing I dislike about Klue. The product has been great for us so far, and I'm excited to see what our team can do with it moving forward.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue is helping us build out detailed battlecards that are user-friendly and easily accessible to our Sales and Marketing teams. It's also allowed our Sales team to search for intel in the platform and contribute additional intel to our library when they find something that might be valuable to other team members.

Single source of truth for all competitive intelligence has helped us as an organisation distill who our primary competitors are.  CI is now directly feeding into our business strategy and direction.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The software is incredibly intuitive and doesn't require any technical expertise. I've been able to create a professional competitive intelligence offering for our company really quickly.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The majority of the thought leadership sessions and product webinars, including their user conference event, are based around the Pacific time zone, which doesn't work for me. The local team work very hard to make sure we're always aware of the key updates though.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to move from static, infrequently updated competitive intelligence that was almost solely based on the information gathered by a small group, to having a comprehensive "always-on" solution that crowdsources information from our whole company across all regions.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

As a curator, the triage mode to review articles and quickly take action on them is amazing. I'm able to efficiently publicize interesting and important information to sales, marketing, product, and other teams across our org. The battlecards are also extremely easy to create. The learning curve to get started with Klue is minimal.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Although Klue is designed for CI, it'd be awesome if there were a better way to also collect and share overall market intel with our teams. That said, I've worked with our CSM and the support team to find suitable workarounds to get this job done. I always feel heard when I ask questions or bring up requests.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue solves the problem of collecting, collating, and keeping competitive intel up-to-date. We no longer need to rely on Google alerts — Klue scans the web for any news that might interest us. Their filters and tags make it easy to review the information and take appropriate action. And everyone — from our E-Team to our CS reps LOVE the digest! Getting important highlights shipped to you and that you can go back and reference later? GOLD.

The simplicity of the platform helps me organize over 15 competitors easily and effectively. The digest is also super easy to navigate and delivers insights quickly as I build out new battlecards

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

No complaints yet. Again, Klue is simple and does everything I need it to do. I cannot think of new widgets that could make the platform better aside from "breadcrumb" search back capabilities. I have to go back to the companies section every time I jump around to new companies.

It feels like PitchBook has a new competitor disrupting us on a monthly basis. I can easily add information and share it with the team quickly. It helps me stay on top of pressing information before i build out battlecards.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

I've really enjoyed the ability to create templates for competitor insight i.e. "cards" and "battle cards" within Klue. Our team can generate a repeatable template for competitor intel, which makes the whole process a bit more "cookie-cutter" for seasoned employees and first-time PMMs alike.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

My dislikes about Klue are incredibly minor — the one thing I think they can improve on is adding more collaboration between curators and viewers *within* the cards, e.g. commenting on specific cards vs. the entire competitor space as a whole. As a PMM team, we need hyper-specific feedback on the battle cards themselves, and the current comment system is too generally applied to solve this job. Again, only a minor gripe!

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

If you're looking to set up your own CI programme with Klue, get executive buy-in for sure!

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems we had *before* Klue boil down to the following:

1. BEFORE: No single place to store competitor intel   ➡️   AFTER: One place to go for all things competition
2. BEFORE: No easy way to send intel to the team.  ➡️   AFTER: One-click competitor intel uploads to the team
3. BEFORE: Huge effort to create/ maintain battle cards    ➡️   AFTER: Live and dynamically updated battle cards

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The interactive battle cards and overall UX. Klue is very easy to use and as a result, we've seen great adoption.  The new Alerts viewer greatly simplifies curation and Klue's use of templates is a huge time saver. Klue's customer support and customer success teams are excellent and have been there with us every step of the way. Beyond the platform, the thought leadership is a differentiator. Klue's content is highly valuable (webinars, podcasts and CI Summit).

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

It's not really a dislike since a lot of software packages have this issue - I'd like to see formatting capabilities improved a bit in the editor. We understand that it can't be like G-docs or Word, but I'd like to see better control of font size, indentation, etc.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a single place for all competitive intel is a huge win. We now have highly interactive battle cards that replaced static documents. It was a major effort to keep everything up to date. Before, we also had manually-created newsletters. Klue's Digest automates the process and has the added benefit of driving consumers to competitive assets.

Klue provides a single location for competitive analysis that all can easily access in the sales, marketing, and services organization. It can also provide valuable information to the product development team so that roadmap prioritization.

Logical grouping of topics can be tedious. You may end up with several different battle cards for the same vendor, and knowing which should be used for what purpose can cause confusion.

We use Klue to provide competitor information to our sales teams so that can be better prepared for conversations with leads and current customers who may be looking for new solutions.

Klue is extremely user-friendly, it took little training to catch on as an admin and Sohpie, our CSM has been so helpful in getting me onboard. New users catch on relatively quickly with little work on my part. Beyond the system side, the Klue roadmap has really helped us take our competitive intelligence program to the next level.

The ability to edit battle cards and the digest is pretty basic, so many some more features there would be nice.

Intuitive UX wrapped around simple, yet powerful, functionality for collecting and disseminating competitive intelligence throughout our organization. They also provide a wealth of competitive enablement best practices through regular meetings with your customer success manager. That counsel has proven invaluable during our onboarding and first year of the program.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Nothing comes to mind. Klue has introduced now, easier-to-use functionality on a regular cadence since we signed on. The platform is constantly getting better.

Klue’s platform is great. I looked at other options and, though some features were similar, no one else provided both collection and enablement of the insights like Klue.  It’s not enough just to collect intel - it has to be put into sales motion to be truly valuable.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Some of the functionality in triaging alerts can take some getting used to. You might flag something as "important" and believe it's been published to the newsfeed, only to realize it has instead been tucked into a "working" folder, requiring additional action.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've struggled for years to provide our sales team with consumable, up-to-date info on our competitive landscape. The initial feedback from rolling out our interactive battlecards has been tremendous.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue as a platform is pretty user-friendly and easy to navigate. The team is really helpful with training and answering questions and tailoring the tools to your specific needs, personal and organisational. They are really approachable and fun to work with. Our primary running partner is Jenel and she's been super nice, super flexible, helpful and all-round fabulous with all of our questions and obstacles. She regularly goes above and beyond to make sure we get the most of of Klue and she is always conscious of our needs and schedules as we're a lean global team, spread out across continents.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The downsides are quite internal, it can be hard to get users to adopt any new tools in an organisation, particularly a large complex organisation. Klue is no exception. I would say there is a data entry downside, as you have to manually enter a lot of information at the beginning to make sure your battlecards are populated, but there are services that you can purchase/add on from Klue which mean their team can help you do this, if you struggle with bandwidth.

Competitive intelligence gap - our battlecards didn't have a consistent structure, we struggled to keep them updated and centrally accessible in one place for our global audience.

I love how Klue meets users where they are -- with a convenient Chrome plugin, email reporting, and numerous integrations with our workflow tools, Klue has made it easy for product marketing to share critical intel.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

I would like to see the WYSIWYG editor improved upon, such as having more text formatting options. Nice to have items but not dealbreakers: More layout options for battlecards!

Klue makes it easy for product marketing to share competitive intel where stakeholders are working. Instead of sharing numerous decks, info sheets, and wiki pages, Klue consolidates it all into one easy-to-access location.

. Speaking with a prospect about the competition can be challenging to not technical people, Klue helps to keep the conversation on a high level while discussing our product features

I wish Klue would provide more localised insights about the competition, work on integrations with SFDC and email and be able to provide more personalised information about competitors

I love being able to quickly find content on our competitors. The other benefit is that it is not watered down or biased. If a competitor is better in a certain area, it is clearly defined.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The content is not updated regularly. There are new companies and solutions popping up and they may not be captured in Klue. Some of the data points are outdated. It is also not always organized in an easily navigatable fashion.

Klue provides a repository of competitive content to allow reps to quickly find and position our solutions vs our competition. We can easily see how we stack up and identify areas where we can add more value.

Klue has regular product updates. Customer support is qualitative. The tool allows to integrate GONG snippets. The Triage Mode functionality allows quick sorting of alerts. Monitors allows you to spot web page changes at a glance. Customer Support is there to help you move from a Competitive Intelligence approach to a Competitive Enablement one.

Data analysis and activation are not automated enough.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue is very intuitive and solves our needs perfectly! Prior to Klue, we had information living in so many different sources. Klue integrated all these sources together very well and made it easy for any internal team to consume this information. Huge shoutout to their team - Honami, Deseree, Cole, Justine, and Gary who were instrumental in Klue success within our organization. Not only did they provide exceptional support, but they were also very proactive and ensured that we were set up for long-term success with the tool.

Klue has been great so far- however, I do feel that there could be ways to streamline the "boards" so it can be isolated and used by different teams per competitor

Nothing is unlikeable for me yet- sometimes the main customer page can have a lot of uneeded information

Cold calling customers invovles a lot of objection handling so the ability to compare their current infrastructure to our companies offerings is extremely important

Before using Klue, I was spending way too much time on google alerts for competitive intelligence, and then I was manually updating an excel gap analysis. I never had time to provide our product and revenue team a full and comprehensive overview on what our competitors were releasing, with Klue I can finally do that. The platform is also very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

There's nothing I really dislike about Klue. They're good at making UI updates based on recommendations, I would have said a few months ago colour customization, but they have that now. Battlecard swimlanes can be a bit finicky, but it's not a 'dislike'.

Competitive intelligence as a whole. I can finally get insight into our competitors and lay it out in a way thats much more helpful for our revenue and product teams.

Being able to Build an environment for my team to equip themselves how they see fit for any kind of sales conversation they might encounter has been such a game changer!  

It's intuitive and logical and the platform itself looks and feels great. The new alerts section makes sifting through potential intel so quick and smooth. 

I also love The feedback loop Klue creates. It makes obtaining competitive intelligence  such a collaborative  experience and allows my team to get involved and guide me towards what will really be helpful for them going forward.

Genuinely not much. It's a very intuitive software once you get rolling and the customer success team (major shout out to Sophie Goodstein, she's been so wonderful) has been incredible in holding my hand and guiding me through the minimal learning curve and adoption phase.

Utilize your customer success manager to get you off the ground!! Sophie is the reason I was able to adopt and leverage this software the way that I have.

I like how easy it is to set up. Implementation was a breeze thanks to a simple UI as well as help from our incredible account manager Winnie Kwan. Plus you can even ask questions directly in the platform to get quick support.

I like how I was given everything I need to easily pull together enablement for my users. They just make it incredibly roll out the tool and get the most out of the product. I couldn't be happier with our decision.

I like how easy it is to manage alerts and the slack integration is slick! It's getting our team excited and we're building trust with our sales teams when they see the shared competitive intel, ACTUALLY gets used. :)

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The editor is pretty basic but it fit the needs of our purposes. It would be cool to have more options for editing battle cards.

We needed a central source of truth for competitive intel. 

We wanted to be able to measure a win/loss rate and run a threat analysis to more easily influence our GTM strategy. 

We wanted to build trust with our sales team. Our sales team is already starting to trust us even just from kickoff!

While Klue builds out its "workflow" for CI passing through the system, it can be challenging to track, process, and collaborate on each event, preventing things from slipping through the cracks.

It is easily one of the top two CI platforms. You can track competitors via the news, and post simple/digestible battlecards online and across devices. This definitely helped our sales team.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

- Layout and automated cards: Klue's platform is intuitive, which makes rolling it out to larger teams very easy. We chose to run a small pilot in order to get feedback on the system before full launch- feedback was overwhelmingly positive and Sales found it easy to navigate and use during calls with prospects or to prep for calls when going head-to-head with competitors. The automated cards were a nice touch and great value-add to help get the competitor boards quickly filled with base information.

- Integrations: The Slack, SFDC, and browser extensions worked wonders. Meeting our Sales team where they worked the most (SFDC) was very important to us when choosing a CI platform, and Klue really excelled here compared to the competition. The browser extension and universal search features were also applauded by Sales and will definitely drive platform usage and easier knowledge share

- CSMs/Technical support: implementation has been very easy with clear and well thought-out implementation milestones and proactive support and communication with our Klue CSMs and Technical Onboarding team. These teams really went above and beyond and were there to answer our questions quickly and provide helpful information and content during our implementation. The concept of "everboarding" is a nice touch and speaks to the true partnership and investment Klue has with its clients for successful implementation and expanded roll-out.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

There's really nothing I have disliked- I'm looking forward to more feature roll-outs from Klue that will further strengthen the platform- especially in alerts/monitoring and more automated cards on additional topics.

There is a lot of product upside as this is a relatively new space and most of the vendors are newer. For any users - be sure to do your due diligence and share product feedback with Klue to help improve the product faster.

One single source of all competitive information. The automated cards and alerts section keeps us updated with what our competitors are doing in the market and industry day to day basis. This makes sure we don't miss out on any major product launches, updates, mergers, etc.
The battle card option helps sales to find all important data in one place.

It is the best place to maintain all feedback and intel we gather from the sales and product team. The integration with Gong helps us add some good points that any customer mentions about our competitors directly into Klue.

The option of creating small cards and link them back to the main card provides ease in adding detailed info about each topic. The customer success team is there to help with any questions and doubts we might have. They make sure the presentation of intel with the cards look

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Few additional features can be added such as in the alerts section filters -country-wise, industry-wise.
There can be additional automated cards that mention the products the competitor offers and the pricing. This would reduce the manual work of going through their websites and press releases.

It is the best recommended CI and sales enablement tool out there.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our goals with Klue are to centralize competitive content and make sure that the sales team has quick and easy access to the latest information. It is the single source of truth for points such as where we are better than our competitors or what better features the competitor offers. It is the best tool to maintain all CI at a commonplace for the entire organization.

The integration with Salesforce, Slack, and our internal tools offers ease in intel flow within all teams. The battle cards help sales know the talking points when talking about a deal with a customer.
