**What do you like best about Klue?**

I really like what Klue brings to my business. I have a lot of clients that when I start to discover what their needs are tend to focus around features and benefits they've heard associated from some of our competitors and so I utilize this tool to handle those for the manufacturers/products that I'm not too familiar with. Klue really helps me stay on top of our competitive advantages within the marketplace.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Not a whole lot I dislike. Most of the documents are high level, so as a SE I need more in-depth info so I sometimes need to get that from another source.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

Check it out! You'll be glad you did. It's so easy to get good information out of it. It will definitely help increase your competitive knowledge.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I'm solving with Klue are mostly around saving time and effort  to find out what another product or manufacturer's offerings are and to understand what my competitors are pitching against me. I feel like I have a trick up my sleeve to stay on top of the ever-changing data center technology landscape.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue has been a wonderful tool for organizing and communicating the latest competitive intelligence with our sellers. Among other things, I appreciate the ease of access (including via the mobile app), Klue extension for adding CI content to the Feed, Bi-weekly Klue digests, and the Salesforce integration. The Klue customer support team is amazing and I have always seen prompt and same-day resolution of all our administrative issues. The product feature webinars, best practices, battlecard templates, and monthly adoption metrics are a welcome bonus.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Some of the user interface elements could be better. However, its great to see that the product team incorporates customer feedback in the development process to deliver new features, such as the recently launched Revamped Card Editor.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

The Klue product team is extremely helpful and provides a comprehensive demo of all functionalities in the tool. I would highly recommend going through the demo to make an informed decision on whether adopting Klue makes business sense for your product marketing/sales enablement team.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue has become the one-stop shop for all things CI in our organization. It not only enables sellers with the effective positioning and messaging when competing in deals, but also serves as a good information source to bring new hires up to speed about our differentiators versus key competitors. The bi-weekly Klue digests helped me establish a regular cadence with the field and have enabled us to boost Klue adoption to ~50% over the last year.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The ability to push relevant content to the alerts section for organizations that we are tracking.  The tool does a great job of building a workflow that can be a quick daily routine to stay up to date on an ever changing landscape.  The company does a great job of onboarding and continued follow up to make sure the tool is working properly and continues to meet expectations.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The webpage change tracking feature has a few bugs that need addressing.  Klue is aware and this is on their roadmap.

Improving workflow and awareness to competitor tracking on press and web.

Typically, when I am conducting research the time it takes to aggregate all the information inhibits productivity. The Klue platform presented all the information I was searching for and more in one place.

The only slight issue is there were popups that were out of place in my browser which hid data.

Klue is simple to use and intuitive. Where it is not intuitive, it's well documented. 

The best part about Klue is the ability to give sales reps a 5 minute overview of a competitor.

Data on smaller companies is not always available.

We are using Klue as our source of truth for competitive insights. Our problem was all of the competitive knowledge in the company was stored in the heads of a handful of people, meaning they were constantly answering questions for our sales team. With Klue we've made that information self-service.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

I love how easy and intuitive Klue is to use not only for our end-users but also for our administrators.  The user interface is so slick and appealing, and I like how they've added things like the Chrome extension button, the mobile app, and Salesforce integration.  As we rolled out new tech offerings to sales and customer success this year, Klue was hands-down the tech that generated the most buzz and excitement.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Ability to edit and format content could be more robust and less restrictive. Having said that, the feedback mechanism is very communicative and collaborative, and I feel like product team really works hard on listening to our feedback and building that feedback into their roadmap of product updates.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

My advice would be to make sure you have a clear understanding of what problems you are trying to address so you can make an accurate determination if Klue is the right tool for you.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we had with competitive intelligence was lack of time. We have limited product marketing resources and as a result battle cards were neglected and would end up being 9-12 months old. Sales rightfully had zero confidence in our competitive intelligence for them. Klue massively addresses the time problem by doing all the tedious and time-draining work of automatically curating meaningful content for review rather than me spending hours hunting and searching for a needle in a haystack. Now I can quickly review curated content and make updates if need be, ensuring that our competitive intelligence is accurate, reliable, and dynamic. 

The other thing I love about Klue is that it is the single source of truth for all things related to competitive intelligence, and it also provides a super easy mechanism to crowdsource competitive information from our field teams and then ensure that everyone has access to the latest and greatest information in real time. There is so much "tribal knowledge" stuck in different people's heads, and now we have an easy way for everyone to get all that information out of their heads and available for everyone to use. The key is it has to be easy, user-friendly, and quick - and that's where Klue shines the most.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue helps us to make our competitive intelligence more dynamic and a two-way conversation. The reps not only are able to find what they need easily with search and the mobile app, but also it makes it easy for them leave feedback as they hear things in the field. The best part of Klue however is the service and support. Our CSD is fantastic, and being a smaller company we've had full access to the leadership as well to help influence the product roadmap.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Ultimately as with any CI platform, you get out of it what you put into it. Klue can scrape the web and bring in dynamic intelligence about your competitors, but no bots can really take the time to compare and contrast against your product and distill those "key differentiators" and "rights to win."  We are under resourced for this as we kept adding new products to our portfolio, however we've leaned heavily on Klue's managed services to do take that first pass for us and they have done a fantastic job with ramping up on each of our product lines to provide insightful recommendations.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

I would definitely check Klue out over some of the "bigger" players on the market. They will really work hard for your business and bring you into the product innovation cycle.

We are a house of software brands and our team is responsible acquiring new customers for various software brands. We needed a scalable and dynamic way to provide competitive intelligence to onboard reps quickly and for them to be able to self serve.

Easy to use and access on the fly. Working in Sales Development you need to be able to think on your feet. When I am on a call with a customer, Klue allows me to rapidly access competitive intelligence.

Other than the automation, I like the look and feel of the UI which helps me better interact with the sales and product organizations. The platform promotes collaboration across teams and departments.

I could do without some of the default formatting which cannot be altered.

We spoke with two competitive intelligence organizations and decided on Klue. Their support has been fantastic thus far and the implementation phase has energized me in my career. I'm eager to see where we are six months from now and what kind of impact this has on our win rate.

We're now able to link to other pieces of marketing content so those in client/prospect facing roles can tailor their pitch to each competitor they go up against. A centralized repository for all of our competitive intel allows users to search a single location for key insights while also ensuring we're all using the same intelligence. The main benefit is closing the feedback loop with visibility into what users utilize and search for. It will allow us to regularly refine our intelligence and incorporate additional information which other employees acquire through events and sales calls.

Insights provided on Competitor products. It provides very insightful information on competitors and provides all the information on a single platform. I like that there is a vast amount of competitor information there as well.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

User interface can be confusing at times. The scrolling sometimes is not very accurate and it can be difficult to see the information you want when you want it. Also when it comes to the searching mechanism, it is not the most thorough. Whenever a slide from PPT shows up in the results, I would like to see the ability to be able to click into that deck and go thru it instead of just seeing a screenshot by screenshot as it currently stands.

I'm in Perth, Australian and Klue are on the Pacific coast. They were flexible on meeting times, but this is the worst time for overlap for me!

Implementing a tool like Klue into your organisation brings a huge amount of focus to all teams. Competitor intelligence can only be successful if it is embedded into the company's culture. Klue makes the effort of sharing and collecting the information painless and fun, which is massively helpful to bring people on board.

The implementation of the tool is also very simple. The support of the team at Klue is very helpful and it has helped a lot in terms of advising on valuable information that we should be collecting as a business.The fact that the team also offers training for sales teams is also very welcome.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Klue is a fairly new tool and, as such, it is still missing some functionality. However, the team is very supportive and I am confident they will develop the tool at speed and make it even more helpful.

When considering Klue as a tool, do not think just about the features of the product but also reach out to the team on how they can support you in implementing competitor intelligence into your organisation. Klue is great at that and will be very helpful.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The ability to monitor 'befores' and 'afters' for competitor sites, the ability to "Klue" pages or sections of pages across the web is unique to this tool.  I can control what I want monitored.  In addition to the technology itself, the service and responsiveness from Klue staff has been outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The movement of cards can be tricky as the application is sensitive to placement - I'm constantly fat-fingering the card placement.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aggregation of valuable information on competitors is the biggest gain, by far.  The persistent feeds of alerts and monitored pages is fantastic - our ability to specifically target sources with the Klue extension allows us as much flexibility and customization in monitoring that we could want.  The ability to curate the information that's received, critically analyze that information and then publish to desired consumers is fundamental to my role.  Klue allows us to WOW the recipients of our analysis, whether they're Selling, Training, Marketing or Managing.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

We've felt incredibly supported throughout the onboarding process. Our CSM, Sophie, has gone above and beyond to answer all of our questions, provide best practices, and onboarding documentation for our team. We're continuing to customize our layout to track not only information on our competitors for sales enablement but also for our support, marketing, and product teams. The monitoring capabilities are great and allow you to track changes easily on competitor pricing, features, and home pages.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The learning curve can be a bit intimidating at the beginning but by leveraging your CSM you can get through it easily. We're now live and are continuing to meet weekly with our CSM to make sure we're leveraging the software fully. They also have good training content to learn at your own pace and a blog full of best practices.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were tracking competitor information in multiple locations that required a lot of manual updating. Klue centralizes our data and provides the most up to date information that we need. It is helping get our GTM team all on the same page.

The holistic approach the dashboard takes to competitive intel -- sourcing from news sources, key Web pages, and internal information from our sales team. The support and customer success team are wonderful and are always happy to help.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

It is one of our most expensive software plans in our stack so I feel a bit pressured to regularly show its ROI.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

Don't be shy to ask questions to the Klue team -- they are ready to help you! Do keep in mind that they're based in Vancouver so their hours are roughly PST business hours.

We're in the social media marketing space so change is constant. Klue has allowed me to seamlessly keep on top of how competitive tools react to social media and API changes.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The customer service is above and beyond each and every time. If there are any issues, someone is immediately on standby via chat or email and very friendly 100% of the time. The resolution is usually swift and they often provide very straightforward, easy to follow video tutorials on how to resolve the exact issue I'm asking about. David Washer has been my point person and he's extremely patient and clear when answering my questions. 

I appreciate the ease of use. It took me a couple days to get accustomed to navigating through Klue as a curator, but with some help from Klue employee through the chat I was able to catch on quickly.  It's very easy to create new cards and link out to other cards. Search function for keywords is also really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Klue can definitely be finicky or glitchy at times - particularly with formatting. I find it difficult to create a cohesive look and feel amongst all of the battlecards. I want everything to appear uniform, however, successfully formatting a header font or bullet points is sometimes impossible without the help of a Klue employee. I would like more autonomy with the formatting. I know the Klue team is obviously working on this though and the recent updates made have helped. 

Uploading photos to a card is also particularly tedious and glitchy. In the previous Klue version, if you uploaded too quickly you'd get that swirl graphic on top of the photo. Now, after the update, the issue is that photos will often upload and take the place of another photo (meaning another photo in the card gets deleted). Even if I go slowly, I have issues. It's also hard to click in the card and spot a cursor when doing this so it just make the user experience very difficult when uploading photos.

I'd like to see a more intuitive way to post a note from one curator to another. When populating the cards, there are many times when I have a question or want a second opinion from my coworkers. While there's an option to write a Comment, it's not intuitive and I believe it's just a general comment so it doesn't help if you want a second opinion on a specific bullet point or sentence within a specific card, for instance. I was typing my questions directly onto the cards and bold/underlining/italicizing them so other curators could spot them, but that gets in the way of the aesthetic of the cards (especially if I don't want other users seeing it- just the other curators). Klue suggested that I duplicate those cards in which I have questions/comments and then type in a hashtag keyword and tell other curators to search for that hashtag and put that card in Draft mode so it doesn't show up for non-curators. This works ok but could be much more efficient. Also, when you edit a card that's already in Draft mode, it automatically undoes the Draft mode and you have to re-label it as a draft.

Taking on sales competition more efficiently and being more thoughtful about product differentiation in a variety of categories. It would be really cool if there was a way to compare, side by side, several cards in the same category but from different company battlecards. For example, being able to choose a layout where you can look at the "Why We Lose" lanes from 8 different battlecards side by side.

AND they also update our battle cards.  They are really an extension of our team.  As the head of marketing at my company, I see them no differently than I do a full time employee.  They are just a member of my team.

Right now, nothing.  They are actually ahead of us.  So if there's anything to dislike, I'd say itts on our part, not theirs.

Define your engagement up front.  Make it clear to Klue what you can do and what you can not do.  No judgement.  The expectations need to be clear up front and treat them as you would onboard any employee.  Spend the time, get the results.  Its not that complex.

In our industry, we have few competitors and there are not enough to hire a full time person to track this.  So, we outsourced it to Klue. Cleaning up the alerts to get only relevant results takes time but can be accomplished and the AM has greatly helped with this by assisting in the Boolean commands that filter out unwanted alerts. The competitor dashboards seem overwhelming at first with so many information cards but gets better as you take the time to organize them. Still in the implementation stage so it's too early to write about any further aspects of the tool.

Klue offered many features that I deemed valuable from monitoring competitors pages for HTML changes (and alerting me), to creating snappy battlecards for our sales team with both automated and curated cards. The one feature that I think is the most powerful is chrome extension, it essentially has the power to make everyone in the organization an intelligence gatherer, at my organization we gave it to all of our sales, product management teams so when they found something on the web they quickly submit it into Klue, (it would automatically put it in the appropriate "feed" for the competitor as well)

Card editor could be a bit funky sometimes, but super minor stuff that I'm assuming will be fixed.

The market was packed with competitors monitoring all of them was a challenge for my small marketing team. Mobile capabilities work very well for me, they allow my audience to quickly access the information they need and easily share it with their customers. The navigation feature on the mobile capabilities is easy to use. The only piece the mobile is missing is the search function, there is not an easy way to search for information on the mobile without navigating the boards.

I wish I had more creative freedom in design. Currently you have the ability to build out cards but I would like to be able to do more designs within the cards. I love that you can embed gifs and videos thought which greatly improves the look of the cards. My audience has short attention spans so the flashier the card the better. Klue is a solid tool for curating and disemintating CI information, but what makes it a great solution for our organization is that the people are amazing and were incredibly responsive during our evaluation, installation and on-going support.  If you are still building manual battlecards and posting them somewhere so folks have to remember where to go get them, upgrade to a solution that puts the information they need right where they spend most of their time.   Klue can also easily track win/loss against competitors.

Because of Klue, we have moved from a reactive CI delivery method to providing pro-active delivery and a SFDC integrated approach. **What do you like best about Klue?**

As a top of funnel sales representative, Klue allowed me to instantly access information and insights to position against competitors in real time, when challenged during cold calls and product demonstrations. This has been extremely valuable in helping build funnel as well as close deals based on the info I am able to instantly access. 

Additionally, the integrations with salesforce to share information between the platforms means I can do all my work seamlessly without spending too much time doing back and forth between the various platforms. Integration with Slack makes communication and sharing between various aspects of the company even easier and more streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Sometimes the sheer amount of information provided can be overwhelming to use instantaneously.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

Klue has even more relevant applications than I was ever aware of when using the platform, I am realizing now I have probably only scratched the suffice in maximizing the value of Klue and utilizing some of its features. I would recommend ensuring new staff who are given access to the platform to be thoroughly walked through the various components and functions, as well as best practices, to really make the most of it.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Klue's battle cards helps us have the relevant information we need to stand out amongst both our direct and indirect competitors in the space. It also helped our business and marketing departments work better cross-functionally to ensure our goals are aligned and we're using our time working effectively to accomplish projects.
