**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue as a company has built itself as a Customer first organization, this is made incredibly apparent in everything they do, their commitment to working with you (not harassing you or spreading misinformation) through guidance and understanding of your needs and requirements, then continually touching on those elements throughout every stage of the Sales process, onboarding and beyond puts them above the rest. The technology is incredibly intuitive, insanely smart in the way it handles information gathering, and very easy to use!
I would say above all else, the company's best point is, without doubt, the people working at Klue, I've had the pleasure of working with Lauren, Brandon, Justine, and Sanger and can wholeheartedly say, they are the reason I went with Klue, at no point did I feel rushed or pushed, nor did I feel that my size of organization was unimportant to them, as I said countless times during our engagements "It felt like working with my company!"

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

I wish I had something to put down so it doesn't look like I'm the world's biggest fanboy, however, I honestly haven't found a single thing about working with Klue that I haven't found to be a stellar experience... 
To really clutch at straws trying to find something, I'd ask that they work on more integrations, however, what they have today is amazing! We as a company have a couple of technologies that are outside of the normal stack, for reference, Klue still integrates, just a little less seamlessly than a 'primary vendor stack'.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coming into Klue, we didn't have a CI solution in place, we were still using gDrive to store Competitive info as well as the minds of the teams and a TON of Google-ing. We now have a singular source of truth, a constantly updated repository of information that keeps us on our A-Game when going into Sales Opportunities as well as staying informed with the latest developments in products and features from our Competition in the market.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The details about our competitors.  All the information is at your fingertips.  Before jumping on with a prospect that I know who they are using for payroll, I can pull the battle card on them and be better prepared

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Honestly, I really can't think of anything.  If I had to say something, it would  have information updated more frequently.  Some of the information could be up to 6 months old, but still very helpful.

Klue provides a great deal of information about my competitors.  The report gives me a hand up, knowing how they are going to sell against me.  Provides me with landmines for them as well.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue interface is very effective and allows one to find information quickly and use it when needed with the right level of deepening, of course, you have to fill and populate it with the correct information.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

In my experience, I didn't find any drawbacks so far, hence I don't have any requests for improvement or corrections. I didn't try to use it from my mobile device, but I suppose the interface is responsive.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a quick way to find competitive information for our daily work is very important and klue is well suited for this purpose. It is easy to navigate and use.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue is an easy-to-navigate tool that brings together all of the research my corporate team has done on competitors and brings that into one accessible place for me to navigate on the fly.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Perhaps the UI will get some updates down the road? However, I don't feel this matters too much today and it doesn't impact the overall useability.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customers often reference competitors that I know of or do not know of, and Klue enables me to speak more eloquently about how they compare to my product. This knowledge gives me the power to make the sales process more consultative.

Love that the alerts section brings all competitive & market activity in one place that I can easily take and include in battlecards & news digests.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The formatting tools when building custom cards to include in battlecards could work better. Formating tables, changing fonts, and pasting is wonky.

Standardizing our battlecard formats and putting all competitive information in one place has made it easy to find what we need, run enablement sessions, and update assets in real time.

Ease of digest set-up and the ability to track as many competitors (unlimited) as required to meet changing business demands.  This is a unique feature that Klue provides compared to its competitors.  Tracking unlimited competitors has proven invaluable as we follow a diverse market crowded with changing competitors.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The product is working to expectation, and I have no changes to recommend now.

Easy set-up of battle cards to capture real-time market dynamics to keep sales teams information current.
Ability to create complete digests consistently to support field understanding of the changing market dynamics when changes occur.
Very interested in the DoubleCheck acquisition and how this will add value with customer information in the future.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

What I like best is the support during the implementation of Klue. Especially Amelie has been a great help, having her as a  CS manager really helped onboarding the curators and users. We spent a lot of time evaulating different options before deciding to go for Klue, and we have not been disappointed until now.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

I think we overestimated the power of monitoring competitors websites, if this feature would be more intelligent in terms of deciding what is relevant to report, that would be helpful.

Klue helps us to organize all the competitive info we have. It makes it easier for Sales to find information, and gives users more thrust that the information is up-to-date.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

I like that the tool is automatically harvesting data on an ongoing basis.  My previous solution was static battle cards that quickly became outdated as soon as I released them to sales.  With KLUE I don't need to rely on other people forwarding me competitive intelligence that they found on their own.  The automatic data feeds are a game changer for us.  Also, I like the ability to create a breadcrumb trail of information.  It allows a salesperson to get access to essential information quickly while also enabling them to go deeper if they want to.  Users aren't required to read a novel to learn about a competitor.  The data is quick and easy to access.  Also, our marketing team is building out their own battle cards within the platform.  It will enable us to extend the value well beyond our sales team.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

It took us a little longer to set up than I had hoped.  Much of that was on us casting a broad net at the on-set and thinking we needed to have all the cards built out before launching.  As a result, we elected to use a tiering approach which helped us focus on our key competitors and build out the lesser ones as a second-stage priority.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

KLUE  provides accurate, up-to-date competitive intelligence readily available to those in need.  Also, we never had a concrete view of how much of our revenue is exposed to competitors.  Now we can see where we are winning and losing and gain insight into why.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

From a people perspective, Klue has a great team. They make you feel surrounded in the sense of having support. Although I don't expect it, I've never gone more than 24 hours without a reply when I reach out to my CSM or someone else at Klue. They are highly dialed in and engaged. During role out training my CSM, Emma worked extra hours around my schedule to meet the needs of teams across the globe.

From a product perspective, Klue is very invested in supporting the product and identifying ways to improve it. I've seen multiple new features added since onboarding, and I am excited to see what's next. As a user, Klue gives me access to upcoming roadmap features as part of their customer-facing product portal. I can self-serve to see what's next, which gives me confidence in the product team.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The UI could be a bit more intuitive. They have battle card templates but what would be ideal is a battle card wizard/builder. Klue has a great product and great compete domain expertise that is showcased in their collateral, podcasts and employees. I believe there is an opportunity to better merry both so that the expertise makes its way into the product. For example, I learned from a Klue presentation that "story-based" battlecards vs "informational" battle cards are ideal. This makes a lot of sense to me. So I imagine a battlecard wizard that helps guide the user in building the story by asking key questions.

The other component that is missing is a general area that could replace a wiki. Klue is in need of a better landing page that brings it all together for the consumer users.

Klue helps to automate manual processes, consolidate disparate data and helps to display it in more consumable ways.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue does exactly what it claims to do, and once you learn the system, you realize how well they really do those things. The integrations seem nice and then you use them and they're actually amazing. I love how easy it is to collect CI from all corners of your organization, and I love how beautiful and streamlined the battlecards turn out. Plus, Klue makes it really easy to make sure your content is accessible everywhere your sales folks are already looking for content and is the same version everywhere you connect it—it's great! Klue also has an amazing support team and thought-leadership resources—from your personal CSM to help get the most out of your purchase to Compete Week—they're really there for their customers and competitive professionals, in general.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Klue takes some work to get used to. There's definitely a learning curve for how battlecards are best organized, created, and completed. However, the more you dig in and learn the system—the more value you uncover. The other challenge is getting folks to buy into the product—convincing them to use the integrations (put competitive information in deals!) and to store their CI here instead of who knows where else is a major challenge. There's also a small amount of leg work to get the integrations (especially with Salesforce) up and running—though it's well worth it, it does take a bit of work in my experience.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klues helps us in two key ways. First, Klue acts as a repository for all of our competitive information. Whether that's news alerts, a comment in Slack or Teams, or a competitor's blog—if it's electronic you can connect it to a competitor in Klue with a few clicks. Second, Klue's integrations mean that we can put competitive information in all the places where our sales team already looks for information (including Salesforce and Highspot) while maintaining one copy of the battlecard! It's amazing. With Klue there's only one resource to keep updated and it can live anywhere I need it to.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

We have implemented Klue to take the competitive enablement of our revenue teams to the next level. Before Klue, our battle cards were in a standard presentation format and were hard to leverage. Intel collection was also highly manual; a lot of it got lost and never shared with our revenue teams. Klue helped solve both problems. 
Now revenue teams (as the rest of the company) have access to cured intel and targeted battle cards. Klue also helped us make other teams outside of Enablement accountable for content curation. Slack integration is a game-changer for straightforwardly collecting intel. 
Additionally, the support and service we are getting from Klue are great. Implementation support is complete and comes with consulting services on tackling competitive enablement.
It's essential to remember that when choosing a vendor, the solution matters as much as the support you're getting, and Klue is a strong player on both levels.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

At this stage, there's nothing I dislike. Slack and Seismic integration help us a lot to drive the adoption of Klue. Managing Klue as an admin is straightforward, and the initial technical setup is easy. 
End users appreciate the Seismic and SFDC integrations, so their battle cards are in the environment they are using. The feedback from our end users is very positive, especially compared to our previous competitive enablement efforts.
Overall, Klue is very useful for the end user, admins, and collaborators. 
Klue keeps bringing new features and enhancements, and I'm excited to see what comes next!

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Klue, we faced two main problems: 
- Our battle cards for revenue teams were in a standard presentation format and were hard to leverage
- Intel collection was manual, and a lot of it never made it back to revenue teams
Klue successfully allowed us to tackle both challenges at the same time.

Brilliant to have real-time updates on competitor movements, and a centralised place to store it all. Great that it integrates with our existing tech stack. Our CSM Harry is great and very supportive, willing to go the extra mile to help us roll it out!

Would love for the support team to be available for GMT working hours so we can access more technical help in the UK at all times!

- Very flexible tool in terms of building battle cards and dashboards for monitoring competitors
- Good tool for finding news about competitors - like the triage feature, and the smart groupings of headlines
- Very responsive and helpful customer service
- Evolving quickly as a product

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

- Some of the automatic information gathering (e.g., financials) only works well for larger, public competitors
- The Digest feature has improved but is still relatively simplistic compared to other newsletter tools. Pretty much only lets you post a list of articles, but hard to do interesting things like group them into themes
- If you're not a power user, it can be hard to extract the full value. Requires some practice before learning how to use Klue to its full capacity

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The best feature of Klue is the Digest. I have found the Digest is the best way to communicate intel with all users, passive and active. Klue does a great job of scraping the internet for relevant updates; this helps the curators publish effective newsletters.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

For passive or new users, Klue can be hard to navigate.

Prior to Klue, my company did not have a competitive intel tool. We now have a central repository that helps us track and house our competitor intel.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue does an excellent job of collecting insights from hundreds of news sources, monitoring key competitor websites, and helping curators compile the information in a usable format. I also love that Klue continuously enhances its platform by adding more features each month! Klue is a great tool and helps a PMM job become much more efficient!

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Nothing I really dislike about Klue, but there is room for improvement in the battlecard creation. Specifically, more functionality to allow curators to collaborate and edit battlecards simultaneously and provide ongoing feedback within each card.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue saves me a lot of time by collecting (and filtering) all competitor information, monitoring competitors, and building a competitive digest for the team. Klue saves me enormous amounts of time each week and helps me keep up with a very fast-paced industry.

We love how user-friendly the platform is to not only curate content but consumer content as well. Also, their customer service team has made getting set up and maintaining engagement so easy! Our success manager goes above and beyond.

Having an automated feed of competitive updates that are customized for our business is invaluable. The summary and triage features also save us a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

We had a lack of adoption across our sales team, but our customer success manager stepped in to help get the new commpetitive team trained and come up with strategies to mitigate adoption issues.

Klue is capturing the competitive information we need, and giving us a platform to organize it and distribute it to our GTM teams in an automated way.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Klue provides a unique point of truth for all questions related to competitors and how we differentiate. Allowed us to move from "did you check presentation X" to "check Klue". 

It makes it abundantly clear what insights we hold and the gabs we may have. Overal Klue faciliates communication between the teams and allows Sales&Marketing to build better insights. 

The platform is well designed and comes with regular updates and improvements.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Building content and insights takes time. Klue's Customer Success team is on top of things and provides a lot of support but at the end of the day, the company using Klue needs to gather insights and build the messaging.

Minor dislike on the text formatting. Its improving but Klue is still missing some of fomart options.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue is our baseline for competitive enablement. 

We have one source of information for competitive enablement and everybody (,Sales, Marketing, C-level) who needs competitive insights now knows where to find them.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The dashboards and battlecards are a great plus on Klue. They are intuitive, with good visuals, and the possibility of accessing them via mobile is an excellent feature. The alerts session is also great to help flag major changes to be on top of the competition.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Dislike is too strong. There is space for improvement in some areas, such as the Monitor section. Through the klue extension it's possible to add pages to monitor, but that will automatically add it as an alert (at least when I was setting up my account a few months), and that was not the best experience (not sure it has been solved). Another thing in the Monitor scope is that whenever there is a change in the competitor's webpage that is being monitored, even if it is in the cookies section, it will appear as a change. We should be able to exclude cookie changes from appearing as a change in the Monitor section.

Working with the Klue platform and the staff to launch our competitive intelligence program has been a very welcoming experience, both with the people behind it and the software itself.

The platform is incredibly comprehensive and can feel a little daunting with everything that is available. There is a considerable time investment to consider for anyone planning on being a curator. There are times where the monitors that prompt if there are any changes simply show an different ad that was shown on a competitors website rather than an actual change to copy or features.

I love how Klue keeps all of our competitive intel organized in one place that's easy to keep up to date and to share with our across our organization, from sales to product development and leadership.

I would love for the Klue team to continue to expand on formatting options on boards to make them even easier to update, work with tables/grids and highlight specific information.

The Klue boards help us organize all of the information we are collecting into a format that is easy to share and to update. Alerts help us stay on top of regularly reviewing and updating the boards, so the information is always fresh. The automated news notifications are similar to Google Alerts, but with a great tool for processing and adding the info to the correct boards and a digest email. The Google Chrome extension and Slack integration have helped us to involve our Sales team and others in find and sending in intel to Klue that they may encounter either online or on a call. This helps my product marketing team stay on top of all the latest information and updates for the competitors we are tracking and helps us to make sure the most important and relavant intel is communicated across our organization.

Having used other CI platforms in the past, Klue has the strongest information UI/UX, which is critical for bringing users back to consume available insights. The automated insight collection is as strong as is available in the market from our solution evaluation.

This "downside" is more of a wish list (since I find Klue to already be best in their class) -- it would be nice to have more W/L analysis value and better integrations to produce workflows with non-Salesforce CRMs

We need to have stronger capabilities for our organization to access and use competitive insights -- this is the baseline issue we have been able to resolve (within the available boards we can license of course :D). The ease of use of Klue is first and foremost. I could navigate Klue the first time I opened it and figured out quickly how to find items. The interface is easy to follow, and it does not take an advanced degree to figure it out. The ease of use makes training easy and quick; It also is easy for the business to adopt because of the low learning curve to become proficient in Klue's use.

My only complaint is that it does not have a data storage function.  I know that will add complexity, but as an intel collection, processing, and dissemination tool,  It should have a file management system.  The ability to upload docs and intel and to organize and store them would be a game changer.

**Recommendations to others considering Klue:**

Klue's best advantage is its easy use and clean interface.  The battle cards and the company landing pages are intuitive and easy to follow.  Training to be proficient in Klue is minimal and straightforward.  Because of the lack of a file management capability, I would recommend that you create a process in another location to do so but loading the data for consumption by Klue users is easy and efficient.

The problems being solved for the business are three-fold.  The first is a central oont of truth available to the company to access competitive curated content that enables the business to win.  Second, it has decreased the time to value of bringing on new sales reps by giving them access to an easy-to-use format that prescribed how to win against the primary competitors.  Third, it allows the business to scale as it grows; the Intel and enablement teams curate the intel and then roll it out to New team members or partners with little effort.

Klue enabled our product marketing team to thoroughly collect, curate, and deliver competitive intelligence across every department. It helped us professionalise our competitor analysis, ensuring we were always up to date. Our main stakeholder, the sales team is engaging with the content and it's very happy with the tool itself. Another critical point is the support we receive from our Customer Success Manager, Sophie. She guided us through the implementation phase like a pro, always ready to answer our questions, and guide us through the tool and its usage.

At first, it might seem a bit overwhelming with many options and tabs to navigate. The Klue UX team has been making significant progress in improving the user experience. Anyway, this is something that can be tackled quickly with the right Customer Success Manager. 
If I have to think to another point, it should be a bit easier to separate battle cards and content, from different teams within the same organisation.

We have benefitted from working closely with Colin to implement the roll-out of Klue to several teams, and this has been very valuable. Colin and the rest of the team have been amazing to work with, and it has been the most positive onboarding experience. Klue moved us from a collection of random doc files and a stream of one-off Slack observations to a centralized, curated repository of valuable competitive information.  I've seen sales reps yoink info we put into Klue battlecards and use it explicitly to overcome objections set up by competitors or to lay traps of our own.  The internal stats show who's benefiting, which competitors are most frequently searched for, and where you're missing.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

The editor/formatting interface can get a little wonky, trying to fit what you want on a card in a way that's useful to the readers. The Salesforce integration isn't as seamless as we had hoped for our deployment - hard to train sales team to enter a competitor THEN go find related battlecards from the Klue widget.

Klue is intuitive, easy to use and offers great functionality for enabling sales, marketing, product and other teams with competitive intel. Creating battle cards is simple and content can be shared easily with users. It's great that sales users can access content on the go via the app, HubSpot, Slack or other integrations. 

The Klue team was extremely helpful and knowledgable during the sales and onboarding process and continues to provide excellent support which is appreciated.

Not much to dislike. Perhaps just occasionally with smaller/less known competitors we are tracking we might not get as much information automatically pulled into the platform compared to larger competitors.

I like the concept of saving alerts to competitive boards and a digest but execution can be improved

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Despite multiple consultations with Klue, the system produces far too many useless alerts, leaving me to believe that the AI is not built well to automatically filter out what isn't desired. The answers presented as a solution are all workarounds of blocklists, filters, etc that require too much user time / maintenance on a daily basis. Assistance provided was boolean exclusions which I could have done myself. I do not enjoy using Klue - it is a necessary evil to make sure I don't miss a piece of news but it takes far too much time to get there. 


UX is currently average at best. There are too many clicks to move through this process quickly. As part of a software company, I know UX.

I will update my review accordingly if any of this improves. I have been very candid with Klue about this for some time.

Update: Klue implemented a version update that made the entire alert system considerably worse (both function and UX). This made it clear they did not listen to some critical feedback about how the system is working. For this reason, I reduced the rating.

I love the alerts function, where all the latest news is curated and delivered every morning. Then, being able to insert commentary on the importance of each piece and sending it to all Klue consumers is huge. The monthly newsletter has been well received and helps summarize the biggest news from the month prior, and the Battlecards are incredibly easy to update.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

No downsides as of yet! There is a good deal of manual work that needs to happen to get the Battlecards off the ground, but this is inherent in any CI tool, and not due to shortcomings in the Klue product.

None that I have seen, Klue has been very helpful in solving any integrations we require, such as the one with our internal customer relationship management tool.

What's not to love? Our CSM is a rockstar, the platform makes finding competitor intel a breeze (I mean huge time saver), it keeps everything in one place, updates and pulls important intel in. I love organization, and Klue helps me dominate that!

I would love some better analytics that goes a bit more granular to understand consumer data. With that being said, we have voiced these asks to our CSM and they relay all feedback to their team and they listen. I feel heard when I bring up requests for Klue.

Ease of use! Klue has three features that make my competitive intelligence tasks easier: News triage, constant monitoring of competitor site updates, and easy construction of battlecards. Every workday, I check out Klue's automated roundup of news alerts about my competitors. Using its triage feature, I can quickly separate the wheat from the chaff, and push only pertinent news to my company's feed and intel digest. The monitoring of competitors' sites lets me quickly zero in on any pertinent announcements I may have missed. Finally, for the battlecards, I really appreciate how the battlecards' automated feeds help me update information fields as they occur in real time. Klue has been a massive improvement over my past workflows (which involved me using Google alerts and Excel); it's a real time-saver and allows for more comprehensive competitive coverage than any one individual could hope to do without making this a full-time job. Beyond that, the support team is fantastic!

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

While I love the battlecards and the alerts, both could stand to have some slight improvements. For the battlecards, it's not easy to correct information culled from automated feeds when I spot errors in the source data that populated the feeds. As for the alerts, they capture everything on the web, including companies and concepts that have the same names as my competitors. This is really a very minor annoyance however; the alerts and the triage system save me much more time than its overcapture eats up.

Klue really helps me do granular and comprehensive monitoring of my competitors' publicly-known activity, and it does a great job of consolidating all my findings into a single place for my sales team to consume. A side benefit is that now I have far fewer individual queries from sales colleagues about competitors. They go look for what they might need in Klue first. It saves time for all of us!

**What do you like best about Klue?**

The ease of use of Klue is one of the biggest advantages. Easy to navigate and understand. At first, it might seem a bit overwhelming with many options and tabs to navigate through, but with the help of the CSM team, you realize how easy it is to use. Klue's CSM's are incredibly helpful and talented - they have great suggestions for improvement. They do their best to help with any change you are trying to implement in terms of layout, design, accessibility and organization of content. We have a great relationship with Nate and Harry and appreciate their ongoing support.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

My only suggestion for improvement would be to create a space to store data. For example, is a Digests archive that team members can return to and read in one place. Or perhaps a place that holds presentations, videos and other materials as a learning library (documents that are too detailed to put into a battlecard). Also the alerting feature needs improvement as sometimes does not capture important news.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Klue is a source for collecting and sharing competitive intelligence with the organization using battlecards, news feeds and a weekly newsletter, helping us centralize competitive information for our sales teams.

**What do you like best about Klue?**

Competitive intel is broken out into folders by company or product, which makes it easier to navigate and find what you need. Battlecards are clean and visually appealing so consumers actually use them. The inbox for news alerts and the triage function make admin responsibilities easy. Stakeholders love the weekly digest and Klue has been so helpful in creating a community of users that share field intel both through the app and through email. It's intuitive and simple. It's a breeze to roll out.

**What do you dislike about Klue?**

Microsoft teams integration was rolled back which has caused some frustration.

**What problems is Klue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Democratizing competitive intel. Creating a culture of sharing competitive field intel at scale. Helping us increase our competitive win rate.
