What do you like best about Kinsta?

What do you like best about Kinsta?

Kinsta just works ... period. I am not an expert trained prgrammer. So it is very very important to me that setting it up my sites and keeping them running as things keep changing (plugins, mail servers, DNS ... etc.) is easy. This is where Kinsta stands out amongst all the hosting I have tried over the last 20 years. Kinsta makes things easy, and whenever it is not easy for me their incredible, effective, and empathic real-time 24/7 support is there!!!! Kinsta support is experts who really know what they are talking about and have not only helped me quickly on every issue I have had the four years I have been with Kinsta, they also think around the corner and help me solve issues I did not know I had. Even more important to me is the the Kinsta ninja's explain things so that I understand them (sometimes with a kind nudge to dumb it down a bit :- )).

Then there are the manual backups that have saved me many times. Just backup before any big or small changes if you feel uneasy, and roll back at the click of a button.

My Kinsta sites have been up 99.99% of the time! And if they are not, or there is a problem, I get emails so that I can react right away.

And last but not least, Kinsta's new pro-rated power management toggle is fantastic because it lets me grow and shrink the backend power of my sites as I need it. You only pay for the extra power when you need it and as your website grows. This is truly fantastic for me.

In short, Kinsta is solid, serious, supportive, innovative and let's you sleep better at night. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

There are always ways to improve. Standing still is no option. Kinsta is in my experience always ahead of the curve. They even have regular (voluntary) customer interviews to find out how to best improve. THe only thing that I wish for is standard 512mb memory instead of 256mb. Websites and plugins keep geting drawing on more and more memory so 256 is slowly becoming a too low a baseline. But, that being said ... finding standard 512mb memory hosting is hard and, for me, switching would mean loosing all the other features that make Kinsta stand out above most, if not all, other hosting.

Of course, as a consumer I would always like more for less. Kinsta is not cheap but it is worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kinsta solving and how is that benefiting you?

Migration was seamless. With a little support setting up and optimizing DNS and SMTP were comfortable. Update and reset PHP at the click of a button. With a little support sometimes, optimizing server-related website speed settings, analysing errors, and much much more let's me rest easy that my sites are secure and running, and should anything go wrong, that I can quickly find and solve the problem. What do you like best about Kinsta?

We use Kinsta web hosting for our college's WordPress sites, which includes a multisite network of about 50 sites/blogs, plus a few other microsites. Kinsta's support team helped us migrate all of our WordPress sites from another web host to theirs, which was a smooth painless process.

Hosting and performance have been very reliable. Support is great. The backend interface is simple and easy to manage. I like that I get an email if there's ever a coding error or incompatible script or plugin. I also like the option to host a static site with the current WordPress plan.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

What do you like best about Kinsta?

I’ve been using Kinsta for years, managing everything from single-site plans to larger accounts with dedicated server add-ons and custom plans. What keeps me coming back is the perfect combination of ease of use, powerful features, and incredible support. And, of course, great infrastructure backed by the best Google Cloud offers.

One of the best things about Kinsta is their free migrations—moving clients from other hosts is incredibly simple. And if you need a faster turnaround, their priority migration service ensures a seamless transition within hours.

Kinsta packs a ton of features that I use daily. From automatic backups, built-in security, staging environments, and CDN integration to database hosting and application support, they provide everything needed to run a high-performance website.

I like that they constantly are looking for ways to make their offerings better. What do you like best about Kinsta?

I've had no downsides although i would love for them to recommend someone who is as knowledgable as the team to assist me with website issues that aren't related to the server, like a best in class list of developers who they may know (disclaimers attached, of course). It gives me confidence to run my site well. I have an ecommerce site Little French Heart which at times has huge spikes in users. I need a reliable server host and a team of experts to assist me in running it. I have no technical skill, I'm a journalist and storyteller by trade, and so i need Kinsta to assist in ensuring the site is always running optimally. I'm also a single mum and breadwinner, so ultimately, Kinsta is not a technical platform to me but an important artery or connection for me to earn a living. What do you like best about Kinsta?

I've been using Kinsta since 2018 and it's been a great journey. First and foremost the quick support I get from them is awesome. Anytime I need anything, they were available there to help me out.

With MyKinsta everything is made easy, from clearing cache to modify domains, PHP version, etc.

I can check daily a lot of analysis report to see how everything is going too.

And the performance: oooooohhhh gosh! It's super fast!! Now with Cloudflare CDN and Edge Caching and Google Cloud Platform, the performance is unbeatable.

Now I'm starting using their Application Hosting and Database Hosting and I'm impressed as well. With Github integrations, it's easy to implement CD/CI pipelines, really quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

What do you like best about Kinsta?

The best thing about Kinsta is their support. I've contacted them a few times over the years to resolve issues and they've always gotten back to me immediately and resolved issues promptly. Their customer support people seem to be very tech-savvy and knowledgeable. I also find the interface easy to use, can find what I'm looking for with just a few clicks. Their pricing is probably competitive but it does sting a bit every year when my hosting bill comes in. I recently downgraded my plan after my site lost traffic and I didn't need so much visitor allowance. I like that I don't really have to think about my hosting with Kinsta. If anything goes wrong, their support usually solves it quickly or points me in the right direction immediately. What do you like best about Kinsta?

Kinsta's platform is extremely well thought out. We moved to Kinsta after 15+ years with Rackspace.

Some people seem to think it's "expensive", but honestly the peace of mind and how much time I save not worrying about "hosting" makes it a bargain overall. PHP updates, SSL certs - all handled automatically. Frankly, it just works.

never worry about speed, uptime or other things that used to cause me grief. It's a good service and when I've needed some help, it was quick and easy to get.

Migration was an initial concern as we had some rather out of date versions of Wordpress on some sites, but Kinsta's support made quick work of it. I didn't expect it to be that easy, or I would have switched a long time ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kinsta?

I'm a huge fan of Kinsta' customer support. You get to chat with a human in seconds and they know how to solve your issue just as fast. I've tried other hosting providers that make you sit and wait forever. Kinsta gives me the confidence to offer premium WordPress hosting and maintenance solutions for my web design clients. Before them, I was building servers on Google Cloud Console, but lacked the ability to actually offer hosting as a managed solution for clients. I ended up building sites on other people's hosting platform of choice which caused an insane amount of headaches dealing with terrible customer reps. I won't mention which platforms I used, but I didn't enjoy any of them. What do you like best about Kinsta?

Security. They monitor every threat. They are proactive. They are aware of every tool we use and warn us quickly if we use anything in any way that could be risky. They do what the others say they will do. Professionalism. The communication is perfect. They tell me and my web developer everything we need to know. With most companies you get spam and advertising. With Kinsta, every email is worth reading because they write when it is important and we need to take action. What do you dislike about Kinsta?

What problems is Kinsta solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were with a very popular name that was purchase by one of the big folks that manages it for cash. Higher payments and worse service. Our sight was infiltrated by a Chinese company using it for storage and presentation of ads. It turns out that common super security system that so many use was not installed write and per the 2nd vendor, they did not know how to install it. It was a mess. We had every security service they offered and there was no means to fix the problem including a complete restoration. We had to move. I learned that there were a few of these top quality hosts that were independant from the mega corps that own hundreds of hosts.
